Guys around me all seem to be douchebag jocks who have no trouble with girls at all. I'm good looking(so people tell me) and I get good grades but I'd trade in my intelligence to have girls throw themselves at me without having to lift a finger. Despite my fears of social interactions, I make attempts to be friendly and talk to others but I'm still friendless, girlfriendless and alone. I want to either just die or run away and make a new life for myself. I pray every night that God would give me a group of friends but he clearly has no intention to answer my prayer and I just wish he would end my miserable, lonely existence. I run track but that's pretty much all I have going for me as I had to quit football because of my concussions. What do I do? She gets mad at me for no reason at all when all I m doing is trying to help or trying to solve a problem. I get straight A s while she gets A s and B s which isn t bad either. But She asked to copy my homework once so I let her, then another time, and another. Now she consistently asks to copy my homework and won t stop asking and bugging and pushing until I let her copy. Last time I hung out with her she put on these shoes that really hurt if you got kicked by them, and while I was laying on the floor watching a movie she kicked me, and kept kicking me and she s a soccer player so it hurt like hell. When I tried to get her to stop and says" ohhh that really hurt" sacastically. Then she ll kick me again harder. I m not sure if she s my best friend anymore, she s a good friend and has always been there for me but lately she s been very hostile not just towards me but everyone. |

I used to be a straight A student but now I have 2 B's. I still have 2 months to fix it but it gets farther each time I take a test. Socially, I have friends but no best friends. There's no one I can share my feelings to including my family. I keep losing leadership positions because everyone votes for the one who is most likely not going to win. I told everyone I was good at swimming but I got humiliated at the tryouts, the person I lost to bragged a lot too. I feel horrible. Sometimes people don't acknowledge me because I'm quiet and they don't know me. My family is supportive and kind but I'm embarrassed to share my feelings. But then after that she would go back to bullying me and telling other people I was s lesbian (which I'm not ) and made a fake Instagram trying to be me and talking to guys? I was friends with this girl since I was 5 years old and one day she just went ******* off the rails on me? And she still continues to do this till this ******* day she told a girl I called her a bad mother ? Give or take when we were pals when we were little I was kind of an ugly kid (I had really ****** up teeth like horrifying teeth and didn't really bathe that often as a child) and I got some what average looking around my sophomore year but I don't think it's that normal to flip out on someone like that ? |

So long story short, both of my parents don t really have a common group of people they know in the area we live. My mom has some family, but I would consider them anti social. I ve always been jealous of my friends who are always having people over at their houses (their parents friends, church groups, etc.), and that s never been the case for my house. I feel like my friends have had a huge advantage growing up, because their parents all were known by people in the community, which made making friends and just knowing more people in general easier. I say all of this to ask if there are others who feel this same way, and who have experienced something similar. Thanks |

He tells me things he claims he doesn't usually tell anyone and we maintain eye contact. I even catch him staring at me while in class. When others are around he does not try to talk to me, but I do see him look at me every now and then. It is as if I am not really there to him at times with others. Although if I asked him something his answer will be short and simple. Why am I dealing with two different personalities here? |

The rest of my family is tall, however, so we think it has to something with heredity from a while down. My mom is at least 5'11". Anyways whenever she picks me up and other people see the height difference they always make fun of me about my height compared to my mom. Especially when she picks me up from work, she's wearing several huge heels. I asked her how tall they were and she said 8 inches. That makes her at least 6'7" while I'm 5'3". I don't think for her to stop wearing them would do anything since she's 8 inches taller than me anyways. So what can I do? |

But lately I feel I need to either move on or change the conversation . Most of her emails are rants about how miserable she is since moving in with some man, yet she refuses to move back into her own house, which is completely available to her. She cries poverty, saying she has very little to eat and can't even go to a movie, yet has no problem spending $250 a WEEK on clothes & shoes. She complains she's fat, yet does nothing to change it. She complains she needs to get a divorce, yet has one excuse after another for not pursuing it. Most of the emails now include random photos of other women, and she compares herself, saying how much prettier she is (she's not all that). I don't mind venting a little or gossiping now & then because I do it myself, but with her it's an ALL DAY event. I've tried to offer interesting topics - business ideas, taking online classes, health & wellness, etc but she pretty much ignores that. Once a week, her boyfriend takes her out, so she's happy for a day or two, then the cycle of emotional misery will continue. And naturally she swears she has no money for anything positive that would change her life, yet that same day she'll spend a hundred or so on clothes & shoes. I like having a friend, but how do I change the course of these conversations? If that's even possible, |

