Question: How do I sneak out at night? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:50 PM PDT Im a 12 year old girl from New Zealand and my online friend who is 16 came to visit me all the way from America. He said he'll just spend one night with me cuz he and his parents are going back to the US soon and it will be impossible to meet after that since were in different countries and my parents wont let me go there. Im planning on meeting up with him at the local park tomorrow night and we can go eat something together or go to the urban big cities because he hasnt ever been to the big cities in my country. I sleep in a basement and I can easily go out the window without hurting myself too badly. But idk if my parents will notice. Theyll probably assume im in the washroom if im not sleeping but ill be gone for a few hours. Please help me with this situation,we might only be able to meet once in a lifetime unless if i ever go to America for vacation but even then my parents would never let me wander off alone in a unfamiliar place. His parents wont know because theyre in separate hotel rooms. Im desperate to meet him cuz weve been talking online for three months and i don't have many friends in real life |
Question: Why do girl decide to ignore you? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:46 PM PDT Recently my friend has been ignoring me for what appears to be no reason. I'm positive I didn't do or say anything that could have offended her but all of a sudden she's been ignoring me despite the fact we've been friends for a year and began talking a lot more often a few weeks ago. Could I have possibly done something? |
Question: Why did friends mum purposely mock me? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:40 PM PDT I went for dinner at a friends house and her mum said when we were at the dinner table "that's an interesting surname you have there... how do you spell it?" It starts with BO and as soon as I started to spell it they both started laughing at me. She kept going on about how unusual my name is and where it had originated from. I found it very personal and uncomfortable at the table, especially when they started to laugh. Anyone have a clue what her motive was? |
Question: What clique am I in? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:19 PM PDT I am a freshman girl and always wondered what clique I am in. It is hard to tell myself because, well, it's my life! All of my friends play sports. I am with some close knit girls. A great deal of my friends are known to be popular. I hang out with my friends a lot. I do really well in school- am ranked first in my class. I am also really pretty (not to sound like a narcissis). I used to be quiet and shy but I had a classic nerd makeover. Lost the braces and glasses. Started caring about my appearance. Any idea of where I am on the high school social pyramid/what clique I might be in? |
Question: My old friend won't talk to me or acknowledge me? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:10 PM PDT So this is something that has been really annoying me recently and I want to talk/vent about it. So I'm in my schools show (school musical) and I have a fun time but there's someone in this show that I used to be good friends with but then we didn't talk for a while and she just doesn't acknowledge me at all anymore. So me and my friend were good friends for a year because we did lots of shows together and we talked and had a fun time but then (she's a bit older then me) we didn't see each other for about a year and we lost touch and when I auditioned for my school show and got in I and noticed she did too and I was like yay! We can catch up and hang out again. But for some reason....she just won't talk to me....I see her at rehearsal all the time and she never talks to me. And I'VE tried talking to her but she just doesn't acknowledge me. I'll be like "hey!" or "your costumes cute!" and she just awkwardly nods her head or pretends like she didn't hear me. And I've asked other people show about her and they all say she's the sweetest person they know or how she's not like that. I never said anything bad about her because we were good friends. And if someone told her something about me you'd think she would talk to me about it? It's just really weird and kind of annoying because everyone talks to her and likes her but for whatever reason she has a grudge against me? |
Question: Why would he delete my friend request and not block me? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 04:36 PM PDT My former boss has a girlfriend but he and I were flirty with each other at work. He recently got fired and his sitting by me and paying attention to me may have been part of the reason.I tried to friend him to show my support and he deleted my friend request but did not block me. Why would he delete my friend request and not block me? |
Question: Is this a true friend? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 04:13 PM PDT Your friend tells you they are here for you if you need to talk about what's wrong. You tell them what's wrong (you are jealous of your crush's friends spending time with him) your friend doesn't want to be friends with you anymore. You feel like you can't talk to them about your problems because they will turn psycho and be rude to you. |
