My sister is 15 goes days without showering and I don't know why. Whenever I try to ask her about it she gets mad and leaves. My mom also gets mad at me when I tell my sister to go shower but I'm just caring for her. My sister is also a few pounds overweight and that maybe has something to do with it. She picks skin off her forehead, doesn't eat right, and doesn't wash her clothes often. She's so unhygienic and I am not sure why

I live with my ex's mom (my ex doesn't live here) she's my mother, seeing as I don't have one. I moved in with her awhile ago when my ex and I separated. Him and I have 2 kids together and his mom has no problem's with the kids and I living here...even though I'm pregnant with another man's baby. He's now telling me if I don't move in with him he wants the baby at his house. He just lost his job and I just don't feel comfortable moving me and all the kids into his mother's house with him...he doesn't understand. I understand his point. I get that my ex doesn't like him and it's hard for him to visit here but it's not like I can't take the baby over there. My oldest is still in school and I just feel secure with my now living arrangement. I know this is a weird situation but I don't know what to do. It's not like I don't want to get a place eventually. I just don't want to leave until we're bother stable. I'm a stay at home mom and I being 37 weeks pregnant I can't exactly find a job at this moment. This is the 2nd job he's lost in a yeas time and I just feel like we're not ready to live together. What should I do? What would you do if you were in my boat?

My sister refuses to shower and she goes days without showering I just don't know why. This has been going on for a while and whenever I ask her she gets mad and leaves the room. She also doesn't want other people to know. This has been going on for a while. She turned 15 recently and she is a few pounds overweight and maybe that has something to do with it. I know I must work on myself and do things to try to prevent anxiety. So by no means am I saying that I can just sit around and play victim all day. However there is no support from family. When I get worried about things like "my parents might keep me in the dark about family events" my father says "let it go I'm not saying anything further" and he put his hand up. You always compares my OCD to alcoholism. My obsessions often involve relationships as I was bullied in school and now I fear people which is my family is so important to me. Also my mom does not get along with parts of her family so it keeps me in the dark when they invite us over. He thinks it's a compulsion to see family but it is not even though I do talk about it too much. I am very uncomfortable with their ignorance. I live on my own and I've generally just come to avoid them because of their ignorance. What do I do? I'm too old to have any kind of a family meeting with the doctor as I'm 30 but I want to have the right words to say to them that might enlighten them from some of their ignorance even though the always have some of it. My dad is a lot more ignorant than my mom. However my mom is always trying to hold me back from family just like when I was a kid and therefore she's no help in this kind of thing.

For some reason my parents tend to use very small thing for excuses for not buying me things like "pocket money? No you bought a game this week" then fair enough but the other day my parents bought me a new desk chair I had been asking for for months, and they said it can be a summer present and they said nothing about debt, but as soon as I got my school report (which was almost all As or A**) and I wanted to play on my Xbox on a school night she said that my report went towards my chair and called me spoilt, who is out of order me or my parents?