Posted: 08 Mar 2016 12:18 PM PST i am not much social. i have just two clse friends who u guys might call best friends 4ever. all of us usually hangout together. we mean no harm to each other. we joke about each other but not right in front. i usually don't joke about anyone much. it's not usual for them but recently about a week, they've started excessively teasing me. whenever we are going to go for hangout, they 'threaten' me saying stuff like 'today we will... hehe...'. they don't mean me any physical harm. they tease me of my activities, my habits, my appearance, they make funny stories, 'sexual' stories about me. first few days i thought it was nothing, we do joke about each other. but now it's seriously bugging me really hard. i don't overwhelmingly tease anyone and don't wanna be done either. they've pushed it too far and i ended up slapping one. he wore glasses and i slapped him so hard that one of the lenses got loose. ikr, it was a childish behavior but i just couldn't bear it. he told something like 'if i slap you, you will not wake up for days' and i replied 'trying not to piss me off is better than making me your punching bag'. look guys, I don't know if I'm arrogant or something, but they ARE like my brothers. plz tell me how to counter their teasing and how to be with them. We grew up together, went to the same schools since childhood and always have even close. Although I do love my friend very much I am finally starting to realize the kind of person she is and her true colors. Long story short, when I was in grammar school she would bully me, call me ugly, and talk behind my back to other people. She has always made me feel like ****, like she's better. I have forgave her countless times ( because grammar school teenagers can go through a mean phase ) she has done a lot worse to me, bomb my house with eggs ( when we were 12 ) and have sexual relations with an ex of mine ( when we were 16-17) these are things I have forgiven her for, my mom has never liked her and always warned me about her negative energy. Many of her friends from elementary or high school do not keep in contact with her no longer because of her attitude. Flash froward to now ( we are 21 ) . Recently she had gone through a traumatic experience where she was drugged and raped. She says she doesn't remember a thing and chooses not to press charges. I was there for her throughout the bad times, and never left her side while she was healing. Right now, all she does is party everyday and get drunk. And only calls me when she wants to talk about herself, and her love life and it's all about her. I know she has gone through a bad time, but I no longer want to be friends. What do I do? |

This is what I have come to realize over the past month, and I just cannot stay in this friendship, especially since we're both graduating in three months. The problem is, she calls me her closest friend in the world and that I mean the most to her and that she cares about no one but me and her boyfriend and she wants me in her life forever. And I just sit there.. And I do not feel the same. She keeps calling and texting and I just want to slowly get out of this friendship. Does anyone have any tips? I want to hurt her as little as possible but at the same time try to be around her as little as possible, which is hard because we have mutual friends (who all also have issues with her because of her narcissism) and we go to dinners together, etc, but I just want us to have as little communication as possible. I started feb 14th and it ended about 4 to 5 days later normal flow. Well it said my expected ovulation day was 3-1-16 well we had sex two days prior to that. The day after ovulation i had pink light and brownish bleeding and my boobs were itchy for the one day. My boobs seem really veiny now to and the white bumps around my nipples seem bigger .l also had a bad lower back paid that one time. The light bleeding was off and on for three days then it stopped completely. Never red. During that time i was also having small cramping. Well a few days later i felt like i would die if i didnt something bbq. Still small cramps off and on. Then i didnt really crave anything after that one time. I been feeling really off lately and weird.also gassy off and on. I barely felt like i had to pee yesterday and i ended up peeing myself. Very embarrassing thankfully happened at home. | Question: Why do i feel like im the only good person? Posted: 08 Mar 2016 10:54 AM PST I'm in high school and every friend i had since i was a kid has only used me and threw me out and actually despise me. I really want a good friend and people just dont even know what kind of a friend i could be. I would literally be the best friend on this planet. Think of your best friend and I'll top him in seconds. I'm really smart as people use me for that and I'm funny and sociable and understanding and i really want to help someone and be the best thing that's ever happened to them and i feel like people today are mean and dont really care for you. I really want a genuine and good friend who's a fantastic person and it seems very hard to find someone who fits that profile where I'm from. What can i do and do you know anyone who is like that, because its hard to find these days. |

Posted: 08 Mar 2016 10:50 AM PST Okay before you berate me for being a terrible friend.. ive stopped one from committing suicide and helped the others when they were extremely depressed... it just seems things get better for them, and I'm happy..i really am..but I feel bad bc the same isn't happening for me. I'm trying..but I'm behind the 8 ball... like my friend got an amazing job that's very relaxed and easy, and when I pray/apply for a simple dishwashing job, I get something totally different that I cannot do (I don't multitask well, ive tried and it didn't work out) and now my friend met a cute guy and I'm 24 and haven't been on a date or even had a boyfriend... the only guy I was with, was just a one night stand type of thing and it was horrible... anyway I really just want to cut them off bc its hard to see others succeed while your still struggleing..and I always have this fear that i'll lose them as friends..once they get really successful..theyll get too busy and we stop talking or they'll settle down with kids and what not... it wuld just be so painful..bc I helped them through theyre worst situation and after they made it to the otherside..im still at the bottom struggling...and alone... I really wanna cut ties with them..bc I'm afraid of this very thing happening... I feel id be alone either way... advice please |

