Question: Accidentally knocked my friend out and I feel bad, is he really ok? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 05:53 PM PDT A few friends of mine got together and had our own wrestling tournament at the park. We all took turns fighting. When it was my turn I accidentally kneed my friend in the face and knocked him out. We were gonna call his parents but he was only out for a few minutes then got up fine. He was acting strange for a little while like he was gonna throw up but he didn't. We stopped the game after that but I still feel guilty. I apologized and he said he wasn't mad or anything but I still feel bad bc he has a headache. I keep asking him if he's okay and he says he if but I'm still worried. He's not acting as hyped as before but says its just because he has a headache. No one else seems to be worried but me. |

Question: How to get over the loss of a loved one? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 04:39 PM PDT I recently lost a close friend of mine. It's been hard to concentrate in school and anytime all I think of is him. Any tips to get over it? I will always remember him and will never forget my close friend. I love him so much and miss him a lot. |
Question: I am not inviting someone to my party. Should I feel bad? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 04:12 PM PDT Ok, so I am having a party soon and I am inviting all of my friends--- except for one. Last time she came over, she was very disrespectful to my parents and even texted about them to my friends in a group excluding me and she never apologized for it, and she lied and said it never happened. My parents don't want me to invite her over, for obvious reasons. I know I shouldn't feel bad about not inviting her, but I do. I tried to have it so she wouldn't find out about it, but one of my friends started talking about it when she was around. I told her later that I invited too many people and that there isn't enough space to accommodate her, but I feel like that is a bad excuse. Are there any suggestions about how to handle this better in the future or how I can feel better about not inviting her? |
Question: Not sure if I was raped...? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 04:03 PM PDT I have this friend we are so close but we kind of like each other, we have hooked up a few times before but never had sex. Tonight we were fooling around and one thing led to another and we started having sex. However, I looked at his face and it made me feel like I was nothing and that I could have been absolutely anyone to him. I pushed him away to make him twice because it didn't feel right and I didn't want to anymore, but after both times he went in again. Only when I said the word stop did he stop doing it. There's a lump in my throat and i left his house and when I got home I felt like i needed to wash myself. I care a lot about him and I just feel really guilty for making him feel bad when it was probably nothing and probably my fault. What do I do? |
Question: People say I sound mean or have an attitude when I speak? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 02:43 PM PDT Honestly, I've never noticed this. I never thought I was being rude to anyone when I'm talking to them, they say I sound attitudish. I don't mean to sound like that at all. How can I stop it? Isn't it just the way I speak? |
Question: I want to be her friend again. Please help?!?!?!!? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 02:43 PM PDT My name is Tyler and I had a bestfriend Jessica for almost 5 years, we had an amazing friendship But unfortunately everything came to an end back in March. We had a fight because she thought I had lied to her when I didn't. SHe told me to never speak to her again, but I kept trying to contact her to apologize to her, I sent her 2 long apology letters to her house and I even sent her roses. A few days later I had police 2 officers come to my house and asked me to leave her alone because she's had enough. We haven't talked since March and it's still bothering me alot, she blocked me from her Facebook and even her phone. Sometimes I feel like trying to talk to her 1 last time because I really miss her. It's been 7 months what should I doo please help???? Any advice would be helpful |
Question: Am I a bad friend? What should I do? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 02:31 PM PDT My friends Halloween party is this weekend, and I agreed to go. Only because I can't say no to people. But in reality I don't wanna go. My friend asked me to have a sleepover. I'd rather have a sleepover with her than go to the party. But I already committed to the first girl. I don't know what to do and I feel like crap:( |
Question: Am I the friend no one likes? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 01:30 PM PDT Recently I have been sad cuz I feel like my friends hate me. They never include me in inside jokes, I always have to include myself in basically anything unless it's physical plans ( I was raised to not invite urself ) They're always gossiping and talking about boys but there's way too much drama. No one wants to tell me anything and when I'm around them I feel like not myself. Even my parents says I need new friends. Am I the problem? How do I fix this? How do i make more friends? |

