Question: Fake mom friend who likes to one-up me? Would you carry on talking to her? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 03:57 PM PST How do I phase out a friendship that I have with a friend. We are both mothers. We no longer live in the same city anymore but we still keep in contact by messaging on facebook now and then. Our husbands are Best friends. Everytime we catch up over message she acts like her life is perfect, acts like she is super rich but isn't (she lives off her family who have money) and how her kids are perfect in every way even though I know for a fact she struggles like all mothers but never admits it. She acts like a know it all. Definitely always trying to out do me to make her life seem better and that her kids are better in every way. At times I think she is jealous of me and my family as she never asks how we truely are (unless she is being nosey) or never congratulates us when ever something great happens in our life or wish us happy birthday!! That type of thing. We only talk when she has something to show off about. The friendship isn't real.... just fake. What would you do in my case? |
Posted: 15 Dec 2017 03:54 PM PST I feel kinda hurt because she didn't even say sorry or anything. As soon as I sent a text back saying yes she text me back and said "I'm going to ____ house" and that was it. How would you feel? |

Question: What is a “cute and annoying” nickname for the name Anthony? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 02:52 PM PST I have a co-worker who has given my other coworkers and I nicknames. He has given us nicknames like kariboo kariwheree, Sarah beara and stuff like that. We want to give him an annoying cute nickname for him so possibly he'll stop. Can anyone think of any? |
Question: My friend keeps hitting me? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 02:48 PM PST My friend keeps hitting me it's gotten really bad I've had black eyes a broken nose and really badly swollen face I don't know what to do they say there sorry but then it happens again I'm fed up with making excuses for my face |
Question: I am selfish and a bad friend? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 02:18 PM PST My best friend lost both his parents - his dad 2 years ago and his mum on Halloween. We're both 23. He lives alone but I don't. Since then, he's been coming round my house every single day and gets p*ssed as a fart some days. I really care for him, but I do wish he'd stop coming round every day and get pissed. I never have time to myself anymore and he gets p*ssed, I get p*ssed off. I usually have to end up carrying him home since he's too drunk to stand up. Earlier today, he texted me saying he's gonna come round at 6pm and he's gonna bring lots of drinks. I responded by saying "I care for you a lot, but you've been coming round a lot lately... meaning I never have time to myself. And when you get drunk, I always have to clean up your mess and carry you home. I've have enough. You've got to clean up your act." He responded "You're such a selfish pr*ck and a bad friend. Don't talk to me." He's been ignoring me ever since. I am really selfish and a bad friend? I realised I forgot to mention - I also have to carry him due to the fact I have no car. And taxis won't take him because he gets really drunk |
Question: Did I ask her personal questions? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 01:45 PM PST I haven't seen a colleague of mine ( girl, we are not particularly close )... and when I saw her I noticed that she had a ring, and I ask her when her bf proposed...how did he do it? did he surprise you? ... and she seemed uncomfortable about the questions.... were my questions personal? |

Posted: 15 Dec 2017 01:07 PM PST so there are these twin sisters in my video editing class who i want to be friends with and also want to be friends with their friends also and they want to be friends with everyone in class and in general so is their a chance i can be friends with them |
Question: Is this considered rape? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 01:01 PM PST When a female goes to a guy's house(some females btw), especially for the first time, she will lead him on. Lay in his bed pretending to sleep or something. The guy starts getting frisky and she will fight him off, until he is able to overpower her and take her against her will either by handcuffing her to the bed or something of that sort. She returns another day and repeats the "fighting him off" process. Is this considered rape? Why do females seem to be into it? Is this the normal procedure for getting sex in the early stages of hooking up? |
Question: Is there an easy way to make your own "bad lip reading" video? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 12:55 PM PST A few years ago, my Godson and I were in a play together, and I want to make a "bad lip reading" video of some of our scenes to give to him as a Christmas present this year. We ve always bonded over our love of bad lip readings, and this would really be the perfect present. But it s really hard! I thought I could just wing it, but it s a lot harder than I thought. Any advice? Are there programs I could use? Or like, a lip-reading dictionary database of words with the same lip movements? |
Question: What does this mean? I really need help with this please? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 12:05 PM PST Okay so my former supervisor was verbally abusive to me but she said she still liked me and she didn't even realize she was being mean to me. I had to bring it to her attention and so one day last week I was talking to her and she said that the age gap between me and her could cause an issue and out of the 6 years I have known her she has never said that until then. I'm 25 about to be 26 and she's 59 so why would she say that? And I feel like I don't want to be her friend anymore because of that but yet she doesn't want to throw our friendship away. I just don't understand this at all and she also has never really talked to me first. I've always had to make the effort so what should I do? And she won't explain anything to me either about why she said the age gap could create an issue even after I asked her to explain |
