Question: Is okay to wedding dress shop alone? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 11:06 PM PDT There's not really anyone I desire to come with. I'd rather my fiancé to be there but people have got on me for saying that. I'm considering taking my future sister-in-laws and mother-in-law because I'm close with them. This is turning into a nightmare. Help? |
Question: Is this considered a destination wedding? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 10:46 PM PDT We live in New York City but we're having our wedding in cape cod. Is that considered a destination wedding ? |
Question: Historic wedding venues in California? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 09:14 PM PDT I want to get married in a historical building from when Spain occupied California but I'm not catholic and I can't find a place that will host secular weddings (especially as it will be a gay wedding) |
Question: When someone has a destination wedding....? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 08:00 PM PDT Do first cousins get invited? My first cousin is getting married my mom is unsure if the rest of the first cousins will be invited because it's a destination wedding and those weddings are usually small. |
Question: What are the best and worst gifts you have received as a bridesmaid? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:30 PM PDT I want to do something original but useful OR funny but I do not want to settle for the same things that most brides buy their bridesmaids. What are the best and worst gifts you have received? Any original ideas? |
Question: Have you ever had to postpone a wedding? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 12:59 PM PDT Why did you postpone? How did your fiancé react? How did your parents react? How did you notify the guests, church, bridal party etc.? Did you eventually reschedule? |
Question: My mother needs to butt out of my wedding? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 09:09 AM PDT I was raised Catholic. I don't consider myself Catholic. My mother is a very strong Catholic. She's insistent I get married in the Catholic Church. My fiancé and I do not want to do that. She's insulted my fiancé and his family on numerous occasion about Catholicism being the only "true" religion. She threw a fit when my cousin got married from the justice of the peace. It's starting to really get on my nerves. I've asked her to please butt out on numerous occasions. Does anyone have any other advice? It's putting a bit of a strain on our relationship. Thanks. |