Question: Am I overreacting to what she said about me? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 01:19 PM PDT I never go out with my friend because she hangs out with two people who I am not friends with. Today I did not have lunch so I told my friend that I'll go with them since her friend even asked me couple times. So we are in the medical program and I am struggling with my classes. Her friend is also struggling with the class. Today her friend was talking to me while all of us were in the car saying "Girl, you need to complete these assignments, you behind everyone. I am behind but not that behind, I am getting caught up. Even though I am caught up, I am still struggling so you need to focus on completing these." Today I am on my period so I don't know if I am overreacting to these comments of hers. I never go out with them and this is going to be my first and last going out with them. I stopped hanging out with my friend because of them. Am I overreacting to her statements? first of all, I don't need her advice. And if I am struggling in my classes, I don't need to hear ONE word from another whose also struggling and acting they are better than me |
Question: So I need some advice.? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 01:08 PM PDT My friend and I, I'll call her Mary, have been friends for a few weeks now. We're in college and moved off campus the other day. We get along really well, but lately I can't help but be overly annoyed about small things she does. She's a lot wealthier than I am, so I think part of it is me stereotyping. She does like to lend money and always offers to pay for things for me. A part of me is a little offended, but I know that she doesn't see me as being inferior to her. She is just trying to be nice. Also, she has more clothes and needs more closet space, which is fine because I don't need it and we still have extra room. Sometimes I feel like she always have to have things her way, even though she wanted to rent out our living room and I said I didn't want to and she said ok and we aren't renting it out because I didn't want to. I guess I just feel like she's one of those spoiled rich kids sometimes, but she doesn't really have that attitude. As soon as I start getting close to someone, it's like I stop liking them for one reason or another. I really try to accept people's flaws though, but have trouble sometimes. How do I change this? I don't want us to drift apart. |

Question: Is this a depression? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 12:24 PM PDT Well I'm 25 yo guy. Still in college because of some issues that forced me to drop some semesters. But lately I don't feel that i'm willing to live no more. I'm not willing to wake up, go to college, go to work or meet my friends. I lost a lot of friends because of my rude behavior and i sleep a lot like 13–15 hrs a day. Now I'm really worried that my college dismisses me or i loose my job. I sit alone most of the time even though I'm really entertaining guy to set with and funny. But i keep pushing people away the moment i feel that they will be part of my life. Now i completed six weeks i barely wake up and barely go to college or work. I'm worried 24/7 and since I'm a smoker, i smoke a lot lately. I don't have hobbies or the energy to do anything. If I didn't get a solution I'm afraid of ending up homeless and broken. Thank you for your time |
Question: How to tell my friend she's rude? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 12:11 PM PDT Only around my other friend SOMETIMES. My and my other friends notice when they're together they're rude and loud and annoying. (They're not always like this btw) |

Question: Girl spends lunch break in the bathroom stall...? What is wrong with her? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 10:27 AM PDT I'm in 9th grade and there is this awkward girl in my class. She never sits with us during lunch break but instead she always sits alone in the bathroom stall the whole time! And yes, really always. Another girl even said she heard her eating something there! Ewww, why would you do that? I mean it's all dirty and unhygienic there and not comfortable at all. Just thinking about eating something at a place where someone else could have pooped a few minutes before makes me wanna puke. She's so disgusting! And she's also weird in general, like she has no friends and sometimes I really have to ask myself if she is able to talk because she almost never says a word. She's acting so weird I wonder if she is even a normal human being. Why is she like that!? |
Question: My roommate and her boyfriend are ALWAYS at our apartment? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 10:13 AM PDT her boyfriend lives in an apartment down the hall. apparently they can't go there because my roommate prefers to be in her own room. they are ALWAYS there, every single night. they never go to his place or even so much as go out to dinner or a movie so i have the apartment for a while my boyfriend and I spend evenings at his place and we also spend evenings out doing things so I don't think it's far. when we do spend the evening at my apartment, my roommate complains that we talk to loud or he leaves too early in the morning and otherwise disturbs her. but i don't think there's any room for her to complain. it's just awkward because our rooms our RIGHT next to each other and the walls are thin, so i've heard them argue loudly and have sex loudly, both of which make me and my boyfriend uncomfortable but i've never complained to her about it is there a nice way to ask if we can have the apartment to ourselves sometime? i would gladly do the same for her! am i being unreasonable? |

Question: Am I being a bad friend? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 08:35 AM PDT My friend agreed to watch my three year old daughter five days a week, 4 hours a day, for $50 a week. I asked her to take her over night last night and I said I'd throw extra cash at her when I pay her Friday. I did tell her I wanted to sleep but She found out from my husband that I ended up going to another friends house around 11pm but they we're sleeping so I bought snacks and went home. She was mad because "I lied" but she's getting paid so who cares? |
Question: Did she leave the photo in the phone unpurposely? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 08:02 AM PDT I bought a cellular phone from my older cousin and she erased all her stuff from it, except one photo. The photo was of her booty, wearing a lingerie underwear. I wanted to erase it but I couldnt and I got off to it many times. A few weeks later she asked me to lend her the phone and she did something. When i went to the photo gallery and checked, I found that she deleted the photo. Do you think that she really forgot to delete that one photo, or she left it there unpurposely? |

