Question: Should I apply for club officer at my school? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 05:55 PM PDT I'm a really shy girl but I honestly think being a club officer will make a huge difference on me. However, when I told my friend about my application, she said "but you're so quiet how even lol". I'm just really bummed about this. |
Posted: 16 Mar 2017 05:35 PM PDT I had switched schools in September and ever since I had not had any friends. I am pretty shy and had tried in the beginning of the year to find friends but since it is now the middle of the school year it is harder. No one wants to be friends with me and everyone always talks about me behind my back. I had tried to be friends with the popular kids but I had realized that all they did was judge me for no reason. I would be anyones friend at this point. I am very shy but once you get to know me I would do anything for you, I am very sympathetic and empathetic. I love giving advice and would never hurt you. With my old friends at my old school I had never fought with them so I do not know what to do. Every had seemed to judge me before they even met me. The popular girls had made rumors about me. The only contact I had had were with the boys because they keep asking me out even though they do not know me. I am trying to friends with the boys because they are more chill but is really hard. I dont know waht to do anymore because I am severely depressed and want to die, I have no hope so if someone would help that would be great. Thank you so much I appreciate every comment I get and will take each one into deep consideration |

Question: What do you do during summer break? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 03:53 PM PDT There's about 100 days of summer vacation. What do you do during that time so you don't get bored out of your mind? What's an average day like for you? Is it mostly staying at home? Or do you hang out with friends and have fun? If it's the latter, how do you find things to do? |
Question: My roommate gets on my nerves?!? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 03:53 PM PDT She asks the dumbest questions. For example i have on house clothes, she comes asks if im going to go out tonight, WTF! Does my clothes not tell you! I am not really a party person like she is. Like i can't even tell she is cause she's pretty boring. Convo is always dryyy! She is pretty dirty never washes certain things cause its just water. Like ewwww. Now she thinks my fridge is her as if she chipped in a dollar to get the mini fridge. I don't like using her stuff cause its filthy, so i rather just buy my own. How can i get her to stop using my stuff in a polite way? I once told her to clean something and i was called rude. WTF B**** i was stating FACTS not an opinion. I would post picks.... but im not that rude. |
Question: Best way to deal with having a 'friend' steal from you? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 03:50 PM PDT - Revenge - Eye for an eye - Let it go - Stop all contact - Rat them out / call the authorities - Pray for them - Curse them ? |
Question: Why does my mom get mad overtime for this reason? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 03:25 PM PDT I am 17 and when she asks what happens in school and all, i say nothing, because nothing happened. I went, and came back and She always gets mad because i don't have an elaborate story.then she goes on how i never talk to anyone and have no friends (have one best friend) and how i don't communicate with my friends (ones from middle school but now we go to separate high schools) she knows i lack communication skills (because i am apparently like my dad) but why does she always get mad at me for it? i am starting to get pissed of. i am sorry i don't communicate enough! like i was always like that and she knows that about me and still gets mad!? why |
Posted: 16 Mar 2017 03:18 PM PDT My best friend and I took a picture of us hanging from/on the the basketball goal and i am not very clever.. so can anyone think of a pun or whatever so I can post it. Something with "hanging around" in it ig |
Question: What does this girl want? She has a family....? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 02:49 PM PDT We're both female. I am bi but have not told her. Today, she tried pinching my nipple with a smile. This was after I'd told her I had initially thought she was someone else - she told me to never get her confused with another girl. I once joked that I knew where she lived and she asked if I was stalking her - I joked that I was. She went on to say that she was a dominatrix - I suppose suggesting she'd do something sexual if i really was caught stalking her (I'm not). She also had wrapped her hands around my arm while saying this. She is touchy at times but I cannot tell if this is how she is with everyone - gently touched my elbow, has gently pushed me in the lower back a couple times. She came up really close to me from the side and was saying something about me never saying hi to her. She's joked about me strip performing for her and also that if she had some sex torture chamber, I'd be the first she'd put in there (she'd been talking about some show where a guy was trapped somewhere naked and I joked that'd be her - trapping naked guys). She has a four year old girl and is still with the man she had the baby with, though they are not married. She hasn't talked to me about their situation, but she does call him "my man". Her man has come into our work a couple times. He once brought their little girl in. Ok...but what, is she trying to hook up with me at work or is she just flirting for some fun. |
