Her response to it was "I don't look like that anymore." It's a weird comment that is puzzling me, she did dye her hair, but it's an odd comment to make given the post and caption. Nothing else about her is different from what I can tell. |

They asked me why, and I just said, "Because it's just so much fun there. And there's no black or white people, just Asian people." I didn't mean it in a bad way. I just meant that there will be more people who look like me (I'm Asian) than the region of the U.S. I live in. Also, I've noticed a lot of tourists(mostly just whites) going there, but still, it's usually Asian people when I look around me, especially in the small town I live in. But there are tourists or foreign businessmen from time to time of course. |

Posted: 11 Dec 2017 05:39 PM PST Idk if it's because I'm pmsing or lonely but I'm getting sick of not going out enough. I have friends, it's just that I don't have social friends. I have different branches of people to hang out with but it's always such a production to find a day that works with everyone. The biggest flaw is that everyone seems to flake out last minute. I have a group of like 10 friends and it's a lot of effort to get together. We're all introverted too so that doesn't help. Lately I've been getting sick of not hanging out enough. I'm really bad at making plans so it takes a lot of courage for me to try to make plans and such. I try to bring up hanging out (sometimes others do), then the plans usually fall flat in the group chat. It's just annoying because I feel like I don't get out enough and I'm 16. I'm trying to put more effort into my friends but now I feel like I'm the only one trying. I get it, they're tired from work and school but this is ridiculous. I mean I only get to be this young once and I feel like I'm wasting my time... It's been stressing me out a lot because I miss being able to hang out and have t not always be so complicated. How do I get better at making plans? |

Her friend I guess was being mean to her and started spreading rumors and now people are teasing her and she has nobody. What should we do? My parents called the principal and he basically said that "kids will be kids" I'm scared because she is prone to depression, she's litterally gone her whole life with this girl and now she feels lost and hopeless. She came home crying on the bus because of this girl. My parents want to pull her out of this school because it's just gotten to the point where the principal doesn't care and the kids don't care and we don't know what else to do. They got engaged two months ago and that s all she posts about. She s constantly posting everything that goes on in their life. Such as, where they re traveling to next, what her wedding will have in it, that her fiancé got a promotion at his work, literally EVERYTHING ABOUT THEIR LIVES IS ON HER INSTAGRAM. Now I m happy for her, I really am. But it s gotten so bad, that she posts 3 times a day sometimes more. Their relationship looks absolutely flawless with no problems whatsoever. Like I said I m happy for her, but come on not everyone cares to see all that every second of the day. Personally I think it s best to keep those happy things hidden. She s my best friend and I love her, but it s all she talks about is how perfect her life is, and then she makes me feel miserable when I talk about my day she says things like, "oh, I d hate for that to be me lol" like...ok??? |

Posted: 11 Dec 2017 04:42 PM PST I'm 17 and a small girl I don't exercise and don't really have any upper body strength, so imagine my surprise when I got attack walking to school 1 day(I live in a bad area) and it was a man who had to be in his 20's much bigger then I am, he tried to pin me to the wall, and I thought I was gonna die, and then all of a sudden I pushed him, he went flying into wall behind him about 10 ft, and he looked like he was hurt so I just took my bag and ran, I thought I pushed him gently, I don't understand what happened there but I tried to just forget about it, then a week later I'm in class, theres this girl who I hate and she hates me, (don't judge me buuutt...) I pictured her drowning somewhere far away from where I was so id never have to look at her face again, all of a sudden she snapped screaming "NO I CANT SWIM SOMEBODY HELP ME NO" like she lost it, when she screamed I jumped and lost focus on her and she stopped, and I was like "oh my god....was this my fault" but i was like nah no way its just a coincidence and shes a crazy *****, the other day I was on the school field doing my after school sports and I was standing below the scoreboard, and then it was like a little voice in my head said "take 2steps to the right" and I did and the support for the scoreboard gave out and missed me by a couple inches, so Idk whats going on but i was told 2 many coincidences add up to none at all, so is there some explanation for whats going on?basically I just wanna know if I'm crazy not |

