I know everyone can gossip and I've done it and learned. Lets say if I talk about a friend to another friend of mine. Lets say we are all friends. Is that a bad thing to do. As long has i'm not talking about there personal business and negative. I know so many people can talk about other people's personal lifes and I've done it and learned. I think most people have.

So I'm in trouble with a friend ... Got into a fight and in about or probably lost my friendship with her. We haven't talk in a week and shes not even replying my messages. I want to tell her that she's the reason why I didn't commit suicide when I was in hs. She saved me from depression but she doesn't know that story .. basiaclly I wanna tell what her friendship means to me so she wouldn't walk away or give me another chance with her. Is that story a bit too much?

I'm friends with a guy that is 10 years older than me, and have been for a year and a half. He helped me get through a difficult time in my life. At first we didn't hangout much, just causally. We got coffee and dinner quite a bit. Once i turned 20 we started hanging out more. Three times this week. I noticed this week that: He always makes eye contact. He gets close and touches me occasionally. He Introduced me to his brother, sister, step brother, and a friend. Gave me a book that is important to him that has poems he wrote about his childhood. Gave me part of his collection. He also seemed to be worried about whether i was having fun or what my opinion was on his family and topics we talked about. He has always given me and bought me stuff even if i insist otherwise, given me advice, loves teaching me new things. It's hard for me to tell if I'm misinterpreting his actions or not. Sometimes I don't hear from him for a while. He also doesn't just text me to text me. But when we do hangout he is very nice and respectful. He tells me how proud he is of me and how far I have come. And that I'm doing great things with my life. Is he just being a really good friend? Or does he maybe like me?

So I'm friends with this older guy I met at a place I used to work at. We have been friends for over a year now. He is in his thirties and I just turned 20 in September. So when we first met I was getting out of an abusive relationship. We didn't hangout much. Once i turned 20 he started inviting me to his house. He is quite different from most people. He is so intelligent. Obviously since he is older he doesn't get on social media or communicate the way people my age do. So i can't tell. This last week, we hung out three times. We went to a bonfire twice, once with his brother and the other time just him and i. Both times we stayed pretty late. The third time he invited me to the movies, and introduced me to some more family members and a friend. After the movie him and I went back to his mom's business for a bonfire. He is very respectful of me and what I went through. He is always wanting to help me with school. It's hard to tell if he is just trying to be friendly because I'm younger and he wants to advise me, or if he kind of likes me. He sends me mixed signals a lot. He will tell me how proud he is of me and how far i have come. He always buys and gives me stuff that's important to him.But then sometimes I won't hear from him for a while. I'm so awkward and introvertedabout this stuff is confusing to me after my last relationship. I don't know if I'm just confusing his friendliness for mixed signals. So just kind of want an outsiders opinion. Thank you.

I tried to ask at thr post office todsy but the woman was rude and refused to help. My best friend of 7 years deployed 1 year ago and I want to send him something for Christmas but i have no idea how. I already bought the snacks and clothing but can not get any information on sending it.

My best friends really love to talk trash about me behind my back... specifically to girls to embarrass me. It's gotten me so mad that I told them I would get them back. One of them, Elove, tried to manipulate me into having him on my good side so that I wouldn't prank him. Elove helped me Saran Wrap our friends car and now he has no idea that our friend, B, wants to help me get him back because Elove is the most POS out of all of us. A friend Linda who works in the same large office building as I do ask if I could drive her home as her car would not start. At her home, we were met by her teenage daughter Cindy who I had met previously. Linda ask me to stay for a dinner she would cook for me. As Linda was cooking dinner Cindy ask me if I would help her with her homework which I did. After we finished her homework, Cindy ask me if I thought her mom was cute. I told the truth, her mom was cute. Then Cindy ask me if there were guys that would want to date her mom. I told her with her mom's great beauty, yes there were lots of guys that would want to date her. That is as far as I wanted to take this conversation. However Cindy wanted to go farther. She said she wanted a dad and asked me to encourage her mom to start dating. I told her this was a conversation she should be having with her mom not me. Even though I was her mom's friend, the subject of her mom dating is none of my business. Cindy told me she would be the happiest girl in the world to call me dad. Would I ask her mom for a date? I told her that her mom was 10 years older than I was and probably would want to date someone her age. I again urged Cindy to talk to her mom about this. Mothers (and others) did I handle this situation correctly and should I tell Linda about this conversation.

I have a group of best friends that really love to talk bad about me. Two of them had done it to beautiful girls behind my back and it pissed me off so I told them I would get them back! One of them, Elove, is what we'll call him, decided to try and manipulate me so I can be on his good side and not get him back. He helped me prank the other friend, B, is what we'll call him, by Saran wrapping B's car. Elove thinks he's off the hook but he's the biggest POS of pos so I really need good suggestions on getting him back!

I was at a party and the host ask me to drive Jane home as she was too drunk to drive. I agreed as I did not want her in a car accident. The host said I will call her husband and tell him you are bringing her home. When I got to her house, her husband met me a the door and would not let his wife come in the house. He said "She is not coming in this house until she sobers up". OH CRAP. What am I going to do? I can't leave her there drunk on her door step. I called the party host and ask her what I should do. She said to take her to your home and take her to her house in the morning when she was sober. I was not comfortable having a married woman sleep at my house over night. I was afraid of what her husband might do. He also seemed to me to be drunk but I didn't know what else to do so I took her home. The next morning she wanted to know how she ended up at my house and I told her. She was outraged. She said "I am not going back and live with that S.O.B. of a husband". Can I stay with you until I can find a place to stay. I told her no but I would help her find a place to stay. I was afraid of what her husband might do and/or I would get involved in a divorce case. Please tell me if I did the right thing here. Should I have let her stay with me?

