She later filed for a divorce and a couple of days before court date she got arrested for neglecting my children. I was not aware of the arrest and so DCF took my children and gave them to my mother. My mom and I do not have a relationship, she neglects me when I was 2 years old and until this day we are not close. I received a call yesterday regarding my children and I called DCF, they told me they were looking for me and was unable to locate me. The social worker told me to go get my kids, as I drove to my mother to get my children, the DCF lawyer called me and told me I cannot get my children until appear in court.
