Question: One Of My Best Friends (out of two) Pushing Me Away? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 05:15 PM PST So I have two best friends Maddie and Gabriel ( both girls) and they both seem to only want to spend time with each other. For example, today I just wanted to sit down with them and Maddie said "I love being with you guys, but Alli, I would love it even more is it were just me and Gabriel." Her words hurt me to my heart because they both have been pushing me away lately no matter how hard I try to make them like me again. I have no other friends and everyone else in my class is mean. Please help! |

Question: What can I do about my best friend? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 04:50 PM PST My best friend and I been friends for eight years, we do everything together such as shop, sleep over at each other place, go out, and do silly things typical best friends do. She decided to move to Georgia which is six to eight hours away from me depending on traffic. During the first year she had a boyfriend and ended in a bad break up which she as emotional about year after she cut her hair off like Miley Cyrus or Rihanna style. And start to have sex with any guy and suddenly she's bi also. She found out she had chlamydia due to her being sexually active but now she cured. Also soon getting a job as a stripper. She continue what she wants to do like party, smoke, and having sex with some dude, also drink and suddenly thinking about being Rastafari. She young not even 21 yet, I feel like I want to talk to her but she doesn't listen I want to save her to prevent anything bad happening to her what should I do? I talk to a close family member and I was told "let her do what a person want to do, you can't save a person if they don't want to listen and save themselves, they will learn the hard way" |
Question: My friend is dumping her problems on me??? URGENT HELP LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 04:40 PM PST this may be long, so stay with me. I'm 15, a girl, and a sophomore in high school. whenever I see my friend she brings me down with her negative energy. she tells me she is addicted to alcohol, tried to kill herself 14 times, and cuts her wrists. she texted me last night at 3 am saying she was drunk off of 6 cans of beer and half a bottle of vodka, but in the morning she posted a selfie on Instagram and nothing was wrong. she even went to Dave and Busters with her friend!! she said she stayed in a mental hospital for 3 years, but all her middle school friends say that's not true and she was in class the whole time. she said she cuts her wrists but I was in the locker room changing with her, and she was completely clean. It just sounds fishy to me. she spam texts me negative things. I have no problem comforting my friends and I enjoy giving advice and a good hug, but everytime I see her she is sobbing and trying to hug on me. I'm a positive soul, and it's really bringing me down. if I sleep through her daily "I'm so drunk haha" or "I'm going to die if you don't text me" messages usually sent at 2am, she'll tell me in class that "i wish you were more there for me". If she faking all of this, I'll be livid becuase I was in in-patient my 8th grade year for attempting suicide and it's not a joke to me. I don't like feeling like another life is in my hands. if she killed herself I'd feel terrible. she's even told me "id die without you". I don't know what to do?? |
Question: Tips to be yourself/not shy? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 04:39 PM PST I'm a 17 year old girl, and it's not exactly that I'm shy, although I am, but it's just that I can never be myself unless I have known the person for a long time and am comfortable with them, and I really hate that about myself because it makes it near impossible to make friendships that I know could be great, especially with guys, because they assume I'm just an awkward person before getting to actually know me. My mind just goes blank and I can't think of a single thing to say so I just don't say anything, where it's the opposite if it was with a close friend. Anyways, any tips (besides generic "just don't care what others think" kind of things because they obviously aren't working for me) would be beyond appreciated, thanks in advance! |

