I was hurt by my boyfriend today after we had gone to pick out an engagement ring for me and we planned on him to propose to me this evening by the beach. He was wearing the ugliest shirt he owns & I let him know about it & after that it all just went downhill. He got upset & stated that the shirt shouldn t matter to me but he got super emotional. I got upset as well & we ended up not going to the beach & parking a few miles before the beach & he said he was cancelling everything & that he would be returning the ring. He told me that it was hell everyday bcus we fight, this really hurt me!! Hours later he tried to tell me that he does now want to marry me but it no longer feels the same & I don t think I can go through with it bcus it hurt so badly that he would run to make such a huge decision like cancelling what would have been our engagement! He tells me he wants to do this again tomorrow but I m so hurt! I don t know how to feel!
