Question: What do you think about this wedding gift for a friend getting married? Need advice.? Posted: 20 Mar 2017 04:12 PM PDT I was going to buy all 3 items: -A beauty and the beast water print and frame it. Write both the names of the bride and groom under belle and the beast. (Would the groom take it negatively since I labeled him the beast?) I chose beauty and the beast as a possible theme. I'm not sure if they like beauty and the beast or disney, but I want to be creative. -A bottle of semi expensive New Zealand Wine (Pinot Noir) - A gift card What do you think? |
Posted: 20 Mar 2017 12:24 PM PDT And after marraige she refuses to have sex with her husband saying it hurts and so she does'nt want to sleep with him and not even try. So how should he deal? Its like a wife who did kinky things(anal, etc) with her exes multiple times but when comes to husband she says she does'nt want to try coz it hurts. Is'nt it the same here? If anal hurts den natural sex hurt is also possible, So can a wife do that with husband, n should husbsnd respect her decision and live with her without any form of sex? |
Question: How do people afford getting married? Posted: 20 Mar 2017 07:31 AM PDT I'm a single guy and from the looks on the cost, I may never get married. Not because I don't want to, but because I simply cannot afford it. An engagement ring is about $10,000, a wedding reception is $30,000, and the honeymoon afterwards is probably insane. And this is not counting the cost of the wedding dress, the wedding ceremony, the weddings rings, etc.. There's no way I could ever afford this. How do people afford getting married when it's EXTREMELY expensive??? |

Question: My step sister is angry that I missed her wedding? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 05:26 PM PDT I had an urgent business to attent to. And I sent a gift. I also apologized. I know it's seems bad, but she's not even my real sister. She shouldn't make a big deal out of this. |
Question: Is 17 too young to be engaged? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 02:57 PM PDT So I found out earlier today that this girl I work with is engaged. She is 17 and the youngest person we have. Not sure how old her fiance is, but what's more is that they've only dated about a month. Not only do I think they (well at least she) are too young, but I also think it's WAY too soon to be engaged. Remember Anna and Hans got engaged after they FIRST MET, and look how that ended up. And I know a great deal of people in their 20s/30s who STILL aren't married and they've been together for months, even years. If I ever get invited to THAT wedding, I won't be going, as it's ridiculous. What's your opinions? Futhermore - do their parents actually agree to this? I'm pretty sure at their age they're both still living with their parents. |
Question: Why can't people be more considerate when it comes to planning a wedding? Posted: 12 Mar 2017 01:29 PM PDT I know that I'm never entitled to an invite, much less to dictate what others do, but I'm still allowed to find certain things rude: 1) Destination weddings in faraway places. Destination weddings are fine, but not everyone can afford to fly to Bora Bora for a wedding. 2) Having a dry wedding. Just because you are a teetotaler doesn't mean everyone else is. Others should have the liberty to imbibe. If I can give you a wedding gift and my presence in your special day, you can give me some booze....even if that means having a cash bar. 3) Having it during major events - during the holidays, during the superbowl, etc. SO F***ING RUDE. I declined an invite to a wedding ON suberbowl sunday. Who the f*** schedules a wedding on superbowl sunday??? 4) Having it in the middle of summer - I live in Houston....NOBODY here wants to wear a mother f***ing suit in the middle of summer! It makes me SO F***ING ANGRY when people do this!! In San Francisco, it's one thing. New York - ok. But in places that are hot??? Telling me "You can always decline an invite" isn't going to help me. I already know that I can - but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to find it rude Oh, I also find it rude when they refuse to allow for a +1. You may be getting married, but that doesn't mean all your guests are unattached. |
