Question: How would I know if a professor was attracted to me... And/or is trying to be friends? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 06:26 AM PDT I had one professor 1.5 years ago. I've seen her several times now since the start of this quarter and I've acted like I don't know her - never saying hi or acknowledging that I had her. However, it seems that she recognizes me. I'm just not comfortable with professors period. It seems like she's tried acknowledging me but I don't make eye contact or I give brief eye contact when she does. She passed me studying while looking directly at me and it looked like she was going to turn and say something to me but she hesitated and continued on, quickly dropping her head down. And I have seen her looking at me from afar quite a bit. Once while walking to class in the first week of the quarter, I saw her and stopped walking momentarily so we wouldn't cross paths, but she turned and looked right at me. And she then seemed to have dramatically slowed her pace (I had to slow my pace to stay behind).... perhaps thinking I might make conversation with her? She indeed seemed to like me (not unfairly) when I was in her class but I didn't have much of a relationship with her - never went to office hours, never talked after class, etc. She was friendly towards me but a bit abrupt with others. I told her she was great on the last day of her class and I did leave a positive professor review and signed it. She's married to a man by the way and I'm female. She is 4 years older than I am. What is it she's interested in? Just being polite, wanting to be friends or attracted to me? |
Question: How do I help my brother? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 03:57 AM PDT First of all my brother was in a very bad situation, he was jobless living off our parents, mainly because he dropped out of highschool. Well a few weeks ago I learned he got beat into a gang. The night after it happened he came home with bruises and cuts all over his face from them literally kicking his face. Recently he s also been buying his own food and clothes, he still doesn t have a job so I m worried as to where this money is coming from. He has already been in jail when he was 17 for having a fist fight with our dad and damaging property in the process. It was exsponged off his record after he attended an anger management class. I m afraid if he gets arrested again they won t erase it this time, or worse someone kills him. He also hangs around horrible people, one of his guy friends has made suggestive comments towards me before and the girls he hangs around are just completely trashy, wearing barely anything. What can I do to convince him to stop hanging out with them and to try getting a real job so he can leave it? |
Question: Is he abusive because he's gay? Posted: 12 Oct 2017 02:21 AM PDT I gave birth 4 months ago. Three weeks after giving birth to my little girl, I found out my BD is gay. I found out the worst way possible. He had a post on Craigslist in the M4M section stating he was looking for twinks for all day and night of just *******! He is a 34 year old male. I was so devistated when I found out. He denied it and said he was not gay or a ******. He has verbally , mentally, and physically abused me for 4 years. I was so in love I didn't understand why he would call me nasty names and never was intimate with me. He goes to his boys house every sinlge day for the past 4 years. He said his friends hate me and that I shouldn't call him to ask him where He is or what He is doing. I should shut up and respect. I am not allowed to leave the house. We don't go on dates cause He says it's embarrassing. He takes his friends out. Gods friends are all heroine addicts and crack heads. He spits on my face. Rapes me. Says he hates me and has even joined Santeria to get rid of me. But here is the kicker..... He says he wants to be with me and that I can't leave him. Wtf!! Does this homo have mental illness that severe? I don't know what to do. What's wrong this in the closet homosexual? |

Question: Are the people in my city becoming like a zombie? Posted: 11 Oct 2017 11:49 PM PDT I mean I left my hometown when I was 18.... and then I came back when I was 27. So I spent 9 years without seeing my family and sisters. What I noticed: - My sisters are becoming so self centered and aggressive. One of them attacked me and ripped my shirt just because I mouth back her insult. - The people have no feeling and they do everyhting because they need money. They put money above people. - My mother is slow for the lest 5 years (she couldn't understand when somebody speaks) - We hire some people at our shop but they are very disrespectful (our family own a clothing store). - people are very rude When I left the city, it was much better than this..... maybe these people are turning into zombies? Also self centered meaning when they did something bad to other people including me, they did not realized it and they did not apologize..... maybe being persistence... Last november (last year), there were a riot and people were looting stores.... (thank GOD, they did not come to ours) |

Question: Likelihood of being related to my girlfriend? Posted: 11 Oct 2017 10:12 PM PDT I know this is a stupid question, but is it likely that my girlfriend and I are closely related by blood? My great-grandmother was from a small town of 10,000 people in Sicily, Italy. I also found out that my girlfriend, who is half Sicilian, has a great grandfather from the same town. Is it possible that we're distant cousins or something? |

Question: Should i feel guilty or what? Posted: 11 Oct 2017 11:25 AM PDT I met a guy on a birthday party few days ago...We liked each other, so i accepted his invitation to go to his place after the party. We had s*x and it was wonderful, until his mom came in the room. I was shocked, because she caught us naked, but i also didn`t know that he was living with his mother. The thing is that she was arrogant, nervous and i think a bit crazy. She started yelling at him: " What are you doing?'' ''You don`t go to work, you only drink and sleep, and now you brought a slut in my house.'' After yelling at him, she spat on me. I felt disguisting. He saw that, and on my biggest surprise, he jumped at his mom and said, she is not a slut and you better apologize. Instead of an apologize, she threw a cell phone to me and hit me in the chest. I was totally confused and afraid I have to admit, as i was naked and attacked by his mother. But what got me astonished was when he put his mom on her knees in front of me, caught her arms and yelled at her: '' She may be my wife in the future, you can`t threat her like that, do you understand?'' Nevertheless, his father showed up too. When we told him what happened, he grabbed her by the hair, took her to the living room and started hitting and kicking her. She was crying as a baby. As i was leaving from there, i saw his father stomping on her face and he winked on me. Should i feel guilty for that?? |
