Posted: 17 Dec 2017 01:58 PM PST I'm going to try to keep it a secret from her but she usually finds out even driving past his house to see if my cars there. She hates him with a burning passion and your hatred of him is stronger than any love for me. I have a fear that she has the power to stop me from seeing him like when I was a kid even though I'm 29 I know she does not have that. |
Question: How do I get my mom to stop criticizing her daughter-in-law and her niece constantly? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 01:57 PM PST She even does not want her son to visit at Christmas because she does not want to deal with his wife. Her niece she's just joining the clan and picking on because the niece has emotional disabilities. |
Question: Do my parents expect too much from me? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 01:46 PM PST I m 18 years old and as long as I can remember I ve been taking care of my sick parents. But when I turned 17 I became disabled myself and they act like I should still do the same if not more work around the house when I just cry in pain. And my mom just goes around yelling about how much she did when she did less than half an hour s worth of work. I m working towards moving out but it pisses me off that I m this lazy bad guy bc I m too sick to take care of my house hold. Also my parents refuse to do anything for themselves and j just have to wait on them. Why should I make you all of your food and get you everything you drink in a day. They wake me up to cook for them. |
Posted: 17 Dec 2017 12:21 PM PST I was no cheap meal and my husband was appalled because he only asked his brother and his wife along. We were surprised when they invited their 2 grandkids and their daughter too. It was a very expensive steak house, and the kids ate steak. When the bill came they didn't offer to pay a tip. We haven't been out with them in over 4yrs over this. He goes out with his brother for breakfast when he goes to visit their mother, and he always gets stiffed with the bill. They are not broke or poor. They are scammers who know how to get a free meal. How would you handle this ? |
Question: Should my mother even joke about something like this/? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 12:08 PM PST My mom had to go to a business meeting out of state. She tried to get reservations at a hotel and the hotels were all full because a convention was in town. My ex husband Sam lives in the town and mom always liked Sam when we were married. In what I thought was a bold move, mom called Sam and ask him if she could stay with him for one night. He readily agreed. He met her at the airport, took her to his condo and then to a nice restaurant for dinner. He then took her to her meeting the next morning. When she got home she told me all this and how nice Sam was too her. I asked her if there was anything else I should know about her visit with Sam. She said jokingly (I think) you will have to wait 9 months to find out. OH MY GOD. That is the KINKIEST THING EVER. Should a mother even jokingly tell her daughter something like that? |
Posted: 17 Dec 2017 11:56 AM PST I got this girls number...idk what to do. I don't want to be annoying and I only got it cause I had her call me for something. |
Question: Is it a mom thing to constantly interrupt or cut off their daughter/son when they speak? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 11:50 AM PST I feel like almost every time she asks me a question she cuts me off when I go to answer. Driving me nuts. Or I ask a question and she cuts me off with something unrelated but related to whatever she's doing. Is this a mom thing or an as*hole thing? |

Question: Is it right for me to be offended by "Your English is really good"? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 11:39 AM PST I moved to the U.S. at 6 years old, and I'm now 14. My cousin(12-year-old) was born and raised in the U.S. They visited my house and asked if my parents have always lived in that city. Then I told them that I was born in the U.S. They said, "Wow. But your English is really good. You don't have an accent." Our family is from East Asia, but my cousin was born and raised in the U.S., like I said. Should I be offended by what they said? *I told them I WASN'T BORN IN THE U.S. Sorry, I wrote that wrong. MY MISTAKE. |
Question: Please Help, My Mom cares more about her husband and chooses him over everyone.? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 11:37 AM PST y mom already threw my out last year she dropped me at my brothers saying shed pick me up the next day and never did. Eventually she took me back in. The issue is the guy my mom is with and my whole family minus her sees it. This guy drinks from morning until night and instead of making any form of sacrifice for my mom he made her become adjusted to his life style. My mom even sent my nephew who we raised for 7 years back to his mother for this guy she even has given up her possessions for him. This guy drinks from morning until night. He thinks he does is everything and in reality does nothing. He and my mom both do drugs they take diazepam. This guy doesn't stop drinking even when he takes diazepam. He has a business that my mom basically runs. When we deliver our product he constantly has an excuse for not helping carrying things in he will say he has a bad back or his backs locking up. He constantly has to draw attention to himself if my mom even comes to another room to talk to me he bitches. He bitches when our family calls his home phone which he calls the buisness line. My mom and I both work this guy sits home and drinks. I can't take it anymore. He is always making sexual remarks to women including me in front of my mom. I tried to