She always used to sneak glances at me and couldn't hold eye contact when we spoke. After she found out, there have been a few times where we've exchanged eye contact, and her being the one that I've seen looking and initiate it almost. We'll hold the stare for a prolonged amount of time with neutral looks on the both of our faces and it feels very tense, I don't know how to describe it. She doesn't look away and I'm usually the one to break eye contact. |

At that time we went to a music festival and we ended up having sex that night even though both of us were in separate relationships. Her boyfriend was a deadbeat with no ambition but they were together for around 5 years. My girlfriend ended up not being what I expected at the beginning. We both thought it was amazing and it had felt like a long time coming and we continued doing it for about 6 months until the guilt got to her and she told her boyfriend who ended up telling my girlfriend and out of fear I said it was all lies. I haven t spoken to her again except for 2 unresponded messages and a "he said she said" deal but that s it. It turns out I ve been missing her this whole time and I would like to get back in contact but I m unsure if I ve put her through to much to even speak to me or if she even thinks about me. I know what I did was horrible and I regret the lies but I genuinely never felt this way for anyone else. Should I walk away or make an attempt at speaking with her? |

The ones that approach me are insane (they clearly have issues--some admit it) or are taken and hide it. The ones I approach seem like good guys until you start talking to them for a few days and their colors start to show which by then, I need to cut them out of my life. These men did not come from nights out at bars or clubs. They lurk around the city looking and acting like good guys at first. Maybe it's my city and I need to move out. Maybe it's today's society as a whole, I don't know. Seeing that I have been sad about this lately, I wonder if I should just settle. For a second, I was thinking of texting my last ex boyfriend (who has BPD) who said he still has feelings and was sorry for everything. He told me I was the best he has ever had and has changed since he now knew what he did was wrong...but I think back at the horrible things he told me that I just can't. I got a five day suspension from school for no reason. It starts Today. I saw a girl that I was interested in and I wanted to be friends with her but I m a shy girl so I sent one of my friends to go talk to her for me and she yelled in me and my friends face so I got mad and went down stairs and I scratched her picture ( my school has pictures of students posted around the building) then she saw that her face was scratched off and snitched on me (this all happened during lunch). After lunch I got called down to the principals office from my math class and I went downstairs and they told me that I have a five day suspension and I tried to explain to them why I scratched her face off I told them that i try to include this girl in my social group but she decided to be all rude about it they did tell her that she should be more nice but she didn t get a consequence for what she did even though she deserved it ( they were talking about how her feelings were hurt and they even said that she could be going through a difficult time!!! But there s no excuse for that I don t care about your feelings or what you re going through you still need to respect me no matter what) I tried to convince them light up the punishment but they wouldn t they even made me apologize to her even though she was the one that needed to apologize to me she deserved to have her ugly disgusting face scratched off she looks better that way anyways. |

Recently whenever I see her parents talking in the hallway, I just joke around going, "I wander if they're allowed to kiss." She laughs too, but then becomes quiet, one time in her dad's class, he said something about her mom and I was like, "...if only they could act like they loved each other at school." She laughed at this again, but then said to knock it off in a jokey kind of way, I apologized immediately afterward. After school, I was hanging with her and her sister in her mom's room, and I asked them joking around, "So, do your parents actually ever kiss at home, or do they act like they barely know each other?" This time they just looked at each other and we just kept talking like I never said that. I'm trying to ask her what her deal is, but I don't want to hurt her feelings more... (BTW I'm 12) I just need to know if that's part of their job that they can't talk or show romance, and the kids know that too, please answer nicely. |

It's pathetic but there it is. I've not had the best luck on dating apps or dating full-stop this past year, also I feel kind of pathetic on dating apps as it is but as I've gone on/off them so often I worry people will see me on there and think 'oh it's her again, she's still not found anyone...how pathetic'. It's also slim pickings locally too it seems. I just saw her at a school football game and I realized I really like her. I couldn't tell how she feels about me, but I think there's something. I'm a high school junior and she's a freshman. I have one class (orchestra- we play cello together and the enitre section is close) with her everyday and we play in another orchestra together once a week at night. I want to get her Snapchat soon and possibly asking her to watch the next football game, but as a friend for now. So far I've only talked to her at school, the orchestra, and for about 45 mins at the last game. How can I build up to dating without ruining anything. If it becomes awkward, we would have to live with it for two years, until I graduate, since we'll keep seeing each other in class.