My best friend just stopped talking to me and I don't really know why. We've gotten into an argument recently but it wasn't even that bad and we ended up resolving it. I feel really bad though because that same friend is my only friend that I can really talk to about my depression and other person things. Please help! I asked one of my other friends and he said that my best friend just wanted to take a break from him and I talking. I'm angry at him for not telling me or being there when I was having a mental breakdown and I needed him, because we're usually there for eachother when stuff like that happens. I live in an apartment with 2 other roommates. They always have their boyfriends over.. but a few days ago, I thought no one was home.. so I sang really really loud, talked to myself, yelled and talked to my dog, and made weird noises because the dog pooped on the floor and smelled really bad and complained about my roommates outloud.. but then.. i heard my roommate's boyfriend talk on the phone.. and i realized he was home the whole time and he probably heard everything I did and think im weird and it is so embarassing. he is nice but i am a very very very quiet person and he never heard me talk this much probably and i was just being so weird because i thought i was alone so omg i dont know this is so embarassing and worse thing is i said bad things about my roommate (his girlfriend) and i got mad about them and i dont know why i talk to myself but he heard everything probably and i feel bad and.i hope he does not tell her and im just really embarassed by this whole situation.. so i came to my parents home during thanksgiving break and im afraid i will see him when i go back and i would not know what to do.. would you think he would care? would you care if you experienced someone suddenly sing really bad and talk to themselves and talk to the dog and make weird noises ah

I'm 42 but my son is 18 and so are his friends. The other day I hung out with them watching tv and I farted a few times in front of them after some drinks. My son was embarrassed but his friends laughed. Is this odd?

My friend came into work this morning he was upset about something I asked him if he was ok he said yes I gave him a hug he wanted one. He's been really upset all day he just called me crying his eyes out I talked to him for a while he said he's gonna call back. How can I help him feel better ? What should I say to him ? This female friend of mine and me are supposed to go for lunch and then shopping and to the library in a day or two. She asked me today if we can also go on a walk that will take 10 minutes straight. I told her "I have a bad back and I don't want to go on a walk that long with my back hurting this bad." I can feel my back getting worse the more I strain it and the more I do with it. The doctor said the reason my back is bad is cuz I was sleeping on a broken bed for a year. (I sacrificed my bed problem to help my mom and dad pay for bills they didn't expect and or needed the help very much). Doctor said I needed to get a new bed as soon as possible. My friend then offered me $5 to go on the 10 minute walk straight. I told her it's not that i don't want to go, I don't want to hurt my back over it and I am trying to heal it and the more I do stuff, like bending, walking long periods, or lifting, the more my back hurts. And I told her having my back get even worse is definitely not worth $5. I'd rather have my back healed. And then my friend said, "You know what? You whine too much." I felt like she didn't care about me, didn't take any consideration to my health or my needs. (there's more to it for her to tell how she is, but I'll just stick to this particular scenario to keep this as short as possible without giving up important details)

We have the same class, she is siting in front of me. We hardly talk. When I tried to start talk or say asking for little feedback with artwork, she seems frustrating. And then, whenever I upload some images on Instagram. I got the notification. "'she' liked your photo." Almost every single images I upload. So... any reason why? Sorry for grammar.

When I'm with my friend group at school all I talk about are boys I swear I can't talk about anything else. Is this normal for a middle schooler? Sometimes I just don't know what to talk about so that leads me to talking about boys and drama. I feel like I'm annoying my friends but I'm not sure.

My class has to do a group project where we write a series of short articles in response to assigned topics. Now, I have always disliked partner/group work, and have always preferred to do projects alone. However, the teacher made it very clear that we had to do this project with a partner or group. No exceptions. So, I teamed up with a friend & we had a good discussion about the specifics of our project; this made me feel reassured that he was going to do his work. However, it s less than a week from the deadline and he hasn t done anything. I have politely asked him if he could help me do certain things, but he always seems to find a way to put it off. The project is due this Thursday, and I have written all of the articles so far. Whenever I ask him if he can help, he always says that he is going to work on the project after school, but when the time comes, he never actually does anything. I m not sure what to do about it. I already tried asking him to help me (with no success) so I feel like I ll just have to carry the load myself. But in this case, the project is being graded as a group effort, not individually. If I do everything, he will get a good grade bump for all the work I did; the thought that happening bothers me. I would tell the teacher about it, but he is a close friend of mine, so I kind of feel like I shouldn t. I have a feeling he will try to contribute at the last minute, but I don t want to rely on that hope. Any advice on how I should handle this?

I'm a girl, and I guess I got kinda used to people calling me that, but it lower my self steem, because I don't have friends and I became a little bitter. I do dress nice in a while, but I dont wear any makeup and I sometimes catch people gossip over me. I sit by myself alone in lunch and it makes depressed because I see a lot people with friends. I am so self conscious about my snoring and didn't even realize I snored until my freshman year of college when I first got a roommate. Luckily she loved me snoring and all. I still have a roommate and I still snore horribly. This roommate also puts up with me and all my snore glory. But that doesn't mean I don't hate my self for my snoring. All my family and friends joke about it and I laugh with them but then excuse myself to the bathroom to sob. This is one thing that I really can not change about my self. It's nkt like I can hit the gym, throw on some makeup, or wear flattering clothes. As soon as I close my eyes I can't help what happens. It honestly is a stab to my heart each time someone makes a comment about it and it's worse because I know that they don't mean to hurt me. I am just so sensitive about it even though I try not to be. I literally can't even have a one night stand because I am too embarrassed to sleep over at a boys house. I just don't know what to do anymore. I am scheduling an appointment with an ENT but if anyone else has any suggestions I would love to hear anything and everything