Question: My friend never answers my texts. Should I answer his? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 06:33 AM PDT My best friend, who now lives a few states away, has a reputation of not texting back. When I brought this problematic trait up to him a month or two ago, he openly admitted to "not take it personally because he ignores everyone s texts." Now, i have been ignoring him over social media these past few days, and needless to say, he has done the same. Last night, I got some texts from him. I know he expects me to respond, because I am known to him as a person who always does the "nice" thing, and I do not leave people hanging. Well, I really do not appreciate having to constantly be the one maintaining the long-distance friendship, since he does not seem to care about texting back, and does not return my calls. I know that if I were to say "I don t want to text you anymore because you never text back," he would flip it on me, and call me "sensitive." That, or he would just not respond to me. How should I handle this situation? We are both in our 20 s. |
Question: Will he still want sex with me? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 04:57 AM PDT The last time I had sex with this guy was in July. A few days ago he sent me videos of him masturbating. I won't be able to hookup with him again until January or Feburary. Do you think he'll still want sex with me? |

Posted: 23 Oct 2017 03:14 AM PDT My sister has dyspraxia and a few other common educational issues. Since she was about 16 she's started compulsively lying, and we put it down to her being friends with a girl who also had issues, and constantly made my sister be secretive. The lying has progressed to serious affects, and she's started telling people lies such as she's pregnant. She even told a teacher in her school. Does anyone know are there any good ways to stop someone from lying, or who would you go in the professional sector to get her to talk to that would stop her? |

Question: Middle School Girl Fight. (Long)? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 02:54 AM PDT This chick who used to be my bestfriend is now trying to Jump me. I don't know why I've stayed her friend. This is the whole story: Since 5th (now 7th) she's (I'm going to call her AJ) been talking crap, saying sorry and becoming friends again, EVERY SINGLE MONTH!!! At the start of 6th she was real close with me, she got a boyfriend (he's not why she's gonna fight me) and they were even more close. Then, they broke up about a week later, This other chick (let's call her April) got with him, April told AJ "Why the Fvck would you talk to my bf like that, HE'S MINE, imma fvck you up punk" (over text). The next day AJ confronted April and said "Don't talk crap about me, I have people, you small as shlt, I'll drag AND smash you", then they agreed to fight at the field by the school after school got out. I was waiting with AJ because I was her friend at the time, but I wasn't going to jump in like she wanted me to. She didnt show up, as we waited for 20 minutes, while we were heading to the store (Walmart lmao), April tried to run up on her, with a HUGE amount of people behind her, high schoolers and everything. The started fighting but then some parent stopped the gay fight (just hair pulling). The next week |
Question: If someone shuns a person does that mean they never really cared about them? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 02:05 AM PDT someone I considered a close online friend got mad at me and has shunned me and wants nothing to do with me now. we have been close online friends for 1 1/2 years. It was my fault but i apologized over and over but he wont acknowledge me now and the last thing he said to me was " i officially give up on you". he wants nothing more to do with me. I feel very sad and I miss him!! So does this mean he probably never really cared about me to begin with if he can forget about me so easily? tks in advance for any advice on this. I will choose a best answer. |
Question: What to do about my clingy friend? Posted: 23 Oct 2017 01:49 AM PDT I have this friend whom I haven't spoken to for two years suddenly pops up on my Facebook message this past month. We talked and catch up on things and I thought things were going to be causal after that. Meaning hit each other up every once in a while. Well, now he calls, message me everyday on Facebook message out of all the hours of the day, night, midnight. He usually calls me then hangs up then text me "hey can i call U?" then calls me again before me answering anything to him. Or he just ends up message me a lot, EVERYDAY. Even though i have been friends with him for such a long time i am NOT truly comfortable conversing with him everyday. I want to tell him how i feel but the timing is not right. His sister moved out and he is sad because he doesn't have real good friends. I am also angry at him and the reason why was because he disappeared on me when i needed him. I was also in a rough period (a break up) and i wanted someone (a friend) to be there for me, he didn't. He just left me for two years. I know he clings to me because it's convenient to him and that what is upsetting me. Right now it's 1 AM and I awoken by his message notification saying "hey i can't sleep". I'm afraid if i answer his text, msgs, he will call me because that's what he usually does. Lately, I have been ignoring his text, calls, msgs. I've also tried to become less available, saying I'm busy, give him hints, or just ignore him but he does not get it!! What do with my friend being so clingy? (Btw for those of you who thinks that he is doing this because he likes me or has a crush on me, well, he is gay and has a boyfriend) |
Question: Should I just fight my bully? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 11:52 PM PDT I'm trying my best to ignore them, but they keep poking me and touching me agressively, like pinch my face and pull my hair. I don't say anything to them and have not reported it. I want to jut hit them hard sometimes. Should I just do it?? I'm in high school. |
Question: My friend turned into a douchebag? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 11:12 PM PDT He used to be a really cool guy and we got along really well. But for the past few years since he went away to college, he's been steadily transforming into a douchebag. He makes off the cuff backhanded comments to try and look cool and overall behaves like an asshole. I used to enjoy hanging out with him but anymore I just get really annoyed and sometimes I even feel like he's trying to tear me down. It's totally unlike him to behave like this. Should I ask him about it, or just stop talking to him all together? |
Question: Would you stop being friends with someone over this? Please read!!? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 10:28 PM PDT Ok so, my boyfriend supposedly tried having sex with my EX best friend a long time ago, back when me and him first started talking but she just told me about a year ago and me and him have been together about 3 years. Well recently me and him got into a huge fight and i kicked him out my house. Hours later my ex friends ex boyfriend called me saying that he stopped by my ex best friends house to say hi, and when he knocked on the door the door opened by itself and he saw my boyfriend pulling up his pants while my friend was on the couch lookin crazy. They both swear they werent doing anything cause her kids were in the house and that my boyfriend always pulls his pants up cause he's skinny and her ex took it the wrong way. The thing is i dont like my boyfriens around her cause although he denies ever trying to sleep with her, i know he has made advances. her ex boyfriend calls me early the next morning and told me he thinks my boyfriend spent the night at her house. So i made a surprise visit to her house at like 6 in the morning, and when i asked her if he was in the house she said no. When i kept questioning her she kept acting more nervous and when i asked if i could look in her house she said no. She then tried to tell me that he was there the day before but she thinks he left sometime in the night out the back door. So eventually after i kept bugging her she let me in and there he was sleeping on the floor, and i have been told by people that they have had sex. |

