She's 14, and he'll be 18 soon. I don't want to confront her, but I'm worried.

I'm in my early 20s and still don't know how to make friends, I never really learned. I have had friends throughout my life but now I just don't have any left except one. I feel so awkward and weird approaching people. It just feels embarrassing and pathetic to me. I don't know how to connect or relate to people or "bond" so to speak, in a normal way. I just feel so lost when it comes to social situations because I'm in-experienced because I hardly had any friends in high school and had some in college but none that really stuck. I just don't understand how people can have a lot of close friendships and be friends with the person since childhood. I can't relate to that at all.

Ok so it started when he passed away, I was 9 at the time and also my dad liked him and he always listened to him.  -anyways it started when I was at my friends house I was watching T.V than my friend was in her room so I decided to turn off the T.V and when I turned it off I quickly saw a flash and michael Jackson was looking at me so I got up and ran to my friends room.  -The next time I had this picture of him that was hanging on my door, i turned around because my mirror was right there and than i looked at the poster from the mirror and Michael was in a different position and had his arms going down instead of them crossing eachother.  -another time was when I had a C.D of him and when i put it in the stereo it switched to Track 21 and I was wondering what song it was so i checked on the back of the CD and there was no track 21 and I switched it back to track 1 and i looked for track 21 and I could not find it. (It was a song that i have never heard before)  -All of my friends were over for a sleepover and I went into the living room with 2 of my other friends than we heard the other girls screaming so we went in the room and i was asking what happened and they were saying the poster on my door was moving so i took it down.  -i lost my roll of scotch tape from my room so i was looking for it for like an hour and no one was home except my dad but he was outside walking around. anyways I finally said outloud "where could the tape be!" than i heard Michael say "check the sink" I got scared but than I replied "why would it be there?" he replied back saying "no around the sink" so I got up and checked the sink and sure enough it was there.  -me and my friend were in my room watching a movie on netflix and than the light started flickering and my friend said "real scary, what if it was michael jackson" so I played along and said "Michael jackson if thats you give us a sign" than on the t.v michael Jackson music started playing.  I also had so much more things but I dont like typing (aha)  i am actually serious there is no joke at all!

Asking for a friend.

My "Casual " Friend said that she has a party gping on in a place that is far from where I live (1 hour). I don't have a car and she's the only person I know there. She invited a group of people that I don't know and we don't have a table. Should I go if we are not close (seen her once) and I dont know anyone (I might end up alone)?

Were freshman.. my friend has been sexting with older men for weeks now, like.. its a problem.. as friends we have eachothers email info, so ive been able to see how things progress and I have screenshots, ive told my parents, but I havent really been able to, or known how to tell her parents? The ONLY reason im debating it is because she.. doesnt come from the best family life, and her parents are abusive, so idk how or if they could actually help her? See, she has self diagnosed BPD (borderline personality disorder).. which, knowing her for all these years she has every symptom in the book so I have NO doubt about it.. but sadly her parents wont get her help, and I think because of it shes just lost and going down a bad path.. her Bpd at this point has gotten to the point of.. I dont think shes able to keep and maintain a friendship? Shes gone to these older men.. pedophiles.. for comfort... its.. Like its BAD, shes delusional, and its gone from, some days up some days down, to one minute up and the next down.. its so draining on me.. at times shes abusive :( So a few days ago when she lashed out at me, instead of brushing it off I lashed out back, well.. not lashed out, but I still told her its abusive, she needs to stop.. I think our friendships' finally.. over.. but I feel like I need to tell her parents, ya know? But idk how.. I have their numbers and all that.. but.. word wise?

I have this friend who texted me and I replied to them. To be clear, I don't expect a response from them right away. I understand and respect that people can't always talk for whatever reason. Here's the thing though I see them on social media and during that time I don't get a reply back from them for 2-3 days sometimes 4. I don't know if this is normal because I'm not a person with many friends. Do you just think they are truly busy with something or are they not interested in having a conversation with me? This happens very often and sometimes they say they are going to call me at a certain time and then they don't. They don't even text me saying they aren't able to talk. Instead, I'm just left waiting for them to call and they leave me hanging. They avoid talking about how they didn't call and don't talk to me for days after. I'm not sure what to think, I am trying not to blame or accuse them of anything. I'd like to think this is all for good reason

Hi everyone so I have been friends with this girl I've been friends with her since school. She's 27 and I'm 28 years old. Anyway we had a fight a few months back (July) over a bill that she owed money for and she didn't want to pay and I thought she wasn't a real friend for not paying her share. But in spite she paid in the end. Anyway we haven't talked since up untill she got engaged in Sept and I congratulated her and asked how she was doing and she said fine same old. She did not ask me how I'm doing which I found kind of rude as I congratulated her. We are still friends on social media and every time I put up a story she follows every single one. She never likes any of my photos and never texts me how I'm doing? So I decided to delete her of social media as I did not like that she was lurking on my life updates. I'm just very hurt and annoyed that she is such a selfish person and we could have been in each other lives for such nice things that are about to happen for example she's getting married in October (I wasn't invited) and my boyfriend is also planning to propose to me too. How do I get over this friendship and just forget about it and move on?

