Question: How can I calm a girl down ? Posted: 10 Mar 2017 08:21 PM PST I'm staying at friends house she was watching a video about the Manson murders on YouTube before we went to bed. She had a nightmare that a gang had broken into her house they did it almost like the Manson family did only a little different. They broke in the front door and the back door there was a bunch of them. They shot her dad then they tied up her mom they put a knife at her then they came into her room she was listening to her iPod they broke down her bedroom door they took her iPod they smashed it then they tied her up she was screaming for her mom then they started stabbing her. She can't handle IV's or needles she would not handle being stabbed. She woke up screaming and crying and having a fit. She said since she watched a Manson movie last year she's been freaked out she kept looking out the window. Every time a car goes by at night she gets scared. She lives way out in the country it's so quiet out here. She doesn't want to go back to sleep. She's really upset. They always keep their doors locked at night also her bedroom door is impossible to break down. I know we tried we was playing around when we did it. They're windows are maybe 10ft off the ground so no one can get in. She's still really upset. She wants to go sleep with her mom and dad. How can I calm her down ?

Posted: 10 Mar 2017 07:53 AM PST Wanted an opinion on a proposal for my girlfriend. Awhile ago she was on this geocaching kick and wanted to go geocaching with her. We tried it and I didn t like it too much, but eventually we made one together and hid it under a rock on the top of a hill overseeing the city. We never got around to adding it to the app, but we did check on our little cache a few months later and it was still there. We are planning a four day weekend together in the next few weeks and we ve looked at rings together recently and she knows I went on my own afterwards and probably assumes I bought the ring. So I anticipate she probably has a hope I ll propose during our 4 day vacation. I was planning on accidentally taking a "wrong turn" to our destination and while on the way suggest we stop by and look at our geocache to see if it s still there. I was planning on having a note in it asking her to marry me, and propose on the spot. Ideally I d like to get her sister in on it and be hiding and taking photos of the proposal. I feel like this will catch her off guard and really surprise her since she might have suspected I was going to over that weekend, and then we can enjoy it as an engaged couple. The view is really nice as well so I hope it s romantic. What do you think?
Posted: 10 Mar 2017 06:59 AM PST So, my boyfriend and I are not engaged yet, but we're getting close to it. His sister and I haven't had the best relationship. I'm 22, she's 16. In the past (like 2 years ago) she has said really nasty things about me and her brother (sex related stuff) to her friends and I have found out about it. She has tried to get her brother to break up with me, she's tried to turn one of my friends against me, telling her brother I've cheated on him and that I'm always super mean to her, which I am not. You might be thinking, dang what could I have done to make her hate me so much? LITERALLY NOTHING!!! I've always been so nice to her so I have no idea why she would do me or her brother this way. I guess I should put this in there: his sister was sexually assaulted when she was younger, so maybe this is her way of retaliating against the guy but she's taking it out on me? BUT REGARDLESS, she shouldn't treat me the way she does. So, back to my question... when the time comes for me to choose my bridal party, do I have to include her in it? She literally makes everything about herself and she cannot stand when the attention isn't on her. I feel like she would try to sabotage my wedding or something. Can someone help me???
Posted: 10 Mar 2017 04:49 AM PST we have spoken about when we get married and where, when, how soon etc but this was a spare of the moment buy.. we went shopping and he had my finger measured and said i have to have it for my left ring finger as it looks ''funny'' on any other finger.. his brother asked if he was going to propose and he said maybe,.. he keeps looking at the ring in the shop and he's excited for us to pick it up tomorrow.. is it just a promise ring? thoughts?
Question: If wedding ceremony and reception are in the same location, OK to skip the ceremony? Posted: 10 Mar 2017 01:50 AM PST I accepted an invitation to a wedding this weekend. The ceremony and reception are held in the same building, in different rooms. Unfortunately I am in a work crunch and have some extremely important (career-defining) projects going on, and some deadlines around the time of the wedding. So: OK to skip the wedding ceremony itself and just show up for the reception? This would save 2 hours of time. I am friends with the bride, but mostly "career friends"--we help each other in our jobs (but work in different companies). Thanks. To add: I am not married and the invitation didn't specify a guest, so I am going solo. I will know only 1 person there (other than the bride/groom), as far as I can tell.
Question: Any advice for this marriage proposal? Posted: 09 Mar 2017 03:00 PM PST My 4 year relationship with my girlfriend is coming to an abrupt end because of my insensitivity and hesitation in our relationship. Especially children. Shes made up her mind regardless of anything ive said the answer has been no... So I dont see the harm trying one last thing. How does this proposal sound? Overdramatic? Not poetic enough?
