Question: She still wants to be friends with me????? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 05:40 PM PST My name is Steven, and I was going out with this girl from work. We really liked eachother but things between us didn't last long. She ended things with me weeks later mostly because she's 29 with a daughter, and I'm only 23. Things at work were really awkward for the first couple days after the break up. But we have been talking at work like normal again, now she has a new boyfriend her same age. Someone told me she is really surprised I still talk to her, and she told someone I'm very mature. Today she added me back on Facebook, she messaged me today and she told me she still wants to be my friend because I'm a great friend. Why is she surprised I still talk to her???????? Any advice |
Question: Serious and honest answers only....would you marry somebody you don't love romantically? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 05:29 PM PST I know I want to marry my boyfriend, I just worry I may never love him romantically. I love him as a best friend because even though we're boyfriend and girlfriend, we're also best friends. I can see a future with him, raising kids together, etc. I just don't know if I see myself loving him romantically. People always say marry your best friend. Do you marry them even if you don't have romantic love for them? I have a married friend who doesn't seem to be IN love with his wife and vice versa, but they're best friends and they've referred to each other as "best friends", so I think they had a similar situation. |
Question: How can I become socially valuable? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 05:12 PM PST I need to make friends, how can I become the big cheese? |
Question: Does she really like me as a friend???? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 04:57 PM PST My name is Daniel and I was going out with this girl Breanna from work. Our relationship only lasted maybe 2 weeks. we even had a fight at the end, and everything was awkward. We see eachother at work once a week and we talk for a bit when we see eachother. but today she added me back on Facebook. She said " sorry I was such a Bit*ch I want us to stay friend, your a really good friend." ............does she really like my company??????? I'm just surprised she still wants to be friends after everything that happened!!! |
Question: Does she love the attention??????? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 04:50 PM PST I work in a hospital, and theres this secretary on my floor who works 2 times a week. But theres this guy Nick who is always around her, he comes to her desk and they could be talking for hours at a time. Even when she goes to the water room he is there with her. Soo it's obvious that he likes her. Today she said to Nick " I'm the best part of your day.," does she not get bothered or annoyed by him following her everywhere?????? Like what's going on??????? Plus she has a husband |
Posted: 11 Nov 2018 04:32 PM PST Someone who you've been to dinner a dinner a few times and you think he's serious, respectful person. Would you feel annoyed or feel flattered about it? Forget the guys perspective and what might happen. Please read the question before answering. |
Question: What does this mean? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 04:26 PM PST What does it mean when someone says I'm not going to let you push me away? |
Posted: 11 Nov 2018 04:04 PM PST The woman knows I like her. She knows I'm on vacation and that I need a physical/mental break from my job and people in general for a week. My vacation is only for 9 days. It started yesterday. She knows I'm not into talking on the phone and she's not always great at text messaging me back (too many text messages she gets or just doesn't bother to read a text or reply back). I've joked with her about being flaky. I don't want her to text her during my vacation because then she might think I'm not doing anything. I happily surprised her with birthday presents late last month. I was thinking when I see her next week that I wanted to call or text her but I just prefer actually being with her/seeing her in person. Okay, I'll take back the thumbs down. I APOLOGIZE. I've tried with her. I asked her out back this past August to a chocolate festival and to a candy exhibit. She was like, "I have work." Her and I do have different days off. She's also like, "I'm tired." She has admitted to me back in August that she liked me back because we started to flirt back in July of this year. I didn't mention to you that she's one of my direct supervisors. She started at my job back in April or May but in a different department and then moved to my department to be a supervisor. Her sister is one of my direct supervisors too and one of their male cousins is my coworkers too in the same department. Her sister who is my other direct supervisor too, is much more easier to have normal conversations with and joke with BUT her sister is married and has kids. I'm NOT attracted to her sister BUT it is weird that I'm able to talk better with her sister. |