i personally think it's a little unfair that my 21 year old brother was allowed to do more things when he was in middle school. I'm 12 and i've noticed that my parents do kind of treat me a bit differently than my brother sometimes. My brother says he notices it sometimes too ,my parents are more strict with me than they were with him. I've had people tell me that parents tend to set different rules for girls,but isn't that kind of...unfair? It should depend on their age and what kind of personality they have,also whether theyre honest kids or not. I don't remember my brother as a 12 year old very well, but he said that our parents didnt talk to him about rape or bad stuff happening as much,and he was allowed to go to the movies without adults. i know that if the parents dont care about their kids ,they can get in trouble and have them taken away somewhere else if it goes too far. My family is giving me a graduation party because I am graduating with my masters and got into law school. Yet, I just want a quite little dinner with siblings/nieces and nephews, parents and my husband. Yet my mom and dad are spending 2,500 on a graduation party inviting in-laws and friends ect. I am grateful for the them thinking about me but would rather take that money put it towards rent or go on a vacation...something more practical. I'm an adult guy and unfortunately lives with parents.Despite my imperfection i try and do what i can. My dad is negative o me no matter what i do. Okay I'm 13, and I love god family friends and surprise : school . I'm a 29-year-old man, and according to my parents, that means my time for marriage is ticking. According to them, happiness is getting married, having kids, and living a boring life. I don't see the point of marriage because one, my parents always argued and took their anger out on us (nothing physical, just a lot of yelling) but never got divorced because it's taboo in our society. I think my mum regrets having me. She struggled for 10 years to have me and desperately wanted children but now she seems to just resent me. She never wants to do anything with me and never supports or encourages me. I'm not allowed out after school or weekends to see my friends ever. I was never allowed to do after school clubs as my mum couldn't be bothered with all the hassle and doesn't drive so I couldn't get there and back. Long story short, my father passed away almost 3 years ago from cancer, so its just my mother, younger brother and I living at home. Now, my relationship with my mother has gone downhill ever since my father passed away. About two months after his passing, my mother brings this random guy home to introduce him to us, and to me it seemed pretty suspicious that she brings home this guy so soon while my brother and I are still grieving. From then on all we do is argue. She's been bringing home different guys but recently, for the first time she brought home a guy whom she knows is currently married and has children, yet she brings him home to "satisfy" her needs. Right now I am disgusted and dont want to do anything with her. I confronted her about it and told her how uncomfortable my younger brother and I are knowing that we can ******* hear them almost every night and she doesnt seem to care and that she says its her life and she can do whatever she wants. Right now im 17 weeks pregnant and I don't want my child to be raised in my father's house that she's treating as a frickin brothel. My mum never lets me go out with my friends. Never. I'm 15 and can only see them at school and I'm not allowed around their houses after school or anything. I have to come straight home and even after I've done all my homework I'm not allowed out. She makes me go to bed ridiculously early too. She did this when I was at Primary school too and I would be sent to bed after tea and would hear my friends playing outside in the street and it would still be daylight. Whenever I ask can I please go out she just says no and gets angry so I don't ask again. I want to move out. I m 24 and in college. I work full time also. I want to move to the city and closer to a college. I don t have a probelm managing my money. The only probelm is my parents are in debt. I didn t know until I told them I was going to move out soon. I give them $250 a month for rent just staying there and I buy groceries. I help them with other bills if they need it. I really want to move, but I don t want them to be in a finacal bind. My eldest sibling has told lies about one of his younger siblings to the sister who will in turn go against that sibling and take photos of him for the eldest sibling to use for his evil cause, which is to ensure that the sibling who missed out is to always be blacklisted in error as a result of the eldest sibling throwing his own lies into the mix. This has been happening towards me ever since I missed out on a metro/feminization program and that I had defamed myself which caused some people to blacklist me in error before these people had asked my eldest sibling questions about me, inadvertently giving him extra power he had no right to in the first place. My eldest sibling also has an unhealthy obsession with our sister and maybe one of the reasons why he made her go against a family member. I was already a victim of defamation back in 2010 that had only spread for the many years ahead before any of these happened to me, and my eldest sibling acting like a clown by throwing his own lies about me into the mix will only make my pre-existing situation much worse.

Well it was a bit of my fault he hit me, i was on my phone waiting for my sister to come out of the bathroom. When he tried to tickle me and i smacked him telling him to go away but he got mad and which i stood up and he began trying to hit me. Well his parents are odd I can say that much. He respects me and has told me that he has no interest in going to clubs because I'm the only woman he wants to see, and he doesn't want to go out an drink because his birth parents were alcoholics and he doesn't want to put me or our future children in any potential danger. However he has not comunicated this with his parents. For his birthday they are taking him to a bar and are going to force him to get drunk, and have even implied taking him to a strip club after getting him good and drunk. I have made myself sick thinking about this, he's already told them that he will leave if they take him to a club and that he is uncomfortable with the bar. He paused for a while, and finally said "yes". It's still a bit of a shock to me, and I'm mad at him for not telling me, and mad at my mother for keeping this from me and my brother as well. So my boyfriend and I have been togeter for 3 years and he hasnt had a relationship with his mom for almost 5 years. She hit him when he was a child and cheated on his dad... Needless to say he has held a grudge for years. She now is trying to re-enter his life. We had been going to church so he is talking about forgiveness. We are now talking about marriage and i dont want his mother to interfere with anything in our lives. Should i except her with open arms or not get attached?

