Question: I don’t want to wear my engagement ring.? Posted: 29 Dec 2017 02:58 PM PST My now fiancé proposed on Christmas. Ring is beautiful. But I find it a nuisance. I often scratch my kids with the diamond trying to look after my kids. Now I learned that I have to take it off to do any cleaning (we don't own a dishwasher. I have to take it off if I want to go to the gym And it has to be maintained every 6 months by a jewler. Plus... I HATe jewelry !! It's beautiful but i don't like the feel of it on my hands. It seems more trouble than it's worth. But I don't want to offend my fiancé. Any advice? |
Question: Is this selfish to expect of your fiancé? Posted: 22 Dec 2017 11:52 AM PST You have children. Your fiancé does not. Your fiancé has their own place. You expect them to sell their place and move into your house with you and your children even though it is a lot further from where they work and they know no one in the area. However all of your friends and family are in the area including your parents and your ex. You also expect them to live at your place because its close to your children's school. Is this selfish? |
