Posted: 17 Nov 2018 05:40 PM PST Would rather have lots of friends who drink and party and are fun, who get by pay check to pay check. Or would you rather have 1 friend who is serious with some tough love, because they want to see you winning in life? |

Question: Work drama help????????? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 05:06 PM PST My name is Ryan and I'm having a small problem at work, I have a good friend Zoey from work And she knew I had a crush on another girl named Rebecca, rebeca works in different departments but I obviously cant have Rebecca because shes married. But me and Rebecca always talk and we are still friends.... soo my friend Zoey told me to stop talking to Rebecca because apperantly rebecca reported me to a supervisor about sexual harassment. I began avoiding Rebecca because I was mad, but I later confronted Rebecca and she told me she had no idea what I was talking about. And apparently my friend Zoey had gone up to Rebecca in the past to talk sh*it about me, soooo I feel like Zoey doesn't want me to be friends with Rebecca. Rebecca emailed a supervisor because Zoey is always causing drama. Can I have advice please?????? |

Question: My friend keeps sending one word responses? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 03:10 PM PST We used to be best friends and we would literally talk all day online (we don't get to see each other often since I moved a few hours away, but that doesn't really have to do with anything currently since I moved two years ago). Lately (it's been going on around 2 months), she has just been sending one word responses (or at least very short ones) to all of my messages. I'll say something that we would normally both laugh at and talk about more, and she'll just go "lol" and stop typing. It is honestly hurting my feelings. She has a sister who is another one of my best friends, and she has been doing the same thing. I don't think they mean it in a bad way, so I'm not sure. Help? Advice? Am I being too sensitive? |
Question: Secret Santa ideas for a woman...go!? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 02:46 PM PST I've only met her twice, as she's new to the work team and came when I was gone for 3 weeks. She's engaged to another girl I work with. I know it's supposed to be "Secret" Santa, but do you think it'd be a bad idea to ask her fiance what she likes? Or should I stalk her Facebook? LOL! Really though, what should I get her? I know I personally am not picky, but some girls might be. She's in her early 20's, if that helps. |
Question: Do you class your work colleagues as friends or just people you work with? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 02:41 PM PST Some people at work are good friends and chatty, confident and I'm not really. I'm very unconfident. At times I feel left out and not liked very much because I'm not close with any of them it's primarily just work |

Question: Should I let my friend get away with this? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 12:51 PM PST At my work, I have a friend, and I found out that he frequently sneaks into the back room and unhooks the DVR from the security cameras and hooks up his old PS2. I am pretty mad about it because he keeps leaving me to do all the work in the front of the store... I'm thinking of taking a hammer and smashing that darn console to bits! Should I do that, or call our manager and get him fired? I'm also thinking of a way to get back at him, so I've been talking to his girlfriend, and we are planning on setting it up where I should come over and have sex with her when he's in the shower. Please tell me what you guys think of my ideas, if the ideas are not good, how can I make them better? |
Posted: 17 Nov 2018 11:49 AM PST I want to know if this is a turn off. I don't have many friends. In the past I had drinking buddies that were two faced. All they did was drink all weekend long. I don't want drinking buddies anymore. I had one that didn't go to jail for his 3rd DUI. He decided not to go to court for his sentencing. I had another one that I know can treat women like **** and I know he has been to jail for beating them. I was never like them. I moved on and I've been ok on my own for 2 years. I still go out to bars to meet women. I go to nice bars though not crappy ones. I can get along with anyone and I'm easy to make friends with. I do have more acquiesces now then friends. I may meet people at bars or online friends. |
Posted: 17 Nov 2018 11:44 AM PST your stuff without your permission??? Don't you hate it even more when they borrow things? Why do they have to borrow anything when they can always go to the damn store and buy it? Cheapskates! Didn't anybody ever tell these people what Ben Franklin said? "Neither a borrower nor a lender be!" That is excellent advice! I never borrow anything and I never lend anybody anything! People who borrow things are losers! They are not your friends! Let them buy their own damn stuff! |
Question: Are friends really that important to have? I'm fine keeping to myself.? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 10:35 AM PST I've had so many friends and I want to keep to myself from now on. I've seen too many people **** eachother over or done stuff to me. I still do stuff on my own. I go to the bar and I talk to people there. I have online friends to talk to. I come from a good family. I think if I had friends again I would just get drunk all the time. In the past that's what I had was drinking buddies. I've now cut back and don't care for that. |
Question: Do you make friends with co workers? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 10:28 AM PST I work with this guy on weekends. He may text too much sometimes and sometimes it can be pointless stuff. He has gossiped about me to my old co workers at my old department. Yet he says he considers me a friend when I ignored him. He told them about my mistakes and what may happen. If he's a friend he shouldn't have done that. I think he was more concerned about my job. If he is then he should talk to me. Yesterday he was texting at 7am about a football game. Who does that to people. Text them at 7am I told him never to do that again. It was my day off. |
Question: Could this woman and I end up dating in the future? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 08:48 AM PST I've been texting this woman. She said that I'm nice looking but she's not interested in dating. She's given me dating advice and she's given me tips on where to look for work based on my interests. She's open to hanging out with me and has invited me to hangout at her place to sit and talk. I asked her if we could watch a movie while at her place and she said we could. She said I need to come out of my shell. What do you think? I know she said she's not interested in dating but we haven't actually met up yet. I have a feeling she could fall for me in the future as we start spending time together. |
Question: How to stop breaking the rules in my house? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 07:49 AM PST So ok, I'm 11 years old and I'm looking for help! I break a few rules in my house. I keep watching Youtube when I shouldn't. I keep neglecting my chores. Well of course I do play games like Fortnite. I'm so far behind in classes too. (I'm in 6th grade) I'm right now writing this on my iPad because my computer isn't working properly. Please only write answers telling me how to fix my issues. Thanks Also I'm a boy and I have a brother (17) who is on track on classes. (12th grade) I don't want to end up struggling in High School and College. My parents even dropped me out of a computer science school called "Ucode" because they couldn't pay and I was far behind in school. Also I sometimes spend a bit too much playing games like on a weekday, I could spend 3 hours playing and 7-8 on weekends Don't say your too young I'm going to delete my account when I get a good answer Also we do work on paper and my teacher doesn't give us homework Also what I mean is I'm not able to do 6th grade work and I'm still studying for it No one has a right answer!!!!!! Make better answers! |
Question: Why would someone who clearly knows you pretend they didn’t know you? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 07:38 AM PST There is the girl I know and she pretended not to know me which is weird as I know her for years.... i hate saying this but I know women can be bitchy.... would it be because I'm considered by other people as very pretty and I'm slightly privileged but in no way arrogant to people? I find women shun me a lot, the ones I don't know.... |
Question: Friend is more sucessful than me in regards to women? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 07:34 AM PST So my friend can play guitar, has yellow *** teeth and oily hair and bad breath and looks like me in some regards But girls seem to flock to him and none like me even though I am intelligent and political and He just has a sense of humour and an ego |
Question: I don’t know what to do & it’s making me depressed?! Need some advice please? Posted: 17 Nov 2018 06:58 AM PST Basically, I unknowingly spread around a racist joke that my friend said to me ( I'm black). I was talking to my other friend about it in our sixth form common room, I didn't say anything bad about my friend we were kind of laughing about it saying she shouldn't have said it but I was over it & knew she was joking. But then other people overhead and they got offended by the joke until half of the sixth form found out and then proceeded to corner my friend and call her racist. So I was really upset because it was my fault for bringing it up, but she shouldn't have said the comment in the first place and it's not the 1st time she made a racist joke. Anyway, now her and her best friend( who I'm also friends with) aren't talking to me and most of the people I talk to in my form are now not speaking to me. I found out later on by a teacher( it got to the teachers) that my friend (the one who said the comment) has been saying she never even said it so now I look like a liar who wanted to start drama and she looks like the victim. I suppose being called a liar is better than being called racist, but my friend didn't even come and tell me that she was going to deny it, I found out from the teacher who basically said that I must have made it up in my head. Half of my sixth form thinks im a liar &I dread going to sixth form and have resorted to sitting by myself in form & have cried about it a lot too. |