my brother was adopted at birth because our parents couldn't have children. then about a year later our mom got pregnant with me. he's 16 and I'm 14 (male). this has never been an issue. but last week we were having a fight and I said something I'll regret for the rest of my life. It was something like "I wish my parents had left you in the crackhouse they found you". he got really serious and left. I tried to apologize but he kept giving me the silent treatment. my parents noticed something was going on between us and I eventually told them what I'd said. They had a talk with the two of us. Besides the fact that I'm grounded for the rest of my life, my brother is still very hurt. He said (during that conversation with our parents) that they are his real parents, but he no longer thinks of me as his brother. my parents are devastated, and so I am. I'm sure he didn't mean it and just wants to punish me, and I deserve that, but I really need him to forgive me. I'm out of ideas, what else can I do?

My 12 year old brother's curfew is 11pm. He can go out with friends to the movies. He's allowed to ride the public transits alone. I can barely do any of that because and I just turned 15! Where we live, he's still in elementary school till 7th grade. My mom overprotects me because I'm a girl. She never allows a male tutor to be with me in a room alone and she monitors my social media pages a LOT. But my brother is almost never monitored. She's always telling me these stories about kids getting raped, kidnapped, and abducted. My curfew is 8:30pm and she told me that when I'm a senior, she will be there to supervise my prom and I will not be allowed to attend any after prom parties. Mostly because I'm a girl and she thinks I will lose my virginity. I'm only in 9th grade now. Since we're Canadians luckily prom isn't such a big deal here. She's reluctant to let me go to the bus or the library alone because she says predators often hang out there. My dad is working in another country so he's not here. To be honest, I think my brother has too much freedom for his age. A lot can happen during 11pm especially since we live in a big city with lots of drug dealers and people who are out of control. It's not a nice, safe town and people barely know each other in such a big place..in fact, our city is actually known for sex offenders and drug dealing especially in downtown and older areas. My mom expects me to be better behaved too

Question: My family counselor that my school got for my family won't leave us alone.?

Let's just say our family had problems before, but after everything was good again, we want to cancel this family counseling, but she won't leave us alone. Even though everything is good, I asked my school counselor if we could get rid of her, she said "but she's good for you" So I trusted her. But honestly she gives me anxiety and stress, because she keeps reminding our family of past problems. She also made this schedule and if I don't follow it, she'll get mad and report it to the school. Me and my parents have to sign it every week and return it to her on Wednesday. Also since the meeting is in another high school, I have to bike there (My parents go their directly from work). Which takes 20 mins, and then I have to stay there for one hour talking about small and useless problems (we don't have any at ALL). She also makes my parents go to her "class" where she teaches them how to be "good" parents, so she wastes their work problems. I honestly would appreciate if she would just leave us alone, because I think she's the "problem" now. Well I want to get rid of her (not to be mean) but she won't :/

