The girls are rude to me, and they never say why. They get along with all of the boys but when they come across me they don't even ******* bother saying "hi", at least the boys say hi when I come across them. They are nice to the other boys but to me they just ignore me, and I don't know why. About the boys: they're aggressive ***** who think they cool. You can insult each other and call them names, but only if you in their crew. One day I pointed out someone's mistake while typing, and he was like: "whoa dude, you so mean! I just cannot believe he's gone,I mean it's surreal thinking that I'll never see him again,ever. Last year we were in high school and now he's gone. Anyway some of my girls who are against the troops,you know the "soldiers are fascists" kind of people are telling some bad things about him such as that he got what he deserved,that they're not sad because of his death. I did not remember who she was and what I had did for her. She told me I had talked her into going to college instead of getting married soon after she got out of high school. She said if she had not gone to college she would not been able to have the wonderful career she has had. She ask me if I would join her and her husband for dinner so she could express her thanks. At dinner her husband said he also wanted to thank me for convincing her to go to college. If she had not gone to college he would not have met her and they would not have got married. She then said "You didn't recognize me did you". Slightly embarrassed I told her I didn't recognize her when I first saw her. She said that is understandable. I had a face lift and a boob job. I was at a loss for words. Ladies, what should I have said? I couldn't say nice boob job with her husband setting there next to her. Basically, I have one friend who introduced me to her friend (mutual friend 1). THEN, mutual friend 1 introduced me to his friend (the one i'm referring to as the forced friend, mutual friend 2). However, mutual friend 1 stopped talking to mutual friend 2 and my original friend but mutual friend 2 stuck along to me and my original friend, forcing herself into our lives lol. Now, I can't seem to get rid of her and I want nothing to do with her and I feel kinda bad for her. She thinks we are friends but the only reason I was "friends" with her in the first place was because of mutual friends not because I actually was interested in becoming her friend. But now that mutual friend 1 has terminated his relationship, I see no point of her being in my life... Not only this but she basically hinted and straight up told me that she has a crush on me, which made me cringe and feel bad for her even more. I see her nothing close to that. When me and my original friend make plans, she gets jealous and tries to barge in. And she told me that she hates how I'm more joyful around my original friend than I am around her. I wanna say 15-17 years old, I don't know for sure all I know is that he's had his dog throughout his young childhood and early adulthood. He was kind of a troubled person back in his early teen years and he dealt with *minor* depression (im not making the situation less, I'm just stating what he told me and what I understood) and he always had his dog to cope. Anyway, apparently his dog isn't doing well now.. and he cries uncontrollably just thinking about his dog passing even during the times when his dog is just fine. And when the dog is sick, he's a stressed mess, he doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep on his bed rather on the ground with the dog, barely sleeps, constantly stressed. His main priority IS his dog, he lives at home with his parents (estranged relationship and his parents have a very very dysfunctional relationship towards each other, unrelated to my friend). He told me that once his dog dies he's probanly gonna end his life too because his dog has been there for him through all of his hard times in his life, and he just can't bear to live a life without his dog. And that if his dog dies, he basically 'failed him' (despite dogs have a much shorter life span than humans...). what should I do? And yes he cries at the thought of his dog dying, I'm not talking a few tears.. I'm talking uncontrollably sobbing for MULTIPLE hours WITHOHT stopping. And this is when his dog is FINE... just to put things in perspective. |

When I first started school i hung out with some people who seemed to not care one way or the other if we had stayed friends. I realized that after a while and I dropped the "friendship" Maybe people arent genuine enough but it seems hard finding someone real and not fake. But I'm a shy person, I'm a introvert and I force myself to just have a conversation with someone next to me in class just to get myself out of my shell and to work on my people skills. But every time I try to have a conversation with someone new they never try to keep the conversation going. Like I'll say, "What your major?" And then they'll say, "Criminal justice." And then just stare at me. Then I'll say, "Oh cool yeah mine is psychology. Are you studying for the Lsat?" And they'll say, "No." And then they'll just stare at me. It feels so freaking awkward so I just end the conversation because their not contributing to it and then they'll talk to someone they don't know next to them and have a full blown exciting conversation and I'm wondering what I did wrong? I'm not trying too hard. I'm just trying to meet people. But every time I talk to someone I get this impression like their fake or just not genuine enough to just talk to someone. Like I don't even expect anything from the conversation. I just want to talk and meet someone, have deep conversations and stuff. Am I doing something wrong? Should I just stop? |