Question: I want friends but when I make new ones I get exhausted and want space. What do I do? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 02:43 PM PST It's a weird cycle of being lonely, making friends, then not wanting friends anymore. I find that when I make really good friends I feel like they get too attached and I just want space from them. And the people that I like the most are the ones that are clearly not that interested in me. like as in, want to hang out with |
Posted: 11 Nov 2018 02:03 PM PST Because he said he wanna twist someone penis and said who got the strongest penis in the school and said who got the biggest penis in the school? |
Posted: 11 Nov 2018 01:56 PM PST I call everyone "life forms" and "organisms" and my parents "parent units." I also don't believe in names. I'm also the only one in school who is actually interested in the topics (even more than the teachers) and I hate communicating in small groups (I prefer a larger audience) and do not wish to become "friends" with anyone, nor fit in. I'm just wondering if this is considered "weird." Edit: I considered that I might have autism, but my parent units don't believe in mental disabilities, and won't get me a professional. But I seriously might since for the past 2 years, every second of everyday I've been obsessed with exponential functions. |
Question: What do I do? Do I stay at my current school or do I switch to be with my best friend? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 01:42 PM PST My best friends parents got recently split and my friend is gonna be switching schools soon! She told me that her and her mom agreed to sign me up at the school once she transferrs but as of recently, I've been thinking...Is it really worth it ? Like ,me switching over into a completely new environment just to be with someone? Kinda seems dumb , but at the same time I wanna be with her because I'm reaity she's the only person I have at school. What do I do? |
Question: Why do friends stop being friends? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 01:34 PM PST When I was 13 I started losing interest in talking to my only friend who I knew since I was 6. I felt insecure because she was social and had many other friends and I was quiet and serious and sometimes she wouldn't talk to me. I would isolate myself :/. I eventually talked to someone else and they became more important. When we went to high school freshman year I talked to my new friend only. I didn't talk to my childhood friend at all anymore. I would see her in the halls but we didn't talk She came up to me really hyper after school saying hey! In front of all her other friends. I felt uncomfortable so I didn't say much and kept walking home. She got a boyfriend and then he cheated on her and I saw her crying in the hall surrounded by her friends. Then sophomore year I heard that she lost all her friends idk why but I would just hear bad things coming from her friends mouths. She got a new boyfriend and only talked to him and HIS friends. All I knew was he was a senior when we were sophomores. That's all I knew. Then one day i found out she died :( and a week before she died I saw her in detention and I didn't say anything to her. She had just lost all her friends and I still didn't show her I could have been there for her :( I only found out after she died that her boyfriend was into drugs and got her into drugs and she died. |
Question: My friend’s mom always cancels things last second? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 12:35 PM PST My friend's mom ALWAYS cancels things last second. The most recent example is tonight my friend's brother is having a party (they're in grade 12 and me and my friend are in grade 10) and I was invited. But now last minute she's saying I can't go because she thinks I'm gonna do bad things with my friend even though she's gonna be there. I don't even know why she would think that because I've never done anything bad with him. But of course she allows his brother's friend to go even though they've been caught drinking multiple times. Another quick example is when we were gonna go to six flags this summer but they cancelled last second. I don't know how to deal with stupid shot like this anymore. What should I do? |
Question: If you haven’t talked to a person in weeks, would you consider them a friend? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 11:32 AM PST I understand people are busy. And I know this answer can vary by age. But let's say you are a young adult (18-21). I get people have lives and have other obligations. But, if you consider that person a friend and you haven't heard from them in weeks on weeks, are they really a friend? Or, just an acquaintance? |
Question: Why is my best friend repeating my name under her breath? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 11:06 AM PST My best friend and I were baby sitting her siblings, and my best friend said that she had to leave the room for a minute. I sat there with her siblings doing some stuff that typical boys do these days. I decided to look for my best friend, and overheard her in her room saying my name over and over. Is she mad mad at me for some reason? |
