Weddings: Question: Guest complained about her bf, a groomsman, going out for the bachelor party, now I hear shes attending the reception but not the wedding.? |
Posted: 12 Dec 2017 11:38 AM PST She was upset that he might flirt with other girls or that other girls would flirt with him. The group of guys my fiance hang out with are really great guys. There were no strippers, they did what any girl would do for a girls night. They had man time, drank beer and did shots. This week, she (along with many others) has not RSVPd yet, we are 3 weeks out, and I hear she will not be attending the wedding, but she will be attending the reception. She has not called, texted, or contacted me through other social media to explain or apologize, nor has she contacted my fiance. She only told her boyfriend to tell my fiance. Her reason for missing my 2:30 PM Saturday wedding (which will be a Catholic mass) is because she has a family thing. Yet, she can attend the reception to follow. I think she does not want to sit without him at the mass and/or she does not want to watch him walk down the aisle with one of my bridesmaids. I don't know if she realizes he'll be sitting at the head table with us and she will be at another table with the other two girlfriends of the groomsmen - whom she knows. Should I let this go, or is there a graceful way to handle this? |
Question: I screwed up big, I lied to my fiancé about money. What should I do now? Posted: 12 Dec 2017 10:05 AM PST So our brand new fridge went out. I squabbled for hours about it and the manufacturer agreed to refund us for the cost of the unit. In the meantime, my 16 yr old son whine was living with his father made bad choices and went to jail. I wanted to hire an attorney to get him out. Fiancé said no, be needs to sit in there and learn a lesson. (I know this would not be the case I'd it was his son) Within the same couple of days, the fridge money came. I took all $2500 and got my kid out of jail and hired and attorney. That was two months ago. Fiancé calls manufacture, they send him a copy of the check I obviously cashed and said I never got. I'm at work. He's at home. I know he knows. I feel awful I lied. What do I do? I would love to go just stick my head in the sand. |
