Question: What is it like to have a mom who loves you? Or a dad? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 01:36 PM PST I'm really not asking for pity, or sympathy; I'm not complaining, or angry.. What are your best stories? Your best moments? |
Question: Should I do this for my mother in laws birthday? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 01:26 PM PST I was visiting my husband's mother and I ask her to see his baby pictures. She gave me her family picture album to look at. In it was pictures of her being crowned Miss YYY 22 years ago. Was she ever beautiful them as she is now. She had never told me about this and neither had my husband. None of her friends know about it either. It was quite an honor so I asked my husband why she never told anyone about it. He said she was embarrassed that she could not fit in the dresses she wore when she was crowned Miss YYY. She had a gorgeous figure then and now. It turns out she is only 1 dress size larger now than when she was 20. What a remarkable feat for a woman in her 40s that has had 3 children. I just hope I am that lucky when I am her age. She has a birthday soon and I would like to give her a party to celebrate her birthday and being crowned Mis YYY and invite all her friends. I think they would like to know and would be very happy for the honor she has received. However the LAST THING I want to do is cause her any embarrassment. Gals, please give me your thoughts on how or if I should proceed with this. I WILL NOT do this if she does not want me to. I will ask her permission before I do it. Would you be embarrassed for your friends to know you were crowned Miss YYY 22 years ago. THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE. |
Question: Would you still be friends with someone if your significant other slept at their house? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 01:24 PM PST Let me explain. My babys father in the past has told me he had sex with my "best friend" then later said he was joking. She has also told me he has made advances in the past. Well about 2 months ago, i kicked him out of my house. My "best friends" ex boyfriend stopped by her house unexpectedly to say hi, and when he went to knock on the door it opened and he said he saw my boyfriend pulling his pants up while my friend was on the couch as if they had just had sex. So the ex calls me out of anger telling me my babys dad is at her house having sex with her. So the next morning i go over there and at first she tries to tell me he's not there, then says she doesn't know if he is and that he might have left while she was sleeping. So eventually she lets me in her house and he was sleeping on her floor. She then tells me she didn't wanna tell me he was there cause she didn't want drama in her house and that he was only there cause hs came there begging cause he had nowhere else to go. Now how would you feel about this situation? |
Question: Marriage, domestic partnership, common law...does it really matter? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 11:06 AM PST Does the kind of legal status really matter,as long as the two involved are really happy together and commited to eachother? I mean,I know for some it might not last forever, and that's the part it differs for separation laws, but isnt that just the couple's bussiness? Or what if they never separate? What I'm talking is why some judge depth of a relationshp based on the legal status? Does it really define how strong a relationship is? Like if you decide to be common law, means you don't love the person as much,or not as commited to them, because you are not having a marriage license? Just a side note: since the answers are reffering to States,I had Canada in mind when I mentiond Common law,and US when I mentioned domestic partnership (although, this one also exist in canadian law) And as far as I know, common law,in canada and the states of us which it is recognized,is a legal marital status,so it is serious, and it is commited,so I dont think anything is odd and out of place about it.but still some judge it,like only a license can garanty the strength of a relationship🤷♀️ |

Question: What does it mean if a girl said she was thinking about hitting you? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 08:06 AM PST If she has already hit you by accident and you jokingly made a big deal out of it, she says she was thinking about hitting you, why would she want to abuse me? |

Question: Woman asked me to touch her hands? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 04:10 AM PST Asked me to "feel a lotion that she just put on" and as I touched her hand she grabbed mine and rubbed my hand and stared right into my eyes. Would you say that she was flirting? She is married btw,so I thought it was strange. |
Question: My boyfriend is going back on his promise of not to hunt? Posted: 11 Dec 2017 01:25 AM PST When we first started dating 5 yrs ago, he promised me he wouldn't hunt again. He wasn't a big hunter to begin with and only went out a few times in his whole life. I am totally against hunting! I've been a vegetarian for 30+ years and the thought of taking the life of a harmless creature is beyond disturbing to me. Now his 14 yr old son wants to go hunting so he has put out deer attractants. His kid just wants to kill something. He talks very mean about animals and condones abuse. I'm sick to my stomach over this. What would you do in my case? |
