Question: Is it okay to leave him? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 08:30 PM PDT I think I need to move on. I've been married for 4 years and in that span my husband has been very sick, now he needs a transplant so it's been pretty hard for both of us. However I feel like he behaves like a child he doesn't shower or lets me help him clean up, he doesn't brush his teeth or change his clothes for days. I want to help but he is very rude and doesn't listen to me. We stopped being intimate 8 months now. I tried everything to express my needs as a person I need attention and appreciation. He gets so mean in the hospital even doctors and nurses stand up for me he's not nice to them either. I am tired of trying I gave up everything for him I no longer feel human. I want to have children and stability love a partner. I'm still young, what I've come to realize is I will loose myself more if I continue with him. Nothing will change I know now even if he has a transplant he won't be able to give me children plus my life will always be on hold. I can not bear it much longer, but guilt and fear of change. I know I need to get better. Is it okay to leave him if I feel this way? |

Question: Why does my family always throw my failed marriage in my face? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 06:09 PM PDT I was in a verbal abusive marriage with my estranged husband for 2 years. I recently moved back in with my parents. My two sisters and their 3 children moved back in as well. I guess you can say things have been kind of complicated. I'm finding that my mother & 2 sisters always throw my marriage or my failures from it in my face or make me feel bad. It's sometime the comments the make. They hurt my feelings. I tell them about & they know it's hurts. My father doesn't do this. I am battling depression and suicide a lot so I have been kind of mean or sad a lot lately. My sister call me mean. I am also a diabetic so I have mood swings when my sugar is too low, hungry or sleepy which is often. How do I stop them from throwing things in my face? I honestly would have never talked with them if I knew they would blame for this or throw my problems in my face. My sisters & mother have also witnessed my husband behavior on occasions and first hand. This seems to bothering me more than it should. |

Question: My friends' husband is not a good guy. Is there anything I can do? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 03:24 PM PDT My friends' husband is a jerk. He's controlling and manipulative. He will pout when he doesn't get his way, he has physically choked her before, beat her car with a baseball bat, etc. Me and her weren't so close, but we are gradually become the best of friends. She says she can finally be herself when she's with me and I like that i can be an escape from her crazy husband. He's starting to not allow her to see me. He will do anything in his power to stop her and it's RIDICULOUS. He's been acting horrible towards me as well now. He happens to be my husbands best friend as well. I'm not sure what to do. I should add this woman is the type to do ANYTHING for anyone. She's extremely selfless and generous, she loves too deeply. She suffers from depression as well and he clearly doesn't help that whole situation. |
Posted: 20 Oct 2017 03:16 PM PDT So I am a dog trainer and I am fostering a dog from the shelter to produce videos on training a dog from scratch for my blog. I sleep very little at night lately so I try to take a small nap from 1 to 3 every day. Almost every day in this small time frame he has to walk around in the room nearby making noise and waking me up. He says he has a right to do what he wants in the home. I am asking "really?" and you can't just sacrifice yourself for 2 hours and be quiet like I am when you have a headache and let you sleep in the bedroom without bothering? Now he's being a jerk and saying "well maybe we shouldn't live together." I know this dog is being a pain as he has to drive us once a week to socialize in places and classes, but it's for a good purpose. I know he's grumpy because of this dog, but really, can't he just have a bit of respect and let me sleep 2 hours of my life? No I cannot drive myself. We have a leased car and he's afraid the dog will scratch it so I have to stay in the back and hold the dog. I can't sleep at night due to anxiety and health problems. And this is a real paying job, I make much more than others I know. Happy, so you think it's not normal that when couples fight they might say things like that? I am confused because when I tell my husband he says, it's normal when couples are angry to say things like that even though they may regret it later. |
Question: Why don't women value a hard working man until they get into their late 20's, early 30's? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 02:44 PM PDT It seems like most women in their early to mid 20's could care less if a guy has his life together and is a hard worker. They just want to date a guy who still lives with his parents and has never worked a day in his life and just parties all the time and smokes weed and drinks alcohol and plays video games 24/7. College girls don't seem to value intellect, hard work, or maturity, they just want to be with guys who want to get wasted every weekend and sleep in till 1pm everyday and go to bed at 4am and skip class Like if they had a choice between a guy who was 22 and an entrepreneur building the next facebook or high tech company who was smart, charismatic, dressed to the dimes and confident or a 22 year old guy who wore pajamas everyday and snapback hats and flip flops and said "dude" or "bro" every 3rd word and was always drinking beer, they'd choose the latter |

Question: If America is a Land of Freedom and Equality, why are we only allowed to marry one woman? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 12:12 PM PDT Should not a man be able to take as many wives as his bed and bank account can handle? What gives the government the right to stick its nose in people's love affairs and tell them how many women they are allowed to call their wife. In Africa you can have as many wives as you want, as long as you can support all of them and their offspring. Now that's how true freedom should be. @Baby Boomer rock fan That goes against the freedom this nation is supposed to stand for. You can't dictate how people should act to impose a certain perception of a subject on the people. If men are going to look at women as a commodity, then that's their freedom of opinion and belief, polygamy or no. Likewise, if women choose to go to these wealthy men or prostitute themselves, then they bring that perception on themselves. Polygamy isn't forced. @Barb Outhere I'm curious. How so? If the woman wouldn't equate a monogamous marriage to slavery, then I can't see why a few extra bodies around would change anything outside some possible angst. As long as the man is supporting them all, there should be no conflict. And it's not like women in polygamous marriages can't divorce if they're unhappy. @Silver wings Why? I never understood the stance that if one believes the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, they should go live on the other side of the fence. How about trying to make the grass just as green on their current side? |
Posted: 20 Oct 2017 12:08 PM PDT Is it weird for a married, 31 year old, with kids to hang-out with a bunch of 18-19 year old children and start behaving like they do? I see the word "lonely" used and if that is the case my spouse is choosing to be lonely because we ALWAYS try to include my spouse in everything we do, my spouse says no. And we also try hard to take an active interest in my spouses interests but my spouse chooses these children over us... Spends from 6 in the morning to midnight, does all sorts of things claimed not to enjoy when I ask. |