I would like to note firstly that I am eighteen and I am not religious nor is my family. My room is directly one wall away from the front room and I intentionally moved to the opposite side of the room to prevent my family hearing me. I recently got a new toy in the mail that I bought yesterday and tonight was the second night I got to use it. Having different settings and what-not, I meant to turn on the vibration which instead I turned on the sh*ft, which is extremely loud! Literally a second after turning it on, I heard a knock on my door which I ignored. I have been called out around a year or two ago for moaning loudly. I'm 18 year old girl. My family is crazy and wants to throw me out over nothing. They always hated me. They treat me like deliquescent. I have good grades and am trying best to graduate HighSchool. They stopped feeding me and I only made 12.00 or 10 from my pathetic job which I barely managed to get after looking two years. They argue and tonight I asked my grandfather not to move my pot on stove and he said he'll hit me on the head with it and mom yelled at me telling me to go to my room and turned off show I was watching saying she's changing password to TV. My grandma tends to talk about me in bad way trying to fire me up. I always usually confront her and we argue. I know that girls with Asperger's Syndrome tend to be misdiagnosed or simply ignored, but is there a chance that my daughter manifests some symptoms? She's 13 but doesn't want to talk with other kids. She doesn't want to go anywhere and would rather stay home all weekends or all school breaks on her computer. Her teachers have always mentioned how shy she is in class but praises her for being so well-mannered and smart. I have seen her around other kids and she doesn't talk to them at all. She just looks around at them. Around her cousins, she's the same way. She's a chatterbox around me(her mom) and her dad, but with everyone else, she's very quiet. She does not smile nor like to be hugged by anyone but me, even her dad. She also has a habit of ranting on and on about subjects, such as religion, wars, politics-- things you wouldn't suspect a 13 year old girl to talk about. She always speaks like a novelist or philosopher at times. Her vocabulary is almost impeccable for her age. Here is just one of our conversations, "I can't fathom how adults can conceive of such ideals for the youth. Sure, goals are the essence of human existence, but the older generations view them as the absolute truth. They can't realize that the weight of those ideals shall one day collapse the world, crumbling it into bitter pieces of despair." What worries me is that she easily get temper tantrums when she is mad. I don't want her hurting herself. Besides that, she's an intelligent girl.

My mom and dad owns a business and the guy lives with us, works for them, doesn't pay bills, doesn't buy food, and I have to take care of his son. I am sick of them being here. I am steadily cleaning up after his son plus HIM. I am sick of him. My dad has been complaining a lot about him at hight. I have walked into my mom and dad's room a lot and heard him talking about wishing he would do more around the house and help with the bills and is tired of him being in the way of our family. I am currently living under my mother's custody, yet my twin and I would really prefer to live with our Father who has joint-custody of us. We are currently 16 turning 17 this May yet we've been physically and mentally abused by our mother ever since our parent's divorce which was back in 2006. Our mother has been arrested once for abusing us because we reported it to CPS back in 2014. Yet after our father has fought for having full-custody at the time of her hearing, the judge decided we would be safer with our mother, even though we had bruises and scars showing her years of abuse. They sent her to therapy in hopes of her changing, but she never did. She still mentally abuses us and would hit us but would try not to leave any evidence of it. Our father has remarried in 2009, and our stepmother has been very nice to us and treats us like if we were her own. Mind you, she has a daughter who is 3 years older than us and we see her as an actual sister. Our mother would use us against our dad, and she would constantly talk bad about our step mother and step sister. She has also lied to us about why they divorced, and would try feeding us lies about how our dad wouldn't pay child support or would claim that our father doesn't love us. Yet we visit our father during christmas, spring break, and summer times and he would prove her wrong. We live in Florida with our mother, yet we want to live in Texas with our father. Is there anything we could do about this?

For years my life has been all I could have ever wanted. Parents have always been so involved with both me and my brother. Me and my brother were given a decent amount of freedom and never abused it. Parents were always very involved and suppportive . And then it was time to move to college, we packed everything up and left. The four of us moved me in out of a stereotypical tv scene. My brother dad and I were carrying things up the stairs and my mom was organizing the room. When i went home for Thanksgiving and winter break, i saw al my old friends and my family and nothing felt different at all. I had very warm welcomes from my family. Here I am, a week before my 19th birthday, i just got back to school from spring break. My mom's email was logged onto my computer from something she needed over break. over break we celebrated my birthday as a family and my parents said they are going to come up next week for my birthday. I was sitting in class and noticed an email titled "seperation agreement." I thought no way as my heart sank through the floor and clicked on it, . Low and behold the email talked about reviewing this document with their divorce lawyers one more time before signing. I immediately left the class and my heart was pounding. This cam e out of no where and i cannot believe this is happening. I almost don't believe it. Why wouldn't they tell me anything, as it appears any day they are going to be seperated

Alright, this isn't to bad. But, to me, it's pretty bad. My brother just kinda walked in on me lip syncing to a weird song with my headphones on and I didn't see him so he just stood there staring and then I got scared so I yelled SUPER loud "OH HI" and I say I hate music (don't ask why) so I'm scared he's gonna tell someone and make it even more awkward. Can I hide this all happening?..
