Question: Is it normal to dislike my dad? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 01:36 PM PDT My dad is a huge trump supporter, racist, and disrespectful to women. He is not mean to me but there are many things about him that I dislike. Am I wrong for this? |
Question: Help dad is cheating on my mom? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 01:34 PM PDT Alright so I'm only 13 ok and I love my dad a lot and my mom but for a while I've been noticing things on my dads phone like on eBay on his recently viewed items it was panties and stuff. Then on his texts to my aunt were a lot of weird things with like saying love u and heart faces. Also my aunt thinks her husband is cheating too because they want to get trackers for his car. And today his messages to my aunt are what time is ok to communicate with heart faces. So I'm worried and not sure if I should tell my mom this whole situation is messed up. |
Question: Have any of your family members embraced malignant and degenerate culture? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 01:04 PM PDT My sister did. Examples of cultural degeneracy pervading the nation: - Tattooing, piercing and other vile desecration of appearance. - Idolisation by the media of talentless, pathetic and obnoxious people. - Promotion of idiotic and vulgar behaviour - Promotion of LGBT culture (Disapproving of this is not inherently homophobic. For example, just see Gay Pride parades. Why can some people not just be homosexual and live their lives normally? Why do they need to have such wild and unpleasant exhibitions? Homosexual conduct is considered nauseating and indecent by many.) - Promotion of ethnic heterogeneity (Disapproving of is not inherently racist, survival and maintaining demographic invulnerability are imperatives after all. We have seen what the alternative is) - Promotion of selfish individualism - Promotion of materialism - Excessive alcohol consumption and its acceptance as the norm. - The greater value on emphasis on emotions rather than facts - Simplistic and vulgar humour - Poor parenting - Erosion of the family unit The list can continue, but the point has been sufficiently made. |
Question: How do I tell if my parents are getting a divorce? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:43 PM PDT Since we moved out of my house which was 6 years my parents haven't been happy with each other. But recently my parents have been talking to lawyers about "money stuff" which I feel tears them apart. They sleep in the same bed everyday and stuff. However, my dad literally said to me just moments ago that he and my mom are not happy. Even though my mom wasn't there. But my dad can be crazy sometimes and he is very bipolar. So can my parents be getting a divorce. |
Question: How do I make my mom forgive me? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:39 PM PDT 5 days ago I stole money from my mom as she was at work, I grabbed them from the place she hid them. It was easy finding the money... I wanted to buy a thing for myself that I knew she'd say no so I grabbed a little of the money. 2 days after, she finds out about what I have done. After school, we talk about it and since then she's been constantly been telling me she cant trust me, that I'm useless, and she's been overall mean and angry at me all the time. Can I find a way to apologize and regain her trust? At first when we started talking about it I couldn't bring myself to say anything and I was like a mute for about an hour. She's passive-agressive at some moments, but mostly agressive. I just want to find a way to explain her that I knew she'd say no, and that I really wanted it without sounding like a little kid finding excuses to buy dumb ****. Any actual help is very appreciated. |
Question: Should a 20 year old be serious about working/keeping a job.? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:24 PM PDT Im 20 years old and a full time college student. I don't like working. In the past year I have had atleast 3 jobs. I get aggravated FAST. I just rather go to school then work is that bad? |
Question: My mom doesn't care if I get hurt? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:16 PM PDT I just hit my head on the table really hard and its still throbbing after an hour. I told my mom and she told me to stay our of the living room since I can't walk correctly then she hubg up. About a few years ago I burnt my arm and my whole arm turned red and she said she wasn't going to take me to the hospital because she's been drinking and she doesn't want to go to jail .. What? The same thing happened when j scratched my leg against some metal and half of my left turned green she said she wasn't going to take me because she smells like beer. She cares about going to jail but I can die from all of this I'm suprised I haven't already tbh all she cares about is herself. When I try to talk to her about it she calls me ungrateful and how people have it worse. What should I do? Because she clearly isn't helping |