Question: How can I keep a friend? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 04:25 PM PST The friends I have always get mad at me and frankly, I'm usually not sure why they are mad. Whenever I ask them why they are mad it makes things worse. I want to keep my friends but I'm not sure how. Please help. :) |
Question: School, friends, social probs, advise? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 04:18 PM PST I've been homeschooled my whole life until this year. I'm in 8th grade now, but I started this school year in 7th grade, and switched about half way through the school year. When I first came a girl showed me around the school, and let me hang out with her friends and her who are considered popular at my school. This was all new, and at lunch I wasn't really part of their conversation. After some time, I felt like they were just simply letting me sit at their table, and I was feeling ignored. I started skipping recess and lunch, having my mom pick me up and bring me home. I was feeling unconfident, and I would fall into a faze where I get so silent, and don't know how to get myself involved in conversation. I'm not usually like that, because I'm used to friends that I've known forever, and it seems like everyone else in my small school is like that too with their own friends. I did meet some different girls, they're nice, but sometimes weird. I hung out with one of them constantly at first, and she just seems to have gotten so weird, and honestly, not to be rude, her hygiene is not great. On top of that I almost feel like my rep went down, and everyone wondered why I hung out with her. They are my friends, don't get my wrong, and she is only sometimes annoying and pretty nice and funny too. And the other girls that are her friends and my friends are so nice, and the problem now has really also become the fact that I'm a grade ahead of them. I'm caught between 7 and 8 grade. My life at home is awesome. I'm getting a 16 foot trampoline in my barn soon, I have horses, and my cat should be having her kittens sometime next week. My BFF neighbor Lexy comes over almost everyday, and we get along so well,I have a blast. Me Lexy, and my younger sister Asheley have so much fun. Asheley is like my little best friend I've had my whole life. At school I honestly feel confused, I do have some good days, some bad. I have like 4-5 8th grade friends, but I'm not quite part of a friend group. I wish I could've gone to Lexy's school. But hers was full. I feel like I would really get along with her friends, but once again the problem with grades arises. She is in 7th grade. I would like being in 7th grade, but I'm too worried about education. |

Question: I have a man-crush on a co-worker, what should I do? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:57 PM PST This new guy who just got hired is so cool. He's in to similar stuff as me (like fitness, film, similar music) but he's really social and has many friends and I'm not as "cool" as him and a little reserved. He hands out in all the places a young guy would go, but I've never done these things before. He has all this energy and I am more mellow. What should I do? |
Question: Need some advice and quick...? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:49 PM PST A friend of mine was told that there is a pornographic video being passed around. She never gave anyone permission to take said video and their person who told her refuses to give it to her or tell her who passed it. What is the best route she should take? |
Question: Do my little brothers sound disrespectful to you? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:47 PM PST I'm a 15 year old girl in 9th grade. I have 2 younger brothers ages 9 and 11 in elementary school. Here are some reasons of why I find them disrespectful; They scream, curse, and talk sexually with their friends on the PlayStation (on the headset) where literally the entire house could hear them (including my grandmother), They tell me to shut the **** up, they call me slut, whore, *****, etc, when my mom calls them, they answer in the rudest manner like; "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!". They even invite friends over or leave the house without permission. My mom never does anything about it because she's too damn nice. Do you think they are disrespectful? What can I do to prevent this? |
Question: Please Answer! Did I lose my best friend? :(? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:45 PM PST I told my best guy friend I like him and he said that he doesn't feel the same way and that he needs some space. And in the end of the message he said good bye, i wish you well. Does he not want to be my friend anymore? he hasn't taken me off facebook though. |
Question: I need some help with a very sarcastic response, anyone wanna help? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:32 PM PST I asked my friend if my boyfriend and I could go over to my friends house, so I called her... When I called her she said she had to get "in the shower" but when I look out my freaking window, one of our friends are there at her house. So I know once our friend leaves her house she's going to message is to come over. What's a very snobby and sarcastic way of telling her no? Here's an example I thought of... I would come over but we "have to take showers," so maybe tomorrow. Help??? |
Question: My best friend is in this repetitive cycle with her boyfriend? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:30 PM PST I know that she loves her bf, but there has been several instances where they'd get in a huge fight (which her bf always causes). He would message other girls and ignore her, and then she would come to me for help. However, they always fight and make up. Even if I give her a bunch of advice, she never listens and would always end up forgiving him. So now, she messaged me saying that her family friend gave her the number of a cute guy who sounds friendly. She took it, and she told me " If my boyfriend is texting Ashley, I can text this guy too." I def do not condone this, as she is doing the same thing her bf is doing. Obviously the best thing for her to do is break up with him, but I have helped her and suggested that she needs to break up with him, in about 6 occasions. Should I just let her make her own mistakes, and tell her to do whatever she thinks is best? She never listens to me anyways. We're all 18 btw |
Question: Why does he keep adding me on fake accounts if he doesn't like me? (10 points)? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:24 PM PST He has added me on several fake accounts but when I confront him about it he lies and says it's not him. Yet I know it's him I'll admit that I did make a few fake accounts because I got tired of him adding me on fake pages. He keeps doing it though he says I harass him but I feel like he's harassing me by keep adding me on these fake pages. I noticed when I did a search with his real name a lot of fake accounts came up. So he has created fake accounts in the past before. I just don't get why he keeps making them and adding me. Then when I ask him why he does it he lies and says it's not him. |