Question: How do I end our friendship without hurting her? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 04:07 PM PDT We met last aug and became really good friends. She started flirting with me, touching my arms, stroking my face etc and in dec I told her how I felt. She said she felt the same but was scared of getting hurt bc she had been cheated on 3 times prev. She also suffers from anxiety due to a rough childhood. We cont to stay friends and she suggested on multiple occasions we sleep together. She had fwb with guys in the past and blamed them for using her even after she suggested it. Over time it started to feel more like she was not putting any effort into our friendship and that I cared more about her then she did for me. She also kept draghing me along and made it seem like she wanted to be my gf. All of a sudden two wks back she says she always only saw me as a friend and nothing more. I felt like she lead me on and for this and other reasons I told her we can't be friends. We talked after that and she apologized but I still felt like she was beimg dishonest as she had always been. I have made a decision to end our friendship for gd but I am afraid she might hurt herself. She considered me her best friend and the last time I ended it, I did not see her in school for over a week. I obv still care about her but I have no other choice |
Question: How to make friends as a 20 year old in college? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 04:00 PM PDT I moved back home to the US (Houston, TX) right before starting college after my dad was temporarily stationed . The thing is, I go to college in another city so when I come back to Houston for the break I have no friends. How do I make friends around here? |
Question: Is it wrong to block a few people you know? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:55 PM PDT There's a few people I know from campus but we are not in the same classes, nor studying the same thing, hardly see each other or spend time with each other, I don't even have their numbers so we never chat or even talk in person...I just sometimes see them around and say "hi" that's it. They are also not at all my type. I only have them on instagram and I find them really annoying. Was wondering if its ok to block them because its annoying me. |
Question: Can a friendship be abusive? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:36 PM PDT Hi, i'm a 13 year old girl. I just revently broke it off with my bestfriend of 7 years. You could call our friendship an off again/on again relationship as we fight a lot. But I feel like it's over for real this time. It's not even like I feel sad, in a way I do, because I can probably never experience nice moments with her but I also feel relieved. She always gets mad at me, saying that she feels that she does everything in our friendship. For example, she says that she always texts me first (which is true but whenever I text her she's always busy so I don't know when.) and she also demands I look for her e every lunch break because she spends hers looking for me. Then she gets angry at me because she finds me sitting with other friends of mine. It's like she doesn't want me to have any other friends, and claims that it's not true. Even though it probably is, why else would she complain so much? And it's not like we never spend our breaks together, almost every day... Another thing is that she says I don't care about her, which is so not true. I have ALWAYS been there for her, and now she says I haven't. While she is the one with the dumb jokes where she hits me, one time she pranked me and says she hated me. It sucks because I also have anxiety. I'm happy I left but now I'm afraid I'll go back again. And I'm starting to doubt my decision. I'm even starting to think that she was right. What should I do? Btw, sorry if my english is bad... |
Question: Why would someone add you again on Facebook? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:21 PM PDT This guy I use to be friends with on Facebook added me again a few days ago. (We've been talking on Kik) But in the past he has deleted and blocked me when we argue. Usually I'm the one who sends him a friend request. But this time he sent me one what does that mean? |
Question: Is it strange for a 40-yr-old man to pursue only a friendship with a 25-yr-old woman? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:10 PM PDT I have a friend who is 40 and we get along incredibly well, despite our age difference. We've gotten very close since about a year ago when we met but it's purely a platonic friendship. And no, he's not gay. He has complimented my looks, so I don't think he's necessarily unattracted to me. He has a girlfriend, his age, and is faithful so we are just good friends and he was the one who really approached me for a friendship. A lot of people I know have told me it's a "red flag" that a guy so much older than me wants to be just friends with me (that most guys that age just want a girl my age to sleep with and take advantage of so our type of emotional bonding friendship is very weird)-- Why? I don't get it. Do you guys agree? If so, what does that signal? I don't get how that can be a "bad thing" or something to be aware of. |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:07 PM PDT I have no friends, I have nothing but drama in my life, everybody is a ****, my life is so unfuckingstable, I'm fat, I have depression issues, and I generally just don't want to live anymore. Can SOMEBODY find a silver lining? |