Posted: 15 Dec 2017 11:17 AM PST Do you guys bad mouth people? I'm beginning to wonder if there's a healthy group of individuals who don't bad mouth other people? I wish there was a group I could belong to that doesn't bad mouth people in the group or outside of the group. |
Posted: 15 Dec 2017 10:50 AM PST So my best friend and I have a very close friendship. We say that we're soul mates because we're very close and have a strong connection. Lately, I've been feeling a little more "love" than just a best friend towards her. Now, we're both straight, and I wouldn't even want to label myself because I'm still confused. But, I don't like or find any attraction to any other girls, but my best friend. So, the other day I decided to tell her. She said she wasn't weirded out and all and if she was gay we would already being dating by now. She'll sometimes say she wishes I was a guy but then if I was the love wouldn't be how it is now. She'll joke and say well maybe who knows, but since I've been developing a little crush on her I take it literal. She said she never cuddles with anyone like that or compliments anyone like that. She will lay on me and say I'm the cutest thing ever. A few months back I did ask to kiss her and she said well are you and it was just a quick peck but we haven't again. We again have a really close friendship and love eachother deeply, but idk what to do because she didn't disagree with what I said, I think it's maybe we both have a little crush on how much we love eachother? She even will say things like well definitely get married if you get a boyfriend then I'll say leave him. She says she's serious and that she would get jealous even though she's not a jealous person. But what does all this mean? |
Question: Buying my friend a Christmas gift? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 09:57 AM PST I'm a guy and I have 2 really close work friends (girls). So today I bought them gift cards for early Christmas present. What should I say to let them know that I'm not expecting a gift from them in return???? I don't want them to feel bad that they didn't get me anything!! Any help |
Question: Did I do the right thing? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 09:43 AM PST So I'm in the military and I arrived to my first command a couple of days ago and my coworkers invited me out with them so I can get to know the people that I'll be working with. So we got something to eat and then went to one of my coworkers houses. Btw I'm 19 and the rest of them are 22 and older but most of them were 22. But while we were there, we were watching movies on Netflix and then I noticed that they were drinking in front of me ( of course I wasn't drinking). But then they were talking about having sex and how they have sex and who they had sex with. I was starting to feel a little uncomfortable so I politely asked them to stop talking about that. So they did... for like 5 minutes. So when they were back to talking about that. I told them, "I don't feel comfortable hearing about that. Either y'all will quit talking about that or you can take me back on base". I was kind of pissed. But did I do the right thing or was I being rude? |
Question: Are you a feminine girl, a normal girl, or a tomboy? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 09:35 AM PST I don't like sports and I don't watch sports channels on TV. Sports is boring and it's a masculine hobby. It takes large amounts of strength and energy. And I don't have that kind of strength or energy because I am not a tomboy or a man. I am a weak woman. I don't like baseball, basketball, soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, hockey, bowling, pool, ping pong, or golf. I am unpopular and I don't participate in cheer leading. I don't know how to do a backflip or a cartwheel. I don't know how to ride a bicycle or a scooter. I don't know how to rollerskate or skateboard. I don't know how to swim or surf. I don't know how to ski or snowboard. I don't know how to ice skate. I am not flexible and I don't participate in gymnastics. I don't participate in boxing. I don't participate in wrestling. I don't participate in track and field. I don't dress like a guy and I don't hang out with guys. I prefer watching Disney Junior TV Shows and listening to Ghanaian gospel music on my phone. |
Question: Why do people in high school suck?? Like seriously, they suck.? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 09:02 AM PST Not much to tell other than people are rude don't care about other people and will make fun of another person right most to hem to their other friends. |
Posted: 15 Dec 2017 08:58 AM PST so this guy is friends with me and my friend but he goes around telling everyone hes dating me and my friend but he isnt. well today i overheard a convo of him and his friend, his friend asked him if he could date my friend and my friend asked why did he choose my friend and he told him because i was the ugly one and he that didnt want to date me. My friend agreed that i was the ugly one and he couldnt have my friend because he wanted her too. So they argued about my friend. I never told my friend i heard what he said but i dont know what to do. |
Question: My friend is suddenly smoking cigarettes??? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 08:31 AM PST My friend got a new guy she's been hanging out with and this guy is a heavy smoker... suddenly I see my friend smoking cigarettes and buying cigarettes etc... should I help her quit or should I mind my business? |
Posted: 15 Dec 2017 08:18 AM PST So i have no confidence in myself and am a very bad conversationalist. And i really want to improve my conversation skills. But i am old, 26 years old and should already be good at conversations, but unfortunately in the past all i did was play video games and study for school, i didnt care to have friends and hang out with people. So i got this job as a cashier at a very busy fruit/vegetable market. And there are 9 other cashiers working along with me. I basically have no other choice but to talk to people Every since this job, i have gained so much confidence. Talking to my coworkers, the customers in line. I feel very happy that i am improving (even though i feel that i need more things to talk about!). But at least i dont feel nervous talking to people as much anymore. But there is one thing i still can't do! Talk to girls that i think are hot or that im attracted to. Every time i talk to them and i think its going to get awkward or i will run out of things to say, i start walking in front of them instead of to the side, or just run away completely. Its so embarrassing, i guess i dont want to have awkward silences. OR maybe i dont want to look stupid in front of a hot girl. Like yesterday i talk to hot girl after class, walking side-by-side, and as soon as i though there was going to be an awkward silence, i started to walk in front of her. So all she could see is my BACK. I am am talking and she hers nothing i am saying because she is behind me. HELP! |