Question: Why doesn't my husband trust me? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 10:02 AM PDT We've been together for four years, and married for one. I've only been with two men my whole life including him. Maybe dated all of five people. But he acts like he doesn't trust me at all. And not just with cheating. One time he lost a little baggie of bud and almost insisted that I took it to smoke. He found it a week later under the dresser drawer because it fell behind it. But accused me up until then. My crazy neighbor recently followed me up my apartment steps. I came into the apartment and had no time to explain I just told him he needed to answer the door when they started banging on it and opened the recorder on my phone just in case they did anything stupid and later my husband said he though I was going to have a bunch of guys jump him or something while I filmed it. Why would he think I'd do something like that? My best friend of seven years who's like a brother to me has recently become a problem with him. He doesn't allow me to hang out with him by myself but acts like an *** around him. I don't lie, I've never cheated. I've been patient with it for a while because I know he had been hurt before. I just feel like I've earned some kind of trust by now. Now it just makes me feel like garbage. It's making me question myself and if maybe there's a reason I don't deserve his trust. It's starting to drive me crazy. What should I do? I've talked to him about it before and nothing has changed. What could be causing this? Trust is the foundation to a good relationship. |
Question: Can my husband really put me on house arrest? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 10:01 AM PDT My husband works long hours. I am disabled and take care of the children during the day and do an online certificate program. I rarely, if ever go anywhere except to get the kids from school. Last night, I told him that I wanted to go to the salon and run to the drugstore to pick up a prescription. He became irate and told me that I will not be going anywhere and that he is sick and tired of me going places and not being at home and that I will be staying here. Is this normal? Can he really do this? |
Posted: 20 Oct 2017 09:02 AM PDT My cousin who's y/o made mentioning to me that she cleaned urine off the floor of which belonged to my husband because he's done this before prior to her ever being in our home. I approached him with the info telling him to be mindful of those things since we only have one bathroom of which we are all sharing. I have had issues with his hygiene and cleanliness for some time now. After I mentioned this to him he literally snapped cussing her out and me out in front of our 9-month old. He demanded that she leaves our home of which I stepped in saying no she doesn't. He then tried to give me an ultimatum saying it's her and him. When I ignored him he became destructive to our home by slamming the bedroom door calling me and her the "B" word and telling us to go and suck a "D" .... The days following it got worse of which I had to call the police and make a report. He's now left the home and blocked me from calling, texting, and emailing him. He also said "F" our son, me, and my babysitter. He said he's going to make my life a living hell and how he'll collect on my life insurance policy and that he's going to try and get me evicted. |
Question: I want to have a beach wedding in Florida am I being selfish? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 07:05 AM PDT Me and husband are from Ohio. the first time we got married we didn't have any type of celebration at all .this time around I really want my big day to be the way I want it. I would love a beach wedding but my husband prefers to have a wedding in Ohio because he thinks it's more convient for his family. I'm not trying to exclude his family out the picture but they are not paying for anything as far as the wedding. and I don't feel like I should have to compromise for my big day again.and if they really want to be there they will save for it because I plan on telling them a year in advance. am I being selfish? |
Question: I’m scared to ask for a divorce? Posted: 20 Oct 2017 06:08 AM PDT I am not getting what I need out of my husband and I am going to sound like a terrible person when I say this but I've been secretly on a dating website. I haven't spoken to a single person on the site I've just browsed photographs. I haven't ready any messages from any guys. I'm not getting ANY attention from my husband he only comes home 3 times a week he stays next door at his moms since he wants "space." We haven't been out on a date since August nor had sex in 3 weeks. All he does is complain that he gets nothing done around the house cause I'm "in the way." and when he is home he sleeps on the couch. I feel bad but I called a friend to come over I was so upset I just wanted someone to cuddle with. We've only been married since July. He was NEVER like this prior to getting married. I'm 28 with no children. I see all my friends getting married and happy. I'm scared at 28 it will be too late for me to find someone |
Posted: 20 Oct 2017 05:50 AM PDT My wife doesn't have a job we have 2 children, one 6 years old and one 7 months, and she feels overwhelmed because she's always with the baby, which I don't feel is all the way true. She keeps saying I get to come and go as I please. I really don't go anywhere but to work. She quit her job when the baby was born. I told her if she had a job she'd be away from the baby for an extended period of time and it would help with missing the baby but she just tells me she doesn't want to work right now, no that doesn't come from postparttum that was always her plan. She didn't make a lot of money there and she takes online classes for graduate school so she offsets the income with the money from school. The only time I go anywhere is on my off days because our son goes to school on the other side of town next to my sisters house so when he gets taken to school I stay over there until he's out. Its not like I don't ever get the baby most times I come in from work and grab her but she always end up coming to get her from me. Can anyone help me seriously. |