Question: My friend ruined my birthday...? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 02:11 PM PDT So I had a party yesterday, and my friend was deciding everything and being a flat out b*tch. She controlled everything and my mom called her out for it, saying she was a spoiled brat, which she is and did acted like. So, my friend screams "F*CK YOU!" at my mom. My mom gave up trying to fight with her. Then all my friend did was cry the entire night. We're teenagers, yet she acts like she's 5 sometimes. She ruined my entire party and I know it's selfish but I still feel like crap because of it. What can I do? |
Question: Seriously: Is it normal that MOST people are not likable? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:47 PM PDT I'm curious. Do you think it's more normal to be UNLIKABLE vs. Likable? Here's my quick back story: I wasn't popular as a teen, but who is? But once I graduated college and moved out as an adult, I got lucky right away and made friends quickly. But when I moved again at age 27, I felt into my current hard reality (I'm 35 now!!!)—I'm not "likable". Most people I meet don't care to know me, or befriend me. But: I think this is actually the norm for most people. Most people are not "likable", right? Thanks. |
Question: Moving Away: Which is worse? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:41 PM PDT When one friend moves away from the other, which is worse, to be the one moving or to be the one left behind? |
Question: How do I handle this problem. She's a good friend but to needy I think? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:12 PM PDT My friend will text me literally every Single day from the minute she gets up to the minute she goes to bed . If I don't answer her she's like what's wrong. I don't mind texting her but god I need time to myself too . She checks everything on my fb the minute I add some guy on fb she texts me and goes who is that . Why did u add him . She even checks who likes my stuff . When I talk to my crush or even say hi to this guy I like she gets all jealous. It's really weird . She's even told me this guy doesn't like me meanwhile he says hi to me when he can or when I say hi to him he doesn't ignore me and we have talked more than that . All she does is complain all day long it's beyond annoying. It's at the point where I even put do not disturb on my phone . She's a great friend and would do anything for me but it's like so overwhelming at times. |
Question: I'm desperately in need of someone to talk to but no one is here? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:10 PM PDT For almost all of my life, I've been scared of my parents. They used to hit me every few days or so, but they don't really anymore. Still, I am scared to be in the same room as them. They yell at me and call me names and try to degrade me all the time. I no longer feel safe at home and I have very few friends so not really anywhere else to go. I've tried going to my guidance counselor at school but I found that she just made things worse. I play softball and I've thought of going to my coaches before, but I'm not sure? Oh, another thing I forgot to mention is that my parents fight all.the.time. They blame it solely on me, to the point where I truly believe it is about me. I am not sure what I am doing that is wrong. I get straight As at school, I'm generally nice to everyone, and I'm very respectful. They always threaten to get a divorce, and sometimes, I want them to. I'm not sure what to do, or where to go. I'm only a freshman in high school. |
Question: Should I meet this platonic online friend in person? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:01 PM PDT I am 18 years old and I am straight and this guy is 2 years older than me, but he is gay. I met him through MeetMe. MeetMe is a dangerous app full of fakes and most fakes are gays guys and weirdos on there, but this gay guy I talk to was not hitting on me or anything. MeetMe is not primarily a dating site. It is a site to meet actual friends. I am straight and we just want to know each other as friends. I like video games, the outdoors, being funny, and I was in marching band. This guy I talk to was in marching band as well and he loves music and he is in theater. He says I am chill and he takes interest in knowing me. He is completely real, we exchanged Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat and he has a lot of pictures on there that actually get decent amount of likes. He does not have mutual friends on Facebook, but he has Facebook friends that have mutual friends of my Facebook. I have never met an online friend before in person and we made arrangements to meet up tomorrow and we do not live far. He had met online friends before. I am gonna pick him up and we are gonna meet at the mall. He seems outgoing and i am shy, reserved, and nervous. But my brother told me, "Don't meet men off the internet." I understand that this guy is gay (which can scare me at times), but I know he is normal and real and we are keeping this strictly platonic and I am not attracted to him but he is not a weirdo trying to hit on me. We've each others pics and we both can prove we are real. |
