My parents say that i should make friends or else people are gonna thing im weird. That only makes my social anxiety worse but they dont care. skipped pe last class because i had a panic attack and i was embarrassed so i skipped pe the next day and my dad said if i do it again hes gonna tell the teacher i eat lunch in the bathroom. Her hair and style was so great. I learned her name, and like me, she has a twin sister, and is an Honors kid. I spoke to her a couple of times last year, complimenting her shoes or whatever. She isn t unfriendly, but kind of shy and an introvert. This year, we got assigned to be freshman leaders in the same homeroom and are in the same winter sport, so I really hoped that I d get to be friends with her, but so far that hasn t really happened. I ve gotten to know her twin (whose more extroverted) better because we have the same block off, and the two of them are really good friends with another set of twins that I know really well. So we do have friends in common. The thing is that she, although an introvert, already has a large, established friend group. I invited both twins to my sister and I s annual Christmas party and I coincidentally ended with with this girl as my person to be Secret Santa for. I got her a nice present which she really liked and spent a while just hanging out with her, her sister, and another friend of theirs. It was great, but I felt kind of left out. Then he said on Friday during gym one of the 3rd grade girls went into the boys locker room and showed off her boobs he said one of her friends dared her to do it. He told his coach but they didn't care. I didn't go to that school till I was in middle school I wasn't there in elementary so I don't know how elementary kids are there. It's kindergarted to 4th grade there. They must have changed stuff now kids have to go and wait for the bus in the gym when I went we waited in the classroom. I don't know who those kids belong too I hope they're none of my friends kids. Some of those kids have had teen mothers probably where they get all this from. Back in grade school, he used to be a complete d*ckhead to me all the time because he was the biggest out of all the guys and so he thought he was superior. One time he slammed my head against a wall for no reason. Two other times he tried to square up with me and kept shoving me, and looking back I knew he didn't have the balls to take a swing. I'm bigger than I used to be but he is still a fat f*ck. I know he would never be able to catch up to me. I accidentally broke his computer screen at school a few days ago (yes, it was on accident) and I told him I would buy him a new screen because they are like 30$ since his computer is pretty cheap. He got rid of it and his mom bought him a new computer without him knowing so he's p*ssed at me for not paying, even after I offered to. All he needed was a new screen he didn't have to throw the whole computer away. All he does is threaten me. He's never going to take a swing and he knows it. He talks a big game like he is such a good fighter because he's bigger than me. He's talking all this sh*t to me now and I just ignore it. Looking back at elementary I was more outgoing then I am now and had a lot of people whom I considered friends. I think it all started after I finished 4th grade then I moved to a new school in 5th grade which I had friends in 5th grade too but then I moved again for 6th grade which is when it really started at this new school I had trouble making friends so I guess that's when I started to get used to being by myself. But I feel like if I have more friends I'll be satisfied and more happy like I used to be. So far I feel like my high school experience is boring. The people at my school go to parties and stuff. This makes it hard for me to become friends with someone. I haven't really had the best luck with friends. | Question: What the eff is wrong with my right ear? (Itchiness)? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 09:03 PM PST I moved from Houston, TX to Phoenix,AZ a little over 9 years ago now. Ever since I have lived here, I would become plagued with an intense itch in my right ear, feeling it it is coming from behind the ear drum. J have used hydrogen peroxide (with a doctor's guidance), ear candles (to remove lose excess wax), and have had bothbears throughly examined. I was give what are essentially calamine lotion ear drop for the symptomns, but never a diagnois. I have pluged te ear woth cotton at night, bought room humidifiers...I am losing my mind. It feels like an inner/middle ear problem, but nonobe cane seem to find one. i have a acheduled appointmetnwith my current GP on Tuesday abd plannto have hikm check it out, as he hasn't yet. Any ideas or suggestions for relief until then are welcome. I am to the point that I am thinking if I just rupture the ear drun, the fluid or whatever would leave, and the ifching will stop. His ex girlfriend became my best friend after they broke up a year ago. Recently they have been hanging out together with another good friend of mine. It makes me mad neither have invited me, as that old friend was my best friend. I found out about this through Snapchat maps. And it's my female friend who's only aware of our reconciliation, so I feel that I can't trust her no more. |

| Question: Feeling out of place? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 08:50 PM PST Hey guys, so I just got home from college yesterday for holiday break. My birthday was on Monday, but all but one of my friends actually remembered - the others did not wish me a happy birthday until at least 9 at night, after my cousin posted a shout-out on Instagram. This upset me, but I knew I would be having my friends over for pizza on Friday night. So that was last night. Except, half of the people I invited showed up 3 and a half hours late - they decided to see the new star wars movie. And the other half came only an hour and a half late, seeming miserable until the others showed up. One of the guests who came earlier (who I consider to be my closest friend), knew my birthday was ruined last year when he invited another girl to my birthday celebration without my permission, invited a girl to my house last night. This made me feel like crap, as if I am no good and that my company is not enough for anyone. When the people who came from the movie showed up, they brought in like 4 extra guests! All of my guests, invited and uninvited, made me feel completely invisible and just left me a bunch of trash to clean up after they left. And some casually wished me a happy birthday at my house last night, but nobody gave me any gifts. That shouldn't bother me, I know, but they all give each other shout-outs and presents for birthdays and Christmas, and I always make sure to provide for them, and I get nothing in return ever. I guess I am just upset. |

| Question: How can I feel inspired? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 07:27 PM PST I'm a 20 year old guy. I feel very uninspired and bored. I work at a grocery store, which my parents drive me to and back home. I make no money hardly. I wasn't a good student no matter how hard I worked, so after I finished high school I decided I wanted to work. I can't afford a car. Also, I have no friends. I don't want to ask girls out because I have no car. Any ideas? I'm starting to have a bad attitude toward work and I feel like just laying in my bed. I have nothing to look forward to and I'm sick of it. I feel like I work for nothing. |

I am now in my bare feet in my room and since it is warm out and I am not getting out of my car and only going to be gone for 10 minutes I am just going to drive my car in my bare feet and not bring my shoes. |

Posted: 16 Dec 2017 05:56 PM PST I am in nursing school at a large university, and I am entering my last semester of college with no real friends. A little background - most of the girls are in sororities - and I am not. I also am quite shy so it is hard for me to approach and talk to people. I have made some acquaintances in my clinical group, however, they are starting to not really include me in anything. I am the only student with a 4.0, and I can tell some of them are jealous, and the few times they have included me in some activity, I could not go because I was studying. I guess I have faced the reality that I am not going to make friends in college, so is there any advice on how to make friends once I graduate? |

Can you be in love with somebody who is just a friend? I'm almost 27 and have gone through many points of people telling me I don't love somebody just because we've never dated. I'm in love with a friend of mine who is unavailable and I truly do feel in my heart that I'm in love with him. I respect his situation and have even gone as far as calling him my "brother", so that he never gets the idea that my feelings for him are romantic. Do you think you can be in love with somebody you've never dated? |
