So apparently I didn t sweep the floor to my moms unmeetable specifications and she flipped out. She said that from now on she was going to do the same amount of things I do for her. So she said that s from now on she wouldn t drop me off at school, she would drop me off in the parking lot of business 3 blocks away and right on the highway. Then I said it would be her fault if I got hit by a car. But he said it would be my fault because I didn t sweep the floor properly. What do I do??

I was given the ultimatum to fix him by year's end or I was out of the family. I am responsible and not him (my Dad). So my siblings put it on me, the oldest, and I have to fix him. They are not giving him an ultimatum, just me. I am 27 and my siblings are 18, also 18 (twins), and 22. My step-mother issued the ultimatum to me officially after my Dad wrecked Christmas this past year. He is still welcome in the family but not me if he isn't fixed by December 1st. I want to take a moment to explain what's going on in my life right now. First of all, my parents really confuse me. A lot. I feel that my dad might be abusive, but I'm not sure. He used to hit me, but now it's just mostly words. He calls me a loser, a dumbass, lazy, piece of ****, among others. However, he has a soft side. He takes me out for ice cream and baseball games, and he helps me with my math homework. However, shortly afterwards he goes back to his old, degrading self. My mom, I believe, is afraid of my dad. She always complains about how her life is so bad yet she doesn't do a thing about it. She doesn't even try to get a divorce. I am the oldest of 4 kids and I feel a lot of weight and pressure on my shoulders to stand up for my siblings but I am scared to. I try to keep my marks up and do well at softball and cook dinner for my siblings and clean the house, all while my parents constantly degrade me. They always want more. I can never ever be alone. There's always someone down my throat. The only place I can be my happy self is at softball practice. my softball coaches are amazing. I considered going to them for help, but what if they think I'm just making excuses, or want pity? Anyways, at school I hardly have any friends. I'm basically that stereotypical girl who sits by herself in the library during lunch. My guidance counselor doesn't do anything for me, I've already tried, and I don't have any trusted relatives. Please help, I'm running out of options.

The reason she says I cannot have a mess because they're divorced and he did not treat her well in marriage. She also says that he left her for another woman although he denies that. Either way I don't know why she tries to punish me for it by not letting me have them to my high school graduation or other things. I know he can come anyway but she says she's leaving with my grandparents if he's anywhere in the school. So now I'm torn between which to do keep them away or just have her in my grandparents farm out. Our relationship was great with my mom and dad. Since he's died three years ago all my mom does is nag me, put me down, doesn't want to accomplish things. We're both on disability but she can't get help with her health do to being over the limit. It keeps getting worse and I'm living with stomach and bone cancer. I can't even get the proper treatment cause the facility is to far away. I can't financially get a vehicle in anyway. It's drove me to the point that I'm turning insane. I've been bullied all my life but treated by my parents great until my dad passed. Well, about three hours ago, I sent my cousin Robbie to Wal-Mart to get some milk and cigarettes for our gran. After an hour had passed and he still hadn't gotten back, my gran told me to go look for him, but I didn't feel like biking there, so I sent my cousin Jimmy instead. After another half hour had passed, Robbie suddenly ran in through the garage holding a shotgun, saying that he had been chased, but he was okay now. I asked him where Jimmy was, but apparently he had left the store long before we sent Jimmy, meaning that none of us knew where he was. We called Jimmy's dad, but he was so stoned that he couldn't remember he even had a son, so Robbie, our gran, and I all split up and began searching the neighborhood for Jimmy. It has now been 1 1/2 hours, and we still haven't found him and are all seriously worried about him. He is an 8-year-old little crippled boy, so you can imagine how urgent this is! Does anyone know some places where we could possibly find an 8-year-old boy? Do you think he may still be at Wal-Mart and is just refusing to cooperate with employees? We cannot call the police because they would find out about my dad's drug operation. Please help us find Jimmy, we are all very scared!

