Question: How to stop wanting to have sex? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:47 PM PDT Figured this would be a good section because married couples have experience with this. Sometimes you can't have sex because your spouse is away or sick for extended periods. I haven't had sex in 5 weeks at this point. Normally I can last without sex before a month before I start going crazy. I'm 19. I used to have a partner and then he moved. I went on vacation and had sex with some guys on vacation and it was fun because it was meant to be temporary. But going back into the dating pool, I was really missing my ex and not ready. Then I had a guy blow me off and it hurt a lot. So I'm not sure what I want in this moment. I can't deal with any guys in this moment because I don't want to be hurt or waste my time. But it's hard when I get horny. I'm over the fact that I don't have a guy to talk to romantically, just not over sex. When I was younger, I used to take cold showers but that's more of a quick fix. Religious motivation won't work for me. But I'm serious about this. I really wanna keep this up for the next few months, a year maybe. Suggestions? I've been doing it a year and half, it's hard for me to do full stop. |
Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:31 PM PDT I'm a 27 year old guy, & I just got out of a relationship about 3 weeks ago, with my now ex-girlfriend. My friend is a 42 year old woman. She's very beautiful, both inside & out, & we've been friends for 9 years. I know her husband as well, & though I don't know him real well, he seems like a great guy. Her and I hang out quite a bit as friends, and always have a great time together. However last night she kissed me, & I don't know how to feel. What happened is she called me up to hang out, as she was feeling lonely, as her husband had left town on a vacation with his 9 year old daughter from another marriage. She another masked me if I wanted to go to this club, which we've done before as friends, & so I didn't see any problems with that. At the end of the night, she offered to give me a ride home, as my truck is not running, I missed the bus, & it's a 10 mile walk to my house. When we got there, I told her I had a very enjoyable time, & complimented her on her appearance, & the next thing I knew she tenderly kissed me. & now I can't stop thinking about her. We've never kissed or anything before. We've always hung out as friends. I've always thought she was attractive and sexy as hell, & I'll admit a part of me always wanted to do her, but I never let myself act on it because she's married & that wouldn't be right. So I don't know what to do. We've known each other for a long time, and I don't want to lose her friendship. What can do? |
Question: Are there signs a man is married? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:28 PM PDT I met a guy we've been out on 4 dates. I don't want to become "romantically" involved until I know he is not married. 1.) he says he works nights (7 days a week) 2.) his Facebook has a bunch of pics with him & a female (They are very outdated.) 3.) he doesn't want to add me on Facebook - he said he never used it. 3.) it takes him hours to respond to me 4.) he is mostly texting me at night almost never during the day. 5.) we've never been out on a date at night because he has to work nights. I don't want to come out and ask him if he has a gf/is married. What's everyone's thoughts? |

Question: Am i expired for marriage ? Wasted too much time and got nothing to offer? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:11 PM PDT So i realized what an insensitive piece of crap that i am; age 40+. And i fully realize no woman would ever marry a jerk like me. To make matters worse my looks are gone and i dont even own a house; yet. Basically im good for nothing and pushing on all alone sucks by the minute. Friends ? They got no time for a loser like me since they got wife and kids anxiously waiting for them at HOME. Women look at me like some kinda freak..alone aged 40+ ?? I just dont understand women and they expect me to catch "hints" of what they really meant to say..and if u dont then they lose intrest. I stay home playing video games kicking kids butts online..smoke pot, watch porn and drink beer. I did eliminate the pot and beer for the past 6 years but now i see no point. Suggestions ? |
Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:00 PM PDT I wear sunglasses all the time and they kind of double as a headband sometimes as I tend to push them up to my head when I go inside a place. I do this often and my hubby told me yesterday that he wants me to do this more often as he finds it so sexy. I don't get how he finds this sexy as I think they are just glasses and nothing else. It's just something that I do if I go into a place for a short period of time and don't want to put them in my purse. Is there really any logic in how he finds this so sexy ? |
Question: Co-worker trying to steal my husband? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 03:39 PM PDT So a while ago back at our work party me and my husband and my friend/coworker Melissa/Mellie were at the table and I introduced them. Melissa told me "Your hubby's cute" right in front him. He said nice to meet you Melissa and then she told him to "call her Mel". Fast forward to now. On Friday Mellie was supposed to give me something but she sneakily left work before she did. When I got home I found my husband inside and Mellie outside waiting. She said she ordered food and was waiting for it (and me) to arrive. I went inside and asked my husband what happened and he said she found my home number in the contact book at work and called him because she "forgot to give me something". She wanted to wait inside with him but my husband insisted she wait outside while he was cleaning the house for our unexpected guest. Later on we all ate dinner together and then she left. I'm scared she's going to continue acting like this. Am I being paranoid? My husband hasn't noticed anything strange. By the way she's single. I feel like telling her to back off but also like I'm overreacting. |