Posted: 12 Mar 2017 03:14 AM PDT Help! My fiancé and I are 24 years old and have been engaged for 2 years and have been planning to have our wedding this summer (in 4 months). We both work part time with him being a full time college student as well. Neither of us make much money at the moment and are pretty much paying for this ourselves. We jut ought our first house together and are now unexpectedly needing a different car. There is so much to pay for just to survive aside from paying for a wedding right now. I hate to use my small savings I have because if something happens between now and when he graduated in 10 months we are screwed. Neither of our parents can help with a money emergency. Anyways, what do we do? I already bought a dress and done all of the Catholic marriage prep. My bridesmaids have gotten dresses and i already paid a photographer also I have told people we were having a wedding. Now things are adding up and are so expensive. I had no idea!!!! I also didn't plan on getting a different car! I tried doing research to cut costs but it says cut guest list and that's not an option since he has 15 siblings most of which are married with kids. What would you do!? Ugh I just want to marry this man we have been together for 8 years since we were teenagers! I am literally becoming sick and depressed.. |

Posted: 10 Mar 2017 07:53 AM PST Wanted an opinion on a proposal for my girlfriend. Awhile ago she was on this geocaching kick and wanted to go geocaching with her. We tried it and I didn t like it too much, but eventually we made one together and hid it under a rock on the top of a hill overseeing the city. We never got around to adding it to the app, but we did check on our little cache a few months later and it was still there. We are planning a four day weekend together in the next few weeks and we ve looked at rings together recently and she knows I went on my own afterwards and probably assumes I bought the ring. So I anticipate she probably has a hope I ll propose during our 4 day vacation. I was planning on accidentally taking a "wrong turn" to our destination and while on the way suggest we stop by and look at our geocache to see if it s still there. I was planning on having a note in it asking her to marry me, and propose on the spot. Ideally I d like to get her sister in on it and be hiding and taking photos of the proposal. I feel like this will catch her off guard and really surprise her since she might have suspected I was going to over that weekend, and then we can enjoy it as an engaged couple. The view is really nice as well so I hope it s romantic. What do you think? |
Posted: 10 Mar 2017 06:59 AM PST So, my boyfriend and I are not engaged yet, but we're getting close to it. His sister and I haven't had the best relationship. I'm 22, she's 16. In the past (like 2 years ago) she has said really nasty things about me and her brother (sex related stuff) to her friends and I have found out about it. She has tried to get her brother to break up with me, she's tried to turn one of my friends against me, telling her brother I've cheated on him and that I'm always super mean to her, which I am not. You might be thinking, dang what could I have done to make her hate me so much? LITERALLY NOTHING!!! I've always been so nice to her so I have no idea why she would do me or her brother this way. I guess I should put this in there: his sister was sexually assaulted when she was younger, so maybe this is her way of retaliating against the guy but she's taking it out on me? BUT REGARDLESS, she shouldn't treat me the way she does. So, back to my question... when the time comes for me to choose my bridal party, do I have to include her in it? She literally makes everything about herself and she cannot stand when the attention isn't on her. I feel like she would try to sabotage my wedding or something. Can someone help me??? |
Posted: 10 Mar 2017 04:49 AM PST we have spoken about when we get married and where, when, how soon etc but this was a spare of the moment buy.. we went shopping and he had my finger measured and said i have to have it for my left ring finger as it looks ''funny'' on any other finger.. his brother asked if he was going to propose and he said maybe,.. he keeps looking at the ring in the shop and he's excited for us to pick it up tomorrow.. is it just a promise ring? thoughts? |
Question: If wedding ceremony and reception are in the same location, OK to skip the ceremony? Posted: 10 Mar 2017 01:50 AM PST I accepted an invitation to a wedding this weekend. The ceremony and reception are held in the same building, in different rooms. Unfortunately I am in a work crunch and have some extremely important (career-defining) projects going on, and some deadlines around the time of the wedding. So: OK to skip the wedding ceremony itself and just show up for the reception? This would save 2 hours of time. I am friends with the bride, but mostly "career friends"--we help each other in our jobs (but work in different companies). Thanks. To add: I am not married and the invitation didn't specify a guest, so I am going solo. I will know only 1 person there (other than the bride/groom), as far as I can tell. |