tell her before it makes me uncomfortable and she didn't listen she says oh it's just his personality he is that way with everyone. She will cater to and wait on this guy including w hen he is too drunk to eat feeding him like a baby. He is very controlling to my mom he makes her have very limited contact with her family. She isn't allowed to call my brothers while he is standing right there or my aunts or he makes comments in the background. My mom knows in her heart I don't like this guy and she says she knows nothing is going on between him and I but if I ever even try to be civil with him and have a normal conversation with him she gets all angry at me. She told me one time she thought I acted weird around him when I confronted her ad asked how she didn't say anything she kept saying I didn't mean it I was in a bad mood. I am a very hurt person, as a child my father sexually assaulted me and in the past year I've lost my nephews and both my brothers through me out as well as my mom before she took me back in. I have this nagging fear that my mom will throw me out again at some point cause of this guy. I feel very uncomfortable around him and when my mom is at works he comes to whatever room I am in and tried to talk with me and stuff but I don't even know what to say to this guy. I want him to stop making sexual remarks to me, I want to say so many things to him but I worry cause this is his home that id be thrown out again. My mom swears I won't be thrown out again but I don't trust her. When they're drunk or high they could easily be Angrerd and throw me out. I can't take much more sometimes I seriously consider killing myself. I don't make enough money to afford my own place and I have no family or way out. What can I do to make this situation better? |

Question: My parents favors my brother over me. THIS IS UNFAIR.? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 10:52 AM PST i'm 17. I have anxiety and suffer from depression and have extreme social anxiety. My brother is 21, when he was 16 he used to have 3000 $ boat, a jet ski, my parents would allow him to travel with his friends, my parents would give him a monthly budget of 500$, he had an atv, he had a laptop, he had the best clothing out there, the best brands, the best watches like tag heuer, and the best shoes you can ever find. I am 17, My parents literally dont allow me to do anything he used to do when he was younger than me! I have better grades, However my parents give me a 250$ Budget monthly, i wear the worst clothes ( literally wearing the same jeans everyday for a week ) and i have my ******* 20$ shoe where im wearing it everyday for almost a year. This makes my friends make fun of me and i am extremley depressed about this situation because it is unfair. I was actually more mature than him. Why is this happening and how can i talk to my parents about this situation? ( My parents literally wont allow me to have a tv in my room ) and yeah ill tell you why, because they say "Your brother didnt have a tv in his room when he was your age" i mean come on. All of these ******* things he had and you wont allow me to have a single thing he had, HE WAS EVEN YOUNGER THAN ME. |
Question: Is it right to take money from A child? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 10:26 AM PST My sister has my brothers daughter and her grandma sent her some money $100 exactly on yesterday. My sister took her to the mall and gave her $40 out of her money and didn't let her spend none of it and said she can't have the money until her grades comes up. I think it's wrong and if her grades were an issue they were an issue before yesterday. Her grandma had nothing to do with her grades and those funds shouldn't have been used as discipline. |
Question: I accidentally gave my little brother a foot fetish? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 10:22 AM PST I was a dumb kid. I was 11, he was 6, and one day I held him down with my foot on his face, making him smell all that sweat built up from a long school day.He seemed to hate it. But now I'm 17 and he's 12, and I recently discovered that he sneaks into my dirty clothes hamper, takes my dirty socks, and sniffs them while I'm in the bathroom. He denies doing it but I've seen it happen. Is this my fault? |
Question: Should I be expected to do chores while doing college and working? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 10:10 AM PST My mom is a stay at home mom. She cleans and cooks sometimes. My dad works from home and never really does any house work. My sibling is a bit young for chores. My other sibling is of college age but is only working (my parents won't pay a dime for either of us to go to college.) I am 22 about to go into a nursing program next year due to my working massive hours since the age of 17. Recently I was finally able to get financial aid (loans with interest.) everything is tough but coming together. I live at home because all my money goes toward my car payment, insurance, phone, College, and occasional grocery expenses. My parents have recently begun to snap at me that I never do any housework or rarely do. My shifts are 12 hours each , my homework takes hours, and I need straight A's to ensure I get into the nursing program. Chores have became a huge topic of fights recently as my parents think I should "wake up earlier in order to do the dishwasher, my room, and the bathroom" all before or after my school and or 12 hour shift. Any advice? I don't have enough money to move out rent is at least $1000 where I live. From, Hard working big dreamer |