Posted: 19 Oct 2017 10:20 PM PDT So there is this girl I thought was cute I told my friend thinking I could trust him but he snitched to her boyfriend because he is "cool", the boyfriend comes up to me acting all tough then he says something interesting, she was sexually assaulted. I have had something similar happen when I was little, so I wrote two letters to her explaining my life story my history and current issue with self harm after both notes she read them gasped a little bit then moved on, but then I heard a rumor from A different friend that if I wrote another letter to her she was gonna report it to the resource officer of the highschool, my friend found this out from her boyfriend. she hasn't asked me to stop sending her these letters or anything so I'm really confused and worried because their are a lot of secret things in those letters I was just trying to make a friend that had been through something similar, did my confidence to share these important things creep her out? |

| Question: How can I enjoy my Halloweekend? Posted: 19 Oct 2017 09:15 PM PDT When I most likely won't go to any parties cause my life sucks. I am just sick and tired of college. It makes loners like me more miserable. They really should've wanted me about this BD two years ago. I transferred schools and my life is still a joke. Other than one guy I hang with to play ball with I have no one. I only went drinking once and yeah just some frat dudes playing drinking games. And yes I go home. How can I meet friends if I haven't made friends in classes or in my clubs. And I am sick of being nice to people, they expect me to be nice but don't even feel my pain. |

Posted: 19 Oct 2017 08:57 PM PDT so im in 7th grade and i had only one friend that i was friends with already for three years. we had good times but now she is friends with another girl that i had problems with before. as problems, i mean they became friends and left me out alot a long time ago. when we all became friends again, i feel like everythings going back to the way it was. they always ignore me when im there and whenever i try to speak to them.. i feel like she doesnt like me anymore because all she does is talk about her to me and how amazing she is, and how excited she is for second period which is the class she has with her. it just keep eating at me and breaking me and i dont know what i can do about it. ive already tried talking to her about it and she told me i was wrong, and this wasnt the case. they included me the next day, then it went on like it always does after that day. i feel like im jealous so i shouldnt say anything. like today she asked me if i was going to a dumb dance at our school, i told her i wasnt and i made up an excuse. (the real reason was because she would probably just ignore me and talk to her other friends) she was really shocked and told me she needed me as a backup in case the friend she loves is with her boyfriend that they both fought over. after this i felt as if she just called me a backup friend, i just feel terrible at this point. i feel less like her friend and more like someone she can talk to when her other friend isnt there.. |

I work a lot. And I've been hearing Taylor Swift, who I never thought I would care for. I actually really enjoy her music and now I listen to her a lot. I'd even say she's one of my favorites. In 8th grade I left my friend group I'd been in since 2nd grade. I became friends with this girl I'd known since kindergarten and along with another girl we became a new group. That was my first mistake. They constantly ditched me. But when we discovered that the girl I'd known since k had been lying, me and the other girl became good friends. That summer we worked together. We ended up ditching the other girl and forming a new group with two girls I've known forever. It was so great. I felt like I actually belonged for the first time in my life. But the "honeymoon phase" didn't last long. The girls we'd become friends with were very much into wanting to fit in and be popular. Turns out the girl I considered my best friend did too. It got worse from there. They'd have inside jokes without me and make sure I knew it. During the summer it mellowed out but as soon as school started back it got worse. They began to go hang out without telling me then posting all about it on social media. They also started to pretty much act like they didn't want to be my friend. They don't wait on me for anything. They don't save me a seat at lunch or any other event. They tease me if I dress up or do my hair different. I'm just done. But I don't have another option. I'm a sophomore and ditching them would mean I'd be alone. The groups have already been formed and none of them interest me. I don't know what to do. |

My mom and dad are letting me go to school tomorrow and everything and even hang out with my friend as planned. But we were going to have a sleepover, and i am really upset that my mom isn't letting me sleepover, even if I bring my own pillow and everything. Is this reasonable? Posted: 19 Oct 2017 07:40 PM PDT I had a lot of friends in elementary because I just clicked with everyone and we were all like a family. I had one best friend that I hung out with all the time and we were super close from 3rd grade until 6th grade then I got tired of her so we drifted apart and barely talked. It is the biggest regret of my life. I thought I could easily make new friends, and I did for a while but it was very short lived. The reality is that making a strong friendship in middle school is basically impossible for me. I changed schools last year although it was the same thing, I made a few friends on the first day but they ended up not liking and ignoring me. I was a little clingy but it was because I was scared to be an outcast again, which I definitely am now in 8th grade. Ugh, I just want to turn back time. |
