Posted: 14 Mar 2017 12:51 PM PDT I started seeing this woman just last week. We've been really vibing. She seemed so anxious and really wanted to see me Saturday. I called her Saturday morning and told her that I had to get my son for a few hours for a haircut. I should be done around 2. She told me to please come find her when I was done with that. She text me. Then she called, left a message and text again. She said she saw me post on FB and I didn't respond to her. Other things came up. The next afternoon she text and said that I could at least apologize. I told her that she needed to relax and she sounded really upset in her texts before saying that I must have been locked down with my main *****. I told her I'm single and that my son ended up spending the night. She went crazy and I didn't know how to resolve the issue. She asked to come to my house and I told her no but she came anyway and got upset because I wouldn't let her in. Now, she said she apologizes for coming over after I told her not to and asked if we could still be friends. I told her I accept her apology and she said thank you. Is it possible for us to be friends. Should I give it a few days and try to contact her again? Where did I go wrong and is it possible to fix it? |
Question: Why did he accept my apology? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 12:31 PM PDT I had been seeing a guy for a few months. We had a huge falling out because he blew me off Saturday with no explanation. I went to his house to pick up some things and he wouldn t let me in. He talked to me on the phone for an hour while I stood outside. I got upset and said some mean things so he hung up on me. I text him to let me know I made it home and I was surprised when he responded and said I m glad you made it home. I sent an apology text because I felt I overreacted and asked if we could still be friends. He accepted my apology. Now today he liked every status that I posted. My friend said he s not done with you..why is he liking my status? |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 11:48 AM PDT Today, my mother was shoveling snow. She asked for my help, but since I just got a new game, I said no. I thought that was it. Then later, I was still playing my game, and my mom came in. She said all the neighbors helped her, and I was selfish. She banned me from the computer, and said I can t get any new games. For my birthday, in May, I want a Nintendo Switch, and a small party with 3 friends. She said she s not paying for her half of the Switch, and I m not having a party. Help. (please don t call me selfish) |

Posted: 14 Mar 2017 11:32 AM PDT She likes her brother but hates her sister and parents. A cousin informed me of this (her brother). |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 11:30 AM PDT My uncle screams at his wife and kids. I like his kids except one girl who throws fits like a bad guy. I am scared when I go over there. The older son does something called sass to his Mom and he gets hit. Uncle yells all the time and is really scary. He also committed a crime before I was born and he drinks alcohol. I am really, really scared because I have to go there Saturday. Uncle is so scary. How can I get her not to make me see these scary people? My stomach hurts the whole time because I am so scared. |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 11:21 AM PDT I have to be in his wedding for the 3rd time and I am from his 2nd marriage. He has 7 kids from 5 different women four of whom were wives (one was with the women he left my Mom for but never married). |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 10:59 AM PDT She is at war with her daughter, or ex-daughter, who is the grand enemy. It is two ways as the daughter refuses any cease-fire negotiations my grandmother offered to host. My grandmother wanted to have a peace negotiation like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter did with the Middle East Peace Talks. Neither side wants peace, they want total war. My aunt has extended a few olive branches to the ex-daughter of hers. The ex-daughter has only extended one, a Merry Christmas email. The aunt wants us all to pledge our loyalty to her and despise her ex-daughter and insult her regularly to aunt and her other daughter and son. My Mom and her family have refused. The "War on Tina" it is called. So what do I do if my aunt attacks me or in a worst case scenario chokes me over me being nice to the ex-daughter? I am neutral and think both are too bitter like my parents used to get before they grew up. |
Question: Does my mother hate me? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 10:49 AM PDT She has favorites, I'm not allowed to go on my computer or phone untill my grades go up. Even though my grades aren't that bad. I've even been denied food. My brother has autism and I think that he's allowed to get away with anything because of it. He got kicked out of school because he slapped a teacher. No problem it was just the autism. I 'get smart' with my mother. Not allowed to go on computer and phone for weeks. I don't mind being the less loved child I do mind that she tries to control everything I do. She told me I should 'fix' my personality. I do admit I have a really shitty personality but there's not a lot I can do about that. She even hit me and that's not the first time she's done that. But of course she wouldn't touch my precious older brother. |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 10:35 AM PDT I don't have to visit them but I want to do you always deals for me. Small stuff but it still theft and one time it was something grand when I was a kid. |
