Okay so I've been friends with Jimmy for 2 year and he has had some depressed feeling along the way but I was always there for him. We had basically all classes in 8th grade and 9th so I was always with him ,and I hung at with him at lunch, even after school I'm always there to give him advice and stuff. I'm the only one who literally cares about him. The both of us haven't agreed on any plans as of yet but we're just thinking out loud about it. I am 19 and my boyfriend is 20, we're about 4 hours away traveling by plane. I brought this plan casually up to my mother to see what her reaction would be an I totally get where she's coming from, I'm not disagreeing with her. Of course she's skeptical and wants to make sure my boyfriend is true to who he really is and make sure he's not a bad person, and that goes the same with my dad. From talking with my boyfriend, he doesn't seem in anyway bad. But like I said, I get where my parents are coming from. They want to make sure I'm safe. My mother told me she would take it into consideration but she would really have to think about it. It seemed like at first he really liked me but I think he's just flirty with a lot of girls. The past two weeks he's always specified the day he will see me next as in "ok I'll see you Thursday" or "will you be around tomorrow?" (As in at the gym). Rather than just saying "see you later" as a normal reply would be or how he would normally act. What does that mean?
