Question: How do I get a divorce with my man in prison? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 07:41 PM PST I got married on July 12, 2017. We live in Virginia but, he's currently in a state prison (since May 2016). Long story short I've decided I'm done dealing with certain things coming from my "husband" ...so what is the cheapest route for a divorce? I know it's only been 5 months. But what way can I get paperwork started and sent to him the fastest? I've been googling my butt off but it's so confusing all these different terms. I know it's cheaper for the inmate to do it but he won't take me seriously. I want to send something in the mail ASAP! please help if you can (I don't really want to pay for a lawyer, any other options?) |
Question: Were my husbands actions inappropriate towards a secretary that works at his job? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 07:06 PM PST so a few days ago my husband & I were at a local concert, with our young son. While there my husband ran into a young lady who works at his firm, when they first seen each other she said hey but said she was running off to the bathroom, when she got back she sat down & my husband walked up behind her & started rubbing her shoulders, made me feel extremely uncomfortable, then he like kneeled down to talk to her while she was sitting in a car, and they were having what seemed to be an extremely personal conversation. He did introduce her to me but he never introduced me as his wife. While the party was winding down I heard my husband say to her "Let's get dinner soon" & as she was leaving he said "Text me when you get home" Maybe I'm paranoid but all of these little things made me feel extremely uncomfortable & I felt like he was being inappropriate. Am I overreacting? My husband is almost 50 & this young lady is barely 25 |

Question: Will I always be forced to beg for his time? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 04:50 PM PST We've been married for 4 years. He's 36 and I am 27... and I think he's absolutely miserable. He doesn't cheat on me, he's a faithful man, but neither does he want me. He comes home from work and locates where I am in the home, then makes sure he doesn't come anywhere near that portion of the house for the rest of the evening. I try to give him some time to free his mind from the stresses of work and clear his head before I bother him... and so after an hour or two, I approach to ask if he might feel like holding me, (or anything more, if he'd like), for a while. He almost always says no and shoves his headphones on, reads or watches TV; and I go back to my little corner of the world shed a tear and wait. A few hours pass and I hear him try to sneak off to bed, hoping that by the time I come to nag him for things he doesn't want to give, he'll already be asleep. But I crawl in beside him and ask if he may have a little time to hold me now, but I already kniw he'll say his arm or his hip is bothering him and turn away from me. I put my arm around him to hold him, but he pushes it away saying that I know he can't get any sleep when someone is all over him. When he wakes, he readies himself for work and comes to kiss me goodbye, telling me that he loves me. I hold him longer than necessary and ask him to let me know when he makes it in to work so I'll know he's safe, and he always does. But when he comes home in the evenings, he still won't want me. I make him miserable. 💔 |

Question: Is my daughter depressed? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 03:11 PM PST She's 25 & came home. She said she thought it would be better if she died. Then next day, called out from work to use it as a personal day |

Question: Mother in law doesn't like me? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 12:28 PM PST I've been married with my husband for 2 years but together for 6 years. Before we got married his mom loved me & we got along well I would always go to his house & help her clean, cook and take care of his siblings. Even when we had a breakup she was there for me but the second my husband told her he wanted to get married with me she completely changed towards me. I did absolutely nothing to her. She would talk down on me to her family. She said that I thought I was all that & thought I was better than them. When in reality I'm not just because instead of having a big wedding I wanted to buy new furniture for our apartment. She even told me that her son didn't have friend because of me. When they just ask to hang out with him when they need a favor from him or want to drink.. so unessasery drama. Idk how to confront her without her taking it the wrong way. I just want to clear the air. |
Question: Why do so many people, in today's day and age, cheat on their spouses? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 12:16 PM PST With all of the surveillance, and a proven long history of it never working out anyways...married people sneaking off in secret seems like a lost cause from the start. The other woman is always crazy and its gonna cost the man big time, financial and otherwise. I know women do it too, but I work around mostly guys who do it, so that's why I ask. |
Question: My husband got my sister pregnant? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 12:12 PM PST Just found out that my husband and my sister were sleeping around and now she pregnant. He is currently in prison and keeps writing saying that he's sorry and she is saying the same thing. This transpired before he went to prison for something unrelated and before we got married June 2017. Did i mention she is 7 months pregnant with his child? Idk what to do. Im so upset with both of them. I haven't been sending letters or answering any calls from him or her. Im getting an annulment as well. I just really want both of them to hurt as bad as i am |
Posted: 11 Dec 2017 11:54 AM PST She's married and I'm married, and I don't plan on leaving my wife. She says her husband is on to her, and he takes her to work now alot and picks her up (a Fact), but we still manage to find storage rooms to kiss and play around. Her husband also calls on her breaks too trying to block us. She says husband threaten to leave her, a she goes thru alot of stress at home with husband. He's really controlling and keeps her at home alot (a Fact). But she keeps coming to me to meet. She's says she scared of getting caught so she wants to be friends. But we are already friends, and she always wants to sneak and meet me at work in storage room. She always wants to meet at work. So the other day she told me lets be friends, I said ok and I won't contact her or hook up with her anymore, and she went nuts afterwards. She texted me all that day telling me she loves me, she's sorry, can we still meet tomorrow to play. Of course I said yes, but I asked her what is she doing, she said she can't stand not being able to talk to me. When we first meet she told me all she wanted was sex, now she says she thinks sometimes all I want is sex from her . What does she mean be friends? we are already friends. Or has she gotten in trouble because she fell for me? Whats her deal? |
Question: Was it wrong of me to do this? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 11:40 AM PST I discussed my martial problems with a male friend of mine without my husband knowing. My male friend also said some negative things about my husband and I did not stick up for my husband. My male friend has never met my husband and does not know him. Was this wrong of me to do this? I have been friends with my friend for most of my life. |

