Posted: 07 Dec 2018 09:18 PM PST I am currently in possession of my child per divorce papers on my visitation weekend. Turns out her mother is on her way out of the country for up to a week. I was uninformed prior to her leaving. Considering she is going to be gone and unable to pick her up at the end of the visitation period am I required to turn her over to a non custodial spouse? |
Question: When do you give up on your marriage? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 09:07 PM PST My husband is literally driving me into severe depression and anxiety. We have a 2 yr old together and have been the only 1 caring for him. My husband will not watch him or even play a him. Instead he sleeps all day or plays video games. Since our marriage started, there has always been an issue- his drinking, suboxone addiction, anger issues. His newest issue is working. Previously he had a job he took for granted. Lied on his time card, drank at work, called in all the time. He was fired and now can t seem to hold a job still after 11months. He ll stay a week or 2 then quit or find a way to get fired. Recently he finally got offered an amazing job- excellent money, wonderful schedule, benefits- and they had no issue a his felony conviction. He quit his 2nd day bc it was too much on his body. He was packing boxes for a medical supply company. I ve tried to be patient but he shows no regard for bills or how we will survive. I take care of us in all aspects while he sleeps his days away. I work 60hrs a week and am working towards my degree online for psychology all while being a fulltime parent. I even have to being my son to work with my daily. I m emotionally exhausted. When is it time to quit on a marriage? |
Question: Getting a divorce in Ga? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 09:04 PM PST I want to get a divorce in Georgia (USA), but I want to know how the divorce process is. I'm sure my ex will agree with the divorce and I've been separated from him for 8 months and live 14 hours away from him. We do have a child together so what do I put in the divorce papers to make sure I see her? He has use her against me multiple times so I can get back with him. He always telling me I won't see her unless I be with him. I don't care about him or the lack of money he does has. I only want to see my daughter on a daily bases but idk how if we are 900 miles away. I alway sacrifice everything for him now I think it's time for him to do the same when it comes to my daughter, don't get me wrong I want him in her life but I want her to live with me |
Question: Dating my ex best friend's ex husband? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 08:34 PM PST So, a few years ago, my best friend at the time cheated on her husband and was emotionally abusive towards him. They divorced and she often keeps their kids away from him. When they broke up, he came to me for advice on how to get her back. Eventually, we ended up hanging out and not talking about her. They stayed apart longer and longer. Eventually, we slept together. I ended it when things got too weird and she found out and called me every name in the book. None of that was good for my mental health. So, earlier this year, after he had tried talking to me for months, I finally gave him s chance and we started hanging out and sleeping together again. I know they're divorced and that he never cheated with me and that she wrecked her own marriage. But I still feel bad and I never got closure about the whole situation. Also, I'm not sure we completely healed and validated each other's feelings about losing as a wife and friend. How do we start the healing process? |

Question: Should I give my 16 year old husband chores? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 07:06 PM PST He works from 5-10 PM 6 days a week. Is also giving him household chores a good idea? |
Question: Is my ex lying about seeing someone else? What do you think? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 06:15 PM PST First, let me just say that I don't care if she doesn't want anything to do w/ me, but I don't like being lied to. I reached out to my ex to see if she'd like to meet up for lunch once the semester's over. She texts me back two days later saying that she's seeing someone and it wouldn't be appropriate. Obviously this could be true (if so, good for her!), but it seems out of character & implausible for the following reasons. We broke up three months ago, but at the start of our relationship she told me that she was abstinent & didn't have sex in two years. She said this was due to both her desire to remarry & trust issues w/ men. Now we did end up having sex, but that was something she would feel guilty about & blame me for. She also has a very hectic schedule -- she goes to school full-time, babysits two days out of the week, has full custody of her son, tutors, and has to drive two hours away every weekend to do work w/ the military. I mean it was hard enough for us to see each other during the summer when she had at least some free time in her schedule. So what do you guys think? Is she really in a new relationship despite her trust issues & extremely busy schedule, or was that just an excuse not to see me? |

Posted: 07 Dec 2018 02:32 PM PST My partner has will-power stronger than anyone I know; he almost never touches anything that's remotely unhealthy and as a result, he maintains a great physique even in his 50s. I'm significantly younger than him, and care about my body as well but I allow myself to indulge much more often. I'm 5'7" and 130 pounds so I'm thin. My partner has never called me fat but he's always making comments about toning up. He frequently tells me that I should start doing calf raises and squats, and he also tells me I need to work on my core. Then he says things like I need to watch what I eat and practice more self control around chocolate and other sugary sweets. He may be right but I suffered with disordered eating and negative body image for 10 years (and he knows this), so I'm particularly sensitive to his comments. Maybe I'm being too sensitive... or maybe his comments are too much? What do you think? He's also always trying to get me to wear different shoes (heels) and wear my hair in a French braid instead of down like I usually do. I don't know-- I would never tell him to wear something different. If he wants to wear jeans I'll think he's sexy in jeans! But he makes these comments a lot and it's starting to really bother me. |
Posted: 07 Dec 2018 02:22 PM PST I'm a traditional Catholic who attends only the Traditional Latin Mass. I'm currently expecting kid #4 and my husband and I have been married for 5 years. I was also pregnant last year and lost the baby late in the pregnancy. So, I've basically been pregnant since we've been married. I've recently told my husband that I don't know if I want to have anymore kids after this one ... and, he's really uncomfortable with that. We've tried using Natural Family Planning (NFP) and it just doesn't seem to work for us. So, spacing out our kids has been kind of a joke. When I've talked with a traditional Catholic priest about it, he told me that I just need to breastfeed and that's God's natural way of spacing them. I have breast fed and co-slept with all of our kids and I get my cycle back in 3 to 4 months. I'm just getting really really burned out and I feel guilty for not wanting anymore kids, but I feel like I'm losing my sanity. I've never really wanted to put a number on How many kids we would have. I just don't know how I can keep things up if this keeps happening. |
Question: URGENT! Muslim, marriage without mum knowing? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 02:17 PM PST I'm almost 17 (girl) and I'm having a difficult time controlling my desires... I tried fasting but it doesn't help much, I know marriage is important and I'm honestly ready, the problem is my mum won't let me so can I marry with only my fathers permission without my mum knowing? What if she finds out and is against it? |

Posted: 07 Dec 2018 06:32 AM PST Avoiding them is possible but my wife will continue to be a crappy wife if I don't confront her with the things that she's doing wrong in our relationship and my son will continue to fail school and be antisocial and be a risk to society when he finally realizes that you can't play video games and sleep for the rest of his life so I really have no other choice but to confront them with all of the things that they do that negatively impacts me and everyone else around them because they're too narcissistic and autistic and OCD to realize that their actions have consequences. So how do I get the message across that my feelings and my life should matter to them and they need to stop making everything a win-or-lose situation and just start compromising and making progress towards a better future instead of them being control freaks and making everything about them and what they want? |
Question: Ladies what if your husband sent a girl this...should I slash his tires? Posted: 07 Dec 2018 02:40 AM PST We have been together 7 yrs. I have dark brown eyes..big boobs..and I am tall. This girl on instagram (who he knows but she moved to another country) is short with light eyes. My husband likes short women with light eyes (that I don't have), This is the conversation I saw on instagram from July 2018...but I JUST saw this in December. A s s h o l e Husband: Those eyes tho 🤩 Instagram B****: 🙈 i give all the credit to the snap filter. Makes my eyes look fantastic. A s s h o l e Husband: do you use that filter in every picture? Cuz I'm saying.. lol Instagram B**** : i dont. 😂 thank you! *** when I asked him if he'd say such a thing in front of me he said no |