Question: How to make one of those friend swear/promise things out loud? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 03:05 PM PST So, you know how sometimes in movies (or maybe you've done this before) a group of friends sit around and one says like "I promise not to ____" and they all repeat her and they do something and it's like a promise? How do I make one of those? I want to write one but I don't know what to do or how we do it or anything.... help? |
Question: Does he keep adding me on fake accounts because he likes me? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:57 PM PST This guy keeps adding me on fake accounts that he makes on Facebook. I asked him if it was him and he lied saying it wasn't. When I did a search on google of his name I saw where he had created other fake accounts in the past on other social media sites. I wonder if keeps adding me on fake accounts because he knows that it gets on my nerves. Or if it's because he likes me he and I were intimate in the past. He does talk to me on the fake accounts and he's added me on several women and men fake accounts. |
Question: How to stop being too nice? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:57 PM PST No matter how hard I try, I'm too nice. Someone could break my heart yet I would still treat them nicely. Whenever I try to stay mad at my friends for doing something that hurt me, I can't ignore them when they come up to me, and I still smile, and make them feel good. I feel like I'm way too nice, and need to treat myself first. How do I change that? |
Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:56 PM PST So today my friend invited me over to the library. She said she d be there 5:30, and I told her that I m leaving the house to make it there (I live further from the library). (And btw this was supposed to be our first time hanging outside of school.) So it s like 5:35 and I m on my way, and she calls me and says she can t make it anymore. Like seriously?? Last year my other friend had surgery, and I told her I wanted to visit her when she made it home. We agreed to a time and everything, and I even told her "okay I ll be there in an hour" and she said "okay I ll see you," I bought her a gift and everything, and when I drove to her house and knocked on the door, she wasn t even home! She later tells me that she didn t know i was coming, apologizing and blah blah, but how did she not know I was coming, when she told me what time to come and told me that she ll see me? I told her how I went all the way to the store, then back to her house, only for her to not be there, and she would just tell me that she s sorry and doesn t even care about the gift, that she would just want me to come. Well yeah, I didn t go back. I wasn t an idiot. But we did hang out a few times after that. I only have 1 friend right now that I can constantly see without her changing plans or something. In fact, she s the only one I even hang out with. Not because she s my only friend, but because she s the only reliable one who keeps to her word. |