Question: What to do if you walk in on your roommate masterbating? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 02:44 PM PDT So I was just coming back for getting some ice cream with my girlfriend and when I got in the house I heard moaning. So when I got in the living room he was sitting there naked jacking off. After he saw me he just turned backed and asked if I wanted to join. I was so shocked I just went back to my car for about 10 minutes. What should I have done. ( me and him are both early 20s) |
Question: I want to troll my friends? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 02:15 PM PDT Does anyone have a link I could send my friends to troll them, "check out this video" and they click the link and it sends them to gay porn or something?? Hahah I need to get them back thanks! |
Question: Do you have to tell your bestfriend everything? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 01:19 PM PDT I have forgiven an old friend who betrayed me in my past, but I am passed it and they apologized. My current bestfriend is looking for my best interests and telling me I'd be an idiot to invite that person back into my life, but my heart says forgive and to give another chance... Do I have to tell my bestfriend everything and would I be fake, if I just talked to the other person without my bestfriend knowing? |
Question: A "friend" left me while I was in the hospital for a suicide attempt? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 12:30 PM PDT I was really out of it, and we talked on the phone a few times. She really seemed to care about me and she was a good friend. She also has this autoimmune disease that really debilitated her to the point where she can't work and has to live with her parents. I was really out of it, in a depressive episode, withdrawing from drugs. I did pressure her to come visit me and stuff and then asked her if I could stay at her new place since she was moving out for a couple weeks. She kept on saying yes to everything, but one day BAM! She completely stops answering my calls. Later on, a mutual friend tells me that she was overwhelmed, has why she left. Ok, I understand her perfectly in this, and *I am not mad at her for terminating he friendship* Why I'm mad and traumatized: •She wasn't honest AT ALL about her feelings. She give me any chances to fix my mistakes. •She left without explanation or saying goodbye. •She didn't answer my last (and only text I sent after the hospital). In that text I told her that I do not consent to her telling anyone about my situation. She just let me worry by not replying. How do I go on? I got over her a long time ago, but my biggest pain is that I am PARANOID now. I CONSTANTLY FEEL LIKE ALL MY FRIENDS ARE ABOUT TO LEAVE WHENEVER I SHARE ANYTHING WITH THEM. I RELATE ALL MY FRIENDSHIPS TO THIS EXPERIENCE. How would you react in this situation? How should I react? I lost faith in humanity. I'm bipolar, so I'm more sensitive than most people. |
Question: I'm ready for my friend to go home but I don't want to be rude. How do I handle this? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 11:57 AM PDT I brought a friend on vacation with me and like any friendship after spending a week with her I'm ready for her to go. Problem is we will be getting home at 8-9 which is late and my parents will suggest for her to stay the night which I really really don't want. I don't like having sleepovers normally let alone when I'm tired of the person. But I can't tell my parents I don't want her to stay because they'll say I'm being rude. Should I tell them I want her to go home as soon as we get home? Or should I just toughen up and be miserable? |
Question: How do I handle this? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 11:30 AM PDT So I brought a friend on vacation with me and were on our way home. Problem is we are getting home at 8-9 which means my parents might suggest her stay the night. I really don t want that. At all. I want to sleep in MY bed by MYself. I m ready for her to go home and me be alone. I know it sounds horrible but I m sure most friends are tired of each other after a week. I don t know how to tell my parents that I want to drop her off without them being mad at me. What would you do? |
Question: Am I in the wrong in the situation? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 11:19 AM PDT My boyfriend s best friend use to date my friend/coworker (not very close & years ago 2012- early 2014 now). They had a very messy breakup. He then started a relationship with a new girl that my friend/coworker says he cheated on her with. For this reason I never became friends with his new girlfriend (even though we see each other A LOT it s literally my boyfriends BEST friend of more than 12 years) until about one year ago I decided to, to make things less awkward and my life easier. Turns out she doesn t know anything that happened and doesn t know there was a time where his past relationship with my friend overlapped. I didn t tell her, because I don t get involved in people s relationships like that. Recently they became engaged which infuriated my old friend/coworker (we aren t very close anymore). She then decided to delete me from any way of contacting her and it s clear I m on her s**t list now, for becoming friends with his now fiance. Am I in the wrong? Should I have kept a vendetta against his current girl in honor of my old friend? I thought I was being mature and burying the hatchet, but maybe I m wrong? |
