Over time we started to talk and became intimate. After about 2 months we started having sex and what not and things seemed really good, but we never really fully exchanged feelings for each other. Like yeah we both liked each other, but I don't know if she ever really wanted anything serious. Anyways, we went on winter break and when we came back I expected everything to go back to normal. We texted all the time over break, so there was no loss of contact. But when we came back things just seemed different and I asked her how she felt and she said she doesn't really want anything serious. I went with it and said Im down for her but if she isn't ready then i don't want to push anything. But since then our conversations have faded and we don't talk nearly as much and are not intimate at all. She still texts and snapchats me weekly but its just bullshit stuff that any friend would send. I honestly really like her, but I'm not sure if i should continue to pursue her or just move on. I have asked her to do things and it hasn't really been reciprocated much, so lately I have stopped, but I can't stop thinking about her. Im stuck between continuing trying and putting myself out there or just moving on to something new. I get really confused because I feel like things were so perfect before we went on break and the time off really changed her. Idk what to do help!!! We've broken up twice, and both times we weren't really committed to being broken up and got back together. He has an ex that he started hanging out with after we started college (like they went to a couple of concerts) and I didn't really mind, other than that he was doing fun things without me, but that was just more about missing him. I wasn't worried about it at all. Then he broke up with me in October and when we got back together in January he told me that he'd rebounded really hard and had sex with this girl and oral sex with another girl. That killed me inside, but I kind of get it, and it's not like we were together at the time. He told me today that they were hanging out and getting high together and I'm not really okay with it. Is this rational or should I just chill out? I've already been worried because he wanted to go to a concert for his birthday with both me and her and I don't know if I'll be able to handle being around her. And the fact that he still hangs out with her is really frustrating for me. He says no one compares to me, but I don't know that it's the same for her and I just don't like the idea of her being alone with him. Should I bring it up or just let it go? |

After that convo, my crush told me what this manager said and asked if I would ever date him. He also later on told me he could see me dating this other coworker we have and I said no. I don't think he was trying to set me up with him since him and this coworker aren't friends, and no one likes this other coworker. But he was constantly coming up to me ; I moved seats and he asked why I moved, he asked for my earphones, even though he already had some, I had presented to the class and he was also clapping and asked me questions, he also one time hit me with his elbow and I was like "ow" and he wouldn't stop asking me if I was okay and if I needed to go the nurse. I thought he was cute and sweet but I liked this other guy ( turns out he was an ***). So now this year, I see the guy from that class and he got cuter. I want to get to know him more, but we don't have any classes together. I'm not really friend's with any of his friends, but I have some connections through other people. I sometimes see him in the hallway, my friend's say that a couple times they've caught him scanning the cafeteria, he pauses in my general direction. I couple weeks ago, I was checking him out and he made eye contact, looked away for a split second, and then looked back at me. He kept doing this back and forth thing with me until I looked away. I don't know if that means anything. I got his snapchat through a friend who's sortof friends with one of his friends ( but she's not close enough with him to like "set us up") and added him, but he hasn't added me back bc he doesn't really use social media. The guy in my class stares at me often. However I do my fair share of the staring. One time, when he was walking in front of me- I would notice that he would look over his shoulder possibly to see how far or close I was to him. Could be 4-5 kids at this point have not talked to him in years. I consider these guys losers. I am gainfully employed, educated, tall, have diverse hobbies, goals, ambitions, dreams, exercise multiple times a week, like to have fun, nonjudgmental, and chill personality. Some background... For about 3 or four days she barely answered any texts and we usually texted all day everyday. I could barely get answers. She maybe responded once every 4 hours. Then she texts me saying that she was drunk and told a friend she had a crush on him. But neither of them have real feelings and that nothing happened with them and that she's never cheated. She comes over and spends the night, nothing sexual happens. At this point my trust is shaky. But In the morning as she's leaving she drops that she wants a break. We haven't said anything to each other in 4-5 days since then other than I can get my stuff from her place this weekend. But he's popular and I'm not, yet he's really nice to me. I feel like we have something, but I don't know. He's always smiling at me and he talks to me about how smart I am and making me laugh, and we had a cute moment in cooking class once where we were washing dishes and he said "the soap smells really good. It smells like" and then we both said "lemon" at the same time and he smiled and I laughed. We used to talk a LOT in gcs, for like hours on end. That ended after a few months. I noticed he did, however, talk with my friends, but with me he was always erratic(Ignore me sometimes, talk to me randomly for long periods of time, I had to yell at him a few times to stop having so many mood swings). We're the sort of people who are always fighting(in a jokingly way), but it all blew up one day. I blocked him, and he after that, would completely ignore me. When he saw me he would jump and run away as fast as he could. And mind you, this dude is huge, so it was quite amusing to see. He came up to me like a week later and started asking me stupid questions(which i knew he knew the answers to because we had talked about these things before) and, in my anger, I told to stop being indecisive and choose to either ignore me completely or not. He said he would ignore me, and we haven't talked after that. Do you think he ever liked me, and have I ruined any chance we had at all? |

In my most recent attempt at a relationship, we got close pretty fast, we talked a lot about everything, conversations about the future, she often said that I was perfect and she never felt so strongly about someone before and couldn't imagine anyone being able to make her feel the way she did then. So, the question comes here, if a guy makes you feel this way and you decide to break things off because he's "Too good for you" what does it really mean? Is it the fear of a possible commitment, or something wrong was done and now you feel guilty, or what can it be? |
