Posted: 03 Nov 2018 05:49 PM PDT I heard this today "Chorus class is a refuge for kids who are otherwise outcasts to feel like they're not outcasts for once in their life."
Question: Why do some people do the very thing they were told not to do? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 05:16 PM PDT My brother does this all the time. Example, he was in the car with me. He started to touch a senestive part of the controls. I then kindly said "Please don't touch that". But he proceeds to keep touching it. I then just say "you don't want to touch that" he replies with "It's fine!".
Question: Am I a good friend to.her or.has she moved onto other group of friends? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 05:09 PM PDT I have a friend who is a girl at my college. We spent more time when we were in classes, but since we no longer take the same classes, we're not seeing each other as much nor talking to each other much. We hung out on campus before, studying and also outside of campus to eat lunch/dinner before a few times. Recently, I felt a bit irrelevant to her due to something she said, which was a misunderstanding out of my self-consciousness. I drew myself away from her, but as soon as she noticed, she had contacted me meet up for lunch with me to hold the friendship together. I felt bad that I had done that, so I asked her to hangout for coffee a couple of days ago on campus. I was careful to ask her to coffee, insisting that if she is busy and can't meet up, would be also okay with me. I thought she'd say no after the incident but she said yes. She's the studious type, not the party type but also unwinds once in a while. I guess I kinda like her... she sometimes responds on social media slow, really slow but when we talk, if I post something on social media that is relevant, she'll bring it up. So she seems to be paying attention to what I post, although she's not on social media much. Has she moved on and enjoys company with her new friends more?

Question: People say I look aggressive and mad when I don't smile.? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 03:44 PM PDT I am a guy in his 30s. A bunch of my friends recently told me that when they first saw me they thought I looked very aggressive, serious and unfriendly, about to punch someone in the face anytime if triggered, so they didn't dare to approach me at all. But once they get to know me, or once I started talk they were shocked at how big of a contrast my face and my personality is( I think i should take this as compliment?) I didn't realize this until recently, cuz I called two of my BEST friends, and they all tell me the same thing, they also told me I look blue or depressed when i'm eating with other people because i don't like to talk with food in my mouth, therefore I just listen to other people most of the time, and talk very few. I try to smile 24/7 to make myself look friendly but then people started to ask me if I am ok cuz i look weird. I don't get it, when i look natural i look aggressive, when i fake smile i look weird.... what the F should I do? Or should i just F it and be myself, but in the meanwhile talk more so ppl know i am not an aXXhole?
Posted: 03 Nov 2018 03:29 PM PDT I've been best friends with this person for over 5 years. Weve bonded and went through everything together. Lately hes chosen a new girlfriend and drugs over me and college. This has caused many fights and hatred. His parents are like my 2nd family. They have been there for over 5 years and I've grown to consider them my family. Theyve helped me out of situations and are great friends with my parents as well. Because of my friends actions, is it weird that I still talk to his parents and eat dinner with them? Because me and my friend now hate eachother, should I stop talking to his parents too? Thank you!

Question: Friends in jeopardy do to relationship, need opinions on how to handle? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 01:52 PM PDT So I made out with a friend between 5 and 7 times while drunk, no sex, over the period of a little over a year. We always talked about it and made it clear not to have sex and to keep it as a friendship, I ve even let her hook up with guys in my apartment so it was very clear to me . A mutual friend of ours, who I ve always had a very strong attraction to, professed she was into me so we started dating, and now she s my gf. I talked to my about everything and she means a lot to me. Now the other friend is extremely jealous and is putting the friendships in our entire group in jeopardy. My gf and I are over it but what s your opinion on potentially saving the friendships we have, it s there a path of redemption in this situation? Worse case scenario we make new friends.

