I feel like this is the right thing to do because my friend has done nothing to her and she bullies her for no reason and we aren't able talk to the school about her getting beat because it was outside of school property. Calling the police would make it too much of a big deal but I know a lot of older kids who know my sister in my high school who will help me who could jump this girl so she never bothers my friend again. |

Posted: 31 Dec 2017 02:52 PM PST So idk how to put this, but I was going to my friend's house, I knock on the door (no doorbell) a window from the side of the house opens, I say "is HE there" all of a sudden the dad opens the door I ask for his son to give him what he needed. They tell me he is in the restroom I say "cool I''ll wait" after a good ten seconds of silence in the night btw I get a "ohhh wowww". Yes I was dressed good, hair slicked back and so forth plus I'm tall as well. I just want to know what this means because I have never heard this before. The females inside the house kept walking back and forth through the open door even when their son came out from the restroom and we were just chilling at the front of the door. This kid would always throw things at me, say really hurtful things to me, take videos of me, and whenever I told the teacher on him or principal they didn't do much, on top of that he would call me snitch. He did this to me for 2 months straight and I would tell the principal or teacher everyday what's going on and they didn't really care. I never did anything to him either which makes me mad. I was to scared to stand up for myself and I let him walk all over me. After summer school was over he ended up having my cousin for one of his classes during the school year. He was jerk to her to but she knew how to stand up for herself unlike me. I kept this to myself at home for many months I eventually told my cousin and we talked to the principal about it. The principal talked to him and he stopped bothering me and my cousin after that. I'm happy he stopped bothering us but I'm mad he never got in trouble for anything shouldn't he be accountable for any of his actions? I'm not the same person I was 6 months ago I'm able to finally stand up for myself and I have confidence. I'm not sure if I should fight him or just let this go. I guess I want to know what others would do in my current situation. Btw I'm a junior in high school if that helps. |

One turned out to be female, and laid eggs. A baby hatched out, but the birds didn't take care of it and it died the next day. The baby bird died because my friend did nothing about it. I don't know her reasons because I heard about all this second hand and not directly from her, but I think she assumed the parents would eventually take care of it and went to bed or something, because she's a nice person that loves animals and I can't see her doing that on purpose, but I have a little nagging doubting thought in my mind wondering if I'm wrong, and I am concerned about this happening again. Her parents are very much into sports but they do not have much money to attend sporting events. I have a box seat at the local stadium and I sometimes invite her parents to watch a game with me as my guest. They really enjoy watching these games with me and are very grateful that I remained friends with them. I did not know it but my ex wife's new husband is also a big sports fan. He must have heard my ex wife's parents talking about going to games with me. He told them he thinks he should be invited to come along with them to these games and they told me about his request. I asked my ex wife's parents what they thought about that idea and they asked me not to invite him as they don't like him. Has anyone ever heard of a husband wanting to be with his wife's ex husband. THAT IS JUST WEIRD. Does sports make people do strange things? I don't think I will invite him to join us AND I don't want to intrude into my ex wife's life. And had it shipped to her home because we live 2 hours away from each other. I made sure she had it in time so she can open it for christmas day. Around the 23rd of December she decides to start christmas shopping and while we were on the phone she asked for my email and address as if she was online about to send my Sephora E Gift card. But then she said something was wrong and her card kept getting declined. So she said she will check on that later. The next day she said her card was still getting declined and sephora was having some technical difficulties. I said no problem. Meanwhile she bought her cousin a gift card from the actual sephora store. I thought to myself why didnt she just grab me a gift card to and mail it to me. That seemed strange. So on the 28th of december still no gift card . i said did you try to send it again. she said no card still getting declined. And I suggested just mailing me the gift card. She said"Ill figure it out". So here we are 31st no mention of gift card. But she constantly texts me about new years eve plans. What do you guys think? |

(10th grade) and he just thinks he owns the place. He never really approached me until a while before Christmas. I was walking to class when he attempted to slap down on my books so they'd fall and (I guess that's supposed to be funny or something) and I doged hit and I tolled him to "suck it"(big mistake). He and his friends abroached me and threatened to "beat the st!t out of me" (now keep in mind I'm 6'2" and that guy was 5'8" I think and I guess he approached me because I'm relatively quiet or something). So he and his friends stepped forward and the first thing I did was to tell him to come forward alone if he's got any balls between his legs. And being the cocky guy he is he did it. So he came forward and I didn't even do anything , I just pushed him away and he fell on his @$$. It felt kinda good to see him in pain. At first I didn't think much of it and I just left , but afterwards I found out that his bottom bone had broken. And that he has claimed that I assaulted him and he did nothing. And no one will listen to me because no one believes that he dared to ""attack"" me(also our school doesn't have any security cameras). Their going the decide what happens to me after the Hollidays . I'm scared af. How can I convince them that it wasn't me ? |

My friends Mom is 6'0" exactly and his Dad is 6'2". My friend only ended up being 5'10" and hasn't grown since he was about 16. I also noticed that his youngest sister isn't very tall either, she's maybe a little over 5'0" and is around 15-16 right now if I'm correct. I've never seen this before so what could be the cause of this? And no, they were not adopted. Not sure if having older parents has a thing to do with this, though. Since both of his parents are in their late 50's. |

When we went on our trip, I thought he was just saying that but he would not talk to me. If our other friends left the room, he would leave too. I went and apologized to him but he wouldn't listen. After I left, I haven't seen him since. I felt like he didn't mean it and was being stubborn. I thought I was over him but I miss him. I texted him Merry Christmas and he answered me. I only texted him once in these past months and he didn't reply. I heard from friends that he tells some stories about times with me. They think he misses me but won't admit it. I found out yesterday from his sister that they are all moving to another state in 3 months. It's about 4 hours from where we are now. I don't want to leave it like this. I really need advice on what to do. I want some kind of relationship with him. What can I do or say to him? I really love him and I am going to miss him. |

