I was kind of the underdog for a while but this afternoon I managed to get this girls number. She texted me her name so I'd know it's her. I'm trying to start something and I work with disabled teens bi weekly. I was thinking of inviting her and maybe from there taking her downtown (I live in Chicago). But I feel like the kids would show her that I'm a decent guy. I'm not going to lie at first I was just attracted to her body but I'd like to get to know her I just wouldn't know what to say. But you know I had to tell my friends that I got her number.

I am 19 turning 20 next month, and i am going to make this very short. My mother is a narcissistic and if you do not know what that means, its when someone is controlling and verbally abusive. My mom has been controlling and verbally abusive, my whole life but when i was young she was physically abusive but it all stopped when i started highschool. Im a full time student in college , and want to find a part time job. i've applied almost everywhere and no one as given me a call yet, and i getting sad and worried for my self because the longer i live with my mom, i maybe wont even life long. because she is the reason why i have anxiety and suicidal thoughts. can someone give me any advice on how to land a job ? thanks

So I have a friend, let's call her ' max ' she's pretty girly, can be a bit boy crazy and emotional, doesn't always think things through before saying them.. I told her that this guy, let's call him ' Warren ' who I never really hang out with, gave me what I'm assuming was a Christmas gift. Warren and I have a few classes together, he's pretty nice, he phrases things oddly at times I think because he's autistic. But all in all, from what I've seen he's a nice guy. I don't know too much about him since we don't really hang out or talk too often. My friend thinks he has a crush on me? I don't think he does.. but i do find it a bit strange to give a gift to someone who you don't talk to too often. He'll sometimes come up and chat with my friends and I during lunch, normally he just tells us we're weirdos. I'm a bit stressed since max will pick on me about it, and whenever I feel embarrassed my face gets red, I sometimes awkwardly smile, and end up going on stupid rants about weird pointless stuff. Since my step siblings came over we had Christmas early and I opened what he gave me. It was a sketchbook and pencils. I am often drawing in class, but my friend max was telling me that it means he likes me? Paper and pencils arnt exactly romantic.. I donno how to feel. We're in high school. If anyone could shed light on what's going on I'd be greatful, I have a hard time reading and understanding people's emotions sometimes.

I live in ny and have custody of my child..father has visitation. He has not spoken to or seen our child going on 7 years. My husband is about to go to training to become a BPA.. which means we would have to move to texas. I know i have to ask for courts permission..my question is can her father fight and win ?will judge allow me to move? Is this opening up a door for him to change custody?An any other info i need to know please feel free to tell me!

Whenever i go somewhere outside the house (library, store, friend's house) my mom tells me where I've been and says she has people who text her where I'm at around town. (I'm almost 16 btw.) i guess i understand her wanting me to be safe, but it's really creepy and when i ask about it she yells at me and says she can do what she wants. Am i the only person who finds this creepy?

ok i'm homeschooled so i only have like 5 friends that are close to me. i've been best friends with this girl for like 2 years. she used to be homeschooled and ever since she went back to regular high school..she's so self absorbed and everything hurts her feelings. super insecure. she acts just like her mom which isn't a good thing. she's very passive aggressive and we have a big fight every month. she's very difficult to stay friends with but she's literally my only friend i hang out with until i go to public school. should i stay friends with her or next time we have a fight should i stop being her friend?

Yesterday, I thought I would at least work 2 more weekends at a job I worked 4 years at. I gave my written notice due to finally being fed up being treated like garbage by my direct manager and then by the fifth operations manager at the job. My direct manager has given me attitude on the job way before he became my manager. I got a new job last month that was 5 days a week, full-time with better pay that's also union with health benefits. I stayed at this job I've been working at for 4 years just to work weekends and I still got treated like crap-not trusted, yelled at, criticized. Anyways, I ran into 2 of my former coworkers. I helped them out a lot. One of whom, I gave a $100 gift card for his birthday last year to use to go out to dinner with his direct family. Both of them weren't sorry to see me go. One of them said to me, "Why are you even here?" I do have to go back to this job to pick up my final paycheck and to give one of my former female coworkers a Christmas present. At this point, I kind of don't feel like visiting one more time even to pick up my last pay check. I could've handled to keep working at this job because I liked working 2 jobs BUT the work environment just kept sucking. I shouldn't have had to keep getting treated like garbage at a job I only worked weekends at. Customers weren't that big of a reason for me leaving. It was the toxic environment.

Wife who married rich man does not provide housework and do only 10 percent of his work and he let her enjoy 50 percent of his fortune and they try not to give their fortune to their children for an excuse of work experience. Why the man does not give his company to children to run it and also give all his fortune? So child can have work experience and enjoy his fortune too? If child fails company running, wife may fail running the company so he must not give chance to his wife running he company and also don't give money to his wife isn't it? Otherwise it sounds like he is discriminating wife and child