Question: Major teenage drama! please please please help? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 11:05 AM PDT So I m your average 16 year old guy. Generally very happy, I ve always been happy w life. i m good with how i look, im popular, bodys fine, studies are good, and everything. youd probably think everythings going perfect. I have a big friend cricle, but a small part which i call family. Around 7 of us guys. We ve been close 5 years and i trust them with everything. One of them, who was probably one of my favorite, has recently turned against me. He was convinced i was trashtalking him, and even after i sent him proof of me complimenting him, hes still being a dick. We had a major confrontation and since then, hes been a ******. He admitted to have been doing this only because he dislikes my girlfriend, but i accepted it. I said it was okay and said i guessed we couldnt be friends anymore. He never apologized for accusing me of things i didnt do, even after i proved him wrong. Recently, I ve heard that hes been trashtalking ME, to our seniors I have screenshots of him telling his friend how he messed up and accused me for no reason. Call me petty but ive been too mature about this too long. Im half convinced i should just post those screenshots, show the world hes just bitching me about me for no reason , because he feels defeated. I dont know what to do Please, give me reasons not to post the screenshots. I dont want to but I want to protect my image too you know? I dont want him feeling he can get away w anything |
Question: My friend's parents don't care about her, is there anything I can do? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 11:05 AM PDT Me and my friend are 16 years old and we will be taking the university exam in two years. Before that we have choose classes that'll be essential for our career in the future but my friend has no idea what to do in the future. She has many talent and she is very smart but she cant decide what to do. She seeked help from her parents but they dont care about her at all. They always leave her alone in the house, whenever they go to holidays they leave at her grandmother's or smth. She has been having a mental breakdown for weeks and when she tried to bring a serious topic up when she talking to her parents they just ignored her. Once her father even got mad and pour some juice down her head. How can I help her? (Both in her relationship with her parents and in her future) |
Question: Is this funny or tacky? What do you think? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 11:04 AM PDT I was at a wedding of a couple of my friends recently. They both have an unusual sense of humor. As the bride entered the back of the church, she was escorted down the aisle by her former husband. There was an audible gasp from the audience. When the minister asked who gives this woman ....... her former husband said I do. There was applause from the audience and some laughter. The theme of the wedding was out with the old and in with the new. Do you think that was funny or just plain tacky. |
Question: Is she a fake friend? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 10:12 AM PDT I have a friend that I've known for one year here at university. We became very good friends over the past year. I needed someone to take a photo of me on campus for something important that was going to happen and I asked her because I am alone at university and don't really know anyone else. She agreed to do this and was quite excited too. I sent her a message half an hour before we had to meet...she was online and didn't answer until 2 hours later when it was already dark. Eventually when she answered, she said that she went to visit her other friend (I know her too) and they went to the mall and said that I can come over and we can take the photo now...then I told her that I can't because it's dark now, I wasn't mean or anything. This photo had to be taken for tomorrow and she knew that, if she cared she wouldn't go over to the other friend. What do you think? Also whenever I speak to her she also begins talking, like she never ever let's me finish and i feel that she acts interested when we talk, she's always anxious to talk while I'm talking. It gets annoying. |

Posted: 16 Mar 2017 08:43 AM PDT I didn't say no but I was pretty pissed off afterwards. Is she a good friend or not? |
Question: I want to jerk my friend awake SHOULD I? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 08:43 AM PDT and how |
Question: Friend Etiquette Advice? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 08:32 AM PDT I stayed with a couple of friends around 1 month ago for 1 night. We had a wonderful time, I thought, but I haven't heard from them since, not a word. I left a note when I left saying thank you and wrote a letter to the friend that I'm closer to but still nothing. Is this normal? It hurts. |