Posted: 10 Dec 2017 11:30 PM PST A- Message from a dead dead 29- I have had the same dream since I was a kid it involved me being in a room sat down surrounded by relatives who have passed. They walked around in a circle stood against the walls staring at me dead 30- I ask my grandma why she is still here since she is supposed to be dead. She just stares at me and then turns around and quickly runs into the house. (Warning: this is where it gets scary) I run into the house after her and notice that the bathroom door is closed and locked. I knock on the door and it starts to open very slowly and then I see her. She no longer looks normal. One of her eyeballs has been poked out and her chest has been caved in and is covered in blood. Her short hair is matted in blood and sticking up at weird angles. Several of her teeth are gone and some are barely hanging from the gum. B- The Holy Quran " Evidence vs Proof " And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." " [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." " ( 42 )And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. (43 )" C- Explanation Blue eyes " in reference to the state of horror and shock that dead non-Muslims feel in their graves ." Big open eyes " In reference to the state of awakening & alertness & horror & shock that haunts and accompanies dead non-Muslims in their graves ." Question: I'm I intimidating??? Would you approach me? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 09:34 PM PST I feel like I'm always making the first moves with guys https://ibb.co/cB4Ehw |
Question: Advice for a girl making the first move?? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 09:24 PM PST I going to text him but I'm worried he may not be single anymore. I'm worried he won't reply or he may not want to talk to me. We're both psychology students, no longer in the same school. |
Question: The guy I like is smart but I'm not!? Help please? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 09:03 PM PST I'm really goodlooking but I'm insecure about school. We are both studying psychology and he has the whole package. I'm a C+/ B- kinda student. When I was in highschool they said I had a learning disability and it's made me incredibly insecure. Even when I speak to others, I can't get my point across without stopping to think of my sentences. I'm bilingual raised in Canada. |
Question: Im 13 and I hate my life? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 09:02 PM PST All my friends left me, my mom left me to live with her boyfriend (bought a very small separate house for me), my moms boyfriend comes over sometimes to molest me, I have no siblings therefore nobody to talk to and I'm also slightly mentally disabled. Im going mentally insane as well. Once a day she barely brings any food which is why I'm very underweight. I don't want to call the cops. What do I do so they can not go to jail and we can just resolve things??.. Many other things are going on but yeah I hate my life ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Everyone is gonna think this is so fake lmfao |
Question: How can I stop gossiping? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 08:16 PM PST |
Question: Am I wrong for feeling this way? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 08:05 PM PST I recently shared with my coworker an idea I have about going into inner-city churches and doing consulting on a having quality ministry, and I would start in African American Churches since I grew up in one and have had training and see where a lot of work could be done to improve. So she suggested that I talk to my pastor who is a well-known Pastor to get his advice, I told her that I would. I guess she thought about our conversation and 2 days later she sent me a long text that contained a letter to my pastor on my behalf regarding my idea. When I saw her the next day I told her that I would read it and get back to her. But since our job was closed for a few days due to a fire , it slipped my mine to read it and send my feedback. Today I saw an email where she emailed my Pastor and copied me containing the letter that I did not approve. on top of that she used the word black churches which is not words that I would use with my Pastor. I appreciate her letter because she s showing her support and maybe trying to push me. But I can t help but feel a little irritated because I didn t approve it. my Pastor is very busy and if he does respond and is ready to meet now I wouldn t be ready with the materials it was just an idea I hadn t quite worked out the details yet. I don t want to hurt her feelings so I don t think I would ever talk to her about it but I am just trying to get some advice if anyone out there has mature insight on the situation. |
Question: Is my ex trying to make me jealous? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 05:58 PM PST I kind of feel like my ex is trying to make me jealous as of lately. They told me they were using dating sites and have been "looking" and "trying", but haven't found anyone worth going for yet. They told me just the other day that they had thought about "us" a lot... like the whole time we've been apart. They also made it known that they still find me attractive and have mentioned wanting to hook up with me again. They said they still have pictures of me on their phone and look at them often too. They're talking heavily about spending time with me again. They said it would make them "happy" to see me. I'm tempted to agree to it, but I have my concerns obviously. I'm not really into the idea of a relationship at the moment for various reasons. My ex is aware of this and seems supportive of it. So what would your opinion be here? Do you think my ex is just trying to seem like they're moving on/ok even when they aren't? Could they have just been hoping to make me jealous by saying they were "looking"? If they were serious about trying to find someone new, why would they be requesting to see me, asking about my views on hooking up with them again, still talking to me all the time, still buying me gifts for special occasions like my birthday, etc.? If we were to meet up again, do you think they would try to win me back despite me not really wanting a relationship right now? Situations like this don't make a lot of sense to me, so I was just looking for some input from others. I questioned why they would still be apparently caught up on me when there are clearly plenty of other eligible people to choose to pursue and they told me the reason were the same as they were when they wanted me before. How should I handle them seeming to still be stuck on me, wanting to see me, etc.? |