On their birthdays I went out of my way to send them messages and call them to make them feel special and remembered. I am wondering why they didn't even wish me a happy birthday when they can clearly see it was my birthday through Facebook. |

I want to have someone, who I can call a friend or family. The only person, who cared about me in my family was my mother, but she's gone now. My father doesn't seem to understand me at all and my brother is angry all the time. I go to school and I'm in a class with 30 other people. I tried to be friends with someone, but they seem to avoid me for some reason. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've never offended them or been angry with them. During my entire high school experience everybody has hated her. As time went on I also find myself debating whether or not to remain friends with her, not because of what everyone else thinks, but because I find that she is not great to be around. She's over dramatic, she lies a lot to make her self look good, and twists every story to make herself the victim. She's also rude to other people. However, when I was going through a hard time, she was there for me and she's also very funny. I want things to change bc I find it hard to be around her most times but I feel guilty because she has no other friends. How do I talk to her about changing? |

Others in the family knew what was happening but I did not. I was very upset. I stayed calm when I finally talked to her but I told her I was bummed I didn't know where she was during those days. She was unconcerned. Am I blowing things out of proportion? My heart was hurt that she thought so little of me to get the word to me. She was able to talk on the phone after day 2 and she is now home. |

My other roommates were terrible and these girls are nice and really want me to live with them. Right now my living situation sucks, these local kids have been trying to break into my house all the time. I got into a fight with two of them one night and had to take another kid down another night. Thankfully I have been lifting lots of weights because these guys are stupid. I had sex with one of the girls once we are still friends but recently she has been texting me more since she broke up with her boyfriend lol I just want to get away from all the violence and home invasions. It happens almost every night and some of these kids are armed is scary. The police know what is going on but they are ******* and don't deal with the vigilantes running around stealing **** with the .45 they found off the street corner. I want to move, I don't want guns being drawn on me by kids younger than 18 and I don't want people climbing in my windows to trying to steal my money. Its bullshit. Is it a good idea to move in with these girls? They say I really should move in with them. They are nice and look good and I will live in a nice neighborhood. |

| Posted: 08 Mar 2016 08:08 AM PST he didn't do anything wrong. his personality is amazing and he might be my first best friend and i'm his first too. it's just that he asks me when do i get home, and if i got late texting him even a couple of hours he asks about it and such. i don't know what to tell him. we started texting each other only a month ago, but we talked about so much things, and he keeps saying that he wants us to talk more. it's irritating. yesterday when i got home i didn't text him and after a couple of hours when i said hi, and texted without emojis that i usually put, he said that it seems that i'm busy and he's going to talk to me later, though i told him that it's just i'm feeling really very tired. today i didn't text him and he said this:thank you. that's not something new, everyone does the same to me. if i did something wrong i hope you tell me. you know, i really want to know why do you all trick me with these friendship games that i've always dreamed of, and then you destroy it all. did someone send you to take revenge? you know, i was very happy talking to you and saying things that makes us happy, but do you know how much pain do i feel when i know that you always open your facebook account and keep commenting and posting with a laugh, ignoring your best friend's text? i guess that it's my fate that says i'm never gonna be happy. sorry for the long talk that you don't even care of. goodbye. i asked what makes you think that way.and i'm waiting for his respond. any advice please? |

Hes had girlfriends after but I am not sure how far he has ever gone. I do know however that he is a virgin still ( three years after our encounter) and believes I should be his first. It's flattering but I wouldn't feel right since it is supposed to be special and I know that a relationship with me might not be what he wants. He says he loves me and wants to be with me but I think this is all on a sexual level. We have crazy chemistry together, and he does get me going. But we would be incompatible in a relationship, I just really need him to see past this lust and realize it. He's really short tempered like a fuse, he is hotheaded, snarky and is moody. I won't give a lot of details on this since he doesn't like to talk about his emotions, but I think he harms himself. He is insecure, even in our friendship he's insecure that I am closer to another friend than him. He spazzed on me once because he called late and I asked who it was. I get that it sounds like it is best I just leave him alone but I .seriously afraid to do so. If I don't speak to him in a few days, I really worry that something bad has happened to him or he has done something bad. He is the type of person that trouble looms over. But I know this isn't him all the time. . He does have a sweet and caring side. Those that he holds close to him, he would go through extreme lengths to make happy. I am glad to be one of them, but I think he needs to grow up a bit more. I'm off topic here, how can I just rid him of this lust and get my friend back?? I think all he really needs is a person that would be there for him unconditionally |