Question: Ironic ? Cheating question? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 08:27 AM PDT Me and my girl have been together for quite a long time . 8 years to be exact. In our first year I had cheated and I told her . We split up for a month or so and got back together . She told me she seen other guys I told her I seen other girls in that month span . Bam we moved forward . 7 years later any time we have a fight she calls me a cheater which I really have no reply to because I did it ... 7 years ago .. anyway we went on vacation recently with close friends her best fried did not bring her boyfriend on this vacation and my best friend was single . Needless to say her friend and my friend hooked up almost everyday . Her best friend was cheating on her bf of 5 years . So when we got back we got into a little argument and again came the cheater name calling . I found it a bit ironic she would be the bestest friends with her cheater best friend and act like nothing happened at all and she's told me she doesn't condone cheating but yet she's ok with her friend doing ? I mean I get it different person but I've been catching ish for years and her best friend doesn't even get a talk ? What can I say about this ? |
Question: Do I have a chance of being her friend again? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 08:06 AM PDT I'm a guy and I had a really close friend for 3 years, she would do anything for me. we were so close that I even lend her $800 for rent at the beginning of the year.. But 4 weeks ago we had an argument because she thought I lied to her when I didn't, I softly held her because she was leaving without letting me talk... she later told me she was abused in the past and she said I crossed the line when I Put my hands on her.....i kept Texting here trying to apologize but she blocked me from all her social medias. I sent her a heartfelt apology letter to her house with flowers. Later that week police came to my house that I need to just leave her alone because I could be considered as harassment (She did not tell police I touched her) but I cant stop thinking about the situation, Do you think she will speak to me when she cools down??? It's been exactly 1 month and I miss her a lot |
Question: Major teenage drama problems, really need help? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 07:54 AM PDT So basically I'm your average teenager. lifes always ben good to me. Im popular, good looking ish and genreally a happy person. I have a large friend group, but only 6 are who i would call family. We ve been friends forever really. My bestfriend from them, the closest one, has recently been convinced that ive spoken trash from him , stole from him, etc. We had a major confrontation, and i showed him proof that i had done none of those. Infact, i showed him time i spoke GOOD about him. Yet, he hasnt and apologized for accusing me, even though he admitted to bringing up petty issues to find a reason to dislike me, because he hates my girlfriend. He says shes changed me. She has, but everyone changes in relationships. That doesnt give him the right to wrongly accuse me. After proving him wrong, he continues to try to tarnish my reputation in school, which i cant handle. I have screenshots of him admitting to a friend that he ****** up, and that he was wrong. Im in half mind to post them to show everyone hes just getting reasons to hate me, and fake trash- talking me. I dont know what to do? If i was reading this, id too find humor in the melodrama, but please refrain from sarcastic comments Please, give me reasons not to post the screenshots. I dont want to but I want to protect my image too you know? I dont want him feeling he can get away w anything |

Question: How do I handle this roommate? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 06:59 AM PDT Is my roommate out of her mind or am I just overreacting? So this has been happening ever since I got a dorm with her this fall but it is cold outside. Like low 30s cold and my roommate keep turning the AC down to 60°. I really don t understand this, don t she feel the coldness outside. Every time I try to turn the AC up, she goes behind my back and turn it back down. Am I overreacting or do I have a reason to complain? |
Question: I lost friends this year and I have very few friends? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 06:39 AM PDT I m in 8th grade and I am not popular or a dork, I d say kind of between leaning towards geek. So in the beginning of the year I had a really good time and made lots of new friends, one of which was a boy who I talked to almost every day (not romantically interested though). Then he became busy and talks to me less because of the teasing his friends do because I m a girl. I also lost a really good girl friend that I met in 6th grade, the friendship ended so suddenly this year but I adjusted to life without her. So recently I lost a boy friend (not the one mentioned earlier) and I think it s just stupid. I said "why do you not sit next to me in science anymore" and he just started ignoring me. I tried to apologize but as I said, he is ignoring me. He is in two of my classes and I had two bad days in a row because he doesn t talk to me anymore, and I feel like a loner sometimes. I often get third wheeled and can t wait to go home and listen to music, even though I have to hide it from my parents because they hate rock music and rap. |
Question: I wanna runaway, is it ok if I do that? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 06:39 AM PDT Parents are being real bitches lately, putting me in a school where i get home at 6 every single day, they make me do my work and then at 9 they take all my stuff away so I can't talk to my friends nor my girlfriend. Im a sophomore in highschool. They have been making everything so hard and always claim that I have everything i could ever want. I want to take their car, my moms credit card, and just drive off. I have a friend 4 hours away that would take me. I am only 15 but have over 500 hours on a driving simulator that has put me through every condition out there and I am confident. Some friends say that nothing good will come out of it but I dont see what good will come out of me staying because rn I am miserable at home and want to kms because its just sleep schoool work sleep. No time for doing what I want, i dont want to live life like this. "People kill themselves not because they dont want to live but because they want to end their suffering" |