Question: Little brother problem? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 09:54 AM PST He's 11, but acts like a 5 year old. He's lazy, spoiled, careless and in my opinion is my family's fault because they let him do whatever he wants and I haven't seen them punish him at all. My dad is the only one who is like me, believes that kids need to be taught some discipline. Apart from that, my brother's friends are worst than I could have ever imagined. They send him songs and movies that are inappropriate, introduced him to VINE ( which is way worst), one of the curses in front of him (he's his age btw). This all started when my family gave him a phone and a tablet. All of this pisses me off because my family does nothing about it and he just gets worst. He doesn't listens to me AT ALL, perhaps it's because I don't treat him like his royal highness. In my family's eyes (except my dad), I got a problem and I'm careless because he doesn't listens to me. I don't know what to do and it's driving me insane. A reminder that he does not listens to anything I tell him. He is 11 and is supposed to act like one, yet he acts like he is 5. And I know I have anger issues. |
Posted: 17 Dec 2017 09:40 AM PST so my family have invited someone who ive had bad history with and i got away from the person because of all the negativity. but now they keep drawing the person back to me telling me to speak to them and asks how they are doing but i dont want to. They told me i was a mean and mental person. All i want to do is get away from the person because this person has caused me depression and made me feel bad about myself. |
Question: Question About Autism? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 09:07 AM PST So lately my brother Joshua has been screaming & stomping his feet then shuts the TV off in the living room every weekend. It's strange because nobody bothers him, he has the television to himself then after 30 minutes into whatever the show is he walks around back & forth, stomps his feet hard & then he'll scream & shut the TV off then just sit there in the dark & continue to scream. He's never done this in the past it just recently started a couple of weeks ago. As I said nobody bothers him & there's nothing on the television to piss him off that I know of he mainly watches Nick Jr, regular Nickolodeon, Freeform TV & Cartoon Network. He's 17 turning 18 so I'm unsure if this is just some kind of phase he's going through. His special education teachers say he's done this in class & they couldn't find out how to stop him from behaving this way & neither could my family & I. Any advice or possible explanation to why he does this? |
Question: Suicidal, can't take feeling like this anymore? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 08:45 AM PST i'm 19 and I have anxiety and borderline personality disorder. I know that there are people who have to endure so much more than me, but everyone handles and feels things differently. I had my first suicidal thought at the age of 8, i went through some abuse and neglect, but not extreme where i'd have to call the cops about it. I do not trust my family and i avoid them, and when i do try to talk to them they do not understand me and make me feel like there is something wrong with me. I do not trust people easily, the first person i ever trusted who made life plans with me changed towards me randomly and became a stranger and broke my heart, so i was especially suicidal after that, and someone came along and helped me through that time and i helped him through his hard times, i was scared to trust again because i didnt want to ever feel my happiness getting taken away again or to get my hopes up and then to be disappointed. And it happened again, and i feel like my life is an endless cycle of pain. I'm not a victim, i know i'm not a perfect angel who everyone hurts for no reason, but i definitely do not deserve to feel like this or to cry everyday. I've been to the hospital for being a danger to myself only once, and i've called the suicide hotline once, they didnt help at all. I can't even go to the one person i trust because they said they are tired and annoyed of me crying and that i'm a ****, i was crying about because something they said too. Nothing makes sense anymore |

Question: Are horrible future in-laws worth it? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 08:36 AM PST I am getting married to my fiancé in a few months. He has a close family and I got along with them well at first. However, about 8 months into our relationship my fiancé told me that he was raped by his brother when he was younger. He had repressed it for 10 years. I was the first person he told. All kinds of feelings about what had happened to him surfaced. We talked to a professional and grieved. After a year of silently going through this, my fiancé told his family and cut off communication with his brother. Instead of giving my fiancé support, they took his brother s side. I understand that for his parents that news would be hard to hear and that they would still want a relationship with both of them, but they didn t ever reach out a hand for my fiancé. They seem to be most angry at me. I think they think that because all of this came out while I was in the picture that I made my fiancé stop talking to his brother. They don t understand that my fiancé has been dealing with these feelings of being raped for the first time because he had repressed what happened. Now when we get together with his family, they roll their eyes at everything I say, they talk down to me, they exclude me from any get together. His mom even called me to tell me she is disappointed in my wedding. I love my fiancé but his family has become too much for me to handle. My fiancé is very annoyed with them but he is the type of person that doesn t like drama, I don t either. Any advice? |