I don t really have social media, so there aren t that many pictures of me online, let alone flattering ones. But one of my friends posted the most disgusting unflattering picture of me online and no mater how many times I ask her she won t take it down. It s a picture that I hate with a passion and I really hate that everyone will only know me by that one unflattering photo. I really don t know what to do. I m so insecure about my appearance and she knows that s why I don t have any social media. But now everyone has seen that one ugly picture of me, the only picture of me online. What do I do because she won t take it down and this is really impacting me? |
Question: Should I leave my friend? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:43 PM PDT So me and my friend were great friends in the beginning of last summer but lately it seems she doesn't want to be friends anymore. I ask her to hang out and she makes up a lame excuse and then go and hangs out with her other friends. When are together she talks to me a lot but when her other friends are there she's only with them and ignores me. Idk if I should just stop being her friend because she was a really great friend and I'll have to be seeing her every week until summer 2018 so idk what I should do. If I was to talk to her it about it it would be inappropriate if I did at our group since we learn school subjects and aren't really supposed to be discussing personal things. I'm really awkward in calls and if I just texted her idk if she would respond. Please help. |
Question: Is it disrespectful to let my lady friend see me in my underwear? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:41 PM PDT My best female friend has a key to my place and comes and goes as she pleases. One day she walked in and I was only wearing briefs. After talking she said "i don't mind tighty whiteys but for some reason it would make me uncomfortable seeing you in boxers" so now i don't worry about being in my underwear but a neighbor said I am disrespecting her. |

Question: Is it wrong to be a bit jealous of my best friend because they have a nice mother? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:31 PM PDT I slept over at my friends house and I met their mother. Their mother was one of the nicest people I've met so far. They had such a sweet demeanor, she was always open to talk about anything and she's very funny and I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of my best friend. My mom is loving but she's never really there for me because of work and so I have to take care of myself sometimes. I love her but I can never really open up to her about anything because she's very over religious and ignores my emotions and doesn't take me to therapy, rather make me go to church. She also tends to put religion before me and my sisters sometimes. I can't trust her with anything, but with my best friends mom, I'd tell her anything in a heartbeat. |

Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:18 PM PDT I have a long history with a girl in scouts. We were friends when we were Cubs. She was better than me, very bossy and competitive. I was honoured to be under her wing. I moved up to Scouts a year before her, and met a shy girl that was a huge anime nerd. We were friends and discussed anime. The next year, my rival became a Scout. My friend and I weren't good enough for her and the kids who were honoured to be her friends. I tried to make things work between us: we used to be friends, after all. It didn't work, and she bullied us to be cooler. From then on, I competed with her on everything. She was superior, but not much: I won enough to really get under her skin. She doubled down on the bullying. We chased each other to Service Corps training camp and both made it in. She stopped bullying at that point. She asserted her dominance at any opportunity, but Service Corps is a team, and people we dearly wanted to impress. I wasn't cut out for Service Corps. My two years were painful. She was undoubtedly superior. I remember the day she whispered to me, "I think I've won now." There were no shows of dominance after that. I quit shortly after, and she didn't. Now I'm 17, she's 16, she's a Cub leader, I'm a Beaver leader. I can't take seeing her draw them all together to begin each meeting. I can never get my Beavers together, but they respect her a ton. Leading little kids is difficult to begin with, so going into each meeting drained is affecting my ability to lead. What do I do? |
Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:56 PM PDT So I live in a rich community. Everyone at my school seems to have a lot of friends and they seem to be really involved in school-related extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, I have some friends who I talk to, but I feel like I'm on the outside of my school's social circle. I've been in this community my entire life, so my identity as the shy girl has been set in stone at this point. I'll be in class and people will openly have a conversation with one another. Meanwhile, I'm awkwardly sitting in the corner. Watching them casually talk to each other makes me really lonely since I'd love to join in on their fun. I've recently changed a lot, and I am now a more sociable person. However, since I've always been that one shy girl it's really hard for me to connect with new people because I have 0 experience making new friends and everyone else treats conversations with me awkwardly to begin with. How can I break the ice and meet new people? |
Question: How did I hurt his feelings? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:56 PM PDT A guy told me I hunted his feelings because I deleted him from my fb... but he is not a close friend at all (he was my tutor for a semester) and I barely talk to him...We met today and when we were talking, he realized that I deleted him from fb. He said that I hurt his feeling. I am not sure how should i have responded? |
Question: Should I close my facebook account before my birthday? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:53 PM PDT So, I'm turning 22, I've lost all my friends from high school (nothing serious, just losing contact with each other over time) and have had trouble making new ones (thanks to my introverted lifestyle and social awkwardness). As positive and carefree about my loneliness as I seem to be for 364 days a year, my birthday happens to be the one day where my magical "I have no friends and I don't care!" attitude wears off.. and I get depressed, mainly because no one remembers my birthday or cares. I don't know why, but just the thought of not getting a single "happy birthday!" from anyone other than my parents just sends me into a repulsive roller coaster of depression and the weight of my loneliness sinks in. Each year, I saw less and lesser "happy birthday"s on my facebook account, and of course, this year I haven't been active on it at all. As pathetic as it sounds, I have a bad feeling I won't be remembered by anyone this year, despite facebook doing its habitual "letting every1 know that it's my birthday" thing. I hate it. And I'm thinking of deleting my facebook account before then, just to avoid facing that painful reminder of my true insignificance in this universe. but I'm torn between wanting to look at other people's feeds every now and then, or just deleting it and getting it all over with. My birthday is coming up a month from now, should I just delete it? As for presents, I'm naturally the only one who gifts myself, so no biggie. But the idea that no one else in this world remembers the day of my existence, that part just seems to hurt no matter how much I try to ignore it. |
Question: Do you ever get upset when people do something you said you wanted to do? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:32 PM PDT So I have this friend that always seems to either buy or do the stuff I want to do. Sometimes I know she does it to get on my nerves but other times it seems to be a complete coincidence. Here are some very recent examples of both. A couple days ago I was in a store shopping and the lady working at some very cute shoes. I told my mom and we were on the lookout. Well today I was at a party and saw that this friend had on the same shoes I wanted. Which means I can't get the shoes because she's one that would be ticked. That's a coincidence example. Here's the other. So I've been talking for a long time about cutting my hair short. It's been a year long conversation. At the party last night I mentioned that I'd be cutting my hair soon and was excited. Well today I get a private message from my friend saying she's cutting her hair very short. I am actually very upset. It seems silly but in high school it looks like your copying if you get the same haircut as your friend. I get that she may be interested too but it would've been so much better had she been talking about it too! But no she said nothing until today. And I also was looking forward to it kinda being a bigger deal with my friends because I've had long hair forever. Now the glory is going to be taken away and yes I know thats selfish but I don't get the glory very often. Am I just overreacting or do I have an excuse to be annoyed? |
Question: Can you snuggle your best friend of the same gender? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:26 PM PDT I just want to snuggle with my best friend. She's my favorite person. I know girl friend relationships are usually more close than guys'. |