Question: Two girls want to live with me? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:25 PM PST These two girls want to live with me and I had sex with one of them when I got black out drunk one night because of both of these girls. Since then I have been lifting lots of weights since these local kids have been trying to break into my house all the time. I got into a fight with two of them one night and had to take another kid down another night. These guys are stupid. I want to move out because of these robbers and all of a sudden these girls seem super excited to live with me and really want me to move in. Its a good thing to move in with them right? My current place constantly had hoodlum 16-18 year old bum drug slangers trying to break in multiple times a week in the dead of night. I have had to fight them in my living room too. I have been lifting weights just to feel somewhat safe at my house and I think it has helped. Police do nothing and I have had multiple discussions with them along with my neighbors who also have been robbed. LOL its a completely different place. Its a nicer house in a way different area of town. So I am moving with them into a house. I don't want to live where I am **** that |
Question: Classmates making fun of me? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:24 PM PST This may sound silly coming from a college student, but I was absent for a few days in a row due to persnal matters. My class has a group chat so we can all talk to each other on it. Someone asked what they missed today and apparently, they were all making fun of me in class today. and saying mean things Everyone liked his post. I feel so horrible right now, with other personal stuff I've been dealing with piling on. Should I just brush this off? I don't want my classmates hating me. I'd feel horrbile. I really don't feel like going back to class but I know I have to. help? |
Question: Should I report this person? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:12 PM PST I'm on the high school tennis team and we have a ranked system based on how many matches you have won in total. You can take someone's position by challenging them and winning an 8 game pro set. The person I challenged today acted extremely rude and wasn't a good sport at all. I won 3/8 at the beginning and he started saying f*** off whenever he would miss a point, hit balls over the fence, and throw his racket. It was persistent behavior and it was really uncalled for. I remained silent the whole game thinking that telling him to calm down would just make it worse as would telling on him at the start. He honestly seemed dangerous at the time and at the end he said he was gonna kill himself and jump off a bridge. At the end of the match, practice wasn't over but he was mad so he left and threw my water at me with force. |
Question: I need help to see if what I did was wrong or my friend is just crazy? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 02:07 PM PST My friend always hated her surname. It means duck in another language. So she tells all of the people that she meets that her surname is Berlinschi(which belongs to the secong half of her family). Today, i told her friend that her surname is rata. My friend found out and is now pissed only because I told her friend what her real surname is. |

Question: Should I say something to my coworker? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 01:54 PM PST On Saturday she called and asked if she could come by my place at 2:00 on Sunday so she could use my internet to finish some paperwork. I had nothing planned that day so I said yes. Long story short she never called, texted or showed up. I waited an hour - almost two after the scheduled time and still nothing. Should I confront her today about it? We ve hung out a few times after work and she s never lied and always showed up like she said. Or should I just let it go? I m the type of woman that hates to be lied to. |

Question: What do you think of this situation? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 01:39 PM PST Ok so at school today there was a group of girls I used to be friends with and is no longer friends with. The teacher partnered me up with them to do group work. We had to put each other's names on the paper and they all put me last on the paper. They don't even ask for help from me whenever they get stuck on a problem. They ask the people around them and the ones they think knows it in the group and I know the answer to their questions all the time but they never ask me. I'm in high school. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |
Question: I think im a horrible son? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 01:30 PM PST I am 13 and I am just an asshole. My parents are AMAZING and I would gladly do anything for them but lately I have just been an asshole. Ditching hw,doing it in class, hell I even skipped class for the first time ever. They say they cant trust me but since I have no friends and wont be going anywhere that wont be a problem. My birthday is on Friday and I have come to resent it. I really hate my life my sister is much better than me I just wanna kill myself. (P.S They know I am serverely depressed) I was born serverly sick at birth. I feel as though god brought me back at the last second to toy with my emotions later on. I wish I had just died then it wouldv'e saved them a heck of alot of trouble my sister is better anyway |
Question: Is grieving different for everyone? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 01:13 PM PST I have sent a Facebook request to her a couple months ago, and i suggested her friends but she didn't seen to want to accept them at the time as she is going through loss of her husband who died couple months ago, which is not long from now. I feel like she's ignoring me but I don't think she is, I think it was her way of saying that "this is not a good time right now", I'm not a close friend to her but I did give her my number in case she needed anything. I haven't contacted or done anything about it since i sent her a note. She didn't respond,i think that she needs her time alone.I dont think she is igorning me, i think she was telling me something by not accepting my friend request.I think she knows that Im trying to support her. Her and her spouse have been married for 60 years so I can understand why she is struggling with that. She says she feels lonely. My grandmother died from cancer last spring so I think in a way I'm not completely out of the grieving process of my grandmother as she was a special part of my life and is special in my heart, and i think the death of my grandmother is driving me to be there for her. When answering this, please do not give negative, judgmental, or sarcastic comments on this, or make bad judgements on my case. If you do, I will report it. Any guidance you can provide, Thanks you! He passed away from cancer Beatrice,I'm not offended by what she did Thank you for the responses, J. I agree that it might of been too early for me to do what i did and i didnt' realize what I might of done seemed to be wrong but i wasn't trying to be pushy. even though it may seem that way but i see what your saying. @Ok...i have no intention of having any romantic or intimacy with her, i just want to be her friend, we dont know each other well but she is a close friend of my granddads, we've met at a restaurant once and i met her again at my grandmas funeral after she passed away. I dont think she's ignoring me. |
Question: I have horrible friends. Are they worth it? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 01:09 PM PST I have three family friends who are unique in their own way. I'm in my second semester of college and they know I have zero friends. I message two of them and one says I don't talk about silly things. I was messaging about her regarding my incident with the advisor. As for my second family friend, I messaged her to meet up but she laughed at me the whole time and asked me if you went to the ball lonely and she ignores my messages and wants her to message her all the time. As for my last family friend who is my roommate, she is bossy, said I was disgusting and j don't shower and bangs the stuff in the room and also locked the door whenever I came into the room. She is also super religious and wants her ways for me to always say hello to her in our language. She's bossy. How do I handle such ppl? Are they worth it and am I depending on them too much? |