Hey guys, So just to sum this question up, a few years back when I was like 5-6 years old, I went with my family to a big family dinner and literally almost everyone was smoking cigarettes and hookah while eating and I was there, it pisses me off now that I ve grown older how they re literally doing this in front of me, but regardless, after the dinner, I went to wash my hands and as I saw them smoking, I really felt like smoking so bad so I found a packet of cigarettes on the table in a room sitting there alone with nobody around, I took one cigarette and I lit it up with the lighter around it, then I took one to two puffs I believe, and then my cousin caught me and told me to stay away from it and told my parents. My parents didn t do anything to me because I was a kid, now that I m 14 now, whenever I m hanging with my older brothers, I sound a lot older than them, when they ask me how old I am, I tell them I m 14, they reply with: You sure you re not 20? And I m like... do I really sound that old? I ll admit, I smoked some hookah too with my father but I believe the last time I smoked was when I was 10-11 years old, I never smoked heavy, most of the time it s one or two puffs. I played lots of sports ever since and I quit smoking completely. It s not that my intention was to smoke really, if anything, I d only blame my family, they re the ones who put this bad seed into me and they re really ******* stupid for doing that. Will this affect my health now, though?

Yesterday I had an argument with my 16 year old sister (who is shy and very sensitive) about some some stupid meaningless **** and I was even the one who started the fight. So I'm a person who gets really impulsive during arguments, I tend to yell a lot and sometimes I say hurtful things that I actually don't mean and always regret later. Okay to be fair, I don t know if she hates me but she doesn t acknowledge me at all so that might be worse. I ve been with my husband for 10 years now (we ve been married for almost 2) and his oldest sister didn t like me from the start. I hate my mom. Shes 37 with no job and all she does is smoke marijuana with her friends in her locked bedroom. One accurance she stayed up with her friends and drank and the following morning I couldn t wake up her up to take me to school no matter how hard I tried. She steals and lives off of food stamps. Her temper is horrid. When she is mad she gets in your face as close as possible (close enough to smell the cigarette breath). It isn t a normal parent like getting on to its "if you re ready to fight let s go" or "jump" recently I didn t hear from her and assumed she was at the grocery store it was what she called "food stamp day" later to find out she was asleep in her bedroom. Hi, so over the past few months ive basically caught my mm masturbating 4 times. When she's angry at me, she'll threaten to destroy things that I bought as punishment (she's gone after my computer and my phone). I'm starting to think that she's mentally unstable, because she tries to hit me a lot and sometimes chases me around with hammers and knives. I have no place else to go because I don't have enough money, and I don't want to be homeless. What should I do?

He's been abusive to my mother for 22 years and I've always been there to protect my mother. Now, I left the house with my mother because she ended up fighting with my dad and she had enough. Ever since that happened he keeps sending me text messages. I don't want to talk to him because he also insulted me. He would tell me to lose weight, wear a lot of makeup, and also tell me that I was dumb. He wants to see me and he acts like he didn't do nothing bad. It pisses me off because he the one who was causing the domestic violence. Should I talk to him now? I think I should talk to him like in 2 or 3 years.

Question: Can my mom kick me out the DAY I turn 18?

I'm turning 18 in a few days. The thing is, me and my mom have a bad relationship. She has threatened to kick me out a few times in the past. I will still be in high school until may. If she does I don't know where to stay. I have a part time job but rent is expensive in my area. Can she kick me out or does she have to wait until I graduate?

So last night some stuff went down, my dad went after my brother and intense stuff had happened and it's never went that far before. Things are fine now, but I keep thinking of it and I end up crying because of how scared my brother was, the screams and everything. It mostly happens when I get happy, whenever I'm happy I start thinking of how there's homeless people and how I make myself extremely sad because of how cruel the world is. But now I don't think of that. I think of what happened last night now. I can't listen to music or look at my brother without thinking of how scared he was and how none of my siblings could step in and help not one bit.. I can't get the thought out of my head at all. He's the sibling with a bad temper and usually gets in trouble for things he never did so it makes me feel worse.. He's playing with the rest of the kids as if nothing happened and he's happy around my dad for some reason, but I feel so upset and guilty because of how it'll affect him in tbe future. My dad made us say that we didn't want him around anymore so he thinks we all hate him now but it didnt phase him at all. Is there an easy way to get these thoughts out of my head??