Question: What does it mean if he looks at me from a distance? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 12:59 PM PDT We used to talk a lot, I thought we were friends and got along pretty well. All of sudden, he began to avoid me, acted very mean, and walked away if I was near by. I thought, well he hates me now. But, I noticed that he looked at me from a distance a few times, it's almost like a stare (for several seconds at least), I'm not sure if he knew I saw him looking at me, that made me quite uncomfortable, so I looked away. I'm confused, he seems trying so hard to not be close to me, work with me. What is this? |
Question: Should I reach out to my former friend? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 12:39 PM PDT We haven't spoken in 3 years, and we didn't end on the best of terms. The other day, a Facebook friend of mine posted something about not taking loved ones for granted that made me think of this. I'm not sure if we could be on the same level of friendship we had before, but I'd like to apologize for how things ended and how there were a few things I never got to tell her. Should I try contacting her? |
Question: Choosing a Best Man for a Wedding, Please Help? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 12:35 PM PDT Hi, I'm a 27 year old guy who is engaged. I have a Godfather who is 25 years older than me. He is my first cousin's husband. Ever since I was like 18 and single, he has been mentioning to my dad and myself that he can't wait to be the best man at my wedding, that he will do an amazing job, etc. But, I really want my best friend who is around my age to be my best man. I feel like it will be more fun, we're closer, we actually talk way more than me and my Godfather, and we see each other almost every day since we even work together. But my mom is telling me that it's going to be very rude and cause fights among the family if I don't choose my Godfather as my best man. What should I do? |
Question: How do i hang out with friends? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 11:37 AM PDT i generally feel excluded when it comes to my friend group. i have a couple friends and we always plan stuff but nothing ever happens |
Question: How can I go from being acquaintances to being friends? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 11:33 AM PDT I have this one person who works a lot of hours and only has two days off. He is really nice and we text and hangout every once in awhile. He actually just invited me to his birthday party which I went to yesterday. I want to be his friend, but the problem is we both have gotten into the same routine when we hangout of talking about "hey how are you?" "how is work" "what are you going to do today" and some misc stuff but nothing that flows. What can I do to change things up and keep the conversation flowing rather then falling back into old habits? |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 11:15 AM PDT I met my "friend" in august through crosscountry.we started running together and talking, he has deaf mom and no dad. I stared hanging out with him and giving him rides and giving him money and getting him clothes. He criticizes almost everything I do and believe in, I don t do that to him. He brings his boyfriend to my house and does stuff with him and won t talk to me at my house. He comes to my house after I tell him not to, he texts my mom and uses her and hangs out with her and my family (we both in high school and I m lesbian he s gay) I don t want him to be my friend anymore, never really did. He uses me and my family, I can t explain a lot of things because I can t type it all. But he has replaced me in my family, my family won t hang with me but with him they will, they won t pay for things for me but will for him. I ve had issues with mental health and he is triggering it. My mom won t listen to me, how do I get rid of him. |
Question: Embarrassed that I barely have friends? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 11:12 AM PDT So, I am 24. I have always been shy and had social anxiety to an extent. I went through various friend groups in my life. I have had the bad habit of once I get in a relationship, not keeping up my friendships. I just broke up with a boyfriend of 2 years, and am starting to maybe see another guy I used to date in high school. He went away to college and looks like he has tons of friends and fun experiences. He is now coming back to our hometown and we are reconnecting I stayed at home and went to community college and made friends at some jobs, but they haven't really stuck. Now I'm working in an office with way older people and find my social life isn't really there anymore. I am trying to get in touch more with high school friends and old work friends. But I am embarrassed of not having many friends and want to have more, but think it might be awkward to reconnect with people when I let the friendship die... |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 11:10 AM PDT There was 3 people who broke my heart when I wanted to be friends with them. The first girl thought I was weird. The second girl thought I was being annoying for trying to be her friend. The third girl blocked me on twitter for asking her why would she say she has no friends. She was implying me and her aren't friends. They were all sophomores. The fourth girl is a senior and she just seems a little uninterested in being friends with me. I am a freshman. She just seems uninterested because if you actually want to be friends with someone you would make a effort, and she isn't making an effort. Also I asked her does she actually want to be friends and she said "I don't mind if we are friends." The thought of not minding if you are friends with someone and actually wanting to be friends with someone really scares me. Should I just stop trying. I also wanted to be friends with the fourth girls best friend but her best friend seems uninterested. She is also a senior. She doesn't make an effort with being friends with me either. They both are kind of awkward, and I am also awkward. Her best friend seems like she tries to get away from me. |