Posted: 26 Mar 2017 02:35 PM PDT I ve been seeing a married man for about 9 months and of course feelingshe have developed for one another. We both tried to distance ourselves from one another but that didn t work at all. Now his wife is pregnant and I told him I would feel uncomfortable to keep this going. He got really upset and said that we both know that he s not happy with her and that he doesn t know how or when but he wants to divorce her. He claims he would be happy with me but like I told him I m not stupid and it hurt his feelings. I know all married men must say these things to keep their side chick. I don t know what to. |

Question: Husband got fired....I feel betrayed? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 02:11 PM PDT My husband works for a telecommunications company out west. He does installs and tech things for big businesses. Sometimes, they are given a big time frame to do a job, like 4 or 8 hours. The company wants them to log off right away so they can use they an be given another job. Most techs don't log off right away- they give themselves a little time. They goes organize their work trucks, help a nearby tech, etc. They then log off the job. Sometimes it asks for a signature to say they were there; anyone can sign it. Sometimes they have the business, sometimes they do it themselves, sometimes they put their tech number. They NEVER do it if there are charges associated, or if customers aren't happy. They only did it when jobs were complete and there were no charges being applied. The company tried to crack down on this years ago. They got iPads and made a policy that they log off right away and then get a signature right away. What ended up happening was that some techs were fast and some were slow, and they were doing time studies and shortening jobs. This ended up hurting their numbers, promotions, etc. My husband was recently let go because of this policy. He and his boss were at odds, and the boss used anything he could to let him go. My husband understands that what he was doing wasn't what the company wanted, BUT everyone there was doing it, too. He was the only one let go. A lot of his friends that work there are upset about him being let go;some are nervous. Everyone is saying what a a great tech he was and how they can't believe it is happening to him. I feel betrayed. My husband didn't do anything to hurt anyone, and didn't do anything that others weren't doing, but it was a policy and Im upset he put us in this position. He just got a raise 2 weeks ago, was given no warning, and is now looking for another job. Im trying to be supportive but am upset and hurt. What do I do? How do I move on? I trust him, but am shocked that this even happened. I also don't know what he should be telling people when he goes on interviews. The company said nothing about the signatures; they only said about logging off of jobs after he left them. They called it "falsifying records". If it had to do with signatures, I believe it would be forgery. They said nothing about that. HR told him he was supposed to be at a job, but wasn't, so that was why he was being let go. My husband explained what he was doing, cleaning his van, helping techs, etc., but they said it didn't matter. He should have logged off right away. He has never been in trouble before, was there for over 10 years, and was making great money. It is making me sick thinking about it all. TO BE CLEAR:Im not saying he did no wrong. My husband fully recognizes that what they did wasn't what the company wanted. What sucks is the company turns a blind eye UNLESS they want u gone.So there are people there doing what he does, without being in trouble. And he would never throw anyone under the bus. He says blanket statements were made from managers like "guys, log off your jobs"or"guys, stop drawing smiley faces on the signature lines&go get someone to sign, but he never got spoken to. |
Question: If two people who have already been divorced once end up getting married,? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 01:38 PM PDT what are the chances those two people will end up getting a divorce? Question: Is it bad if I quit my job? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 01:32 PM PDT My husband wants me to and become a housewife. We are looking at starting a family now and I hate my job so he says we can afford to live on one wage. My mum was a housewife throughout my whole childhood and doesn't want me to leave my job. I'm not sure why when she did the same but the thing is I'm only 30. Does it matter if I don't work and raise a family? |

