My divorce was just finalized 4 days ago in the state of CA, after waiting years I can finally remarry, however I am going to remarry next week in MS (my fiance s in the military) and will not be home when my decree arrives in the mail. Is there any other way I can prove to the court when I go apply for a marriage license in MS that I am divorced without having the decree in hand? Fyi not asking for opinions on wheather I should remarry or not or if it s too soon, you can stick that opinion where the moon doesn t shine :)

I am so angry I only been on one date in my entire life. The only way I can get over this depression is to get into a relationship I would finally be happy then. I tried talking to therapists they just want me to go on medication and just empty talk. I am not suicidal and I am not going to do **** but I just see things going that way with the way things are going.

My wife and I have an 8 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. We never realised anything was wrong with our daughter, she had a lot of melt downs and she never liked playing with other children but we thought she would just outgrow it. When she started preschool her teacher recommended we take her to a child psychologist. She has been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome but the paediatrician told us she is high functioning and whilst she will have difficulties others do not she is likely to lead a normal life. My wife has not coped well she bought a lot of books about raising a child with Aspergers. She wants to quit her job and stay home to care for our daughter more and she doesn't seem to grasp we can't afford for her to not work. My wife also wants us to take her to counselling of some kind but I checked the prices and we can't afford it, now she wants us to remortgage our house. I think she has lost the plot and we shouldn't be making big decisions right now when she obviously isn't thinking clearly. She keeps crying whenever our daughter does anything abnormal and she gets annoyed at me when I tell our daughter off when before I could tell her off if she was out of line. She has started going back to church which has really irritated me. Is she reacting normally? Will she snap out of it? Do you have any advice ?

We've been married for 3 years, together for 7, we have a 16 month old son and I thought we were going to be together forever. Last week he decided that apparently I'm boring so he went and had unprotected sex with a girl he just met. Then had the gall to ask me if I would be okay with sharing him with her. When discussing money problems, he hit the bed and said to me, "I will break your freaking phone and laptop if I have to. I will get a gun and shoot them." When I asked him later why he said those things, he said that he was just frustrated and that he wouldn't do them. Another time he bent a pen out of frustration. He's a really sweet guy, he's probably the best guy I've ever been involved with. He cares about what I have to say and he doesn't pressure me into things I don't want to do. But he has a side to him that's dark and mellow. When we're sleeping he covers himself with a ton of blankets even his face. And sometimes I can see bags under his eyes and he's too young because he's only 18. Neither of us have had the easiest lives it took months for us to even become friends just because he's the more quiet and reserved guy but he's opened up to me about how he used to be overweight and because he's bi racial he experienced racism from extended family but his only immediate family are his parents and he doesn't have the best relationship with his dad. He doesn't believe in himself he always asks for my opinion and he's so much better than that. He's incredibly smart and handsome but sometimes he just beats himself down. But he can also be a sweet guy. He's cooked for me, written letters for me he's cute. But I don't know what to do. I care about him he doesn't deserve to feel this way

My company does its holiday party in style. We have offices in Portland, Oregon, the SF Bay Area, and Denver. We have 1 holiday party for all 3 offices, and we rotate the location each year. This year, it's in Portland, which is where we live. My wife and I had a baby in April. Normally my wife comes to these, but this time she's not, even though it's local. My wife doesn't want to hire a babysitter, and her parents are out of town. My wife wants me to drive to the party (10 miles away), and come back right after dinner. Our holiday parties entail free food, and free drinks. Everyone gets drunk and has a great time, even senior management and the president of the firm. It would be kind of a waste if I left early. The Uber ride will be covered too. I asked my wife "What about next year, when we will be gone the full weekend when it's in Denver?" She said "Uhhhh, we ain't going to a holiday party in another city. You have responsibilities now." I said "Uhhh, others in the company have kids too. They still come. It's a free weekend getaway, it's stupid to turn it down." How can I get my wife to stop being such a grouch?

Why don't I want to have sex with my husband? I am 22 and married at 20. He is the first person I ever slept with. I used to have a large sex drive and was in love with one guy for years but when things didn't work out I was really depressed and lost my urge for sex altogether. I married 2 years after that breakup to my now husband out of fear I would never find someone. I do love my husband for the person he is, I just never really have had a longing to sleep with him and do so to satisfy him. He is extremely caring, great looking and a wonderful guy. I just try to avoid sex whenever i can. I pretty much think I got over my first love, I think about him no and then, I assume the situation was quite a traumatic situation and I never regained my lust back and that scares me.

I love my wife she is my best friend. But we're both 24 and she's still in college. We've been married for 2 years and things are amazing. The problem is that is it weird that she's my only friend. She has friends too but should I get guy friends? It's hard for me to make guy friends and I sometimes tag along with my wife and her friends. Only if I am invited of course. I hate hanging out with her friends because I don't fit in. After a long day at work the only thing I look forward to is going home and hanging out with my wife. When I was a kid I was a loner in highschool but this cute girl or should I say my now beautiful wife was my only friend back then. She's the only that can communicate through and she's the only person I trust. Today a couple hours ago my husband and I had gotten into an argument because he started disrespecting me in front of his sister and saying mean things to me , I had told him if he really meant those things about me to give me the phone I PAID for because I was leaving his house , he got really angry and started cussing at me and dropped all the make up off my counter and broke most of my candles , I got really angry and pushesd him away from me , I wanted him to pick up all my things before he left and he got mad and kneed me in the face he busted my lip completely and stormed out the house , I don't know what to do this isn't the first time he's hit me he had punched me in the nose last year and pull ed my hair but we started going to church and he had changed and became a new person completely and it wasn't till today where he laid his hands on me again I keep giving him chances , I have no where to go , I don't want to show up to work or my moms house because she will get the cops involved and I just don't want the cops involved ... I'm so upset I'm home alone he hasn't returned and I have no idea where he could be at , I don't want mean comments just advice I already feel like a piece of crap for staying this long ..