Question: Would you find this situation odd? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 10:39 AM PST I have a married friend who I'm not super close to, but we have a bond. We've known each other for 2 years. I don't currently have a license, as it's suspended, so I have to get rides to and from work. Also, I have a boyfriend, but he doesn't live or work close by and he injured his foot, so he's been trying to stay off of it and driving as little as possible. Well, Friday evening, my married friend gave me a ride home from work. It was night time and when we got to my house, we sat in the car in my driveway for about 15-20 minutes, talking and listening to soft music. We talked about work, we talked about how he got a free tv recently, we talked about his son's friend and the kid's dad who recently passed away, etc. There was a tiny bit of innocent flirting, but not much. We go to the same church and my boyfriend and I went to church together this morning. My friend sat (without his wife, as she teaches in the kids ministry most of the time) diagonally from us. The whole time, he didn't say a word to us or acknowledge us. As we were all getting up to leave, I thought for sure he'd say something to us, but he didn't even look at me and just kept walking. What would you think if you were me, that he didn't even acknowledge us after spending half an hour talking with me Friday evening? I should mention he's happily married and has morals and I know his wife and family and we love each other to death. I messaged him saying he was quiet today and asked if he was okay and he said yeah. Cabs aren't free, bro. We both have good morals, so you're wrong there. |
Question: What are funny nutshot games? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 10:24 AM PST Good challenges to play, for ex. Most hits, rock paper balls, ex.. |
Question: Are they crazy? What wrong with them? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 07:55 AM PST I'm 18 years old and I moved to my university a month and a few weeks ago. Since then I live in a dormitory. We're four people in my room. At the beginning, I found my roommates really good girls. They offered me to change my room and come and live with them, since I had no roommates in my previous room and as I felt alone, I accepted their request. I don't know what happened that they suddenly started getting away from me. Now, they don't even tell me that they're going outside to have a lunch. They never ask me to hang out with them. I tried to talk to them about this a few times and they said that they have no problems with me. I tried to be nice to them as much as possible. I even washed their dishes for them, but they didn't even say "Thank you" to me. When I ask them if I can use their spices to cook, they look at me in a way like I want to commit a crime! One night, I took one of them to the hospital, because she felt extremely ill. Now, she says that she finds me a harsh and emotionless person. Do I really deserve such attitudes towards myself??? I'm a female and a human just like them. If they continue behaving like this, I'll surely get mad at them. I can't change my room for at least 2-3 months, because of the stupid rules of the dormitory. How can I stand this situation? Everyday I go to the library and I stay there for hours, so that I won't have to interact with my ungrateful roommates. |
Question: I feel depressed about my former best friend? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 07:37 AM PST So back in the start of high school, I used to be best friends with this really funny, outgoing She saved me from bullying. But after a while we parted because she started to take advanced classes and we no longer had classes anymore and we didnt get breaks, only lunch breaks. Anyways that was like four years ago and sometimes I'll see her at Walmart, or the Dollar General. I dont say anything, because it feels awkward and I basically dont know her anymore because it's been so long. I just wish so badly I could o back to those times when we were laughing out butts off together. How can I stop feeling depressed about this? |
Posted: 11 Nov 2018 06:58 AM PST then I will have no friends as in that office, people are not friendly. What should I do? Should I feel unwell and be with friends or be peaceful without friernds? |
Question: Why do I let my happiness depend to others? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 06:03 AM PST Like, I have a friend with is in a collage with bad conditions while I'm in one with good conditions(its private) and when an other friend asked us the difference my friend said: "they re the same with bad conditions" But I have a problem with this. Its like she's wanting to lower me or sth like that. And now I keep thinking about that. Do I exxagerate? With everyone that says me sth bad, I do the same thinking about it and spending my time in this way. |