So me and my friends all agreed to meet up since one of our friends made pancakes and wanted to share. We met at my dorm (we live on campus) Everyone had met up except one person, who'd texted saying they stil needed to get dressed and stuff. We all started to eat with our her, but we'd made sure she got an equal portion. Everyone had finished eating and she still hadn't shown up. We'd offered to go to her if she didn't wanna walk over since it was cold, but she texted me saying she had been already on her way and that instead she'd get breakfast elsewhere. I tried texting her telling her that there was still food for her but she angrily said she didn't like eating when others weren't and that we could keep the pancakes since she no longer wanted them. I feel bad, how can I fix things between us?

Don't care about talking to me. But when I'm quite and leave they got all like "whats wrong" or whatever and when this girl started bullying me none of them had my back at all. What would you do ? Also the only other ppl in that class are the popular kids so I don't have anyone else to hangout with. I just feel like a burden .

I got a call from my ex mother in law Sally (my ex wife's mother) that she needed my help. I always liked her when I was married to her daughter so I said how can I help you. She told me her 15 year old daughter Jill got a note from her teacher that she was failing math in school and Jill needed a math tutor. Sally had priced tutors and they were all very expensive and she ask me if I would tutor Jill on credit. I told her I would tutor Jill for free as I don't charge friends for my help. Jill cam to my house 2 night a week and I helped her with her math. She raised her grade from an F to an A. Everyone was happy or so I thought. I got a call from my ex wife Sandy that I should stop tutoring Jill because Jill had a crush on me and that was just too kinky. I told Sandy I would stop tutoring Jill if her mother ask me to. The next time Sally brought Jill for tutoring I told her what Sandy had told me. She begged me to keep tutoring Jill because Jill now enjoys going to school and her grades are up in all of her classes. Sally told me she did not think Jill had a crush on me and even if she did, teenage girls get crushes all the time they usually go away very shortly. I work in an office with 8 other women. Our boss is a 29 year old single guy who is the best boss in the world. We just adore him. I would not take another job even if it paid more if it meant I would get a new boss. In the employee break room, he will sometimes join us in our conversation. One day we ask him if the reason he hired us was we passed the "cup test". He said what was the cup test? We told him that we had to have a D cup or bigger to get hired. He told us no. We all passed the beauty test. He only hired beautiful women and we all pass the test with flying colors. Is he ever cool. Another time we ask him if his dates all had boob sizes bigger that their IQ. He said he did not know as he never looked at their IQs. We all had a good laugh. Women in other departments tell us we are sexually harassing him. Are we? Can you sexually harass someone if they enjoy what you say? You would think if we were sexually harassing him, he would fire us.

Okay so a little detail about me, I'm a 20 y/o female who is a junior in college. I'm naturally quiet and observant. I notice that most of my peers are having the time of their lives in college, while I sit in my dorm room depressed because I have nothing to do/ no one to do anything with. I'm starting to think there is something wrong with me. I try to talk to people, but it never leads to anything. I have a boyfriend, but we're in a long distance relationship. Whenever I'm walking around campus, some females give me dirty looks. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong to not have atleast ONE good friend. I believe that I'm a good person, who has genuine intentions towards anyone I meet. What can I do to change my college experience?

Why di i feel soo lonely? i am the most pleasing kid in class but my best friends just used me and dumped me when i got good grades they used to maintain friendship but now when another kid got more marks than me they dumped me and are trying to take her up in my place my mom teases me calling me a loner i have never bothered about my looks but all my classmates do i hate those who try to put up a fake image of oneself i know im naturally pretty so although i have acne and im fat or whatever else it is i just dont care i dont know what to do . i hate all of them but i cannot do anything

I've been resenting friends and new people for no good reason. Is it possible that I'm afraid of intimacy so I'm being defensive?

There's this girl who I've been friends with for the past year called Katie. Before I met her I was best friends with this other girl called Maya (for 3 years) But last year Maya started ignoring my calls and talking to me less then all of a sudden she says she doesn't want to be friends with me anymore and we haven't spoken since. She never even told me why and to this day I still don't know what I did wrong. So after completely shutting me out she then spread a rumour abort me around the school. I couldn't believe someone who I considered my best friend and who I shared everything with would do that to me. I told Katie (my current bestie) this story and about how embarassed and worthless Maya made me feel. I thought Katie understood how much Maya hurt me. Until today when I found out that they both do soccer together and talk regularly and are pretty much friends. I feel so betrayed by Katie. How can she be friends with the girl who completely broke my trust? The girl who stabbed me in the back and made me feel like nobody. Where's the loyalty? Katie's my best friend and she should be on MY side and have MY back. On the other hand Maya didn't do anything to her, and I can't force them to stop being friends. I want to tell Katie that she needs to pick between me or Maya but at the same time I don't want to create unnecessary drama or be unreasonable What do you think? P.s sorry this post was so long