Question: I am jealous of my bestfriend? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 10:49 AM PDT Okay so basically at the start of Yr 7, everyone was new and I approached a girl called Diya (not her real name). Anyway I made friends with her and after a few months she became my best friend. I trust her the most out of my friends. Recently I have been feeling a bit jealous of her. First off, we both are girls in an all girls school so there is no boy drama. Anyway, she is really pretty (long loose brown curls, pretty eyes, thick eyebrows but no monobrow, fair, small pink plump lips, fairly skinny). I am also thin but I'm a bit underweight so I come off as bony. I look like this (short, fairly wavy but frizzy black hair, kinda crinkled eyes, bony, tall, long thin lips, a very unnoticeable monobrow, not photogenic.) That's not the only reason I'm jealous, I know there are people prettier than me in the world and it doesn't bother me much. The fact that she knows she is pretty and kinda tells me. E.g. She loves flipping her long brown curls. She told me that at girl called Shana said that her eyes are pretty. CONTINUED IN EDIT |
Question: How do I make friends? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 10:47 AM PDT I'm an Autistic adult, I've had friends in the past but no more. Currently I'm long-term unemployed (yes, I'm trying to fix that starting with volunteer work) so I've no regular contact with people via a job and no money to do anything social - there's no free courses right now, I'm going to meetups, I look for free events, etc. but it still doesn't feel like these things are helping at all. I think you need some sort of routine to get to see the same people regularly in order to get talking, but how do you know where to focus that time/money/energy to get the best opportunity to try to make new friends? Once you get talking to someone you see often, how on earth do you progress from there to friendship? I think it's doubly difficult as I'm a woman and I prefer to socialize with men, there's always some who think you're looking for a date or who'll only be friends to date you (then complain about being 'friendzoned'). |
Question: What should I do about my best friend's wedding? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 10:41 AM PDT My best friend that Ive know for 20 years asked me to be her maid of honor. I said yes and she told me to also invite my father and sister. A couple weeks later my girlfriend told me she messaged my best friend wishing her the best and offered help. My bestfriend ingnored the message for weeks and still has said nothing nor has she asked me to invite her too which is odd. I decided to try and get to know her soon to be husband by adding him on facebook. I soon discovered that multiple members of his family are extremely and aggressively homophobic, racist and at times sexist which makes me think he is as well. I then later saw a comment by my friend about not believing in intersex people saying they are fake and made up and that now we'll be forced to accept other fake genders. This is clearly against who I am and the community I support. I no longer feel safe or comfortable going to this wedding and am upset that my girlfriend has not been mentioned or invited. How do I go about not going to this wedding? |
Question: I think I murdered someone, please help? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 10:27 AM PDT I'm literally shaking right now. So I'm in 10th grade and I go to a public high school. There's this super annoying senior who is always annoying me. So on March 1 of this year, they started taking my lunch everday. So 2 days ago on Friday, I knew they were gonna do it again. So I put food poisoning into my sandwich and puffer fish venom in my water. Anyways, after lunch everyone was gathered around something and I saw the senior on the ground unconscious. They took him to the hospital and said he was dead. I think my food poisoning killed him. What do I do?! |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 09:50 AM PDT So I won a competition to get a DS off of my favourite YouTuber and we talked a lot over email about it. I asked to be his friend and he said he was too busy for anymore friends than who he already has so I accepted that but recently we ve been conversing in a more friendly manner. We talk about YouTube in general and how his life is, not as much about mine. Could I build this up to become a friendship over the next year maybe? How? |