Question: What is wrong with my best friend :(? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 02:31 AM PST There is something I need to talk about. So I've known this friend for 6 years now. In the beginning (6 years ago) I looked quite nerdy and all and she complimented me every single day like "omg you're so pretty etc.." Now I have really changed.. I wear make-up and contacts now and I do get a lot of compliments from other people. My best friend has always been insecure about herself and so have I. But I feel like whenever I get a compliment she kinda looks sad and looks down. Also one day when we were in a museum I wanted to take a selfie of both of us.. but she became super angry and litteraly said "yeah it's easy for you to take photos, because you slay and I look like a rat". I was shocked and really hurt bcs I never thought she thought that way. A few days back I was really excited for a some trousers that I bought.. so I went to her and just said "look at my new trousers" (because I was really excited) and she replied in a really dull way "yeah they are nice". But whenever some random girl passes by she always says "omg she has great style". Like why does she compliment other girls all the time but she acts this way when she is around me? Why is she so sad when someone compliments me? |
Question: This girl is acting really nice to me but she has a boyfriend? Posted: 11 Nov 2018 01:08 AM PST In my college class, this girl started talking to me in the beginning of the semester. She talks to a few people around her during class, but not nearly as much as me. The first time we ever talked, she went up to me and said she liked my shirt, and we ended up actually having a really nice convo and stuff before class, and every day of class we always end up talking at least for a little bit, as well as during class as well. Since I don't drive yet, but she does, she also mentioned that she wouldn't mind bringing me/picking me up to and from where I needed to go, and this was also around the beginning of the semester as well. Today she asked for my phone number, so we talked more, and she again said she would definitely bring me to school/to home or something if I needed a ride. I mean, she has a boyfriend, but I just am really confused as to why she's been acting so nice to me straight from the beginning, and she always seems to initiate a convo with me as well. Some people are nice, I know, but she just seems overly overly nice. I mean, we didn't talk as much in the beginning of the semester and even then she was totally fine with taking the time out of her day to drop me off places? |
Question: Should I end this friendship? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 09:58 PM PST Lately, I've really wanted to end my friendship with my friend (let's call her Shelly). I give her a ride home everyday and I also do a lot of other things for her, like telling her "happy birthday" on her birthday and getting her a gift and listening to her boyfriend troubles and just being there for her in general. I'm really sick and tired of being on the giving end, and I wish she would contribute to the friendship more in some way. It's not like she's manipulating me; she's very naïve, actually, so it doesn't seem like she is taking advantage of me. Plus, I haven't done anything for her that's SUPER big or extravagant, but I just feel like I'm the only one that's really doing anything for our friendship. I guess what I'm trying to say that if she was really my friend, I wish she would show it through her ACTIONS instead of just saying "you're my best friend!" and calling me the only tolerable person at school. When she says that, it really bugs me because then she turns around and calls someone else her best friend and even has a picture of her and this other girl as her Instagram profile picture! I just wish that she would be MY "best friend" in return and be loyal and caring, for once! I don't know what to do; do you think I should end the friendship I have with her? Probably sounds like a lot of drama, but I'm really frustrated and need some advice. Thank you! |
Question: What should I make of this woman? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 09:27 PM PST Ok so occasionally this woman and i text. Now while she said I'm nice looking but she's not interested, she still wants to hangout with me. She's been giving me life advice (ie-where i should look for work based on my interests, some basic dating advice that sort of thing). Is she just being nice and wanting to be my friend? It just seems like she's taking an interest in me considering she's not into me. |
Question: I have no friends :(? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 09:06 PM PST I have no close friends and it s really starting to get to me. Of course I feel lonely but I m always making sure I m caring for people. Showing them I m a good person and willing to do things that make them feel special but no one includes me in anything. (Honestly so depressing I know) I m not entirely sure what s wrong with me. I m never invited anywhere and people that I ve done so much for make plans and get together without me. My theory of it is I m gay and since I m a guy I don t fit in anywhere so like that s cool I guess? (Not really haha) Of COURSE it hurts a bit but I don t let myself get too worked up over it and just move on. But having no friends really does suck and sometimes I just have those nights where I just go through it because I m all reality ... I ain t got no one to talk to about my problems and it s really starting to take a toll on me mentally (probably going to seek a therapist bc I need someone to talk to you know?) What could possibly be wrong with me that makes me like this? What do I have to change? I try not to be too annoying I try to be a great person actually. I just think it's who I am and I'm born not to fit in or some dumb stiffness like that idk but... |

