He just went to college and I just graduated high school, I'm taking a year break from school to get a job/save for a car/save to pay college bills etc. It's his homecoming week and he wanted to go to a party with his friends and drink yesterday, I started to have a panic attack when we talked about it. I begged him not to go. The next morning I realized how awful I was being and as much as it hurt me, I told him he could go if he wanted to. But he stayed home for me. Now he's wanting to join a fraternity and the minute he brought it up to me my mind went into overdrive. I have yet to stop crying and worrying that he's going to change or he's going to find someone better or get drunk and cheat on me. I don't know why I have these awful thoughts and I don't know how to fix it, it's driving me insane. I know I sound like the worst girlfriend ever, I know how I'm treating him isn't right, which is why I'm asking for advice. I don't want to ruin his college experience. He's all I have right now, my friends all left me, my life at home is awful and since graduation I've been truly wanting to commit suicide. I feel like if I lose him it will push me over the edge. I want to treat him better because he deserves the world, but my mind is so against me right now and I can't help but overthink everything and induce panic attacks. She's 4'11 and probably 140 lbs and he comments saying "youre beautiful" and I'm not saying shes overweight. Just that I'm a lot smaller than her weight wise even at my heaviest and he would torment me saying I was fat, he threw away my food, it was so bad his friends actually intervened and told him he was being abusive and asked him to stop but he says shes beautiful at 4'11 140 lbs. she is quite chubby.
