Question: How many to a table in 51 person wedding? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 07:25 PM PDT I know it's an odd number so I'll have to add someone to one of the tables but besides that, what's the perfect number? 10 and have 5 tables? Or 5 and have 10 tables? |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:44 PM PDT Customizable for the bridesmaids (putting their name on the dress sticker in some kind of way) These are what I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZ595S6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_hPEXybYMMQE1R Any way to decorate with cursive names?? |
Question: My step sister is angry that I missed her wedding? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:26 PM PDT I had an urgent business to attent to. And I sent a gift. I also apologized. I know it's seems bad, but she's not even my real sister. She shouldn't make a big deal out of this. |
Question: Is 17 too young to be engaged? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 02:57 PM PDT So I found out earlier today that this girl I work with is engaged. She is 17 and the youngest person we have. Not sure how old her fiance is, but what's more is that they've only dated about a month. Not only do I think they (well at least she) are too young, but I also think it's WAY too soon to be engaged. Remember Anna and Hans got engaged after they FIRST MET, and look how that ended up. And I know a great deal of people in their 20s/30s who STILL aren't married and they've been together for months, even years. If I ever get invited to THAT wedding, I won't be going, as it's ridiculous. What's your opinions? |
Question: Why can't people be more considerate when it comes to planning a wedding? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:29 PM PDT I know that I'm never entitled to an invite, much less to dictate what others do, but I'm still allowed to find certain things rude: 1) Destination weddings in faraway places. Destination weddings are fine, but not everyone can afford to fly to Bora Bora for a wedding. 2) Having a dry wedding. Just because you are a teetotaler doesn't mean everyone else is. Others should have the liberty to imbibe. If I can give you a wedding gift and my presence in your special day, you can give me some booze....even if that means having a cash bar. 3) Having it during major events - during the holidays, during the superbowl, etc. SO F***ING RUDE. I declined an invite to a wedding ON suberbowl sunday. Who the f*** schedules a wedding on superbowl sunday??? 4) Having it in the middle of summer - I live in Houston....NOBODY here wants to wear a mother f***ing suit in the middle of summer! It makes me SO F***ING ANGRY when people do this!! In San Francisco, it's one thing. New York - ok. But in places that are hot??? Telling me "You can always decline an invite" isn't going to help me. I already know that I can - but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to find it rude Oh, I also find it rude when they refuse to allow for a +1. You may be getting married, but that doesn't mean all your guests are unattached. |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:14 AM PDT Help! My fiancé and I are 24 years old and have been engaged for 2 years and have been planning to have our wedding this summer (in 4 months). We both work part time with him being a full time college student as well. Neither of us make much money at the moment and are pretty much paying for this ourselves. We jut ought our first house together and are now unexpectedly needing a different car. There is so much to pay for just to survive aside from paying for a wedding right now. I hate to use my small savings I have because if something happens between now and when he graduated in 10 months we are screwed. Neither of our parents can help with a money emergency. Anyways, what do we do? I already bought a dress and done all of the Catholic marriage prep. My bridesmaids have gotten dresses and i already paid a photographer also I have told people we were having a wedding. Now things are adding up and are so expensive. I had no idea!!!! I also didn't plan on getting a different car! I tried doing research to cut costs but it says cut guest list and that's not an option since he has 15 siblings most of which are married with kids. What would you do!? Ugh I just want to marry this man we have been together for 8 years since we were teenagers! I am literally becoming sick and depressed.. |