Question: My roommates/friends are rude and mean? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 08:32 PM PST Hey I recently moved to New York from Georgia for volunteer service for a year. I get paid a low stipend but it's great work for the community of Hispanic people. I recently received my masters in public administration. So I hope to find a professional position soon. Well the point of this post is that....my roommates/friends are very rude and mean. They make fun of my accent and upbringing. One of my friends said I didn't know how to read. They make fun of me for not knowing certain food dishes. They consistently underestimate me and make it seem like I am unintelligent. I don't know everything but at least treat me with respect. I put up with it because I can't afford to live on my own. Which I would prefer to do. I may move back to Georgia because I can't take the people here in New York. Being around unfamiliar things isn't great. I thought my friends would make it better. But I again, I have to dea with this because I don't have anywhere else to go but back to my hometown. |
Question: Last embarrassing thing you did? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 08:32 PM PST What was the last embarrassing/funny thing that happened to you or did to yourself? |
Question: Need a better life.? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 08:25 PM PST I'm a 18 year old male senior student in high school and not even a full week ago I got cheated on and I'm still trying to get over it. On top of that I needed people to help me with the situation and nobody helped really, fake friends maybe? I mean they knew about it and didn't bother to help. Anways I'm supposed to be getting a job soon. I want to change. Now that my "girlfriend" isn't here I don't even feel like I have much going for me. What should I do to find happiness again? I'm not even sure what I want. Maybe after some time a new girl and new real friends I guess.... I don't know. Now that she's gone I don't even seen how I was semi happy before because I don't do much. I go to school and come home.... and play video games. Yeah it's lame, but I WANT to change. |
Question: Do you have boring adult friends? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 08:22 PM PST Do you have those friends who are just soo boring and never want to do anything except sit around? |
Question: How can I come to appreciate the car I have? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 08:21 PM PST So I got new car a few months ago, and I'm 22, but my friends have way nicer cars than me. They have new cars from BMW and Lexus. Their sports cars are worth $50,000 and up. I mean, I have a good car too, but mine is nothing compared to what they have at my age. I don't even want to bring my car to car meets because of this. |
Question: Do you ever? (laughing)? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 08:18 PM PST Do ever just want to burst out laughing about nothing in particular. You just think something is kind of funny and you just start wheezing cause you're alone or people are near but you don't want them to think you're crazy? |

Question: What's wrong with my friend ? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 07:43 PM PST My girlfriend's brother is gay he said he had sex with his partner he said it hurt he came crying to me about it. His partner is also the drummer for our band he's the lead singer if someone in our band is gay like they are we don't say boyfriend or girlfriend we use partner which is what I hear most rock bands use it makes it sound more professional anyway he didn't say it was his first time or not but I take it it was. He can't get over it he said it still hurts. In a way I think he's being a kind of a pansy but in another way I feel bad for him because he is my best friend I hate to see him this way. What's wrong with him ? How can I help him feel better ? |

Posted: 10 Nov 2018 07:03 PM PST I m at my friend s 14th birthday, and I just had a bad anxiety attack in the bathroom. One of the girls knows, but the others likely think I m trying to cause some drama. It s 10pm now and I m not sure if I should leave. I m really drained right now, but I don t want to seem like a baby, because then I ll have issues at school. The girl who found me having the attack hasn t told anyone where I was, and she was really nice, but the other four girls aren t. Two of them are talking ****, and the other two (the ones I m closest to) are ignoring me. Should I ride it out until 12 tomorrow, leave early in the morning, or call my motherright now at 10? |