Question: Is it bad to be embarrassed to live next to your crush? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 01:03 PM PDT I hate that I live next to my crush because I don't have my own place I live with my parents and they are very loud and embarrassing. I'm just not happy with him knowing my business. I find nothing cute about I hate it. I'm always paranoid whenever I leave my house that he'll jump out of the bushes or see me with his friends ..don't get me wrong I do enjoy seeing him but sometimes when you don't look your best you really want privacy..I'm so embarrassed and just can't help it is this bad? I have my own car but not my own place and I feel ashamed..this guy really likes me but as a woman you want privacy and control I just feel like this is so unfortunate and i hate it..he even goes around telling people that I'm his girl and would point out my house..gosh I hate it..please help?
Question: How to ask someone for money when they owe you? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 12:52 PM PDT I bought pasta and wings for my roommate and I last night ($35 plus a $5.00 tip) and she told me that she'd give me $20 (her half) the next day. However, she mentioned to me that she got paid today, but she hasn't paid me yet, and I really need my money. So, how do I mention to her that I need the $20 that she said she was going to give me?

Question: Why is my friend obsessed with anime and trying to look Asian? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 11:55 AM PDT ever since she started dating this guy a few years ago she's been obsessed with anime and looking Asian and all Japanese culture and only eats Japanese food. I don't understand it. and I barely get what she's talking about half of the time. she only talks about anime or only wants to talk about anime. she will disregard anything else. so it's just awkward and I can't talk to her because idk what the significance of one piece or yuri on ice is. I don't get it or understand her anymore her boyfriend isn't even Asian. but he's obsessed with anime. before she never even cared about it much
Question: Was I wrong for putting the dishes back in the sink? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 11:48 AM PDT I live in a college apartment with 6 people, including me. One of my apartment-mates doesn't really know how to wash dishes (in my opinion), and she keeps putting dirty dishes back with the clean ones. For instance, she made spaghetti last night, and after she washed her dishes, she put them on the dish rack. However, the saucepan still had dried up pasta sauce in it, and every utensil she used still had dried up food on them. So, I put the dishes she "washed" back in the sink. Was I wrong for doing that?