Question: Has he been really thinking that way about me? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 10:30 AM PDT Whenever my dad's oldest brother greeted us after we've arrived at parties that were held at his house, he always bent down to my height to cloyingly tell me since I was 6 that I was *getting prettier*. Altho he's not the only one to tell me that, I always saw an ugly girl stare back at me in the mirror. And I was frequently told that I was ugly by popular guys when I was in middle school. My mom's sister told me that she saw that certain uncle make a fuss over me at my older sister's Confirmation party, my younger sister's 1st birthday party, & my older sister's high school graduation party. I've seen him lightly touch the cheeks of relatives in my generation. And since she's turning 18, he sent my younger sister a birthday card in the mail. I now think that it's too wonderful to be true that this particular uncle has been truthful about what's on his mind when he speaks to me since my mom revealed to me not so long ago that he actually hates my dad. I wonder if my uncle has been just trying to get on my good side. If I despised my sisters, I wouldn't treat their kids (if they were to have any) like royalty. The only time he broke the law was going 20 mph over the speed limit, so I don't want an answer like he's a *dirty old man* |
Question: I;m scared my sister is an alcoholic, is there anything my family or myself can do? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 10:30 AM PDT My sister just turned 21 almost a year ago and its bad. She has a 2 year old daughter and a husband. I love my family and i m worried about my nieces wellbeing and my sisters. Yeah my brother in law might have a drink on a saturday night but he will have A drink. ONE. Not 7-8 shots of fireball and 2 glasses of vodka like my sister does. She left my niece be herself a few months ago and came to my house (we live two houses apart) and took boose from out freezer bc she didn t want to be board watching riley while her husband was at work... Im getting really worried about her and its starting to cause problems within the family. We can all see it but whenever we bring it up she says its no big deal and blows us off. We are getting rally worried and don t know what to do help! |
Question: Be honest ... this is bad? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 10:29 AM PDT My sister in law married my brother five years ago. She's now pregnant with his kid. She has two kids from previous relationships...so this will be her third kid with a third baby daddy. Her other kids are 14 and 9. I told my brother she was a skank and he wouldn't listen. Isn't multiple baby daddies frowned upon? |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 09:54 AM PDT I'm not being a troll and I'm only posting anonymously to protect my identity as I'm embarrassed. It is my mom she's always been my mom but when I walked in the bathroom she was standing up urinating with obviously a penis. My parents must be gay but my mom has always been my mom and she's looks like a lady when she has clothes on. I guess she had some kind a breast implant done this was a few days ago I saw this and I don't know what to say. She has not brought up any of it since. What do I do? Do I go to my dad and say what happened? Will he be mad at me? I'm realizing that they must be a gay couple as I was adopted at birth but I had no idea my parents were gay I'm in shock. Again this is a serious question and I'm not what they call a troll I'm just posting it Anonymous to protect my ID as I'm embarrassed. Please help and take this seriously it's not a joke |
Question: My dad is marrying another woman do I have the right to be angry at him for this? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 09:37 AM PDT He says he divorced my mom because they weren't right for each other but I don't believe him. I think he know this woman as it is so soon they separated only two years ago and The divorce was finalized a month ago. My dad gets married this weekend. I plan to go to the wedding but I was at my dad deeply for this. I'm only going to the wedding for my grandparents like. I also hate the new stepmom as I've only met her twice this weekend will be the third and hopefully final time I made her. |