Question: How do you keep your sanity when people don't understand the word "no"? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:08 PM PDT I know it's all about boundaries and I usually don't have a problem saying, "no" respectfully - this situation is with a family who has no sense of boundaries or respect while continuing to enable unhealthy behavior. My finance's sister has an aggressive-bully type personality. No one can ever tell her the word, "no"- they just lead her on and until they passively reject her. She texted us in the family saying that her and her husband booked a large room on their vacation (fits 8) and want people to join them. This is booked in December and she asked us In mid October. I think it's a lot to ask someone to go on vacation, too soon. I'm in grad school too & I don't have the money to just spend on someone's whim. I only have so much vacation time. My fiancé and I have other plans of traveling we want to save up and do next year. Also, we have never gotten along. With her new husband, I have another person on my back I need to protect myself from. Of course, the people in the text lead her on and passively rejected the idea. And of course, she kept bugging my fiancé and I non-stop about it - "why don't you wanna go? It'll be fun! What vacation? Wait, where are you going on vacation anyway? If you're going there, it's not gonna cost that much for you guys to come with us!" I know it's his sister so he deals w her. So despite her lack of manners, this is MY problem, I need to figure out. She won't stop bugging us until she gets a "yes". I know fiance won't give in but it's annoying Also, couldn't she just cancel and find another place to stay? Or maybe it's just too late and just wants people to go with them to make up for it financially. Either way, I just want to say, "hey lady - what was our answer the first time? Your pestering is not going to help your case. And why would you want to go on vacation when you've been mean and passive-egressive to me all these years?" Actually, I do know. She's been pushing her brothers to bond with her husband. The perk of "male bonding" includes her mission of isolating me from the family further. Her husband never had a problem with me when we first met and suddenly he hates me, even though I've never really interacted with him. Okay. |
Question: Is my uncle allowed to do this? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:06 PM PDT I'm a high school student (still an minor). I live with my aunt, uncle, and grandma. My grandma is my guardian, not my aunt or uncle. I bought a new phone with my own money. My uncle takes my phone when I get grounded. Sometimes he goes through it. Is he allowed to do this? |
Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:01 PM PDT When I say "the next relative" i mean uncle or aunt. That's what kids do, because the aunt/uncle is gonna be spending his/her money on his or her brother/sister's kid. People in this world need to have something for themselves cause they really do not have time to look after somebody elses kid when they should be the ones that's taking care of their own kids that they are bring into this world? |
Question: How do I go about my living situation at 19 after my mother just died of cancer...steps? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 12:00 PM PDT My mother died on the 13th of last month..she was only 45 she didn t have any life insurance and she had financial assistance ever since she got sick now I m left to try and pay for a 3 bedroom apartment that we ve lived in for almost 9 years |
Question: My father still tries to control my life at 30 years old and in married with children? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 11:28 AM PDT He tells me what houses I can or can't look to buy, tells me where I have to live, tells me what jobs I can or can't do, tells me what I have to do with my children, tells me what I can or can't spend my own money on, tries to control what I do with my free time with my wife and kids, I've caught him spying on me and my family, he says he wants to cut my grass for me, wants to buy our families groceries for us, it's literally insane and driving me crazy. He has no life except to pester me and control my every waking moment with my wife and kids Me and my wife have moved twice to try and get farther away from his controlling behavior, but he's followed me each time I've moved and he moved nearby us |

