I grabbed the items I needed and headed to the self checkout as I always do. As I finished I walked past this girl sitting on the bench and walked out the door. I didn't think much of the girl at the time. I walked across the Walmart parking lot to the Mc Donalds to get something eat. I was sitting down eating my food. When I saw the girl that was sitting on the bench with a tray of food in hand. She was about to sit at the table right next to me, but I gave her a weird look. The only reason I looked at her that way is because I just saw her and I thought she followed me but I cant confirm that. There were plenty of other tables to sit at. So I don't see why she chose the one right next me. I am wondering if she followed me of if it was just a concidence...? |

I model for an agency and I've been doing a lot of things on my own and supporting myself and a boyfriend but he walked all over me and mentally abused me into staying with him. He even put his hands on me. but I built up the strength to leave. I never thought I'd be a victim of abuse from a man. I'm torn and I just want to be respected and loved by someone who is as genuine and kind as me. |

I asked her to my date party last week and of course she said yes. We both don't really know what we want in terms of a relationship so we've both kinda just rolled with it. Friday night at our party she went home and slept with a different person in my fraternity (he literally lives down the hall from me). We talked about it the next day for like 2 hrs and she literally had no explanation or definite reason as to why she did it. She said she doesn't like the other person at all and knows he doesn't care about her. She was just was really apologetic and felt really Bad and kept saying that she'd do anything for me, the last thing she wants is for me to be upset blah blah. I've pretty much decided I can't Take her to my DP now but should I give her another chance? There was a girl in there that seemed to be a really cool person. Upon arriving on campus I wanted to meet her. I saw her a couple of times in person but I was too shy to approach her. However, in early November I really pushed myself to go up to her and talk to her and finally I did it. We hit it off very well. We had a long talk about the midterm elections and our foreign language classes and I developed a crush on her. She was beautiful, cool, and we were on the same page politically. I saw her again on Tuesday and we talked and our conversation seemed to be a repeat of our first. But the next day she invited me to attend a club meeting with her and I went to it and I talked to her on the way back to our dorms and that was the last time I have seen her. The problem is that she is going to spend the entirety of next semester in London and I want to tell her how I feel before she goes away. But I don't feel that we have a very strong chemistry and I wouldn't even consider us friends yet. Our conversations seem to be very shallow and I haven't really gotten to know her yet so I really don't think that telling her my true feelings will work out, unless she has a secret crush on me. What should I do? There's less than a month left of the semester? I want to at the very least make a good impression on her before she leaves. |

It's not something I want to keep doing for many years. I'm trying to save my money and bars and drinking can be a waste of money. All I do for hobbies now is working out and playing basketball. I work nights so I can't do much stuff in the evening. I don't have many friends here. I would go out to bars to meet people at bars liked going to. I used to play poker tournaments and I can't do that anymore because of work. I just work out play b-ball, watch movies, watch shows, online chatting. Right now my life is boring if I really decide to quit going out. I don't have much for responsibilities. She has been throwing herself at me and doing everything she can to get my attention. She butts into my conversations to talk to me then hovers around me and approaches me with her friend. Her friends tease her about me and been pushing me to her. She's been showing ever signal of wanting to be asked out and openly flirting and like making her crush painfully obvious. I did not give her attention at first I've been aloof and she did something that is impossible to ignore to catch my attention and took it as encouragement I resounded. She'll get in my face to talk to me and tries to get as close as possible to me. She stares at me every opportunity she can when I am not. looking. She has been trying to get my attention online and off-line. Literally one of her friends became my friend and tries to get us around each other and her friends help her talk to me and approach me. This girl tries to impress me and validate herself as a dating partner and pretends to be this person she isn't. She seems to grow to resent me because I don't do anything or make a move. |

Long story short, she was in an abusive relationship a year ago that she escaped and fled to a different state. We met, and started talking then ended up dating, and I knew going in the relationship of what she had been through since she told me. I took the chance. We had our fair share of arguments and quickly resolved it by communicating, up until recently. For the past week, there is always an argument, continuing into today. She's telling me she is depressed and doesn't know why. Every little thing makes her have an emotional outburst and when I try to tell her that we will get through this, I get told that I don't understand what she is going through and no one in the world can help her. The week long arguments consists of just lashing out at me of things I did that made her sad months ago, not knowing when to stop and lashing out at me like i'm a punching bag over things that she feels, and always trying to start an argument then blaming me for my reaction. Her biggest issue is worrying if i'm mad or irritated. I try my best to not get irritated, but when i'm just sitting down and get yelled at for 20 minutes straight over something she feels about, it's hard not to be frustrated. So how would I deal and help her going through her depression, Or is there a point to where I would have to cut the relationship and move on before it negatively affects me? |