Question: All my parents care about is my education.? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 09:24 AM PDT Won't let me go out don't care about my health, physically and mentally. I'm not even allowed to be stressed over things and these few months have been the worst in my life atm they know everything that's happening but no they don't give a ****. I'm really bored of sitting inside all day doing nothing even my parents moaned about it so I started going out a bit now when I try go out apprently I've been out to much which is bullshit. How do I survive? dd |
Question: Should my mom bring her boyfriend to my tournament with my dad? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 09:17 AM PDT I have a tournament this weekend out of town. My mom and dad (divorced) are coming, but my mom is bringing her boyfriend. I'm just not comfortable having her boyfriend and my dad in the stands together, and my dad doesn't know yet. I try to be as polite as possible around my mom and her boyfriend, but it makes me uncomfortable especially at my tournament. Am I being unreasonable to tell her? I don't want to tell my dad to leave since I would like for him to be there. Thanks |
Question: Boyfriends brother has been staying with us and I want my space? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 09:08 AM PDT My boyfriends brother has been staying at my place for a few days now and I'm 5months pregnant and just want my place to myself, It is my place not my boyfriends. I tell him I want my privacy but he feels bad because his brother has no place to go because supposedly his sister kicked him out. I just don't think it's fair because this is my place and I just want to have my peace, What should I do? I honestly kind of want to put in my 30 day notice and move out of my apartment and move in with my mom because it's just not fair that I pay the rent and my bf just stays here and has his brother stay here too. |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 08:36 AM PDT He has not apologized or owned up to the fact that he killed my mom and in the letter he insulted her through the whole thing claiming she was a cheater. However I still have a curiosity to meet him and he said he loves me. I was two years old when he killed my mother and he got life without parole. She had asked for a divorce and I know as a fact that she was not cheating despite his claims. Even his family testified in favor of my mom. However he wants to meet me and wants me to start visiting them regularly and I'm feeling tempted to go and I plan to just not bring up my mom. Is this the right approach now that I'm an adult? I'm 18. |
Question: Girlfriends Sons behavior? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 08:15 AM PDT When I first moved in , it was life as usual around the house. After some time he began to wear only his underwear around the house, which was no big deal. His mother had told me he has always done that ever since he was very young. Things started to get different from then on. My girlfriend has a 2 bedroom, one bath house and in the mornings it's impossible for all of us to use it to get ready for work an school. His mother asked me if I'd be comfortable sharing the bathroom with him in the morning. No big deal. If he made it to the shower first then I'd shave and brush my teeth etc. and then I'd get in or vice versa. After awhile , we had a comfort level built up and he would talk to me while he was showering. The shower is all glass so you're totally exposed. When I would shower , he'd do the same, and he would tend to stare at my manhood. I don't know if I'm over reacting, because I don't have kids. On Thursdays his mom has meetings in the afternoons so I pick him up after school and take him to soccer practice. There is a small locker room at the county field but he doesn't like changing in there so he strips (completely) in my truck to put his soccer clothes on. I just know when I was his age I was more modest about my body. His mom said to me the other day that , if I was comfortable with it, that I could talk to him about his body, because he's at that age where he is getting erections frequently around the house. She has told me I should take him camping/fishing. |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 08:14 AM PDT I feel like I could have reached out more to him. He had anxiety problems and seemed to have become manic and obese. When he killed himself he was in intense therapy for traumas from childhood and may have been misusing his medicine. |

Posted: 14 Mar 2017 08:09 AM PDT She calls me a liar, she says that she regrets my education, we bicker because of my phone, because of my homework, seeing as I am only 14.she calls me the dumbest thing on the earth, she says that I am disgusting.... when the fights get really angry she even hits me sometimes .... and I think I ve been suffering from this since I was eight...?..... |
Question: Ideas for sisters surprise homecoming? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 08:09 AM PDT My sister moved to Washington state over two years ago so we have only seen here a small handful of times. My younger sister also moved out of state around the same time. My mom has always said she misses having all of her girls together. This year it s a reality. She knows my younger sister will be in town for her birthday but has no idea about my older sister. I m trying to think of a unique way to surprise her. We are planning a dinner that evening so i was thinking surprise her then but I don t know. |
