Posted: 07 Nov 2018 11:50 AM PST Throughout our entire relationship my husband has obsessively talked about all of his ex-girlfriends. He's trash talked and complained about all of them saying all of the breakups were they're fault. He seems to still be caught up about his ex-girlfriend who he was with before me since he's talked about her the most. When we were dating all he could talk about was her. For example, her body, the sex they had together and the issues they went through. He's even compared me to her multiple times on many occasions in insulting ways towards my looks. I remember one time he said, "Your breasts look different than my exes." Yours are saggier than my exes her's sat up more but I like yours better." When we first started out he remained friends with her and I found out they were having inappropriate conversations about us having threesomes so I told him to stop talking to her. I've caught him texting her he missed her while we were dating. I told him I don't want him talking to her and he keeps reaching out to her still every once in awhile and it's still continuing. Last month I saw a message between them two when he went through his phone and he messaged her and said, "Do you feel bad about the way our relationship ended?" When I ask him if he's still in love with her and if he has closure with her he says yes. Everytime I bring this concern of mines to his attention he gets defensive, angry, emotionally worked up and ecstatic when I bring her up. |
Posted: 07 Nov 2018 11:35 AM PST I didn't understand something today and I was asking one of the team leaders what I should write. And she explained it to me then said "got it? Yeah? Good" in a rude tone. I don't understand the need to speak like that or say it like that. What's hard about saying "do you get it now?" Maybe it's to do with me being younger (18) and she's only a few years older and she doesn't think Im worthy of respect |
Question: Why does my ex fiancé blame me for moving on with someone else? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 10:21 AM PST We were together for 3 1/2 years, he called off our engagement 6 months prior to the wedding. For 7 months I tried to get back together with him. Eventually He blocked me and went MIA for almost a year. My current boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year and are planning on getting married next year. My ex fiancé heard the news and is very upset with the situation. I don't understand why. He said he still loves me and claims he wasn't in the right state of mind when he called off the wedding. He got a new job right after the engagement. Apparently he couldn't handle the stress of Wedding planning and his new job. He swears there wasn't anyone else in his life during our time apart. He was mostly focusing on building his career.I'm so confused. |
Question: How do I talk to my husband about this? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 09:51 AM PST I have heard a lot of stories about mother in law problems from my married friends but mine is just the opposite. My husbands mother Mary is my best friend. I just adore her. I recently had surgery and could not stay by myself for a week. She came and stayed with me for a week and took care of me so my husband did not have to take a week off work which we could not afford. She cooked and cleaned and took care of everything. I am now fully recovered thanks a lot to her great care. Her meals were to die for. We go shopping/looking about once a week and it is something we both greatly enjoy. She recently told me that she would like to start dating again and hopefully get married. Her problem is she did not think her son, my husband would approve. She is a very young looking 40+ woman. When some people see us together they think we are sisters. A great compliment for her. I told her the truth which is she is a beautiful woman and would make any guy a trophy wife. She will not have any trouble finding a guy that would want to marry her. She has a gorgeous figure. I wish mine was that good. I told her if male companionship would make her happy, she should do it NOW. She ask me to talk to my husband to see how he would feel if she remarried. Someone please give me some advice on how approach this subject with my husband. |
Question: Should I feel guilty for wanting my girlfriend (in a physical way)? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 09:32 AM PST So I have this angel, who is everything I ever wanted. Every single thing about her is perfect, she's a down to earth, hard working, sweet and timid girl who never dell in love before and never had a boyfriend so I always try to be loyal and correct toward her ( I mean, not o take advantage). This time I felt like I crossed the line. We were supposed to study but se were both tired so se watched tv.. She laid her her next to my arm and then she fell asleep. So I suggested she slept on the bed. She followed my advice and got on the bed and I put a blanket on her and she smiled. Then I laid next to her and put my head on her chest, she smiled and put her arms across my body pulling me close. After a while we fell asleep. We woke up after about 2 hours and I starter kissing her and touching her chest ( I had never done that to her before). She asked: what are you doing? And I told her I loved her, and she had this sad look on her face but let me anyway. I opened her pj and fondled her and kissed her, then I put my head on her bare chest and she caressed my hair and neck again. We got interrupted and I realized later what I did was wrong, because I felt like if I loved her, I should not take advantage of her. Although I loved her and always protected her I felt like I was taking hgr innocence.. I cannot explain it but I feel guilty although I love her so much. I'm glad I kissed her but I also feel dirty like jerk. I mean I liked lying on her but is that wrong? We're not teenagers |
Question: Please some advice on how to handle this situation with my husband? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 09:09 AM PST My stepson Mike is in the Boy Scouts. He really enjoys being in the Boy Scouts. He often tells his dad and me how much fun it is and how he likes the scout master. His dad is telling him he does not want him in the Scouts. The problem is the Scout Master is my former husband. I don't think this is fair to his son Mike. It is totally normal for scouts to like their Scout Master. I ask Mike if the Scout Master ever mentions me and he told me NO. Should I try to talk some sense into my husband that scouts are a good experience for HIS son or maybe tell Mike to NEVER mention his Scout Master to his dad. All advice would be greatly appreciated. |
Posted: 07 Nov 2018 09:00 AM PST nean he is having a girlfriend, or does he still have feelings for me? Indeed, he misunderstood me, I implied him nothin negative. |