Question: This girl acts like she's trying to go out of her way to talk to me? Posted: 16 Nov 2018 09:03 PM PST In my college class, this girl started talking to me in the beginning of the semester. She talks to a few people around her during class, but not nearly as much as me. The first time we ever talked, she went up to me and said she liked my shirt, and we ended up actually having a really nice convo and stuff before class, and every day of class we always end up talking at least for a little bit, as well as during class as well. Since I don't drive yet, but she does, she also mentioned that she wouldn't mind bringing me/picking me up to and from where I needed to go, and this was also around the beginning of the semester as well. Today she asked for my phone number, so we talked more, and she again said she would definitely bring me to school/to home or something if I needed a ride. Today she brought up giving me a ride home, and when I said I'll see if we could do that next day of school, she seemed kinda upset. Is there any reason as to why this person would seemingly really want to be with me for some reason? She has a boyfriend. |

Question: I've lost all hope in restoring my friendship with someone. Is that bad? Posted: 16 Nov 2018 06:49 PM PST |
Question: Keeping roommates up with coughing fits. They yell at me the next day? Posted: 16 Nov 2018 06:30 PM PST So I ve got pneumonia and I have four other roommates but my coughing fits are keeping them up. They work early so they re getting upset that I m keeping them up, that s why they re yelling at me. I ve tried to move to another part of the house but it hasn t helped. I m using a humidifier, Vicks, antibiotics, a cough syrup, and an inhaler so I don t know what else to do to help them sleep better and stop my coughing. Any suggestions? |
Question: I'm having a slight issue with potential roommates.? Posted: 16 Nov 2018 06:27 PM PST For months now I've been searching for a place to stay with two of my friends. We were originally looking at on-campus apartments, but, not long after, turned our sights onto renting a house instead (considering they're significantly cheaper than the nearest apt complexes). A week ago, out of the blue, two random numbers were added to our GC, leaving me somewhat confused. I messaged the original two girls asking who the new numbers were. I was informed that they were two girls they had met who would be rooming with us. I was a bit surprised considering no one had told me of this change. I tried not to let it get to me, assuming they must've simply forgotten to ask me. Now, they're all looking at apartments again. I messaged all four of them asking if we could all get together sometime soon and discuss what we're all looking for in terms of living situations. Ignored. I then messaged the two original girls separately and asked if we could hang out or get together within the next few days (I wanted to talk in person about my annoyance of them not including me in the decision to add two more girls. I didn't want to do it over text so as not to seem snarky or self-centered). That message was also ignored. I KNOW they were ignored because minutes later the subject was changed in BOTH GM's. I don't know if I should ask again, or just let it go. Please let me know if I'm seeming self-centered or snarky. I really don't want to cause issues with them. Any advice helps! |