Question: Why would a girl lie about how she says I'm one if her best friends? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 06:30 AM PDT A Girl said I'm one of her best friends and on Facebook she clearly talks to other people a lot more than me. |
Question: Will he see me again? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 06:06 AM PDT We hooked up on a weekend ski trip and he acted as if he was interested in dating me but stated that he worked nights. I told him we'd make it work. All week it took him really long to respond to my texts. When I pointed this out to him he said that he works nights and it would be unlikely that he'd respond during the daytime. When he got off work on Saturday he called me and said that he had to do something with his son but that he'd call me when he was done with that. I didn't hear from him anymore the rest of the day. I was really mad especially when I saw he was posting on FB but wouldn't respond to my texts. When he apologized to me the next day I asked to come over to his place and he told me no because he wanted to clean up. I couldn't understand why he'd stay on the phone with me for two hours but I couldn't come over. I said some mean things and he said he wasn't feeling my vibe in that moment. The next day I apologized for over reacting and asked if we could be friends if nothing else. He said that he accepted my apology. We have text each other a few times since then but no mention of us seeing each other. Do you think we can start over? If not why does he keep responding to my texts? |
Question: Fed up with "so-called" friend!!!? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 05:49 AM PDT I have a "friend" I have known for over 10 years. During the last 2 years she keeps making nasty, abusive comments EVERY TIME she sees me trying to put me down for no apparent reason: saying I'm crazy and that I am an asshole. She only ever calls me when she needs me or wants a service done. What sort of kicks would she get from doing this? And why do other people put others down? She I cut her out of my life? |
Question: How Do I Handle This Situation ? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 02:55 AM PDT I owe my friend Carl a lot of money . Carl's notion is for me to work for him . It's nothing too hard . It's mostly taking dictation, writing letters, and cruising the internet . The problem is I have to meet with Carl every afternoon after work, so I don't have time for doctor's or dentist's appointments . Sometimes my friend Marie needs me to help her . Besides, Carl is very unpleasant, so there are times when I can't deal with him . Sometimes, I tell Carl that I have a doctor's appointment that I don't really have . Sometimes I told him I got sick and have to stay home . Every few months, I tell him I've been hit by a car . I can't play the sick card any more . How can I handle this situation with Carl . Don't say "Stop working for Carl !" because I can't go that far . Thank you in advance for your answers . |
Question: Please rank them please? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 01:59 AM PDT can you rate them from 1-10 for how they look for their age? (The first 25 year old with wavy blonde hair, the second 35 year old with curly hair and the last 47 year old with black shirt on). If you give a low rating please explain how they can improve and if you leave a link I will answer yours too. Thanks https://www.flickr.com/photos/144144382@N06/with/31472433635/ |
Posted: 16 Mar 2017 01:56 AM PDT I don t ask for help alot. I dont mind paying some gas money but they rven charge me to get me to events that no one else is paying gas money for. In order to get my daughter to urgant care on the weekend I had to pay twice the ammount it ahould have cost in gas. I paid $30 for a ride down the street to make sure she was okay. And was the only ride i could find. Even if we plan on paying for something fun. Im the only one floating the gas money. I wanted my kid to go to Harry potter festival. I ended up paying $80 for my friends ride to pick us up to see my friend. My friend got her ride for free. I had to pay double for our tickets so we could go. We barely jad any spending money because i floated the cash for the trip. I have access to cheaper city rides. I try not to ask for help or make plans to go out because I ll pay more than its worth to hang out with them. I use to help people a ton but I get charged a ton when I ask for help. Its not even worth it to ask for help or arrange going out because I pay for it and twice as much as anyone else. I dont ask for help a ton. Why do i get this? I cant even get a ride for the hospital without them exploiting that or even over charge if i need someone in a pinch. How do i attract this? How do i stop it. Im getting used to pay twice as much as anyome else and cant get help without paying out the nose. When i do ask which is rare. I wanna go out i gotta pay more than anyone else for the rides and activity. |
Question: Fed up of so-called "friend"!!!? Posted: 16 Mar 2017 12:45 AM PDT I have a "friend" I have known for over 10 years. During the last 2 years she keeps making nasty, abusive comments trying to put me down for no apparent reason: saying I'm crazy and that I am an asshole. What sort of kicks would she get from doing this? And why do other people put others down? |