My supposed group of "friends" never tell me anything anymore like that they're doing something, going somewhere, or hanging out. They always do one of two things: 1) When I ask them if we're doing anything in the day, they either don't respond, tell me they're busy, or lie/BS me.When I find out that they did so and call them out on it, they lie and BS more. 2) They get together and hand out and do something and not tell me. When I find out that they did so and call them out on it, they lie and BS more or not even answer me at all. They know I always get mad or over react but they still do this stuff. We all used to have such a great friendship too; hanging out SO much during the week and especially the weekend

‪last summer i went on a vacation to visits my sister and nephew. my nephew is 15 and im 16 (it's complicated) so he was taking pictures/videos with me in them and sending them to his friends and whatever. later one of his female friends (also 15) messages him saying "who's that in your videos, he's cute" so he told me and showed me her and she was actually really attractive. one night he was on facetime with her and i was there and we were talking, and they mentioned that they were in a club together, and they were meeting the next day, and that if i wanted i could come. since it was only my first few days of vacation, i didn't go, but i've recently been considering what would've happened with me and her if i went. would i be possible anything could've happened (touching, kiss/kissing, etc)? i'm going back this summer and i may have a chance to meet her then, and if she's still as into me as she was than, i'm wondering if something can happen between us. is this possible?‬

Out celebrating a birthday for another friend, would you let your 25 year old girl friend who has a boyfriend go off and talk to strangers at a club and let her leave with them because you thought she was hammered and didnt feel like it was anyone s responsibility? Or would you try to take care of her and get her home safe?

I made a friend at college and we have a class together on Fridays and Saturdays. He is really into video games and anime. He invited me to his twitch channel where he streams he has 20 subscribers and they are all guys. We messaged eachother for the first two weeks then he became short and said he has lot of study to do and homework. We stoped talking online But we hang out at school sometimes. I asked him why he doesn't message me he said he doesn't check him messages But he is constantly playing games and when he does message me he talks about his high scores and anime fanfic vlogs he enjoys and altho I respect his interest I wish he would ask about mine or at least ask something to get to know me. I do every thing that I can possibly push myself to the upper limits of the extremes, to be so physically strong, that I can outmatch anybody, and beat the sh!t out of groups of people at the same time. Ex bf left church same time as I did almost like he waited for me to leave to also come out. I was going down the stairs, I turned around he was behind me. I am 24 yr old male, I graduated last year and just recently got hired for IT work. I havent had a girlfriend nor dated before. School was really takin my time and wanted to focus so i can graduate, so i never really got the chance to date or have girlfriend, school came hard to me and so i had to put extra focus. I have a friend who I met my senior year in highschool. He was a junior& d 1st person to talk to me on d 1st day of school. I was happy bc I didn't know anyone in my 1st-period. We had this class together every day so we talked & worked on our class work together w/some other people. Later, we would meet up @ d library to work on hw but we ended up not doing it lol. We chatted or played some games on our phones w/each other. I enjoyed being together& wanted to become close friends. We walked after school to our buses to leave after hanging out.We did this often 1st semester but 2nd semester not anymore bc I started to hangout w/my senior friends. We still talked during 1st period tho.The time I spent w/him was memorable.After I graduated I didn't talk to him anymore.When august came, he texted me to know if I had started college.I really didn't think he would text me.I was a little surprised but happy ^_^. Note: I never had any guy friends. I've always wanted to have some but Idk how to approach & be friends with them.I'm a pretty shy girl & I really don't talk much.I overthink what I should talk about w/guys. I dont have a sense of humor either lol. Point: last night, I dreamed that he & I were hanging out in my room talking. i hugged him and It felt nice. He gave me some presents and I was really happy.Then he hugged me from the back. I think we were dating in the dream.This dream is so random bc I never thought about him since August bc of college. So my friend is renting a room from a women, and his dad asked him if he could keep his dogs for him. His landlord let him keep the 2 dogs. One of the dogs kept biting the landlords daughter when she came to visit so the landlord made the dad take it, but she let my friend keep one there. The dog ran away twice, and my friend went and retrieved it. It ran away about a month ago, and someone found it and contacted him, and he told them to just take it to the shelter. The dog ended up getting uthinized days later. It was barely 2 years old. Idk, but if I were him I would do whatever it took to find the dog a good home. The dog obviously needed training, but I cant really blame him as he worked 16 hour shifts, and really didnt have time. It was his dads dog after all. But I dont see how he could let the authorization happen. Thoughts?