Question: Help! My mom is getting evicted because of my brother.? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 07:59 AM PDT So, I love with my mom and my two younger brothers. My brother who is 19 dropped out of high school and started dealing drugs. He got arrested over the summer and since we live in housing they want us out! I am a 24 year old male. I work a part time job. I've been saving up money for years to move out of my moms house one day. I told my mom that my brother was dealing drugs but she never took action and now she's being evicted because of it. My family is very dysfunctional and it's making me depressed and stressed. Any advice on dealing with this situation? |
Question: Should I remove my moms name as secondary bank account holder? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 07:44 AM PDT My mom always withdraws $20-40 a month from my account to let my brother borrow. She gives it back to me. But that's besides the point. I'm sick of her doing it thinking it's okay with me. Not my fault that my brother is poor and refuses to try better in his life. It's one of the main reasons I don't let him to my place. He doesn't come to visit. He comes to ask for money and gets upset when I tell him no. Should I go to the bank and have my account changed so she can't access anymore? If she can't afford it she has no right to take it from me, even if she gives it back. My brother needs to wake up and realize you can't go to family for money. It's called getting a job. |

Question: Mom expects too much from me.? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 06:19 AM PDT Ok so everytime I go somewhere with one of my friends and my sister goes with her boyfriend, she gets mad at me for not texting her and letting her know where we are. I'm 15 and my sisters 17.She always yells at me when I mess up something but laughs if my sister does it. When I did public school I got all A's and she put me in online school and my grades are not as good but she freaks out if I'm just 4 lessons behind but my sister is 32 lessons behind and still gets to do stuff. She never lets me go anywhere with my friends cause she wants me to stay home and practice riding. She's always me about loosing weight though my sister does way less than me and weighs just as much. Also theres a college I've always wanted to go to since I was a kid and I'm working towards it and she calls me 'stupid' and ridiculous' for wanting to go there. She never listens to my sides of stories. She also always yells at me cause I say I don't want marriage. I want to focus on education and later on, if a man comes in my life oh well but I'm not looking for it. I'm the only kid who helps around the house yet she still never leaves me alone. |
Question: He accepted my apology so what now? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 05:33 AM PDT I had been seeing a guy for a few months. We had a huge falling out because he blew me off Saturday with no explanation. Question: What do I do if my dad takes his clothes off I have friends over? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 05:32 AM PDT When my dad is drunk he walks around naked and I'm afraid he's gonna do it while my friends are over. He's not an abuser or anything as it's nothing sexual. It's just he is an alcoholic and so when he's drunk he walks around naked. I am 14 though I don't want my friends to see yet. But if I don't have them over then I can I think I like them and my mom won't let us say that he's an alcoholic. |

Question: Can a father be a hater and jealous of his son? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 05:03 AM PDT Well, I feel like i'm normal person not better than anyone and just loving what i'm doing. When I joined an engineering school or when I got some money and started flying or working out,My father gets so envious and angry on me.Plus, he tries to stop me from doing it with all his power by belittling or doubting or even telling me that he is better than me and I'm nothing.I feel like he is the biggest hater I would ever have!! I suffered a lot before when I go see my family. I started to doubt myself If I did anything that made him hates me,but nothing I can remember.I can't understand it how could a father be a hater of his son? @Zac: I took a student loan. |
Question: Is this normal for a christen man? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 04:43 AM PDT Arthur is 30 years old. He's a stay at home father of a two year old son. His girlfriend is 19 and works at a hair salon. Arthur lost his job and decided to care for his son. Arthur bathes his son, feeds his son, then reads him a bedtime story. Arthur's cousin Joe comes over. He sees Arthur has no job, and basically is the stay at home dad. Joe tells Arthur he's worthless, a failure, dumb, useless, it's pathetic she's working while he's with the children, and how God hates stay at home dads. He also adds that looks feminine due to lack of facial hair. He tells his girlfriend that Arthur is a lowlife n**** and she needs to be with a man that can provide for her, give her money, and lay the money down. He says you're too beautiful to be with someone so pathetic. - is Joe a good christen man? |