Question: People think I'm weird because I don't constantly upload photos to social media..? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 07:33 AM PST I'm a 25 year old woman. I have Facebook but I never bothered getting Instagram because I had no desire (despite the fact that pretty much everyone I know that is a similar age to me has it). I also don't have Snapchat or any of that, because again I have zero desire. It's true that I've always been a bit of a loner deep down, but I still enjoy going out and doing stuff. I have hobbies and I go out every weekend (I'm also in a long-term committed relationship). I just don't see why I need to share it with the world for it to be real. Does this make me weird? I don't really engage in conversations on social media with people either (I prefer to just talk to people in real life), but then my friends take it that I'm not interested. Is there something wrong with me, then? It's also funny because my partner also doesn't upload to his social media much either, but I think when it comes to guys nobody really seems to notice if they don't upload photos, but with girls it means she's going through a tough time or something. Anyway I guess my question is does this make me a weirdo/antisocial? Or am I just introverted or something? Please share your views, thanks! |
Posted: 07 Nov 2018 04:24 AM PST Like what's the big deal? What enrages them so much about the fact that I don't think about any of my family or friends? So what if I hurt them for the rest of their lives? What's their problem? They're sickened and enraged, but I don't care. They're the ones with the problem, not me. |
Question: Why do women hang with jerks and bullies? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 12:11 AM PST Why do they hang with jerks and bullies? |
Question: My neighbors vanished? Posted: 06 Nov 2018 11:40 PM PST I know it's none of my business but I just find this strange. The last time I saw my neighbors was this Saturday, when I looked out the window I saw the mother and her kids with a couple of bags ( not suitcases ) and was loading the car and ever since then they haven't returned and today is Wednesday. They have 2 dogs which I'm concerned about because they continuously howl all day in night because lack of food. I haven't seen anyone even come and check up on the dogs or move any furniture Today when I got home I saw they had a paper in their door for late rent... they couldn't be on vacation because they left the dogs...I guess I'm just curious |
Question: Why does my counselor care about the happiness of a woman and not a mans? Posted: 06 Nov 2018 09:29 PM PST My counselor seems that only a woman's feelings matter and not those of a mans.I feel that he is not listening to me ,How can a counselor like this help? When I go for help I get shot down some more Is that their way of reasoning to solve problems? 70 year old male |
Question: Is it verbal fighting if you don't agree with a statement that someone makes? Posted: 06 Nov 2018 07:16 PM PST Someone said something negative online and i was explaining the positive sides of it and he said that i made a verbal fight. There was nothing negative that was said towards eachother, it was about a random subject. Does that also count for verbal fighting? |

Posted: 06 Nov 2018 07:04 PM PST Women today are all on drugs looking for a free ride they abuse the court system the man always gets screwed in divorce cases just not worth it in my opinion oh and women today only want kids for the child support checks and welfare benefits |
Posted: 06 Nov 2018 04:27 PM PST I hate shopping in stores, it's exhausting and the clerks always give me dirty looks. She said she got it in the organic section and it was the right price, but It doesn't say organic on the receipt. It says fresh and natural which is not the same I don't think.I need it to say organic at least five times so I know it's organic. I am on a no sugar gluten free dairy diet. I also can't eat potatoes or cranberries because they are grown or corn because they contain too much sugar. My daughter is mad at me and my sister keeps apologizing over and over and over for screwing up she also keeps asking me if I am mad at her because I sound and look angry. Which makes me angrier . I am trying to lower my cholesterol by barely eating. my daughter said to find someone else to shop for me because all I do complain. She is so thin skinned. With a daughter like her what does she expect? I asked the guy at the store. He is about 16 looks bored and is like if it is in the organic section its organic. This is why I no longer shop for myself. |
Posted: 06 Nov 2018 12:57 PM PST So my girlfriend is 18, once she was a sweet, naive, girl but lately I can hardly recognize her. She cries almost all the time, she's sad and every attempt to cheer her up doeant help. She stays on her bed, reads or watches tv ans cries because she thinks she will die soon. She's so afraid of lllnesses she's conviced herself she has one, now she thinks she has parkinson. Her hands shake and even the doc said it cannot be possible because she's too young. She keeps crying all the time, once she thinks she'll be blind cause she has glasses, another time she makes up another illness. The problem with it all is that she's really convinced that she's gonna die, its not that she's making it all up. She has these crises that dont let her sleep her night, and I often stay with her until she calms down (normally her parents wouldn't let me but we hit rock bottom so she really needs my presence). In one of those nights, she confessed me she wanted to die and dont soffer anymore. I gave her something to calm her down. I don't know why this is happening..she was a sweet, good, shy kinda girl who loved playing soccer and studying, now she locked herself in her bedroom saying she wants but is afraid to die. Her mom doesn't know what to do, she's really worried and cried while talking to me. My girlfriend has been having a hard time at school 6 months ago before she changed school because she was bullied. Her 27 year old cousin committed suicide just a week ago and she closes her ears when her relatives talk about it. I'm thinking she has a sort of trauma that makes her act this way. She's also afraid of everything now, from going to hospitals to going outside and the sun.I really dont know how she ended up this way. I am leaving to college next week(I asked a permission to come home because of her) but I'm scared to let her in this condition and I know if she doesn't improve I will keep worrying |
Posted: 06 Nov 2018 04:50 AM PST Have you ever experienced a situation where there was a breakdown in trust between persons in a close relationship? What was the effect on the relationship? Have you ever been treated unfairly? Why did you feel that way? How could this have been avoided? |
