Question: Am I right or wrong for not wanting to take pictures with my sister's wedding party? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 04:19 PM PDT My sister is 3 years older than me and this is her 2nd wedding. Her first wedding, she eloped and so I never got to go to that. This one is a big event where there will be hundreds of people. My sister was engaged between her last marriage and this one and when she was engaged before, she made me a bridesmaid. This time around, she did not. I asked her about this because I was hurt and she said that she only wanted to ask people who were supportive to her and her fiance. I tried to get an explanation and basically she said those who were in their friend group. I have been there for my sister through years or trials and tribulations and I was so hurt that she didn't want me around to help her try on dresses and plan the event. I felt very forgotten. As one of the women in her bridal party and her hadn't spoken for years yet she chose her as a bridesmaid. I have been a free babysitter for her daughter for years, have gone through all our milestones together and yet still, feel heartbroken, like I'm finding out it didn't mean the same to her as it meant to me. After I expressed my hurt, she made the comment that just because someone's not in your bridal party doesn't mean they aren't as important as those in it. Huh? Me expressing my hurt has caused her to lash out at me and tell me all the times I didn't go places she invited me and times I didn't do this or that. Now I don't want to be in the bridal pictures she asked me and my grandma to be in and she's very angry with me.
Question: How to prepare to be a wedding planner? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 02:07 PM PDT I'm a sophomore in high school but I believe I would like to plan weddings as a career. Are there classes I should take? Skills I should have? Stuff I should plan for? I'm planning on going to college.
Question: How can someone find out that you got married without you telling them? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 12:44 PM PDT I got married in August of 2016 at a courthouse with my boyfriend, we didn t tell any of my family members, only a few close friends (I do not get along with my family at all). I didn t tell them because although ive was living on my own for 4 years they were still trying to control every aspect of my life. Anyways a year later I had my son the day before our anniversary and my father called me and started yelling at me for not telling him that I was married. I have no possible idea how he found out. I know it wasn t one of our friends.