Question: My brother jerked off on me? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 02:50 AM PDT He was in the bathroom forever and I really needed to get ready for work. I was knocking on the door and telling him to hurry up. He said if I didn't stop I would regret it. I did it again and he suddenly opens the door, naked, his penis in his hand jerking it rapidly, and just ejaculates all over me. It happened so fast and I was so shocked I could barely react. When he was done he just said "told you." And left. I'm so disgusted, what do I do? I am a girl. |
Posted: 14 Mar 2017 02:48 AM PDT I am being weary of my boyfriend. Everyday he invites me to his house. Im always hoping we will talk and spend time watching tv etc. Every time he escorts me to bed. Sometimes i bring excuses but he tries his luck really hard. When his friends are there im relieved but he waits until they leave. All he does is take me to bed... sometimes i tell him lets listen to music in bed and he still starts to touch me etc.. even when i give him he asks for more even if im late for work. Is this normal? I feel sooo trapped |
Question: How can I stop my child from sucking her thumb? Posted: 14 Mar 2017 02:04 AM PDT I weaned my 5yr old from nursing at age 4, she went straight back to her pacifier, we managed to wean her from that right before her 5th birthday and now she's sucking her thumb. I've given her soft toys, changed her nighttime routine, done literally everything that's been suggested but it seems all she wants is something to suck on. She does do it during the day but mostly at night when she's sleeping. I don't want her teeth to get messed up by her thumb!!! She has been a thumb sucker her whole life but always favoured boob and pacifier over her thumb but would use it when neither of those things were around... Any ideas how to stop this habit please??? |
Question: Why does my mom think I have nudes? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 11:17 PM PDT My mom once asked how many nudes I have and I literally have none. Another time I was on YouTube in the bathroom watching JKnews & my mom accused of taking nudes because I was in there for along time. I don't know why my mom thinks I have nudes when she checked my phone a lot of times but she still accuses me of having them I don't know what I did to have put that in her mind. I think there was some spelling grammar in here. |
Question: I'm jealous of my brothers girlfriend? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 10:46 PM PDT I'm a 16 yr old girl and my brother is 20. My brother and I used to be close. But ever since he met his girlfriend a few months ago, he has been giving her ALL of his attention. They talk 24/7, and me and him NEVER talk anymore. I'm his sister, shouldn't I be closer with him than she is? Why does she get to be the one who is close with him? I miss being his friend. It's not fair because they only just met a few months ago and I don't understand how they are already in a serious relationship so fast. He completely forget about his family. |
Question: My brother never talks to me anymore? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 10:38 PM PDT Ever since he went away to college all he cares about is his friends. He never texts me, calls me, or anything. We used to be close. And now he has a new girlfriend so he will probably be giving her all of his attention. I don't know what to do? |
Question: Can anyone give me some advice? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 10:16 PM PDT I'm a 19 year old girl, who still doesn't know how to drive. I also don't own a car, and I'm always sad. I need to get back on my feet (like I ever was, lol) but I can't stand living with my parents anymore. I need to cut ties with my dad especially. He's always bullying. Like literally bullying me, since I started middle school I've been taunted by him. I've been called ugly, stupid, fat and much much more. I don't know what to do though! I have some options I could move out, and get an apartment (it would suck because I'm trying to save for a car and I'm currently learning how to drive) and I'm also going to be attending college in the fall. Which will suck more if I get an apartment and have to work loads of hours just to pay rent especially since I only make $7.25 an hour. I usually make 40 + hours now, so that's $500-$550 every 2 weeks each check. It's going to be extremely hard to balance college and work though. I still need to move out somehow. I can't be living with someone, who makes me feel like **** constantly. Could anyone please give me some advice. All of this is stressing me out, and I haven't been able to eat right or take care of myself. I haven't even talked to me friends in a while because I'm so depressed and stressed with what I'm going thru. (Sorry if my grammar is horrible. I typed this as quickly as I could for quick advice) |