Posted: 07 Mar 2016 01:02 PM PST I know its not good to do that but she's the only reason people like me I can't get a guy to talk to me for my life unless its because of her. Posted: 07 Mar 2016 12:41 PM PST In my new school, people like call me boney and a stick a lot and I know they don't intend to offend me, but it kind of offends me. Like they think I take it lightly. My biggest insecurity is my nose, and that gets so much involuntary bullying. My nose looks 10x bigger without my glasses and I can't take them off in public or I feel so insecure. Today I took off my glasses for ******* 10 seconds and then my friend was like asking if I'm from a Slavic/czech nationality area and I said yes I'm polish and Russian and he like compared me to his polish and Russian friends and he said how amazing that it but then he ******* said "the only thing I don't like is their noses, they're really big" and I ******* wanted to cry at that point. People always say **** about my nose like that. I think I'm pretty. I have greenish blue eyes and dirty blonde hair and I'm tall and thin like a model with full lips and I think I have a kind heart too if I say so myself. It's just, I'm so insecure of my nose and honestly when people talk badly about it, my whole opinion of myself goes down and it makes me so damn upset and I don't know what to do |

Posted: 07 Mar 2016 11:50 AM PST Everyday my friend (who is 20 years old and has a job) text me complaining about her grandmother and the way she treats her (she lives with her grandma) so today I got tired of hearing the same story and I told her if she doesn't like her situation she either needs to move out, talk to her grandma, or stay and take her grandmas bull crap. She got mad at me and said my wording was insensitive. And maybe it was but I don't see the point in complaining about a situation you don't plan on changing. Does being real with her make me a bad friend? |
Question: Why dose my "friend" again? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 11:34 AM PST she got so moody over that i was not picking up litter at school on sport day. she said to me I DONT WANT TO BE FRIEND WITH YOU, i was like ok :( now she all around me and my bff. i don't get it . |
Question: How to get used to not talking to people? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 11:30 AM PST Alright, this is going to sound really bad and all, but I'm homeschooled and I don't have many friends in real life. I'm done trying to socialize on the internet cause the majority of the people here are ***holes who will hate on anything in existence. Anyways, I was wondering how to get used to the fact that I won't be talking to people much, anytime soon, anyways. |