Question: This is why i hate females. why do they all do this to me? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 10:26 AM PDT i hate rejection. i really do. but what i hate most is when they act as if they are interested inh me. any man in my shoes would think they're attraction they show is genuine. when i meet her a girl. and she laughs, talks to me, dances, some even kissing me. but then idk whats with women but the next day they wont give a phuck about me. it's like their attraction for someone can be dead just like that, or either they all were using me for validation. once i show im interested and engaged enought, they drop me. why do these girls all play rthis shiit. if i like i woman i like her and want to meet her and see her. girls just ghost. the next days after meeting her. you text her for a bit, then she will ghost at any second. engaged in texting for a bit.. thewn she kills. leaving my msg to never be responded to. wtf. no logic there. even though days before you were flirting with me and all on me... this make me hate females when this keeps happening because they are all fake, attention validation seekers, gold diggers. thats why they always screw me in the end. being LEAD ON and lied to is the same as rejection but worse. because they give me hopes then make the rejection worse because of thos false hopes. it's like they like doing this to me. it's just a game for them and an ego boost. the devil's work.
Question: How can I surprise my wife on her birthday ? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 10:26 AM PDT Me (27) and my wife (23) have been married for two years. We met in a restaurant she used to work at and our relationship went from there, she is a very shy and respectful girl, My life was pointless and empty without her, she stood by me through thick and thin. We are very close to each other and we do everything together, we go for walks, we have picnics, watch movies, cook, I help her with cleaning. I'm a maintenance guy and she's a cleaning lady so our financial situation is not very good but she is very understanding, we live in a small one bedroom apartment. Now her birthday is right around the corner and I can't think of a special way to surprise her and show her how appreciative and lucky I'm for having her. Any advice ? Thanks in advance.
Posted: 03 Nov 2018 08:38 AM PDT So me , my friend, her sister and her sister's friend are in marching band. We're freshman and they're seniors and yesterday was the end of the season because we lost the playoff game. My friend has been in marching band since 7th grade playing flute and I've been in it since 8th grade playing Clarinet. These two seniors have taught us so much and are the reason we've become good musicians and it really hurts that they're leaving. We want to give them a gift that's memorable because they're really special to us. We just don't know what to give them. Any suggestions ?
Posted: 03 Nov 2018 08:15 AM PDT I had fun with this friend of mine and I used to remember them like "oh yeah we were like besties" but lately i realized... I didnt even knoe them that well, we never confided in each other about deeper things, and plus if we were that close then we porbably would still be talking today. I guess being able to laugh and have a lot of fun with someone does not mean youre super close.
Question: What does it mean when he does this? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 06:11 AM PDT My male best friend and mfwb (married friends with benefits) got me a friendship promise ring. I had asked him about it and he said he can't do rings because he's married. I said okay and never mind because I didn't want to force him getting me one. A few days later I sent him a picture of two friendship jewelry. One a friendship promise necklace and one a friendship promise ring. I said I like these if you want to get me one, it's up to you, I don't want to force it. Well a week or two later he surprised me with getting me a friendship promise ring I liked. I couldn't believe it because I really thought he wasn't going to get me one. A plain gold ring that has a heart and when you take the ring off the inside engraving says best friends on it.
Question: Being bullied really badly? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 06:08 AM PDT Happened for 2 years now. It started because people made up rumours about me (which were not true) and spreading them all over snapchat. Obviously everyone believed it because if you didn't you 'weren't cool'.Everyone would make me seem like a huge ***** for stuff I didn't even do. At first, I would laugh it off but it's gotten too much. A few months ago they stole pictures of me and made a fake account on Instagram and would post stuff and message people horrible things making out that i was saying it. Obviously everyone would believe it was me. My only friend got homeschooled so I'm alone all the time at school. People should abuse at me inside of school. I didn't go out one time through the summer holidays because they lived in my area and my anxiety got that bad. I finally built up the courage to go out with my friend that got homeschooled, but I people from school and they started shouting at me. Yesterday, I was walking home and i saw 3 people from school. One of them started name calling me and shouting. I've told teachers but the best they did was talk to them, which didn't help at all because they carried on. She keeps telling me to 'just ignore them'. I never say anything back to them i just ignore it but on the inside I just want to cry and I can't take it anymore. Parents have tried ringing up the school multiple times because I was in tears but they're just at the point where they ignore my parents calls
Question: A friend of mine seems to try to get away from we, what should I do? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 04:44 AM PDT a friend of mine seems to try to get away from me, we both like videogames. We used to play some games on pc, but the the last Christmas he decided to buy a ps4. this has moved us even further, because he plays with his friends who have the same console. A week we went out about 4 days, but the last two weeks went out only 1. I ve known him since 2013, we were in the same class at middle school, but now we are in two different classes at high school. We only see each other when we take the bus, but we have different times, only three days a week we have the same. We hardly ever chat, and when we are in the same bus, he spend half of the time with one of his classmate. I m not jealous, but it s the only time I can talk to him. I gave him a game for his birthday, the 1 November, (obviously on pc), but it doesn t work, so i said I was gonna help him to fix the error and he said yes. Unfortunately, he hasn t said anything since then, I wanted to invite him to my place to finally fix the problem, but I m a bit shy and I don t want to annoy him. What should I do?

Posted: 03 Nov 2018 02:15 AM PDT I have a friend who is considered to be my best friend and sometimes she acts like she really hates me One day i told her that i like a guy and she told me that i am too ugly for him One other day she told me that a girl called me ugly only to make me feel bad...and she was enjoying it while she was telling me that She interrupt me when we speak with others and she always try to prove to everyone that she is better than me She embarrass me in front of others and try to make me look small and worthless Anyway i dont know why she tries so hard to prove me that i am ugly and useless What is her problem with me? I have never done something bad to her