Question: How do I handle feelings I have for a family friend? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 09:57 PM PDT So I'm on a vacation with my family for spring break and we're at a ski resort. Another family is here with us, too, and we have been friends with them for years, ever since I was born. They have a son who is also my age. Our parents have romanticized us ever since we were infants, but it's just now hitting me how attractive he is and now it's all I can think about! The last time I saw him was 4/5 years ago and I have absolutely no recollection of him ever being good looking. I'm not sure why I'm posting this but to sum it up: I'm finding myself having feelings for a family friend that I've known forever and I'm looking for more than a friendship? And my stepbrother and my stepmom have been nagging me about how cute he is the whole trip and it hurts because I know he doesn't feel the same way. But I think it could be a great and solid relationship. |

Im a 13 year old girl and me and my cousin caught one of the smallest ones and we killed it by isolating it from the water and putting salt all over it ,then we mixed it with mud .my mom never noticed one of them are missing haha |
Question: My dad always beats me? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 09:01 PM PDT Every time we play monopoly, he just destroys me and I'm sick and tired of it |
Question: Do my parents honestly think I have never drank? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 08:46 PM PDT I'm a freshman in college and when I was younger, I had a deal with my dad where I wouldn't drink till I was 21 and he wouldn't drink either until then. I've never partied that much, but of course by now I have gotten drunk a couple of times and drink occasionally every other month or so which is far better than most college students. But, my parents still keep talking about how in 2 years the deal is over and stuff. Like how can they honestly think that at this point in my life, I have never had alcohol? Heck, they did the same thing in college and high school. Do my parents really believe this, or do they just act like it while knowing I have, but just don't wanna know for sure? Parents please answer!!! Thanks |

Question: I'm tempted to show hatred towards my brother. I don't know what to do.? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 08:34 PM PDT So I have depression and it has gotten worse when I transferred schools because transferring schools meant losing almost all of my old friends. I wanted to go to the same school as my friends, but my dad got mad and scolded me. So I'm forced to go to a more worse school. Then came the loneliness due to being unable to make new friends at my new school. So how is my brother tied into this? Well long story short, he is a hypocrite. He wanted to go to the school I tried to go to, but my dad got mad at him too. So my mom (my parents are divorced) took us all to court and my brother said that he wanted to go to his school. Then the court relied on me to make a final choice. I stood by my brother's side through all of it because I loved him. When I tried to do the same, my brother just ignored me. He said that he wanted nothing to do with it. Of course he felt bad for my dad because he had to spend a lot on gas. But here I feel cheated. I felt backstabbed by my brother. Ever since, being around him just makes me more angry. I want him to be by my side, but at the same time I want him to piss off. I want to shout at him that I hate him. I really mean it. I just want to yell at him. I've been holding my hatred for so long. Now before you tell me to talk to my dad or my brother, that won't work because I've tried several times to the both of them. My brother doesn't understand anything and my dad just gets mad at me. I don't know what to do anymore I suddenly can only feel anger now. |
Question: Does anyone else have a family like this? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 08:23 PM PDT I feel so wrong complaining about this over the internet, but i'm just sooo very tired of this generation of social media or whatever you wanna call it. My family is absolutely obsessed with posting pictures and statuses on FB and expecting everyone in the family to "LIKE" that picture or status. If you don't people in my family will notice and will basically not "like" anything you post.. which i barely ever post anything because i'm a college student who doesn't have any time to be uploading my entire life on some BS website. **Continued.. so basically in the last few years my family has basically hasn't communicated with me because i don't like anything they post up on FB. Does anyone have friends or family like this? **Continued.. so basically in the last few years my family has basically hasn't communicated with me because i don't like anything they post up on FB. Question: How to change myself for the better? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 08:09 PM PDT I'm a 16 year old girl. I'm a good kid overall. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, throw parties behind parents' backs, sneak out of the house, or skip school. I make all A's and B's in school. BUT I'm disrespectful to my parents and I lie all the time even about little things and I never think before I speak and act. I got my phone taken away 3 weeks ago because of all that. I won't get my phone back until I change myself for the better especially how to be respectful and honest and considerate. I really want to stop being disrespectful and dishonest and inconsiderate, but I don't know HOW to stop? Can you guys help me out here? Thanks. |