Question: Are these signs that he was interested in me? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 05:34 PM PST He seems really shy but he hasn't spoken to me. He moved from across the class to sit behind me. I've caught him starring at me during lecture. He tries to act cool. He takes the wrong bus (my bus) doesn't go to his house. He stares at me from outside the window. I msged him and we spoke. he asked me to hang twice but it never worked out because I was getting out of a relationship he didn't know about so he's prob pissed off at me. We haven't spoken since June. I still would like to reconnect and see where things go...is it cool to text him? Or too late? |
Question: I really need some advice, I've posted but no answers.? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 05:08 PM PST I bailed on him twice because of a total misunderstanding! He wasn't direct when asking me out the first time, just a "what are you up to today?" And I received this email after work. An EMAIL. I asked him to hang on the weekend but he asked me out on a Friday morning and I hadn't seen the email until after work. I felt terrible but I swear it was just bad communication and I know we should've texted but it didn't happen! He's a shy guy so maybe he thought I'm playing him. He never spoke to me after this. I do have his number but I'm scared he would be creeped out. It's been 8 months and I can't get him off my mind since. I want to wish him a merry Christmas and see if it will spark a conversation again? |
Posted: 10 Dec 2017 05:08 PM PST One of my bff's who's Albanian is talking to this guy who is 21 and Albanian (he's finishing college to) and my friend just turned 16. She thinks that he likes her and I mean she could very well be right but the whole thing weirds me out because of the age difference a sophomore in high school to a grown man that she thinks she will marry if things are good. What are your thoughts on this? What also bothers me too is that here this grown man is living his life doing what ever he wants and I don't know I want to see her happy I just have a un easy feeling when I think about it. Please put in some advice thank you! |
Question: Weird Real Life Scenario? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 12:13 PM PST Ok This is a Life Question. Tonight at 8pm my neighbor came to the gate at the front of my yard. It was Dark, but I put on some shoes and went out. Turns out he wanted he's coat cleaned. Now he did say at some point he's wife was away. But he was not asking for the coat to be washed just like wiped or something.(Something I though he could clearly do for himself) He knew my aunt lives with me, so I guess he wanted her to do it & asked if she was home. Now I really felt disrespected by this weird request regardless of the hour. My question is would you also be angry and upset with such a request from your neighbor, to do a task one should clearly be able to do for them-self? And what do you think of some one coming to ask such a request? |
Question: Is it unusual to be on good terms with your ex husband? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 10:11 AM PST I was with a group of women at a party and they were discussing how we are all really tied into using our computers and how expensive it was to get them fixed when something went wrong. And how it was impossible to get someone to fix the computers on Saturday and Sunday. Someone asked me how I got my computer fixed and I was a little embarrassed to tell them that when I had a computer problem, I just called my ex husband who was a computer expert and he immediately came over and solved the problem and he would not take any money for doing it. Somebody said (jokingly I think) did you pay him with sexual favors? Going along with the joke, I said "No. Asking him for 1 favor was all I could do. I could not ask him for 2. Everyone had a good laugh except the few that did not get it. Someone said "That is really an UNUSUAL relationship you have with your ex." Tell me what you think. Is it that unusual to be on good terms with your ex husband? |
Question: Mistress is trying to become more than a mistress? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 05:06 PM PST What I mean when I say she is trying to become more than a mistress is she is trying to become my girlfriend. Lately she has been asking me if we are a "thing" and if I would ever leave my wife for her. She calls my phone while my wife is home like it's no big deal, she shows up to my house when my kids are home bringing over food for us, and when I do tell her it's okay for her to come over she's hesitant to leave. She tries to take up my wife's responsibilities, I guess to prove something to me. I told her plain as day that I would not leave my wife for her but apparently she doesn't get the memo? I don't know how to feel about this. I don't want to cut things off with her but I'm a little afraid she would tell my wife so that we get divorced and she can have me all to herself. Advice? |
Question: Why do people say a man's mistress is often uglier than his wife? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 02:41 PM PST What's the logic behind this? If a man is going to cheat on his wife, why would he cheat on someone uglier than her anyway? What about a mistress who is in her 20s, thin, fit, stylish, and wrinkle-free..... she can't be uglier than the 50 year old wife carrying some extra weight in her gut. |