Question: On average when woman friendships get into fights they are more likely to end it.? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 01:02 AM PDT I have looked up oftentimes but not always true that female friends when they get into fights that they are more likely to end friendships than male friends when they get into fights. With male friends it is usually dry different. Why are male friends more likely to still be friends than female friends after they got into an argument?
Question: Why are Italian women so scary in their ways and attitudes? Posted: 03 Nov 2018 12:06 AM PDT Italian women looks for a weak men, men that lacks a masculine presence. Italian women always wants the upper hand in the relationship and wants the man to be under her thumb and under her rule. Italian women will order her husband around and treat him like an animal. Italian women will put out to other men while married. Italian women don't see their husband anymore than a sex resource and a slave.
Question: I ended a friendship because of an ex, did I handle this correctly? Posted: 02 Nov 2018 11:02 PM PDT I dated this guy in college for half a second it was never serious we were friends and after our fling if you will he got into a serious relationship with another girl and I moved on with my life. We tried to remain friends but he made it weird by still trying to initiate sex with me. I told him never to contact me again. I'm no home wrecker. He then proceeds to tell me after I told him to leave me alone that he will because his girl doesn't want him hanging around with me which I totally understood and respected her wishes. Didn't hang out with the same group of friends because they were his friends first and I had plenty of other people to hang with. Fast forward 6 years he is married to the same girl and I'm happier than ever however over the past year or two he has reached out through a mutual friend over a handful of times to "clear the air". I told our friend to tell him I'm not mad or upset but I still am choosing to keep my distance out of respect for both of our situations. However this guy won't quit. He keeps asking to meet with me through this friend and the friend gave me his number I immediately told our friend if you both can not respect my wishes them I'm done and blocked him. I feel bad that I blocked my friend we have known each other for years but I explained several times why I do not wish to interact with this guy. Did I handle this correctly?
Question: Needed advice about a roommate issue? Posted: 02 Nov 2018 10:34 PM PDT So I live in a for bedroom dorm at my university. That means all four us of have our own rooms and we just share a bathroom. I've been taking to this guy that I met for a few weeks now and one day he wanted to come over and see me (we've hung out before)because he'd be busy all afternoon the rest of the day. Hé came over around 5am(yeah i know early) and he left at like 10am we made no noise and none of my other roommates knew until I told one( she's my best friend). She's now flipping out and telling me that I'm basically being stupid about having brought him over so early without telling them not even them just her. But what I was supposed to wake her up for her at 5 am to let her know" hey I'm getting some wanted to let you know"? Like who does that. She keeps telling me to think about safety and etc, and I have I have pepper spray and a whole pocket knife under my mattress if anything goes down, which it won't because like previously stated I've been talking to him for a while and we've hung out before. I need another persons point of view.
Question: Why does this classmate seem to be against me? Posted: 02 Nov 2018 09:41 PM PDT She acts nice to me, but when she shares her thoughts in groups, she never looks at me or bothered to ask for my opinions.
Question: How should act around these girls who bully me? Posted: 02 Nov 2018 09:22 PM PDT I'm tired of being a victim and I don't want them to pick on me anymore. I'm a junior in college. In my class we are forced to do group activities in our permanent groups. These girls are almost exactly like mean girls from the movie. They are all best friends except for me. Some are seniors others aren't. When we do group activities they literally ignore me. So I try to be a part of the group and talk to all of them and help with the assignment but they whisper to each other about me and laugh. It makes me feel really insecure. Because they make me feel insecure I do unintentional stupid things in front of them, performing badly and that makes them hate me even more and make fun of me more. They'll roll their eyes and probably wonder how I function. However the things I do aren't even that bad, they magnify them and make me feel worse. I'm thinking, I don't want to run away from these girls because I know I'll meet assholes like this outside from college. How should I stand up to them? I was thinking to literally sit there and don't do anything. Just go on my phone and let then do all the work for the activity. But that makes me feel really immature, I'm someone who's considerate and likes to contribute, I'm not lazy. But I hate interacting with them. Please help me!