Question: Daughter in law issues? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 07:55 PM PDT I have 2 daughters and one son. My daughters decided not to have children and I support it. My son and wife just had a child. My daughter in law is allergic to cats and over holidays when they would visit I have my 3 cats, my one daughter has 3 cats and my other daughter has 2 cats so there are a total of 8 cats in the house. my daughter in law asked if I would put all of the cats upstairs behind a gate while she was in the house because of her allergies. My daughters say this is horrible and that their cats are just as much a part of the family as her baby and they were very upset by this request. They said she should just take allergy medicine but she says because it is 8 cats it won't help. We came up with the idea that my son and the baby come to our house and she just spends the day at the Super 8 motel. That way it is just family and my daughters get toplay with the baby. My Daughter in law refused and says she is a working Mom and isn't going to spend the holiday alone in a Super 8 motel room while everyone else gets together. She offered to meet up in a park but its cold around the holidays so we said no. She said I should visit them but then my daughters don't get to spend time with the baby. So now my daughter in law isn't visiting and I haven't gotten to spend any time at all with the baby. How should I resolve this? My daughters say she is being too controlling and that I should not give in to her requests. I am heart broken and I have not met my only grandchild. I could never have the cats put in a separate room. My daughters consider the cats important members of the family. My daughter in law considers cats as pets and thinks her daughter is more important then cats. The whole problem would be solved if she just dropped off her baby at our house and we could have the cats and the baby and my daughters all together. I heard through the grapevine that she called my daughters crazy cat people and she certainly wouldn't trust her newborn alone with them. |
Question: Do I continue, or do I let her quit this close to the finish line? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 07:52 PM PDT My daughter is almost 19. She has special needs, so it took her a bit longer to make it through. That said, she HATES high school, even though it's mostly online. (She still meets with teachers in person weekly, though.) She keeps telling me that she'll always resent me for making her stay in school (which it's true -- I have -- I didn't give her a choice). Only two months from it being over, she's all but shut down from doing anything. The teachers work with her as long as she does the minimum, but the more leniency given, the less she does. I don't know what else to do. I'm thinking about letting her quit. She was going to move out Jun 1, anyway. Should I just let her quit? OR do you think a time will come that she'll be grateful that I stayed on her like this????? |
Posted: 13 Mar 2017 07:47 PM PDT the mother was upset when the father left her and now she won't let the boy (10yrs old) see his father. when the boy ask to see his father the mother say "don't say it again or you'll get your butt kicked." he said because she won't let him see his father is why he's not doing good in school and he'll never love his mother again |
Question: I hate my father...? Posted: 13 Mar 2017 07:20 PM PDT Sometimes I wish my dad didn't exist. He has a very cocky attitude and forgiving him is just a pain. He treats me very different from my brother, but when I protest about it he is blind to see the facts are against him and he replies back saying this isn't the case. Whenever I talk to my mom about him she defends him and says I'm a bad kid and I don't appreciate what he has done for me. I know my Dad works hard, but its very difficult being his friend or son. Everytime I see him I'm not happy or enthusiastic I just get depressed and sad. My dad doesn't hit me anymore, but he verbally abuses me by calling me a bum. He also says the students that are bullying me in school are right. He has threatened to kill me, but I defended myself. He's also said that he would rather die than get my help. Now I'm kinda scared on what will happen if I make him really angry... I just don't know what to do. I have goals set for the future and one of those goals is never seeing him again.... I know its wrong, but I've tried to have a relationship and I've endured too much pain. What should I do..? |