Posted: 16 Mar 2017 12:01 AM PDT At 5th grade I started to befriend this other girl. We were in 6th grade when we started texting all night. Then one night she just texted me "We're bestfriends, don't forget about it". From then on, we got very close. We were seatmates, played games with our pens while our teacher was discussing. One day she just told me out of the blue that she missed me. Since that day, I started to feel something strong for her, stronger than the first girl I was attracted with. I tried to avoid her as much as I could and I even move to another seat cause I don't want to fall for my friend. Most of the time, she would just suddenly stare at me out of the blue and then smiles. Then we graduated and went to different high schools. During the first months, we were still texting but one day she stopped and that was the end of our friendship. That was 10 years ago. I'm 22 now and so is she. I haven't thought about her the past 10 years but lately I keep having dreams about her, about how close we were it actually felt so good and it seems like the feelings I felt for her then are slowly coming back. I added her on facebook, but a week had passed and she didn't accepted it nor rejected it. Did she forget me? I don't think so, I cancelled my request cause maybe she dont want to be friends with me anymore but the dreams keep happening. Could she be gay or bi? I just don't understand why she would just shut me out of her life and what's my dream means Also, one last thing, should I send her a friend request again on facebook or what? What's the best thing to do? Also, one last thing, should I send her a friend request again on facebook or what? What's the best thing to do? |
Posted: 15 Mar 2017 10:26 PM PDT As you read above my friends treat me like a little kid. So a little info about me I hang out with two friend groups one where I'm the youngest by a year, and one where I'm the oldest by months. So in each group they are always asking me if I'm in bed or if I'm asleep. They always ask me if my hw is done or ask me if I'm resting when I'm sick. They always pinch my cheeks and want me to sit on their lap and pretend their santa. I'm 5"2 and not the shortest in either of these friend groups but, they are always hugging me, and talking to me in a higher voice , and not wanting to tell me everything. They restrict me from certain things I like to do and they also tell me good job and such. Their telling me to get off my phone or pay attention in class and they even reprimand me if I do something wrong. Now it's not like I want to change my friends or anything because I've known these people for a long time , is it just me, or what?! |

Question: Friend is sending mixed signals about our relationship. What could this mean? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 09:25 PM PDT So one of my guy friends, let's call him Adam, is sending some very mixed signals lately. Just today we were playing football, and he asked what I would do if he slapped my ***, then later denied doing it. Other times, he asked me to sit with him during a field trip, rather than his own sister, and tries to hang out with me a lot, it's also commonly him that gets me alone, or with himself and his sister, What could these mean? I'm just really confused about it. One more thing I forgot to mention in the original post. I was laying on the floor next to his desk in class, and caught him looking down at me, but not in a mocking way. He wouldn't look away until I got up and got to my desk, which is literally right next to his. Doing the classwork, I caught him staring at me a couple other times after that in that class alone. We went to next hour together, and pretended like he couldn't understand what I was asking him. |

Question: Best Friend Does Not Consider me Her Best Friend? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 08:21 PM PDT There is this girl who I have known for about three years, and overtime she has been one of my most closes friends. I tell her everything and whatnot, and despite being in different colleges , we still talk a lot. The thing is, is that she has MANY best friends. There is this group she has hung out with elementary school, and she has told me that she considers them her best friends, yet this one girl she has known since pre-school is her best-est friend. To me, I am a close friend, and to this day, she practically hangs out with this group everyday, while I am in a whole another city. It really hurts, since it feels like I get into this reoccurring cycle to where I feel closer to someone more than they do with me. What should I do? |
Question: Does my friend look 1/2 black? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:55 PM PDT He keeps saying that he's a light-skinned black guy but I'm not sure. Pic: http://imgur.com/a/mZLd5 |
Question: How can I distance myself from people? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:51 PM PDT My friends treat me bad but they are the only ones I have. I want to slowly move away from them while also looking for better friends but I don't know how to do that. |
Question: I'm depressed, what do I do? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:50 PM PDT Im a freshman girl in high school, so much drama has been going on in my life. I don't want to make my boyfriend and best friend deal with it but they know i'm hurting and i don't know how to stop it. |