We met as toddlers, and became very close friends for 10 years.. We have so many memories together, silly ones, prank calling, sneaking out, etc. We also used to play the Wii non stop, we'd go out cat hunting, etc, trampolining, just days out. When we finished middle school, we got into an argument on MSN, things were said that I can't take back. This happened 6 years ago in 2011. We havent really talked since. I don't even have her on facebook anymore. Her dad is my driving teacher, and her mum is close friends with mine. They used to meet up for coffee while me and her daughter went to the park. One time we went sledding and i crashed into a tree. Nearly 7 years later, I never really got over it. She was my best friend growing up. We were together all the time, yes we argued as kids do over silly things. but we always worked it out. I never see her anymore because shes in a different college. I had other childhood friends, but i wasn't as close with any of them.. |

A few months ago she attempted suicide, it's a miracle she made it. She's started talking to me lately but isn't a great conversationalist, that aside I've been very busy with work (I've just spent the past 10 hours helping people with their problems, on only two hours sleep) and I'm not doing great myself re. mental health. She's seemingly getting frustrated that I'm not replying, but I'm not really keen on talking to her (or anyone I don't know well), especially not as I'm stressed right now. He's 24, has three kids with two other women (both who despise him and have restraining orders against him), and he's a drug dealer. He boasts that he worked for El Chapo, constantly smokes, and is so addicted to his own product that he can't hold down a job. When I did my initial "stalk my bff's bf on facebook" he had three different accounts (two with different pics of his kids and one with satanic imagery). His "ex's" facebook said they were still married while he was dating my best friend. My best friend ditched college for this guy and then married him after he said he would help pay rent for her family's home if they got married. They've been married about 6 months and I've been very verbal about how little she knows about him and how dangerous he could be (this guy is not allowed to see his children by order of a judge! What decent man is not allowed to see his children???). My question is: what am I supposed to do now? She's unhappy. She told me she's just going through the motions. She and her husband are always together. She has no friends nearby and he "tags along" on every outing she and I have. How do I make her see how toxic he is? |

My babys father in the past has told me he had sex with my "best friend" then later said he was joking. She has also told me he has made advances in the past. Well about 2 months ago, i kicked him out of my house. My "best friends" ex boyfriend stopped by her house unexpectedly to say hi, and when he went to knock on the door it opened and he said he saw my boyfriend pulling his pants up while my friend was on the couch as if they had just had sex. So the ex calls me out of anger telling me my babys dad is at her house having sex with her. So the next morning i go over there and at first she tries to tell me he's not there, then says she doesn't know if he is and that he might have left while she was sleeping. So eventually she lets me in her house and he was sleeping on her floor. She then tells me she didn't wanna tell me he was there cause she didn't want drama in her house and that he was only there cause hs came there begging cause he had nowhere else to go. Now how would you feel about this situation? |

So my friend and I have been close since the age of 12, We're 27 now and we've always had so many things in common. I have 3 children and a fiance now and she's pregnant with her second child. I coach her on a lot of things when it comes to her kiddos now. Well I usually don't discuss the disagreements my fiance and I have to her but this weekend I did. I was crying, I didn't have anyone to talk to and she was the only person I thought I could trust with what was going on. Well she has this other older friend (34) who she works with. Been knowing this chick for a year. The chick met a guy at the casino, got pregnant and had a baby and the guy does everything for her. He's 43. So after I vented, she started bringing up her other froend and good her man treats her and I'm just like, you cannot compare a 30 year old man to a 43 year old man who was married for 15 years of his life so he knows the ins and outs of how a successful relationship should work. I told her she was wrong but at this point, I really don't want to converse with her because she does this even when we're talking about something totally random. She brongs up her other friend and their relationship. It makes me sick. She always compares, she even compares her own love life to her other friend which is so pathetic to me. I recently thought of the idea of bringing my best friend with us , i mentioned the idea to my mom and she is totally fine with it she even said that I should ask my dad because it sounds fun, my sisters are fine with it because as they said "the more the merrier", they love my best friend because she plays with them . i mentioned it to my best friend and she ended up mentioning it to her parents and they said, if she keeps up her grades she can go. but now its down to my dad. he is one tough man , whenever you ask him for something you have to have reasons and details , besides it will be fun what should i say ? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 08:15 PM PST When I get in an argument with my friend, I m always the one to apologize first- and she doesn t even respond back with an apology, she usually just accepts it and we move on. 90% of the time it s over something extremely stupid-- usually she does something super annoying, and I sternly tell her to stop (I don t even raise my voice, I just talk seriously) and then she gives me the silent treatment because of that. I ll try talking to her but she ll just not respond. I know if I don t apologize she never will (she would literally keep going with the silent treatment until the end of time) which is why I always give in. She s one of my best friends so I don t want to stop talking to her, but at the same time I feel like her behavior is bordering on abusive. Much of the time our arguments are small things that me and my other friends would resolve with one five minute conversation, and much of the time they start because of something she did. I tried retaliating with the silent treatment, sending her lengthy text messages about how I feel, searching for a compromise about how we re both in the wrong, but she ll ignore all of it until I say "I m sorry." And she ll never take the blame. And then she ll just do this again. What should I do? PS: Sorry for all the "updates," the site was glitching and wouldn't let me put this in the description box. We're also roommates so we're around each other all the time, which makes it worse. |