Question: Am I overthinking? Seems like he's being weird? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 09:48 AM PDT I've been talking to this guy for a month straight who I am really interested in. We've been talking every day and our convos are usually pretty cute. He seems really bland today.. hasn't said babe or anything like that all day. He's the one who started the conversation this morning when he woke up. It just feels really weird and I'm not sure if something's up or if I'm just overthinking. I am a huge overthinker and stuff like this always gets me nervous. |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 09:44 AM PDT I don't even feel that way anymore. They won't except my true apology!! They are extremely mad and blocked me on all social medias. MY concern is that they are gonna tell my friends about that stupid thing i did and there all gonna hate me too for something I didn't even mean. |
Question: Why do I feel like there are 2 sides of me? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 09:01 AM PDT I am 24 years old. One side of me is a bit hippyish, in a way, not to label it. But I have always loved nature and outdoors so much, meditating makes me feel so good, I like free flowing clothes, love yoga, and try to be really easy going. I feel that I should be true to myself and that will make me happiest. In my future I see my being a mom, an easy going mom in a quaint home filled with love. I am talking to a guy right now that has a similar view on the world and tastes. My old friends from high school were very much similar but I was told they were bad influences. I also have a side that is very organized, more judging and mainstream. I just want to be normal and fit in, and have plain friends. The guy I'm talking to does not fit this and my vision for this future consists of living in the suburbs, with a normal family, and just being regular. I think maybe I suppress the more free part of me due to being judged and won't be truly content joyful and happy. My family can be very jusgemental. I know this is weird. I have a lot of space in my life right now to decide which path I want to go down. My heart says follow your bliss while my head says just stay on the normal path and stop being childish. ... |
Question: My friend is really stuck in a trash can! Please help!? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 08:21 AM PDT My friend tried to sit in this trash can earlier at my house. She ended up starting to sink into it eventually. But what happened was she put her hands under the trash can and she pulled herself down really far and she says her butt is touching the bottom. My friend stood up and when the trash can came with her, she tried to push it off, but it seriously was stuck and would not move. I had her grab onto my couch and I tried to pull it off. But this trash can won't budge at all. Since my friend was wearing short shorts. I grabbed some butter from the fridge and I put some on her legs and she tried push and I tried to pull. But we still could not budge the trash can. The trash can is circular and plastic, and it is late at night and I don't want to wake my parents up. She's been stuck for over an hour now. What do we do? |

(We've been talking on Kik) But in the past he has deleted and blocked me. Usually I'm the one who sends him a friend request. But this time he sent me one what does that mean? |

Question: Please someone help me. Losing someone close to me? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 07:40 AM PDT My friend and I have been bestfriends for ages but recently he has betrayed me. Talking to his girl that i've liked and he doesn't even care. We got in a fist fight and he kicked my ***. I thought to myself how am I gonna get my payback??? Then I had the best idea! Homecoming was around the corner and he was talking about his new suit a lot. So I texted him asking if I can come over and apologize for my actions and before I went over I ate a whole lot of asparagus and drank a lot of beer so my bladder was nice and fully and smelly. So I started pissing all over his suit and he came back from the kitchen and saw me. He then said "WTF ARE YOU DOING" so I turned around and started pissing on him. So now he hates me and I dont know what to do |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 07:04 AM PDT Is that what friends do? Shouldn't they ask their family instead to lend them money? |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 07:02 AM PDT What I mean by "Take the punishment" is that over time I have come to realize that kindness actually does have a price to pay. Let's take this for example: It happened a couple of days ago. I have a concert next week and I had these tickets I was supposed to give away to my parents or family or someone. But these tickets were also fundraiser tickets so they cost money. Neither of them were coming. I was talking about it in my ELA class and my teacher said "Well, now you have someone coming." and she took the tickets. I forgot to tell her about the price and I said "What the hell," and I paid the price myself. Here's another example: I have a lot of ****** up friends. Most nights I spend most of the night talking them out of killing themselves. That's just sensible, right? I mean they need someone so I'll be that someone. And whenever they or anyone really tries to help me, I reject it. I take everyone else's problems and bottle up my own. Have been my whole life. Is that bad? I mean, I don't think I need help. My friends and frankly, a lot of people say I do but, do I really? |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 06:42 AM PDT I think they should ask their family instead. Lending money to friends can ruining a friendship is what I think. |