Question: I’m 15 and need to grow up? Get out? Faster? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 06:55 AM PST I'm a 15 year old girl, and I like to think I'm pretty mature for my age. I do what is asked of me, I'm polite I'm quiet, but can also stand up for myself. Most of my friends are 16-23 years old and I enjoy my life in those aspects. My problem is at home. My mom trusts me and always wants to help me suceed but my father is the opposite to be honest I'm at a loss of what he is thinking. When he is home it is total hell for me - he forces me to be in a religion I don't believe in. This is not a problem I can suck it up and do what is asked of me. It still upsets me tho - Where I live a 14+ teen can work at practically any fast food joint and I've asked if it would be ok for me to apply for a job. He has refused since he says I will apply for emancipation or move out when I am 18. - you can get your license when you are 14+ as well and I've asked my mom to help me learn to drive staring I just want to know how for the future. I wouldn't need a car or anything just to learn. My mom took me driving one day and my dad screamed at us saying that it's stupid for someone like me to learn how to drive. - he has done so much more I won't go to detail in.. mainly emotionally abusing my mother sister and I.... which isn't really illegal where I'm from so it would do no use... I just want to be sufficient so when the day comes I can move on with my life and be happier. Anyone have any tips? |
Question: My estranged sister’s niece trying to contact me? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 06:54 AM PST Her mom told me not to contact me and wrote me off as her sister and also said some pretty nasty things as well. How should I handle this as I'm certainly not ready to connect. |
Question: My mother is getting married again? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 06:41 AM PST She's almost 60. Everyone thinks it's weird. And the guy she's marrying is even older. He's probably 70. 2 steps away from the grave. She's humiliating herself and us with her. What can I do to stop this? |
Question: How do I know if a family member finds me intrusive or not? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 06:27 AM PST My Mom was bitter towards her family so I always missed out on family time. As a young adult I was free of my Mom and started reaching out. I tried too hard sometimes and was invasive. Now I am in my 30's and no longer imposing I think, but I still worry I might. How do I know if a family member finds me invasive? |
Question: What are your thoughts? I would highly appreciate everyone’s thoughts.? Posted: 17 Dec 2017 04:26 AM PST My mother's 16 years younger than my father. My father hasn't worked for nearly 5 years, and my mother's the one providing for him, and my 4 siblings. The worst part is this man's very abusive, and has hurt me in many ways. He also has another woman besides my mother, and they have 2 kids. He goes to see her, and their children for two weeks every month, and comes back to my mother. Why would a woman tolerate all this? I'm traumatized. I would really appreciate your thoughts. |
Posted: 17 Dec 2017 02:14 AM PST Okay so, my bedroom is right next to my mom and dad's room and I always hear when they have sex. It's disgusting but I gotta deal with it. Anyways, I notice my dad only initiates anything when my moms drunk. And usually I hear her saying yelling no repeatedly. Is this okay? The whole situation feels uncomfortable. But they have a happy marriage, so I'm thinking maybe this isn't a problem. |
Posted: 16 Dec 2017 10:29 PM PST Me and my sister share a room and she was looking at me suspiciously when I came back after taking a shower and she stole candy from me before and lied about it so I know she would steal $20 from me. She kept leaving the room so if she did take it she s probably trying to hide it. I also think my brother stole it also because he sometimes goes through my drawer without permission. He asks for lotion sometimes and my lotion bottle was open and he smelled like weed today so he probably stole my money and bought weed with it. |
Question: Desperate situation? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 10:28 PM PST So this is my situation, i m in college living with my mother, i m 20 and just started my first year. My sister has moved away from her hasband bringing four kids into our three bedroom apartment. The house is now a pig sty, food is everywhere, the kids destroy everything. Posted: 16 Dec 2017 09:50 PM PST So basically me and my grandma went to a resturaunt called Popeyes and the waitor came so I ordered by food and then I asked if they had pizza because I was bored of chicken and the waitor came over to me and slapped my face!! Question: I want my mom to stop treating me like a little kid? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 09:30 PM PST my mom has been constantly grasping onto me, clinging me to her side. she still thinks i'm her little princess , but i'm 13 now and i'm tired of it. she gets upset over little things, like me dropping an ice pack on her (it was an accident) and she can't accept that. she likes to relate to real housewives the show she watches, like she'll just start an agruement just to be related to "oh yea, teenagers are so sassy" or something like that. i honestly don't know what to do with my family at this point. when i turn 18 i just want to run away tbh. |
