Question: How to have fun at a wedding being an introverted who doesn't get along with family? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 05:53 PM PST I'm a guest at a close relative wedding. Thing is I'm an introverted who has been living a very isolated (no complaints mind you)life for many years, I have no experience with weddings and parties. I don't like dancing and actually suck when I try. The worst part is that I'm invited just for being a very close relative, my parents will be there too, but I don't get along with anybody else since my nuclear family was always isolated from the rest of the bigger family and when we interacted, it wasn't good, there are too many long dated resentments. I was at two other relatives weddings prior and had a dreadful time, I completely avoided the dance floor and even small chat with my older relatives were a drag. I naviagted through the ceremony and dinner because everyone was sitting but the moment the dancing started i didn't know what to do, must of the people left to dance and even my parents standed up to chat around, in a moment I was in my sit completely alone in the big dinner saloon and I felt like a failure, situations like that drove me to never try again but I cannot avoid this wedding. I cannot drop out since I already confirmed my presence and it would make my mum happy, but I don't want to have a bad time particularly because I think it's rude to the grooms. Sorry for the long post. Please, help. thanks! |

Posted: 10 Dec 2017 08:01 PM PST (Asking for my male friend, who desperately needs advice! I know this sounds like a romantic comedy plot line, but I assure you...its real life and he really needs help!)) I have been with my fiancee (woman,22) for the last 3 years, we are getting married in March! My best friend of 7 years (male, 23) recently revealed on a drunken escapade to my future wife that he has been in love with me for our entire friendship. I am not gay, so I cannot reciprocate these feelings and also...I love my fiancee. However, I do not wish to lose my relationship with my friend, but my fiancee is very uncomfortable with this whole situation. This is creating a terrible gap in my relationship with my fiancee, and with my best friend, and I am just completely stuck in the middle of it all. Any advice is welcome, please help! |
Question: Is there a game out there for soon to be married couples to get to know each other? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 11:26 PM PST So I'm wondering if there is a game (card game maybe) with guestions that an engaged couple can play before they get married. Questions that can range from what is your favorite color to who was your first kiss/sexual incounter, sadest moment, worst fear and everything enbetween. I have a few friends that are getting married I think a game like that would be fun for them. And not going to lie I think it would be for me to play as well. Ok so i guess i have to be more specific for the people giving the crap answer "conversations". I am looking for a game that my soon to be married friends can play to better get to know each other. They like games hence why i want to get them a game like this. Questions do not need to be marriage specific. There can be questions what is your most terrifying moment or do you think you would win in a fight with a full grown adult or a fight with 5 ninja babies. Actually be helpful if you comment. |
Question: How do i tell my fiance' that I found out he's cheating on me? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 06:08 PM PST So he text me that he was leaving our place and when i get home and log into my computer he had this chat screen up and pretty much said some harsh things about me... like. "I will lie and tell him (me) that you are a lesbian and ill have him meet you so he can trust you to come over" another one said, he was waiting for me to leave and even had the times i would get off from work. so now I'm really confused because he had someone here that i don't even know. What do i do? How do i confront him about this? |
Posted: 09 Dec 2017 05:34 PM PST My fiance and I are strong Christians and believe in waiting until marriage for sex. We re going to get married in May. However, waiting that long is so hard. As time goes on it gets harder and harder to resist temptation. We ve had so many close calls. What can we do to make sure we control ourselves so we make sure we save ourselves for marriage? |
Question: Do you think my best friend has a thing for my fiance or am I over-reacting? Posted: 08 Dec 2017 03:41 PM PST alright so my best friend has a wife. the 4 of us were buds and we'd hang out all the time. He would say things about/to my fiance that i never really put together till now. One time while we were all drinking he joked about having a threesome with me and my fiance. We were all drunk so I let it go. My fiance told me his wife said that he says to her "why don't you do your hair up like Maxs' fiance?" He seemed nervous talking to her as well all the time. well, my fiance and his wife had a falling out a few months ago. He still says he wishes our girls could just apologize and get along so we can all hang out. He asks me about my fiance all the time, he's paranoid that she hates him or dislikes him. Also said yesterday that he wants to become friends with her again so he can make fun of her last name. (it's hard to pronounce.) Kind of weird. He also recently started cheating on his wife and made me swear i'd never tell my fiance. what do i do or am i looking to much into this? |