Posted: 15 Dec 2017 06:57 AM PST So there's this group of people in my video editing class who I want to be friends with and they want to be friends with everyone even if they don't have anything in common with them so is it meant to be |
Question: Is this drug dangerous? What should I do? (Urgent)? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 06:48 AM PST The night before last, a couple friends invited me over to their house to hang out and we we having a general conversation about dreams, which turned into a conversation about sleep and had told them early that my insomnia had been giving me a pretty bad headache so one of them told me his dad has a medicine he uses for his nightime headaches. They were tiny white pills that looked like any normal pill, like tiny asprins. He gave me 2 and after about half an hour I started feeling sick/nauseous, dizzy and uneasy so I laid down and feel asleep. I remember waking up a couple times at night panicking then falling back asleep. the next morning I woke up at like 11 and and was awake for about 20 minutes then fell asleep again. I told my friend that I had a bad night of sleep so he gave me 3 to take tonight. After I took them I asked him what they were and he said they were called Atarax. When I looked it up I found out it was an allergy pill and that some people use it for sleep. he said he gave me 25mg pills which is within a normal does for my age (16). but a little while ago I felt like my heart was racing and i panicked and collapsed. I havent told my parents or theirs about any of this bc I dont know how they'll react and i dont want my friend to get in trouble but is this normal and is the medicine safe (on a couple sites some ppl said it was safe with the right dose and others said it was dangerous). I got a little anxious and tried to throw up but didnt? You can get it over the counter here, in Australia |
Question: Moving to new school and new town? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 06:44 AM PST Hey guys, im moving to a new school next year, how do i easily make new friends and ask to sit with people at lunch time (im going into year 11) |

Question: My friend might want to stop college to become a youtuber (read description)? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 01:22 AM PST So I was having a chat with one of my best friends and I asked them if they were going to get their associates degree or transfer to a 4 year university after community college. They said they didn't know yet, but if they couldn't find anything they wanted to do in 2 years they were gonna quit to start a youtube channel. I didn't really say anythig, but idk if I should have slapped some sense into my friend. Would that be wrong? Should I just let them be or should I offer some friendly advice? And I understand that people can make it on youtube, but the truth is most don't. I don't want to sound harsh but I just don't want to see my friend miserable in the future. |
Question: Most of my friends hate me for something I didn't do? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 01:05 AM PST Today my friend came up to me and punched me twice in the face, I had no f****** clue why. Turns out another friend said I was trying to break him and a chick up which is 100 percent untrue backed with absolutely no proof whatsoever. Unfortunately most of my friends believe him. I have no clue what to do. I've tried talking to them both and they refuse to believe me, even with the support of the only 1 friend on my side. The one who started it all even 100 percent thinks I am, even though I've not and haven t even done anything to suggest that I was trying to break them up, I m actually supportive of them. I m so pissed of and upset that this has happened for literally no reason. Honestly. |
Question: Have you known or do you now know someone who is really flaky like Dwight Schrute? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 12:43 AM PST Someone whose grasp on reality is tenuous, and who is just flaky overall? |
Question: I feel like a freak and an outcast.? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 12:28 AM PST I know you don't need many friends to do great things in life, but it really hurts me to socialize. I notice many people give me dirty looks like I have problems, even my family. People are biased towards me because I have a unique personality. There was even a misunderstanding one time and other parents were going up to my mom at church saying they didn't want me to talk or go anywhere around their kids because a rumor went around that I assaulted someone when I didn't. All throughout my elementary school experience I remember getting constantly in trouble for things other kids could do. Like other kids would call me piece of ****, because I'm brown, and I would tell the teacher, and he would talk to them, but if I did something as simple as do spit wads outside during recess, I would get sent to the principle's office. In high school I would try to talk to other people but they would exclude me, assuming I didn't have similar interests as them, when in fact I did. My aunt got mad at me onetime because she thought I never clean the kitchen, so she threatened to shove her fist down my throat. I'm not a rellious bad person as everyone seems to label me as. I'm shy and depressed. I like being with people, it's just hard, no one really gives me a chance to express who I really am. I'm actually a fairly pretty person with a good sense of style and don't know why I have a hard time with people. |