I don't really know why but soon after we started high school together regonized been acting really mean towards me and our other friends. She used to be really nice and caring. I would always get along with her and we would do things together. After we started high school, she started acting cold toward my friend and I. Some days she would act really nice and other day she would act all cold towards the group. This one time, she looked like she was having a bad day. During class we were doing this project and i ask her if i could borrow her glue stick. her desk was next to mine, so she could've handed me the glue but she threw it at me instead. It rolled to the other side of the classroom and she said to go get it like I'm a f#cking dog.Sometimes I feel like she want to be popular or to be recognized in high school. We're friend with this group of girls who is pretty popular and she acts really nice toward them. She would buy gifts and give it to each and everyone of them when their bday comes up, but when my birthday come up, she would give it to me three months late. She give everyone candy even though she only talk to them once and would say "that person know my name now". Due to buying lots of candy, presents, etc. and giving it out to people she barely talks to, she's wasting a lot of money and is complaining of how broke she is. We talk it out already, but she still acts like this. |

Posted: 10 Dec 2017 07:35 PM PST Whenever someone teases me for being shy I end up crying a tiny bit,I try to hold in my tears but i can't(I'm so weak)Before whenever someone annoyed me I try my best to ignore them and I dont cry.It's embarassing how people tease me in front of other people.Everybody ends up gossiping about me and laughing at me.I cry almost everynight.Due to being teased I can't make conversation anymore and whenever I try talking it's awkward,even someone mentioned it to me.I used to be way less shy but I was able to be normal and joke around with my friends being talkative but now I can't.Shyness has ruined my life....I'm trying to be confident but these bullies are blocking my way.I'm sorry if i'm beign stupid and yahoo is not the correct place to ask I bet u all think i'm complaining but i just need help actually I'm not even sure if it's serious as bullying or is it just teasing? |
| Question: Am I doing enough to help my friend? Posted: 10 Dec 2017 07:29 PM PST I recently just found out that one of my good friends is suicidal. I had a good conversation with them about it and told them I'm they're if they need me, that they can tell me anything, and then I love them so much. I'm also planning on encouraging them to go to our guidance office or ask their parents for therapy tomorrow. Is there anything else I can do for them? |

You should never tell someone to go kill themselves. See, I don't care if they have been 'though things growing up' or if they were having a bad dad or if they were angry at you. You should never tell someone to go kill themselves. Never. Another thing was don't hit your girlfriend/boyfriend. I don't care about gender or who was in the 'wrong' don't hit anyone! If you can't keep your hands to yourself you're a child. The argument was that they were being annoying and getting on the persons nerve so getting punched was okay. WHAT?! No just keep your dang hands to yourself! I got so mad that they kept saying "well still we've been through a lot and you don't know them." what kind of BS answer is that? I don't know... Am I wrong for being mad at this? Am I over reacting? Please let me know what you think. |