Question: My classmates are mean to my twin sister? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 09:05 PM PST me and my twin sister are in the same pre calc class. my friends are so nice to me, but theyre all mean to my sister. i get that my sister is a bit introverted, but she is the sweetest perosn u will ever come across once she actaully starts talking. shes just very shy. they always talk bad about her right infront of me and ask questions like "how is she even your sister, let alone twin?" It really hurts when they say things like tht. today she asked for a pencil and one of my friends said "ew no get ur own". I tell them to leave her alone but they always laugh and think im joking and continue to bully her. my sister is not a very vocal person, so she just takes it from them. and when she finally gets the courage to strike up a conversation with one of them they tell her to shut up. they says things like "no one asked". it really bothers me to see my sister treated this way |

Question: My dad is an alcoholic and owns a gun. Advice? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 08:43 PM PST Whenever my dad drinks I'm always worried that he's going to shoot himself or someone in my family. My little sister gets really upset when he drinks and cries. Sometimes I'm worried that he'll feel so bad about himself that he might shoot himself. Then other times he gets into fights with my mom and I'm worried he'll shoot her. He legally has the gun, but I don't think he is mentally stable enough to own one. What should I do? |
Question: Angry at my mother for no reason? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 08:18 PM PST For some odd reason lately I've been very angry with my mom. There's no reason to be mad but I am. Just talking to her or being in the same room as her irritates me. Why is this? What can I do about it? Maybe it's just a teen thing? |
Question: Mother will not let me celebrate my own holidays and start new traditions.? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 07:46 PM PST In June I had a baby and a few months later I got married in August. Thanksgivng was a huge ordeal because I made a point to tell my mom that I wanted to stay at home with my daughter and husband and have it just the three of us since we are a new family. My mom usually goes to my brothers house to celebrate Thanksgiving and see her other grandchildren so I figured it was no big deal. Well I was wrong. She got very upset, and even more resentful of my husbands family (even more than she already is) and we didn't even go see them. I really don't know what to do about this situation especially with Christmas coming up and I am wondering if anyone else has gone through a similar situation. We have never gotten along. She always finds a way to use my own words against me. My dad is no help. I understand that she is still my mother & family no matter what but now that I am married and have a baby i'd like to do my own things. |
Question: Letter from son to mother? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 07:39 PM PST I don't know where to begin. I lost my dad at an early age due to cancer. I lost my older brother from suicide recently. I am 20 years of age. Not looking for pity, but merely seeking advice on some ways I can bring some light into this year's Christmas. Especially for my mom. I can't imagine losing a spouse and a child. Please, any advice, I want to make my mom happy. Thank you. |
Question: Should I kick my son out of the house? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 07:37 PM PST He got the neighbors daughter pregnant. They're very nice people and he's an ungrateful piece of ****. I don't even know how to face them. I am really ashamed to be his father. |
Question: How do I move forward? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 06:18 PM PST My mother is a severe alcoholic and has stated that she does not love many times. She's abusive to me and we have no chance at a quality relationship. She has told me I should kill myself because I am worthless and will never amount to the worth of my sisters. She even put a bottle of pills in my hand and told me to swallow them. I've always needed a mother figure. I just want to be held, for once, and told that I am somewhat worthy in this world. I want to feel a motber's embrace and I want to have my tears dried by a woman who is supposed to love me unconditionally. I don't know what to do. |
Question: Do babies ruin your future? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 05:52 PM PST I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I've been dating my boyfriend since sophomore year. I think I'm pregnant. I just got an academic scholarship for college in the fall and I already have my first semester of college done. I've always been an overachiever. Is my life over now? |
Question: My older brother is very controlling, how can i stop him? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 05:50 PM PST He is 3 years older than me. Whenever i go out with my friends he would call me like 10 times asking me where am i and what im doing and would argue with me because i didn't tell him that im going out. He hates when my mother lets me sleep over at my friends house or go out. He would knock on my door to check on what im doing. It's very annoying. Sometimes im not even allowed to go out because of him!!!! I can't have guy friends over, my mom is okay with it but she says that my brother would get mad. If i want to hang out with them then it should be in a public place. I have my laptop taken away whenever i don't listen to him. I remember when i was younger he hit me and I started bleeding. But he doesn't do that anymore. He just threatenes to hit me but he doesn't. I understand that he's trying to look out for me but it's like he's making all my life decisions. Am I overreacting? How can i stop him from being too controlling? |