Question: Why do white males tend to look old when they are 20 compared to asian males? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 12:01 AM PST I notice that white guys when they reach 20 already look like full on men and adults. They look like they are men. Whereas asian guys could be 28 but look 19 |
Posted: 14 Dec 2017 11:34 PM PST We have a project together for something important (sorry for the ambiguity) but she won't let me help with a part that she was assigned to do. She thinks she's already so good at it and doesn't need help, but it's so painful for me to watch her pride ruin our project. I want to teach/help her but she's so stubborn and now she's annoyed at me saying I'm nagging to much. I know I might be nagging, but this could jeopardize our project (it's a crucial part) and she couldn't do much of any other part of the project (mainly because she wasn't physically capable). I want the project to come out the best it can because it's for an important client (money involved) and we promised quality, but she isn't willing to let me help, or atleast help without getting annoyed at me. |

Question: Will I meet bullies in real life after high school? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 10:38 PM PST I'm about to graduate high school soon but I was wondering will there be bullies in college or in jobs or when I'm older? |
Question: Should I change my ways or stay the same? What's wrong with me? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 10:30 PM PST First off I need serious answers no jokes. I am currently 18 male, just finished my first semester in college. I have no friends and I have not made an attempt to make any. Besides it being difficult to make friends I feel like I don't need them. Right now I am focused on my goals and am not stoping for anything. But at the same time I am tired of being lonely. I go through the same process every single day. I have turned down approaches from people because I don't trust anybody anymore. The people I was "friends" with in the past are the reason why I am like this. I can't trust anyone anymore so why bother making friends? Besides not having friends at the moment I never had a girlfriend. ive been made fun of for this and now it kind of bothers me. But like I said at the same time I don't trust anybody. After going through a lot of trouble just to get her she can leave me at any time so what's the point? Are friends really worth the trouble? I've been screwed too many times I fear befriending the wrong people again. I've heard college you meet new people, but I can't talk to them. It's like I have two sides, one saying stick to yourself, while the other is depressed of being alone. What should I do? Should I just stick to myself? |
Question: What's some fun stupid redneck stuff to do with friends in the snow? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 09:41 PM PST A friend and I are hanging out this weekend and we need some stuff to do any ideas |
Question: Does anyone want to be my friend? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 08:42 PM PST For some reason, today no one is talking to me. I tried texting my wife but all she said was "can't afford it." What does that mean? Someone please be my friend. |
Question: Why’s there no love for the jocks? Nerds are overrated? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 08:24 PM PST In high school, the 'jocks' are so fun and actually really sweet. Maybe many years ago the stereotype was sort of accurate, but my jock-type classmates are so sweet. Nerds always seem to be needy and even sh*t on other peoples' opinions - sorry they are too entitled. Screw them. Jocks are very easy to talk to, I sometimes hang around with them, because I actually like this one guy. I just see that some school peers really trash on their group for being jocks? Or fun people? I don't know. They're really GREAT though! :/ |
Question: Would you stay friends with close friends of your former significant other.? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 07:26 PM PST especially if they were not your friends prior to dating your former significant other |

Posted: 14 Dec 2017 06:19 PM PST I am really bad at talking to people face to face but texting isn't as awkward so I'm trying to steer away from texting and actually talk on the phone with people even if it not face to face. I feel like it's more intimate and personal and will help me, but I'm nervous for asking for my friends number. Not my friends who are girls but I feel like some of my friends who are boys are going to be weird and get the wrong idea.... Why is there this stigma almost with getting numbers. What should I do? Other methods? I also kinda wanna video chat but some friends will get the wrong idea... |
Question: My boyfriends mom is coming between us? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 05:55 PM PST Well she basically always is by the door or asking him to do something whenever we are about to have sex. Yes I live with my boyfriend at his moms house. When ever he buys me stuff she makes comments like where's mines? He broke my cell phone and bought me a new one but he told me not to tell her he got it for me. Now she found out and has being talking to him on the side that I need to leave because I am a stay at home mom and he doesn't want me to work! I got a offer to work at the airlines but he said no he wouldn't take me to the interview! One night we had a date night that we planned 2 months ago an asked her around the same time of the planning to babysit she said yes but the night of she got drunk and went out with out telling us leaving us with no baby sitter an canceled planes? Is she doing this on purpose because other than that she's nice to me |
Question: What can I do to improve my social qualities? Posted: 14 Dec 2017 05:47 PM PST I'm a person that can keep a conversation going and I'm extremely friendly, however I lack initiative. I always wait for people to go up to me to start a conversation, I also always wait for a friend to text me or go up to me to hang out, ETC. I try to convince myself to be the one to start the conversation with my friends but I always end up thinking that they will maybe ignore me, or they're to busy to receive a text, and create the worst scenarios possible. What can I do to fix this, it is making me lose friends. |