Question: Am I in the wrong to have a bad feeling about my brother's fiancé? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 10:54 AM PDT She doesn't seem to like anything about him. All she does is whine and complain about how he is, but everyone around them (including my family) finds their interaction to be comical. My brother is a bit of a clown (and so am I) and I know from my past experience the man I was with didn't like my humor. He'd tell me I was being "retarded" or make faces at me. Now I am with a man that laughs along with me and is very receptive to a joke or just joking around. My brother's fiancé just whines and tells him to stop or makes a stink face at him. For being HIMSELF. My family all loves her and I liked her very much and was happy they were together. But I don't live at home and haven't for years and so I didn't think much about their interactions before now. I just kind of realized it when she wasn't around by now quiet it was, even with my brother laughing or being silly. He's a very well liked guy. It was quiet without someone whining for him to stop over and over and just picking and picking. I feel like it's wrong of me to feel this way. And now that there is a wedding being planned I just have this hunch that she doesn't even like me either lol. Maybe because we are alike and my brother can actually talk to me about stuff or show me stuff that she whines for him to shut up about. But I have never been anything but kind to her. I hear little comments said under breath from her. Whatever. Anyway, I don't know why no one else sees it. Feels good to vent a bit. Is it wrong of me? |

Posted: 26 Mar 2017 10:38 AM PDT marriage has become an obsolete and dying institution while the divorce rate continues to skyrocket. soon no straight couple will choose to get married anymore, and nearly every marred couple will seek a divorce. why not simply eliminate marriage right now and nullify all existing marriages to save couples the need for a divorce? wouldn't you like to put the sleazy divorce lawyers out of business? |

Question: Can a person's attitude towards sex change everything? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 08:38 AM PDT A very good friend of mine is in this situation and has told me all the details... Wife says husband has been bad in bed for a good part of 7 year relationship. Sex has been amazing only a very slim number of times. Mostly bad because she is the guys second partner and when she was willing to show him what to do, he still wanted to do it his way. He didn't want to take her advice and he is stubborn about it all. Wife says she married him because he is great everyway except that. So about 1 month ago, the husband has a really heartfelt talk to the wife about everything and says he wants to change everything about his attitude and approach to sex. So far wife says things are really improving. So my question is has anyone ever seen a situation like this And also, I am a best friend to the couple that's how I know all the tea lol. |
Question: So if she cheats on her husband with me is it possible to just have sex and nothing more? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 08:37 AM PDT Moved Into my new place a few months ago and say hi often to a woman next door to me. She caught me on my way in from moving my car and asked if I lived alone. Also said I was so cute. Does this mean she would cheat on her husband? |
Question: Should I give my husband another shot or Leave? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 08:29 AM PDT Over a month ago me and my husband got into a big argument. I wouldn't say it was both it was mostly him yelling and talking about things that was irrelevant. So to start off the main thing was that I told him he needed to get a better job because he wasn't making enough and my mother had allowed us to live in her house since she was never there. We were to use the time at her house to get ourselves together. Anyway I went to sleep in my sons room to sleep because I told him to sleep in our room until he can cool off. He barges into my son room yelling and cussing and starts hitting my leg ( i guess he thought it was the bed) and I told him to stop, the part that got me upset is when he decided to scream in my face which caused my son to get up and he tried to hit my husband in the face( he is 3). Immediately when I saw that, I got out of the bed and told him he needs to leave the house , we spent the next hour and a half running around the house, with him holding me down, snatching the phone out of my hand, when I tried to call the police, and pushing me so I couldn't get out the door so I could go to the neighbor house. Did I overreact ? I am in therapy for sexual assault and domestic violence. Did I let my past cause me to overreact? I don't want my son in an abusive environment and my husband steady calls me saying he will never do it again, crying on his knees all the whole 9 yards...I just don't know. I started therapy after this incident happened. My therapist said it was domestic violence. I am confused because he has never showcased this type of behavior before and said he he didn't know what came over him. Sexual assault therapy is from my early teens and my twenties (im 28). I told my husband about my past which is why I was surprised he did this..my mom suggested therapy, which has helped but my therapist says I have a lot of work to do. |
Question: Wife asked why I love her...what would you say? Posted: 26 Mar 2017 08:28 AM PDT It was late and I really didn't know what to say. I told her that I made a promise to her to love her to my last breath and I would never break that promise, that I love how attractive she is, who she is a person. Basically everything that makes her who she is. And love her because she loves me. That it'should a feeling that I can't really put words to. Like when you are committed to the one you care about and can't live without. She didn't like thone responses and said I don't know what love is.... I would need to sit down and make a list of everything. I usually don't think about what I love about her beyond her good looks and how we make a good couple. What could I have said differently? Some people claim to be able to talk for 2 hours about what they love about their wife. What is your opinion? |

Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:15 AM PDT I am 38 wks pregnant. I have a physically demanding career, I take overtime when I can & plan to work until my EDD. I come home from work and take care of 3 giant breed dogs, chores and dinner. My husband chooses to work overtime each week. I never see him but I don t get upset with him because he loves his job & it makes him feel good about himself. I have gone through this pregnancy like a single mother. I built ALL of the nursery furniture (crib, table, dresser, chair) and put away shower gifts by myself. I don t get told I m beautiful or get offered foot rubs. I recently bought myself an Apple Watch. We can afford it. It s not a necessary purchase but I am very active outside of work & used my FitBit daily before it broke. I told my husband & he said we can t afford it because I ll be out of work (although I have short term disability & several wks of vacation time I am using). He said HE will have to work more overtime to pay for MY stupid purchase & that I m being selfish. Now I feel as if I don t do enough or work enough to contribute. I know this purchase is materialistic but it s something I ve wanted & know that we could afford. My husband has 4-6 drinks 7 nights a week, chews tobacco & buys scratch tickets daily. It s not like he isn t doing anything for himself. The watch is now sitting on my kitchen counter in limbo. Do I return it to make him happy or keep it? Am I being selfish if I keep it? I guess this is also more than just about a watch. |
Posted: 26 Mar 2017 04:08 AM PDT I ve been married for two years going on three. My husband is 5 years younger then I am and we are very different from each other but we work. Anyway, the being of the the relationship he always had tried, tried to Winning me over then did. Tried you win my parents over and did for a bit but never fully did. After we got married we moved into my parents home because we couldn t afford our own place but the goal was to get out within 6 months. Never happened, 3 years later and 2 kids later we are still in the same boat. My kids I Wil never regret one bit. Until recently he decided to switch careers from factory work to construction work because of the pay. To be able to make it on our own. Anyway long story short the other day I find him sending a girl a comment on a video saying "i m loving the view" it s her boobs and belly jet doing a sit up. I wasn t supposed to see it obviously but it was sent that day and he s lying to my face that he would have told me that it was the previous week blah blah. I m not saying I believe him but I can t find myself to try giving him the benefit of the doubt cuss it s not the first time but I ve tried talking about it and he always sweet talks me and I feel bad like I can t ruin this by kicking him out. Keep in mind I ve left out that my family doesn t like him because he never helps our better said he rarely helps around the house with the yard. Had to be told what to do and doesn t pay attention to what needs to be done ever. What do I do? |

Question: Controlling husband? Posted: 25 Mar 2017 10:37 PM PDT My husband and I are 11 years apart we've been together for 13 years. He is very demanding and controlling. He doesn't let me go out by myself and sometimes even wants to tell me what time to go to sleep!!! (Ridiculous) he thinks he's always right and everything he says and does is okay. We have 2 kids together, he doesn't like to do anything but stay home and work on his cars or backyard. Sometimes he treats me like I am his daughter and I am so sick of it! Part of me wants to leave and part me of me feels guilty if I leave because of my kids. I don't know what to do. I'm sick and tired of being in a relationship like the one I am in. It's so ridiculous he doesn't even let me go to my parents house by myself but yet he can get up and leave as he pleases we both work so it's not like he's the only one working I don't know what to do. |
Posted: 25 Mar 2017 10:31 PM PDT Long story short my husband is verbally abusive to my children and I. He's always yelling and calling us names. I'm contemplating divorce if he doesn't stop. However I work as a CNA and dont make a great deal of money. I'm planning to quickly pay off my car so that's one less debt and try to save as much as I can if I do decide to leave. I have no family that I can stay with at the moment so my only choice would be to find an affordable apartment. How could I ensure full custody of my babies and stay afloat? My babies are 1 and 3 and we live in MO |
