Posted: 05 Dec 2017 09:07 PM PST Hey, my boyfriend and I are getting engaged. I proposed to him because he wanted me to propose to him. He also wants me to buy the engagement rings because he doesn't have a job yet but I do. Is it wrong of me to feel bothered by that? I know it's not gender based, but I didn't want to be the one to propose to him, I wanted him to propose to me. |
Question: What happens if your marriage certificate never gets filed? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 07:36 PM PST Let's say you get your marriage license and for whatever reason it never gets sent officially back to the courthouse. Does anything happen? - if for whatever reason you decide to cancel/postpone your wedding do you need to return the certificate back blank or does it just void and expire after 60 days and you'd just need to get another one again with no implications? - or what if a friend gets ordained and you have them officiate and have a small ceremony but never turn in the certificate - does it actually count or can it be like a symbolic marriage? |
Question: Civil/Legal ceremony then Catholic wedding? Con-validation Help!? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 03:58 PM PST my question is - is there a way to have a civil marriage (our friend was ordained and can sign the certificate and we'll have a few close friends "marry us" like a special ceremony) and then have the church ceremony in 2020 without tons of issues? I know there is what's called "convalidation" for the church to essentially bless a marriage that wasn't done in the church - but is this ceremony different? Do they say during the ceremony at all that we're already married, that this is a convalidation or renewal of vows and not a sacrament of marriage? We want the church wedding to still be big - we don't want just the priest to do a quick "blessing." What are the legal/catholic implications of doing this? -------- So hear me out - my fiance and I are both Catholic and we're ready to be married; we've been together for 7 years. We have to wait until 2020 to get married since our family members (cousins, siblings, etc.) all have weddings within 6 month of each other until then... For my culture it's considered rude to sort of undercut family and therefore we can't really have our church wedding until 2020. My culture also has pretty strict rules about how the wedding should be so aside from not really wanting to wait 3 years for no reason, we also want to have a special ceremony where we're able to celebrate as we wish. |
Posted: 05 Dec 2017 01:49 PM PST I cannot find fake blue orchids that are this vibrant and I've heard that real blue orchid bleed in the water because they are dyed. Yet many weddings show a centerpiece like this I just don't know if there is some secret I am not aware of. - Pic Attached |

Question: Should I buy this engagement ring? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 07:28 AM PST Things I'm concerned about: Stock photo not a real photo Says 14K white gold in listing but 18K in description https://www.ebay.com/itm/14k-White-Gold-Princess-cut-Solitaire-Diamond-Engagement-Ring-Size-7-1-4-CTW/162708976513?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 |
Question: Do any straight guys watch tranny prons? Or does it make them gay? Posted: 04 Dec 2017 08:17 PM PST I mean cute feminine looking ones, not masculine Mike Tyson in a dress types. |