Question: Why do i hate everyone? But yet i feel so lonely :(? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 04:11 AM PDT I used to have some friends but lately I've been isolating myself from everyone. I'm always changing my Number. when i run into someone know in public i ignore them and refuse to go places that are crowded.. Not active on social media. I'm not in touch with any of my old friends from school and childhood cause i was always running away from them. I hate my parents and relatives because they all did me wrong. I have some dark history with my parents from the past that i can never forget and can never forgive them and i think my family is the main reason that im so antisocial. I have some major trust issues and whenever someone does a bad thing i can never forget and forgive them. I sometimes just wish that everyone would die. But at the same time I feel so lonely and i wish I could find someone that is not trashy cause I'm tired of being lonely all the time. Help me? |
Question: Why do I have no friends? Posted: 11 Mar 2017 11:42 PM PST I am very shy and introverted but I do put myself out there but for some reason year after year and day after day nobody seems to look at me and thinks, "Hey! She looks lonely! Maybe I should ask her about her day or something?" It's not like I sit around feeling sorry for myself or wait around for someone to save me. I try to make conversation by complimenting people or asking them how they're doing but nobody seems to want to talk. Of course, I don't expect nothing more than a "Thanks" or a "Good" but I try to talk and I'll make a joke or something and everyone will laugh but nobody and I'll be a part of the conversation but nobody ever wants to talk to me after that. And being a part of a conversation is a special occasion normally everyone will act like they didn't hear me. I know a good place to start would be finding other lonely people but all the "outcasts" at my school are all friends with each other and I can't stand the idea of going up to a stranger in public. What do I do?? because I hate seeing everyone with friends being happy and then there's me. I know I don't need friends to be complete but it sure would sure be nice. |

Question: My friend's friend is harassing me. But she won't believe me? Posted: 11 Mar 2017 09:46 PM PST Okay so this guy is into my friend. He seems to be extremely jealous of how close I am with my friend. Every time he sees me on the street he threatens me and he always calls me with a private number. He wants me to back off from my friend. I've brought this up with her a few times but I have no proof so I can't prove anything. I just want this to stop so I can enjoy being in my friends company be he won't leave me alone and I don't know what to do. Any advice? |

Question: What to do when you re friendless in your twenties? Posted: 11 Mar 2017 09:30 PM PST I'm 23 years old. In the past year, I lost all my childhood friends save one of them over a mistake that my sister committed that inspired a group-cattiness meltdown. I didn't do anything, but because I'm her sister and everyone chose sides...well, I'm finding myself totally ignored and alone. A lot of my college friends have also drifted away since graduation. I live in NYC and I work a job where everyone is much, much older, so I don't get much of a chance to socialize at work. Advice, please? I hate feeling so alone, it's been really, really rough. |
Question: I need help on this situation? Posted: 11 Mar 2017 09:19 PM PST So 2 friends of mine for whatever reason blocked me on Instagram. One week ago, we were cool talking to each other in person and online, but now, they get upset when they talk to me to the point that they sit away from me and blocked me on social media. I didn't do anything wrong. If they had problems or didn't want to talk to me, they should have told me. I squashed the beef with another friend and I'm no longer feeling suicidal and never will be again (main reasons why got mad at me in the first place), but yet they still hold some type of grudge against me. So then, what should I do exactly? |
Question: How do i deal with a friend who is always on his phone? Posted: 11 Mar 2017 09:13 PM PST I am a 23 year old guy and my best friend has helped me out a lot, he used to be my boss and i learned a lot from him and i really respect and value his friendship, problem is sometimes he is always on the phone and leaves me hanging. Like today I went to his house because we were taking a road trip and when i arrived he was on the phone with this girl who he has been talking to, and she was just talking about B.S nonsense drama that happened at work, i know because he had the phone on speaker, but I sat around for 1 1/2 hours just waiting there in his living room, while he just sat there listening to her phone call. He has done this multiple times, one time I was waiting for him at a bar and he told me he had to go out and take a call and I literally sat there in the bar for 30-45 min while he was out blabbering. I know people have lives and stuff, but if a girl ever called me and I knew it would take a while, I would ask her to call me back later or something |
Question: I need some advice with friendship problems? Posted: 11 Mar 2017 09:11 PM PST So me and one of my friends got into a huge argument and I apologized but he said he doesn't trust me anymore and ended our friendship. Is it better for me to talk to him right now and solve it quickly or should I wait for a few days for things to cool down? |
