Question: Marrying my Mexican partner? Posted: 06 Nov 2018 06:07 PM PST If I marry my Mexican American partner and he has two last names (maternal and paternal) what is my name supposed to be after marriage? And, I'm Asian American. I only have one last name. For example, if his last names are Andrade and De Jesus, will my last name just be De Jesus?
Question: How much money is too much as a wedding present? Posted: 06 Nov 2018 05:24 PM PST So a couple of friends got engaged last month, I already gave them a present. But I'm thinking of slipping some money inside their Christmas card to go towards their wedding fund. How much is ideal? I was thinking £100- is this too much/too little?
Posted: 06 Nov 2018 04:49 PM PST I'm going to do them both in the same day so technically I'm getting married in the same state .
Posted: 06 Nov 2018 04:09 PM PST I would feel like such a 2nd rate family member not to be included but since my parents enjoy holding grudges I am afraid we will be the only group (my parents, myself, and my two brothers) excluded from weddings for cousins of ours. I hurt when rejected and worry it means we don't count as part of the family.