Question: Should I take my wife to a football game even though I don't like football? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 07:18 AM PST I personally find it don't like it but my wife loves it, I'm thinking about buying tickets to the next game near us. Even though I'm bored by it, I would love to see the look on her face when we go to a game. *Find I don't like it Sorry |
Question: Why is it easier for women to move on than men after a breakup or divorce? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 07:05 AM PST My ex wife moved on within a few months but I'm still sad and depressed about it 3 years later. I haven't even dated since. With all my relationships it's been harder for me than her. Why is that? |
Question: How do you live in a sexless marriage at just 36 years old? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 06:37 AM PST Wife just has a bunch of excuses or finds any little stupid thing for us not to be intimate. We can go anywhere from 4 to 7 weeks without any intimacy. She's 41 and my just 36. This isn't normal!!! Now if I cheat then it's my fault but why would any woman put their husband in a position like this or drive them elsewhere? Love fades and I feel my love for wife fading as I don't think she's just interested in me anymore. |

Question: Husband won t let me hang photos of deceased father in our home. What would you do? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 12:45 AM PST My biological father left my mom before I was born and never tried contacting me because he suffered from severe alcoholism and he felt he was unfit. He committed suicide by hanging himself in Feb 2017. I m now 27 years old and have discovered my own dependency to alcohol but am now 9 months sober. My husband does not like these photos of bio dad because he correlates them to negative feelings. He put the photos up in the bedroom closet. I love bio dad and have felt a stronger connection to him now after his death than I ever did during his life on earth through addiction therapy and rehab. These photos have so much significance to me. I wish I could help my husband understand that its not bringing more addiction and negative feelings into our home. For me, these photos symbolize HEALING and HOPE and its pretty groovy that my son and I have a striking resemblance to bio dad. He doesn t understand addiction or recovery and balks at 12 steppers. |
Question: Married to an only child.? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 12:00 AM PST I am married to only an only child. My life has become a living hell, if I have a different opinion to hers, she sees that as a criticism. I have to deal with silent treatments which can last for a month sometimes. If ever say a no to anything I am in trouble. What should i do since I am unable to have a fruitful conversation with her. |
Posted: 10 Dec 2017 07:48 AM PST isn't she cheating on her husband by not saving her desires for him? |
Posted: 10 Dec 2017 07:31 AM PST I know of a couple who recently got married five months ago. They're a very young couple. The wife is 19 and the husband is 20. The wife is around 5 months pregnant now. The practice of contraception is against their religion. They are traditionalist Catholics who follow the old ways of the Catholic religion because that is what they were raised with. They go to the Latin Mass and follow the pre-Vatican II traditional ways of the Catholic Church. When I talk to other people about the newlywed couple, most people respond to me saying, "they're pregnant already? ... and they're both how old?!" It seems to me that most people believe that they shouldn't have had a baby so soon in their marriage. Why do so many people believe it's a bad idea for a newly wed couple to have a baby right away? |

Question: How do I get rid of all the what-ifs that are still haunting me 1 year after divorce? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 02:29 PM PST My wife asked for divorce and got it 1 year ago. At that time she was so determined that I couldn t convince her to change her mind. Now a year passed, I still put in my head different scenarios that if I did then that would have saved my marriage. For example what if I got her more flowers, more gifts, more time together, more time alone without our daughters, more of anything. Is it normal to be haunted like this till now? We were together for full 13 years, and married for 7 years. Other than the what-ifs, I still dream of her a lot, dreams of memories we had together, other dreams about being with her in secret while her husband is not there. |
Question: Getting over EX wife..now she's dating a new guy? Posted: 08 Dec 2017 09:47 PM PST Had just got over the split with ex wife and now she has got with a new guy.We have children together so i see her twice a week and often he is there. What makes it worse is her way of telling me about certain things they did or plan to do such as weekend at a hotel or shopping for new lingerie.Which makes me think of him with her..please help |
Posted: 08 Dec 2017 09:25 PM PST My soon to be ex hasn't told his mother that we have even split up, and it's been 8 months. Our divorce is almost final. He doesn't want a relationship with her, but she has sent him several letters in the mail to my house, obviously thinking we are still together. I have just been passing them on to him. She hates me, and would probably be delighted to hear we are getting divorced... my question is- should I sent my MIL an email telling her that her son doesn't live here anymore? Tell her about the divorce? Leave it alone? My post office will begin returning all mail with his name on it if I do a "Return To Sender" which isn't good because the finances are still being split up, including some things like utilities and the mortgage for my house. It is a complicated divorce, taking a long time to reach a settlement... I just want to stop getting letters in my mailbox from my MIL. Thanks for replies. I don't want to give MIL his new address because that seems invasive of his privacy (?). Yet, by leaving her in the dark, he's putting me in a weird position. |
Question: Gaining full custody.. would this work? Posted: 08 Dec 2017 08:21 PM PST I'm desperate to spend more time with my son. We got divorced after I cheated and he gets to spend more time with his father because of how it unfolded. My husband spanks our son when he throws tantrums or misbehaves. If I tell my son to tell the teachers at school that he's being abused by his father would I get full custody? Or would I have to say it myself? Any advice would be appreciated. |