I'm 21, she's 11. I ate some potato chips and cookies that were hers. I didn't know the chips were hers, but both them and the cookies have plenty for others to have a few. She noticed some were gone, and knew I ate some. She threw a FIT STORM! She yelled at the top of her lungs THAT'S MY FOOD! YOU CAN'T EAT MY FOOD! And she went back to my mom telling my mom to hit me or do something and "fix this". She cried and tried to block my mom in the bathroom, and said it was child abuse when my mom moved her out of the way so she could get through. I thought "OMFG, if it'll fix it I'll buy her some more so she will stop throwing a fit, she's already spoiled beyond repair of being spoiled, and I have to enable her to be spoiled or my family will yell at me and kick me out and then I'll be homeless. There was even a lot of chips and cookies, I only ate a few of each. She said me buying her more doesn't even fix it, because she told me not to eat them (I knew about the cookies but I didn't know the chips were hers, but I think I can have a few of anything, she just noticed this time). She yells at my mom to hit me or do something and says "YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING! GO AND FIX THIS!" I just lost my job, I need food stamps again, I can't afford my own food! My sister WILL NOT share, but the government gave me food money just because I had no income and needed to eat. The government is so much more generous than my own sister! I've struggled to ever get a job, just got my first one a month ago and already lost it. I struggle more in life than most people.

Mi hija a los 18 años le detectaron anorexia y bulimia purgativa y recurrí a un amigo de 50 años que es director y terapeuta de la clínica donde el me convenció de internar a mi hija en dicho lugar para rehabilitarla, después de mes y medio regresó mi hija a la casa y me enteré de que dicho "terapeuta" ya se había metido con mi hija sexualmente, el es casado, por lo cual me sentí defraudada con ese "amigo" pues en lugar de curarla la dejó peor por las promesas que le hizo de "amor", el problema ahora es que la esposa amenaza a mi hija por medio de el y mi miedo es que la agredan físicamente, mi pregunta es ¿Puede actuar legalmente en contra de este señor por su falta de ética?

Me and him not really close but we've been close in the past. One of our cousins he's close with is dying from cancer and he doesn't have much longer to live. I can tell its really hurting him so when I ask him do he wants to get out the house he refuses any advice please? Thanks .

So I m currently a teenager and I feel like I can t stay home. I want to be outside all the time, but I get bored or it gets dark. I feel trapped and being on my phone for a long time makes me feel terrible. I don t want to waste my life on a screen. But I can t go out since I m not old enough to drive and none of my friends live near me. (My mom won t let me go out more than once a month.) It s spring break and I feel sick. I don t know what to do. I don t want to be indoors all the time. I don t like the dark. I want to get out. What do I do? What is this called?

My 7 year old brother is a perv.He hits on his mom and two sisters. He flirts with his gramma and random girls. Once when he was 4 he saw a group of teenagers the street and said "Hubba hubba". When he was two he walked in on our great grandmother changing and said oh mama. He loves to say mom have sex with me my 10 year old sister.She kissed with a boy age five at the McDonald's play place. has pics of the 11 boyfriends she's had in the last year.She gasses and burps like a man but wears dresses and a crapload of makeup Dad is odd. He is obsessed with Disney. We go twice a year and he is always the most excited. He loves Disney movies. He plans the trip 5 months in advance. We are in the Disney vacation club. He also makes our house Fort Knox. We have 8 security systems, cameras in all rooms of the house except for bedrooms and bathrooms. He has motion lights and more. He takes three fighting classes "just in case". We have 6 safes and 5 guns Mom is inappropriate. She gasses constantly.she can't go an hour without sticking up the house.We're gotten testing done. Her excuse is "there's something wrong with me". My dads hilarious response is always the same. " they have done every test with a name. They have gone up and down and in and out. They have done everything and all they can find is ur just gross". She talks us like we're her best friends. I m 34 and am accompanying my father on a trip to rural Illinois to see my 103 year old grandma who although in declining health is still very much "there" mentally. It is a painfully awkward situation for me and probably her because I am a bad conversationalist (sometimes wonder if I have undiagnosed Assburgers) in the first place and on top of that just have nothing to talk to her about. To complicate things, my brother, whom I loathe, is here with us and I have to pretend not to be repulsed by his presence. Last time we visited, which was in the summer of 2011, I pretty much just sat there and played on my phone while my parents chatted with my grandma the whole time, and we are currently experiencing a repeat of that painful episode.She is 100 and freaking 3 for chrissakes. She sends me a birthday and Chirstmas card every year and it s so sweet...I just don t have anything to say to her. Due to bad circumstances I have pretty much no life at all by normal standards—nothing to share, nothing tell her say about what s going on in my life. So what should I do. Make something up? Show her cat memes? Help.
