My boyfriend and his brother got into this really stupid argument that turned violent. His older brother literally beat the daylights out of him. He had a concussion, two black yes, a busted lip and broken arm. He lived with his mom up until this point and since this attack happened he lives with his dad and now everything is just really depressing. Well recently we have been arguing because I caught him messaging on Facebook another woman he knew intimately way before he met me. The woman is married and wanted him to be her side piece and when I confronted him about it he told me since he knew I've gone through his phone he wanted to be spiteful and keep messaging her until I said something. Well he stop messaging the woman on Facebook and she messaged him today stating that " you weren't planning on chatting with me anymore, huh?" And he asked her why did she say that and she replied that "I'm asking. Because I haven't heard from you". And he told her he was trying to lay low for a little bit. Our relationship changed from 3 years of perfection to a semester from hell. She had broken up with me, but was still in contact and seeing me and celebrating our anniversary and all that confusing stuff...I made the move to cut her out of my life for 2 months. During those 2 months I did a lot of personal investment, and decided to reach out to her while home for break. My friend is home atm from the ARMY (and she adores him), so I asked if she cared to meet 1 on 1 with me, catch up, and then the following day see my friend. She was very very open to this idea, we met at our favorite coffee shop and talked for hours. She brought up our relationship a lot (which I wasnt expecting to talk about), and she seemed open to taking things slow and exploring a future together. The following day we spent time with my friend from the service and it was just like old times. I drove her home by myself and when I dropped her off she got emotional, worried that my family now hates her, and was very bothered by my mothers opinion of her. I told her lets take it day by day, and Ill deal with my family once we have more information about what is going on between us. Since dropping her off thursday night, we have gone back to silence (which is expected when taking things slow). She left for vacation today, is busy, and I figured it would be a lot to just start talking 24/7 after our break. Just when I though all was going well, this morning she tweeted " I very aggressively want all girls to get out of unhealthy relationships with manipulative boys who make you think what theyre doing is totally normal and okay when its not"...I thought we were back on the same page, we had long conversations in person where I could see how genuine she was..Why is she now tweeting these things? is it a test to see if ill freak out? is it normal for girls to be conflicted?? |

Posted: 30 Dec 2017 06:23 PM PST I am in a situation that this older girl seeked me out and we have a connection it developed immediately and I think she fell in love with me real quick (you be the judge) and I fell for her. She seemed obsessed with me and always wanted to be the first one to respond to me no matter who I was talking to and talked about me. She told people stuff I do and It was almost like I was her world. She seemed to want something serious but I wasn't in a position to do anything for a number of reasons so I would be evasive to not allow anything to escalate we only had a 40 minute period and that was enough. She wanted a bunch of pictures with me and would call me across the room. Well she goes to a higher education and I see her around and one night I run into her we had intense, prolonged eye contact but I wasn't in a position to do anything so I eventually look away to not allow anything to escalate and after that things are awkward. Once we locked eyes she didn't stop staring until I left and I felt her watch me leave. I don't see much of her around town and have opportunities to communicate in any way. I want to talk to her I know theres a connection and we have something that is rare to find and I think she's a potential life partner as a friend or a lover. It took years to develop I realized it isn't superficial but it snowballed and it got too intense and now its so tense running into her theres so much tension you can cut it with a knife and it would bounce back. |

He was a bit cold to my approaches at first but overtime warmed up. He saw untapped potential in me and has an obsession with having more women obtain STEM degrees and kinda just took me under his wing as a student. I was a freshman and he's a senior. Now that I'm a sophomore and he's finishing up his 5th year, I have a bit of a dreadful feeling knowing that he's gonna be gone in a few short months. He'd help me with my coding projects, guide me through networking hw, and went out of his way to teach me python. He's mostly stoic but has his sweet moments that just makes me like him more. It was a bit painful when he described our relationship as teacher-student because I spent the whole year and a half describing it as older brother-younger sister. I'm an only child. I thought he went out of his way to build me up to be some Tech prodigy because of some brotherly love or something, and he kinda described it such but without the sentimentality. Stoic is the right word I guess, he hardly expresses himself but gets extremely defensive when someone is making me uncomfortable. I just assumed that was his way of expressing a close friendship? Anyway, I started thinking about him a lot and have been using him as a standard when men approach me and my chest feels heavy every time I think about him leaving after graduation. Idk how to express it to him and I'm not sure if he even see me as anything else. I'm confident and have been giving some hints, like complimenting his haircut or remind him how cute his occasional smiles are. But he's mostly brushing it off and not make much out of it. I mean, I even mentioned how there are a few apartments in my area that has commute if he wants to work in the tech area of our state but it sounded kinda creepy and it may made him more stoic towards my hints. For some reason I lost feelings earlier in the year, and I ended up cheating on her with another girl which I realize I was wrong for doing that. She also admitted doing things as well. Over the course of the past few months we tried to really stay with each other and we did fun things and tried. Recently she said for me to move on and she is done. I gave her her space and contacted her recently after a month of not talking. She said she wanted to get together soon, but then the next day she admitted she has found someone else, and it is a girl. Keep in mind my ex is 18 and I'm 21 going to be 22. I realize girls at this age don't know what they want and are confused maybe. But I don't get why she is now talking to a girl. I get I ****** up. I have depression and got on meds for her also to make things better. We have a lot of memories. Is it possible that this girl is just a rebound and she is confused and can find her way back to me even though she told me to move on? I'm so lost and miss her. We have so many memories. She just seems like she is confused. She never liked girls before. I feel like I caused this. But I don't know. I just want advice. |
