I've never had more than one friend and since highschool I've had none. My only friend through school was my cousin who only hung out with me out of pitty. Posted: 03 Mar 2016 07:42 PM PST So I have known this girl since last october and we have been friends since then, although we have gotten quite close over the last two months so she told me that she was really shy/awkward kind of like me but after we started talking we get along really well since we have a lot in common and can talk and talk with one another for ages. So she is really giggly around me, well used to be and she would pretty much laugh at all my jokes whether they were funny or not, a little more about that later. When we hang out she would always get nervous, bite on her nails,play with her hair, necklace and smile when i teased her or touched her and she teases me back so!etimes as well? So over the last two weeks she has been acting strange. She won't make eye contact like she used to and looks around until I don't look at her which is when she starts staring at me again and if i try making eye comtact again she looks away. She also seems a lot more serious around me, i.e she doesnt laugh as much as she used to, although it seems like she is trying not to because i still know ehat to say/do to make her smile and or laugh just that she is a lot less like she used to be. So much so that she would always turn to the classroom entrance to see if I was coming. She was with a friend one day at the school lobby and she kept looking at me and out of nowhere they both ran away giggling. The thing that throws me off is she will act like she does not see or has a serious face when we see each other. The last couple of semester we did not had any classes but we would see each other in the hallways. I got out of the bathroom and and I turn and saw her. I talked on here before about how I got mixed signals from her, and how I wasn't sure exactly how she felt about me. Well just now this morning, after ignoring her for 4 days, I confronted her and told her how she led me on and made me think she liked me as more than a friend, and then she thought I was yelling at her, but I said no, that she hurt me, and then she said I'm sorry, then I said, "see look how you said sorry, there wasn't a shred of empathy in your voice", then she said, "I just woke up this morning", then I asked what that had to do with anything? Then I called her out on how she flirts with guys left and right, and while this was happening, she tried to get a couple other guys involved in what we were saying. Then I basically said that I wasn't here to yell at her, I was simply there to point out that what she did wasn't cool, and then she said, "OK, I'm sorry for liking you", which was obviously a fake apology. I had to confront her about this, and ultimately it gave me some closure. If I were some asshole, I woulda cussed her out and humiliated her in front of people, but I'm not that kind of person. I just calmly but confidently said what I needed to say. So question is, was it worth it to confront her in the end? Because while I'm proud of myself for doing that, I don't think what I said affected her in anyway, cause it seems that she's not fully aware that she flirts with guys a lot. |

Now he hasn t responded, which is unlike him because he usually texts me multiple times even if he hasn t heard from me. I really like this guy. Should I text him, or should I take this as he wants space? And if he says he needs to figure things out, does that mean he isn t interested because if he was, he would already know? This has been on my mind a lot lately, and I would appreciate any input. Thanks! |

Posted: 03 Mar 2016 07:13 PM PST Me and this guy used to have a lot of classes together and we used to talk a lot because of our classes and we both liked eachother it was pretty clear people could tell but than we got new schedules and we don't have a single class and we barely see eachother. When ever he sees me he either touches me and says hi or if he sees me from far away he will say my name loudly just so I acknowledge him. I hope he likes me still cuz I was scared that it would fizzle out when we didn't see eachother. Is he making an effort to keep our friendship ? |