This caused to me to become really depressed to the point where I didn't want to leave the house. After I went to school for a couple months after, everything became too much and I stopped going. I switched over to online school, which caused me to be even more depressed. (btw I'm on Lexapro now). If anyone can give advice, I'd really appreciate it. :/ |

Sometimes I start conversations with strangers but I'm not good at making them last more than 10 or 15 seconds, I usually just ask them a question and then I panic and walk away. But does anyone even want to make friends, cause nobody has ever started a convo with me, nobody cares. I don't even understand how to make friends, whenever I talk with someone it's like there's something not right with at least one of us, we just can't connect, but it doesn't seem that way with the people I analyze. Even people more shy than me seem to make friends better, I don't get it. And don't get me started with the girls. I literally haven't talked to a girl my age since maybe 6th or 7th grade for more than 30 seconds besides like a group project. I get so lonely that I cry in the shower, I have had suicidal thoughts, I came close to gulping down my laundry detergent. Only people i see living great lives are the RICH and WEALTHY but even then i think its a facade, not all that GREAT. Life SUCKS to me. I enjoy some parts because i have friends and i enjoy my time with them but thats all i enjoy about life. |

In school, it seems like a lot of people in my grade are having fun and are have a huge social life. I don't anything fun and don't have much of a social life. I've never went out places with friends because I'm very shy, can't drive, and don't have many friends. I also used to be bullied a lot. Also it seems like everyone in my grade is ready for college and I haven't even applied for one. I feel everyone in my secretly hates me so much because I don't talk much. At home, it's not much better. My brothers are kind of arrogant and make racist and awful jokes. They say racial slurs a lot and cuss a lot. My dad likes to make racist jokes as well. My mom is always stressed and is a mess mentally. I help around the house but mostly isolate myself in my room upstairs. I wish I had a better life. |

I dont know if that makes me a bad person, i still feel guilty, but i feel better at the same time but still feel bad. Well she did ruin my life. I wont go into details but its not as simple as you say. |

Posted: 30 Dec 2017 08:11 PM PST My brothers make fun of me all the time earlier one of my brothers asked me a question he asked me why I mouth along to the music I'm listeningto through my headphones and like "dance" to it and I tell him cause I like to when I listen to music and when I told him I do it in the school bus he said please don't tell me you really do because if you do we need to have a serious talk because you have a problem where I told him I don't care if other people at school make fun of me and if they do I'm not afraid to stand up to them.But my brothers are always doing things like this and hurting my feelings and even though I tell them they continue to do it I don't understand why I tell them they do and they continue to do it and I don't know how to get them to stop I told my dad but they still do it. |
| Question: My friends from Home want to come to my college friends New Year’s Eve get together? Posted: 30 Dec 2017 07:40 PM PST My college friend who lives about 1/2 hour away said he'd host New Year's Eve for all of us friends who live nearby. I have two high school friends that always struggle to find plans and one eventually found plans. Because I didn't want to leave the other one hanging high and dry I extended the invitation to her after getting permission. The first friends plans now fell through and is asking the other for plans. My college friends going to this get together all know each other and none of them know my two back home friends. I felt like I was imposing by just asking for one friend to tag along but now both want to.....I don't want to impose on my host again even if he might be ok with it(since it'll kinda be awkward too cuz no one knows my two friends) but I also feel that if I dont ask him my other friend is gonna be left alone New Years...what do I do!!?? |

| Question: I think I’m in love with my best friend? Posted: 30 Dec 2017 06:36 PM PST This is tricky because he's actually my best friend. We didn't become friends because of a crush either one of us had, we became friends like everyone does (I say this to reinforce the fact that I didn't go into the seven year friendship because I had a crush on him.) I've realized lately that I'm actually in love with him. Once again it's not infatuation I'm confusing for love, I've been in love before and this is definitely the feeling. I know I'm in love with him, but what do I do? I don't want to lose the friendship by saying something, but it's hard to go on without letting him know how I feel. Our friends joke that we're together all the time, and we always laugh and say no but it's starting to hurt. I don't know what to do. |
| Posted: 30 Dec 2017 06:17 PM PST So I get criticized and ridiculed by almost everyone that I know for the things that I do. I have bipolar disorder and I have been trying to apply for disability and have been turned down many times before and recently got denied by a judge when I went to my disability hearing. I have doctors notes and proof that I am likely to not be able to keep a job. I never worked but I am sure that I will get fired within weeks. I will not show up for work on days that I am feeling bad. I have a fiancee in my native country vietnam who I have been set up with and I have lied to her about me having a job just to get her to agree to marry me. I am desperate and I have resulted in that because I got denied from disability. People criticize me and told me that I am a pathetic lazy bum who doesn't want to work but sit at home all day. They also criticize me for lying to her when I have to do it. I have no choice but to tell lies. My friend andy thinks that I am back stabbing my fiancee by doing this and told me that he is tired of me as he claims I backstabbed him. He gave me a camera and I gave it away because I didn't like it and he claims that is backstabbing. I don't get how that is backstabbing him. How come he claims that is backstabbing him ? How come everyone has a problem with me ? |
| Question: How to be confident in a new school? Posted: 30 Dec 2017 06:08 PM PST I have all of next week off from school and then my parents are sending me to a different high school (they failed to pay tuition at my other school so I was kicked out). How do I make friends at my new school? I've never really been a social person (I have about 20 friends but I only ever talk to like 5 of them). I'm in 10th grade by the way. |