Question: Am I doing the right thing? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 04:15 PM PST I was born in America but I was raised in South America, I came this year to the U.S. to do high school, but the question is always on my mind, am I doing the right thing? Should I go home? I got into one of the best high schools of the city, but now I feel like my accomplishments aren t as good as I thought. My whole life while I lived in South America my family would always pressure me about coming here, I tried to demonstrate them that I could be the best even there, since I have memory, even from first grade, I was always at the top of the class, I never got any grade lower than a hundred, and if I did, it was a shame, my teachers would always congratulate my mother for all I did, but even so my family wasn t happy, they would always say, if you are so good why don t you go to U.S.? So this year I decided to stay here, but now I feel lost, my overall average is 88 which for my family is pretty low, now I have them over my shoulders pressuring me to get better grades, am I doing the right thing? |

Question: My mom wants me to call out of work tomorrow, would i get in trouble? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 03:59 PM PST My mom is wanting me to call out of work for tomorrow because she got concert tickets for a christmas concert. She thinks i am afraid to call out because a manager asked me "what time did i ask you to come in tomorrow?" (He never did he just asked me about coming in today which i did) and when he looked at my schedule he told me "never mind". So my mom asked me "what does that mean?" and then told me "I told you to talk to someone about this for two weeks" which all i got were responses to "call out" By the way while at work today about 5 people called out i am sure i wont be the only one tomorrow. Should i just call out so my mom doesnt get mad or should she give a ticket to one of her friends? Either way no matter what i do someone is going to be mad at me |
Question: Why does my sister hord food? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 03:59 PM PST Whenever we make Christmas cookies (for example) she counts them and tells everyone in the house to stay out of her room and and away from her cookies, she has her own little fridge in her room and freaks out if you so much as look at it, she makes my parents go on shopping trips just for her while most of the time I have to go get food or eat week old left overs while she eats like a freaking queen. Once my dad and i went to the store and bought about $300 worth of food and about $250 of it went right to her room. How do i convince my parents to stop showering her with special food and stop spoiling her so damn much? |
Question: Is it bad to feel resentful of my parents for being overprotective? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 03:24 PM PST My parents are loving and wonderful people, and have given me lots of things. However, as I am getting older I'm starting to feel resentful toward them because they are overprotective to an unhealthy point. I live at college where one would expect I'd be able to do anything I want, but I can't. My parents track my phone, I can't have a car, and they can't stand anybody I bring to our house for stupid *** reasons. I'm not being ungrateful, like I said they're very great people. But I really wish this charade would stop. I'm starting to not enjoy being home because every second I'm reminded of what bothers me about them. Because of how overprotective they are I'm slutty and do stupid things all too often |
Question: Not sure what to do? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 03:22 PM PST So I am having a family problem. My father was the business owner of a local small business in my city which was doing quite well. Well my father died this fall, suddenly, under a strange circumstance. Now my uncle is acting quite weird. He has taken over the business and married my mother very quickly. Then, the ghost of my father appeared to my buddy when he was doing security outside the business. He told me to come, and I ended up seeing the ghost of my father. He told me that my uncle was the cause. Can you believe this? Also my girlfriend is mad at me and her dad doesn't approve of us, so basically my life is falling apart. My uncle is making me go to England, should I go? |
Question: Am I being too sensitive? Can you gather and put your opinions on it. (Story.)? Posted: 16 Dec 2017 02:29 PM PST Maybe a week back I went to my 18 year cousin's baby shower and she had her little friends there. She text me and said that she wanted me to go to her baby shower, so I went because I was trying to have a better bond with her. That was little the ONLY reason why I went. It took about an hour or so to get to the place it was held at and I got there, there was a lot of strangers there. I went to my older cousins and they completely ignore me. One of the cousin I tried to have bond with her was too busy with my other cousin. The cousin that wanted me there was too busy for me and she wanted to be around her friends and was consumed in getting attention. She did tried to talk to me after it was about to end, I didn't talk her. I was wanting to go home and I couldn't because my "father" wanted to try and talk to people, so I had to wait. Couple of minutes later he said that we was to be going on 3:30, it was 3:30 and still we didn't go. I was with my mother and I was telling her that I was uncomfortable and I wish I didn't even come. Now it's 4 (maybe 4:30) and people was going to eat and then they was playing games but others had to go, so they switched to opening presents. After that we was gone. I didn't bother with saying goodbye because obviously my presence didn't matter. My cousin that had the baby shower text me with Hey and finally responded to my text. I didn't text back and haven't since December 3rd. |