Question: My girl left me for my best friend, and now they're dating.? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 11:05 AM PST There was a girl who I dated for about three months, and I thought we had a pretty good thing going, until one day out of the blue she sat me down and asked if we could just be friends. She proceeded to then go right after my best friend, who I introduced her to, and they apparently have been a thing for a couple weeks behind my back at this point, and just came to me about it recently. They don't seem like they want to hurt me, but they don't care enough to stop dating each other. I was planning on living with my best friend once I graduated highschool this year, because me and him are going to the same college. It's a bit difficult to just leave them, because all of my friends, I go to a small school, all hang out in one group with them included. This is bothering me to the point where I am upset with them both, and have considered self harm. What do I do? They weren't a thing until after me and her split, but she split with me because she was into him. But they got together within two weeks of me and her splitting. I'm usually I tough guy, but this has turned me into an emotional wreck, and I don't know what to do. Do I confront them both and tell them that I'm upset with them? Me and her sat down and cried about the situation last week, and she talked about ending it, but I talked her out of it because I was being too nice. Thanks for the help |
Question: Who is Drake and what is Hotline Bling? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 10:59 AM PST I know, I know, I'm very behind the times. The thing is, I'm a teenage girl, and literally everyone at my school talks about it. I mean, no, they don't "talk" about it, but they make references to it. I'm confused about the whole thing? Apparently it's a super popular song, but I never hear it playing on the radio. And they always talk about the dance moves - okay? So he did dance moves, so what? Also, WHY DOESN'T HE HAVE A LAST NAME? Can SOMEBODY please explain how this got popular and why? |

Question: I don't know how to comfort my friend? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 10:48 AM PST My best friend's parents are going through a divorce and she's reacting very badly. She always asks me for advice for issues like how her dad won't let her see her mom and how her mom bought a new apartment. My parents have went through the same thing before but changed their minds right before the divorce. Even worse, I don't know what to tell my friend anymore. SHe dodges all my experience and advice. I want to be there for her...what do I do? |
Question: Am I in the wrong here? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 10:43 AM PST had this fight with my friend because we always make plans and then she always plans something on the same day, always does this, we have planned this trip for months and then she tells me she can't go because she has a wedding to go to, I was upset and told her I was done with her always doing this to me. and she called me toxic and told me to grow up which I have, i even waited a year to go to college so we could go together and haven't moved out because we are suppose to get an apartment together, she said that I was toxic and that she already replaced me as a best friend with someone else and that I should go F*** myself, then later she said I'd never be replaced and I'd always be her best friend but she made me the bad guy because she's canceling on the wedding to go on this trip that I've already put $250 in. she didn't pay anything because her boyfriend paid for hers but they broke up but she's still going because I already put money down. I know I'm not the best friend but she always does this. She says its because I wasn't talking to her so she wasn't sure if we were going but the thing is I don't text 24/7 because when I'm at work, I'm at work or if I"m with another friend I"m with them and not on my phone. So sometimes I don't respond all the time, and she knows this, she always uses this as an excuse as to why she doesn't tell me things or keep our plans. I told her all that and now she hasn't responded. Did I overreact? I'm just tired of being the bad guy. |

Posted: 07 Mar 2016 10:37 AM PST There is a young lady I met online and through a mutual friend. I want to be her friend and I think my inviting her out for takeout pizza has been mistaken for wanting something more than friendship. I've been very careful to avoid anything that could be misinterpreted, so far as to wanting her friends and my friends to join both of us. She contacted me on facebook saying want "a relationship" I told her I'm only interested in friendship. (I'm already pursuing a relationship with another girl I like and I told her this) She hasn't responded. I don't feel comfortable saying much more to her unless it is though our mutual friend. I really want to get to know her better because she and I have similar quirks |
Question: I want to meet new people and explore new interests. How can I do so? Posted: 07 Mar 2016 10:27 AM PST Hello. I'm 19 and i'm currently going to community college. I've always been a big nerd and loved things like anime, comic books, cartoons, ect. Its always been what me and my friends have bonded over. But recently, they have been so repetitive with their fandoms, and its become obnoxious. They get hooked on a particular topic, and talk about it for months. If I ever mention anything besides what they like, they kinda just shove me off and go back to exactly what they were talking about.... I still like anime, comic books, and all that stuff... but its become my friends only interest. I just want to talk about other things that I enjoy, like maybe girly things or find new hobbies I can converse with with people about? I also really want to branch out and meet new people, because some of my friends are VERY dramatic and get carried away with things. Some of them make the most ridiculous lies, and get into stupid fights about dumb things. Where can I meet new people? And what hobbies should I invest myself in? |