Question: I seriously dislike my younger sister.? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 10:46 AM PDT I know that it s not right but i genuinely dislike my younger sister. I m 16 and she is 10. She acts much older than 10 though. Writing a list of all of the things she does would take forever but i ll try to paraphrase. Basically, she is a little spoiled brat. She is really overweight for her age yet does nothing to improve her health. She throws a fit when she doesn t get food that she likes. She eats absolutely NOTHING healthy and doesn t excersize. She can even fit into my clothes and i m 16 years old. She always steals my clothes and when she s done wearing them, she throws them on the floor in her room and i can t find them. She steals my jewelry and loses it. She s ruined my makeup, my expensive art supplies and torn up many of my shirts. She has absolutely no respect for me or my belongings. She treats my parents badly and throws fits daily. If I go to pick up my friends or something and she s with me she will always find a way to embarrass me. She s loud and touchy towards everyone. Recently, she was diagnosed with anxiety. I felt bad for her because i too struggle with it. But, like she does with everything else, she uses it as an excuse to get what she wants and be even more of a brat. She always wants to be the center of attention. She started cutting her arms and i KNOW that it is for attention. She always calls me names and makes fun of me for doing things but she goes and does things similar to me. I don t want to say that I hate her but i don t know what to do. |
Question: Can I tell the police that my sister won t let my mum have her debit card? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 10:45 AM PDT Basically, my mum was in a mental hospital for psychosis. I needed clothes for school so I asked if I could borrow her debit card to get money out of the bank. I went to see her in hospital and she said I could have £200. My sister found out about this and was very upset. She took my mum s debit card off of her and refuses to give it back. I ve told her that if she doesn t that I ll tell the police and she just laughed. My mum has to go up to my sister s house every time she wants money. Can I file a police report about this? I m 15 by the way. username_hidden I've told my mum to get a new card, I don't know why she won't, something to do with her condition I suppose. NEVER SUBMIT........ to evil If I have to wait until I'm 16 to file a report myself, could I get my dad to do it for me? |

Posted: 22 Oct 2017 10:21 AM PDT I am the last son in the family and twin to a sister only. We are totally 8 kids. My oldest bro could not give birth by his family due to medical reason baron.. Only one brother of me has more than 1 kid, one is still getting married. That 3 kids is highest count of children in our family. One sister is 2 and others all 1 kid (except 1 didn't finish marrying yet). The bro who has 3 has not much opposition to having many kids, I think at most one other is so, at most.. I was raised differently. I was the most shy person, I was raised with Jewish friends in Hollywood virtually and read Torah. Additionally, I was not smart in some aspects like them, so, I was happy of many children in my life. It was a kind of WE and some also Different from others. I still have that difference feeling, and think that I also pursue like Torah forbids less kids and birth control if there is no problem. My grandpa was seemingly Jewish, too... One youngest brother of me (older than me) was criticizing clerics for misleading people in past in Iran for having many kids.. But my question: Are my siblings really smarter? Or why am I different from them in thinking? More Children not that bad based on Torah. I believe it. Thanks! |
Question: Is what my brother told me true? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:51 AM PDT I accidentally caught my little brother j - - king off. He told me he read in the Weekly World News that each time he did that, it raised his IQ. Could that be possible or is he feeding me a line of bull? If it is true, he is going to be a genius. Could this be why he is so smart? |
Question: Please help me explain something to my cousin? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:30 AM PDT I'm 14 and My cousin is 9. My whole family is here as my birthday is tomorrow I'm turning 15 (23rd Oct). So all my cousins went swimming. When we came back, we went to change in my bedroom so me and my 10 year old cousin were in my room. We both took our speedo off and suddenly I heard him asking me why I have hair on my penis and why it's so much bigger than his, obviously being a teenager I got hard when he started pointing stuff out about my penis... so he then asks why my penis is hard... I told him I'll explain after dinner... I know the answer is puberty but how can I explain it to my 9 year old cousin without creeping him out... |
Question: Should I invite jealous sister to house warming party? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 09:29 AM PDT I just purchased my first home, and my older sister is jealous and upset. I invited her and my parents over and the entire time she was there, she made rude comments. She started saying how she was planning to buy a nicer house in a better neighborhood. I will be inviting friends and family for a housewarming party but I don't want her to ruin the experience. Should I invite her anyway? |
Question: Parents Crash Wedding? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:46 AM PDT I'm worried my parents will find out through family when and where my wedding will be and will arrive, uninvited, and ruin the big day. We'd like a small wedding with immediate family (in this case, family we are close to and see on a regular basis) and childhood friends only. We don't want my parents or my brother in our life because they are toxic monsters who make us feel unwelcome. We are thinking of having an outdoor wedding. Can anyone just stand around/show up uninvited and not have to leave when asked or can we have them removed until the event is finished (involve police?)? Thanks! :D |