Question: Could this get me into trouble? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:50 PM PDT I got into a fight with some girls on my bus, and I used really bad words. (It wasn t a physical fight) and when I got off one of them yelled something out the window and I gave them the finger. The bus stopped and I ran inside. I m terrified of getting into trouble, and I don t want to deal with embarrassment. What do I do? |
Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:41 PM PDT Last night, my best friend and I were cuddling in my bed and we happened to just randomly talk about falling in love with one another. Before we knew it, we were making out and saying I love you to one another. We fell asleep in each other's arms, but in the middle of the night he decided to take his shirt off and lay back down next to me with his left arm above my head and his right draped over me. We talked for a little bit and I said something funny to make him smile and we just kissed and rubbed each other before we fell back to sleep in each other's arms. This morning, I woke up to find that the bed was empty, but the door opened and he had made me breakfast in bed. I was shocked that he brought me breakfast in bed so we shared French toast with powdered sugar and syrup. After breakfast before he took the dishes to the kitchen, we shared a little kiss and he said I needed that this morning and I said well I love you and kissing you is just topping to the cake in the morning. I love you more than just kissing and cuddling though. Now he wants to stay over again and I said I guess my bed has become the new hang out place with you. We planned on going to dinner later together and after just spend more time together. |

Question: I don't feel the same? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:36 PM PDT At the end of the school year last year, I lost a group of friends, but most importantly my best friend. Since then, people have been gradually leaving my circle and I can't do anything about it. I didn't realize how many friends I lost until I was going through my pictures and saw all these fun memories with people I don't even nod at in the halls anymore. People say friends fade in high school, but I haven't even gotten there yet. It has honestly brought me down so much these past couple of months, not to mention constant insults from this guy, and I don't know how to fill the empty hole in my stomach. Not asking for attention, genuinely seeking advice.. |
Posted: 15 Mar 2017 07:36 PM PDT A dear friend of mine just got accepted to nursing school (and he is the first college attendee in his family). I am thrilled for him! I got him an antique book of medicine that we both love. I am afraid if I give it to him, he will think I have an ulterior motive. Anyone who knows me well knows I am a giver-- it really is just in congratulations for this big step. |
Posted: 15 Mar 2017 06:54 PM PDT My boyfriend (32) and I(30) have been together for almost 6 years and we recently moved into a 2bd apartment of our own after a few years of roommate living situations. When we were looking for places my bf's best friend who just cant get his life together was urging us to rent a 3 bd or a house so he could come along with us. We decided to go with a 2 bd so that he would not move in and we'd have a room for my 2 boys when they come every other week. A bit of background about this friend: - He is 35 yo former marine with PTSD -He cannot keep a job longer than about 3 weeks without being fired for something stupid. We live in Nebraska which is a right to work state and jobs can be terminated for any reason any time. - He has been fired for trying to start a union, calling other workers "retarded", causing scenes with older coworkers (saying ' I cant wait for all you old a** baby boomers die!") Basically he doesn't play nice with others. -He and I have been in heated fights that have been on the verge of throwing fists Anyway... Now this friend has a shot at a good job in our city and needs a place to stay instead of commuting 2 hours each way. We agreed to let him stay while my kids aren't here, in their room with the understanding that it'd only be until he can afford a place(4wks) My bf works nights so after he leaves this friend starts telling me that he's staying as long as he wants because bros b4 hoes. I've tried talking to my bf but he makes excuses for him. UGH!! |
Question: Group of people trying to fight me? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 06:53 PM PDT So this one kid in my class got mad at me because I told him to "mind his own business" after he called me out in class. Later he took a picture of me to his friends who are trying to jump me when I get on the bus. What should I do? Don't want to fight either because I'm not a fighter. |
Question: How do I tell her I don't want to be friends anymore? Posted: 15 Mar 2017 06:49 PM PDT My friend, I've been friends with her for about 6 years which makes me feel guilty. Within the past year, she has been kicking me, calling me fat, ugly, etc. and talks behind my back all the time. She has also punched me out of her room when I stayed the night because she didn't want me in there so I had to sleep on the couch. We're both 13, and her mom is very sweet but also very sensitive and her dad is very... intimidating I guess you could say. I don't want her mom to feel bad, her dad to be angry with me, and her to just flip out. She has quite the temper, please help me? I can't stand just looking at her after all that she has done to me. |
