Question: Was i over reacting with my brother? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 03:26 PM PST We were staying at my aunts for christmas, and she let us sleep in her camper. We left today, and about 6 mins from her house, and I realize my wallet isn't in my pocket. I'm glad I checked when i did, because we live 2 hrs away. Anyway, we went back to look fo it. I found it almost emmidiatly. I had slept with my pants on, and it had fallen between the wall and bed. I told him were it was. And why it was there, and he said "yeah, there is your problem, I'm not trying to be mean, but you should have set it on the night stand" I raised my voice and told him to just stop talking, and to shut his mouth. While I agree that I should have token it out of my pocket. He always starts with "im not trying to be mean" before he's about to criticize me, and it really irritated me. First off, I'm 24 and he's 20, and he's made far more questionable choices than i have. I just keep my mouth shut or he'll get mad. We usually get a long real well but that just really gets on my nerves. |

Question: How do i deal with my boyfriend being rich? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:52 PM PST I started dating this guy a few months ago and our relationship is good but i just figured out not too long ago that he is rich....this makes me very uncomfortable because my family isn't rich but we are in the OK zone and he lives in a rich neighborhood and has expensive cars. The reason him being rich makes me uncomfortable is because I just don't want to live off of his money and I don't want him buying me things because I know that he'll go above and beyond and he asked me a question about this expensive car when we were texting and he asked if I even knew what that was and did I have to look it up , that made me highly uncomfortable and I just don't know how to deal with this, I don't know if this feeling will change , please help. |

Question: How can I get my boyfriend to go vegan? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 11:48 AM PST He doesn't really say much about it, and he's nice about me being vegan. I have talked to him about it a little, but he doesn't really say anything. He isn't really supportive of me getting him to go vegan. We live together, I've had him taste a couple of vegan dishes I made, and he's liked them too What are some other things I can do? |

Question: Boyfriend mad at me for taking care of my Mom after her heart attack? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 09:39 AM PST Long story short--my Mom had a heart attack about a week ago and almost died. It was extremely traumatic and scary because she s my best friend and I don t know what I d do without her. Luckily she had great doctors who saved her but she needs someone to help/take care of her. So I took the week off from work to help her while my Dad went back to work. After everything she s done for me, that was what I wanted to do to give back and help my family, b/c family is important to me. My bf was supportive but now he s getting crabby and trying to fight with me about it. Saying things like I ve done enough, stop, spend time with him instead. He thinks I m ridiculous for spending the week helping her. Now he s trying to fight with me about me wanting to spend Christmas with my family. This christmas is different and a very thankful Christmas so yes, given the circumstances I do want to be with her. We ve all invited him to join us many times but he s still mad. I have so much to worry about as it is with my Mom and her next surgery coming up; I don t want to deal with drama from him. I love him but I just don t know what else to say. I m sure he feels neglected but this is my Mom. I would expect him to do the same for his Mom. I feel like I m dealing with all of this on my own when I need him. He doesn t seem to understand. |

Posted: 25 Dec 2017 08:04 AM PST From my childhood my parents and my elder siblings always put me down.So I was used to be very low self esteem person. My neighbors, friends and relatives always identified me as lack of talented person.Since I'm very quiet and very innocent person, When they put me down, I took their bully type, dis respective words to my head and I kept in a silent mode and I always avoid these ugly situations by dreaming in my own mind.So i was very depressed and anxious person in social situations. |

Question: Is it bad that i a 20 year old to never go out and socialize i try to but i just fail? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 07:15 AM PST |
Question: Why am I so bad at making conversation? Posted: 24 Dec 2017 10:42 PM PST The other day I was at a party that my family hosted for some of our families friends and it was the kind of party where people just stand around and talk. Whenever I am at events like this where I have to talk to a bunch of people I just feel awkard and don't really know what to talk about. I was talking to this girl at the party and we talked for maybe 2 minutes and then she was randomly like "hey I am going to go over here and try to socialize with some other people" and then just walked off and I feel like she did that because I am not good at making conversation. I have friends who I feel like I could talk to all day nonstop but whenever I try to talk to people I dont know as well I am usually just kind of awkward and don't really know what to say. Any tips on how I can get better at making conversation? |
Question: What do when invites are obligatory? Posted: 24 Dec 2017 08:00 PM PST My partner and I have been together for 5 years. On Christmas eve, my family have had this tradition of going to christmas even mass in the afternoon and having a low key family dinner with just the four of us. My partner's parents and whole extended family invite them every year. They've gone twice out of the 5 years. His parents usually get offended, even when I try to explain to them that their invites are appreciated. On top of that, my dad has sleep problems and usually goes to bed earlier, so it's usually hard for him to stay out late. My parents try to make it when they can but at this point, it feels like it's obligatory and it's making them upset, especially my mom. I always thought that invites are not obligatory, however, I feel like my partner's parents push it or don't understand that my parents have their own plans. They end up being mad, offended and I get the crap end of the stick. Also, his family thinks the more they tell me about it, the more they have to come. My parents are also introverts and they find it weird that my family likes to spend Christmas low-key. What should I do? it's also difficult because I've explained to his parents that my parents don't do this TO THEM; they're just different and it should be respected. Not everyone is a party animal nor do they want to be around a group of people all the time to make them happy. They refuse to understand that "plans" means being low-key. The only time they would understand is if my parents had another party to go. My partner is so dumb - "they're just asking, honey". Does "asking" mean obligatory? |

Question: Car accident settlement equation Q? Posted: 24 Dec 2017 05:18 PM PST I know times & formulas have changed...In general, pain and suffering is medical multiplied by 3. So, property damage(car totalled) is on top of that? Also, is the attorney fee deducted from this overall total or added on top of that total? If u have examples of your own personal settlement for a not-at-fault accident w/injuries and ambulance/hospital...please provide |

Posted: 24 Dec 2017 04:21 PM PST person, is it because that they don't like the idea that the financial support will be divided among several people / spread thin, is it because they don't like the idea that the person may have the chance of having a child with the other person, is it the idea that they will just compare themselves to the other lover and be jealous, is it the idea that the other person will leave them, or what? You can add your own ideas why people don't like to be cheated on. |