Question: Why to do about dad that doesn't apologize? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 08:27 AM PDT I'm an adult and not perfect. I feel that dad hates his son. He has always treated my sister better. If I was to apologize about something, and might not have felt I should have, he wouldn't apologize. Also he blames me for everything. I deal with depression and anxiety, and i could say I would kill myself and he would not be concern. What to do? |

Question: Parents choosing my gcse options. Is it bad? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 07:55 AM PDT I am a 13 year old girl and i have to decide my gcse options. My sister chose them when she was 15 so there is more pressure on me since she refused to be a doctor. To be honsest i dont mind i just want a well paying job. I am great in studies and i can choose most subjects. The problem is most of the subjects my mum wants me to take i hate. I really want to take drama art and ICT but she says its a waste of time. What should i do? I really am okay with being a doctor but i want to do it on my terms. Do something i enjoy Ive already had a conversation with my mum and it just ended in her making me feel like nothing. Its like talking to a brick wall. The main problem is my sister dropped art cuz it was "too hard" and i dont know what to do. Please help. |

Question: Being with him is breaking my mother’s heart? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 07:46 AM PDT I'm 19 and my parents absolutely hate the man I'm seeing. Hate him. I have an absolutely amazing relationship with him, although he's 28, and they are in complete denial that I'm with him. My parents are 10 years apart as well, but they have assumptions (which is understandable). However, my simple friendship with him has caused such a strain on our relationship, that my mother begs me to get him out of my life and cries constantly. They've kicked me out once already, and are telling me if he isn't gone, they refuse to pay for my college tuition and I'm this being forced to work 60 hours a week to save money to pay for myself, to buy a car, and to move out. This is absolutely killing me inside, and I don't know how to compromise. He's very understanding, and agreed to do what he needs to in order for me to keep my support, but ending things with him due to their negative attitudes is not, in any way, what I'm choosing to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

Question: How to deal with nagging mom? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 07:27 AM PDT My mom has recently moved in with me and constantly nags me about the way I do things in my house. Examples: 1. Complains that I am not washing dishes the correct way or using a dish washer correctly. 2. Complains that I eat too much and about what I cook for dinner. She keeps a log of everything I eat and tries to shame me. I am not overweight. 3. Complains that I don't clean the floors multiple times a week. 4. Insists that I will break household applicances because I am using them wrong. 5. Constantly says that I'm being distrespectul when I am talking to her 6. Tells me snike remarks like: "some people shouldn't own a house" or "the Lord gives it and he takes it away." 7. Reads my mail and financial statements, counsels me about spending, and tells my business to family members to "show how irresponsible I am." |
Question: Is it possible for a mother to be jealous of her own daughter? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 07:16 AM PDT I am 22 years old and every time I talk to my mom or when I'm around her she constantly puts me down and makes criticizing remarks regarding my personality and body. Now that I'm older I'm not bothered by it because I've been living on my own four years now. Everytime I accomplish something good she'll congratulate me but then find something negative to say. It hurts so bad sometimes to the point where I can't be around her. |
Posted: 22 Oct 2017 07:03 AM PDT I'm the first one he's asked to marry him but for some reason when I found out the number of women he's slept with it turned me off to him. Question: Was I illegally evicted? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 06:27 AM PDT I have been living in a NYCHA apartment with my mother for several years. Each year I am given a lease to sign but this year I didn t get the lease. Well yesterday I went out and cane back home and realized my ice cream was gome. I asked my mother did she eat it and she got nasty with me saying she didn t. It was my sister who is much older than me who are it. Now she has been eating my food for the longest. I work and it s hard for me, I struggle. I got upset and I said you all don t have respect for me or in this house. There has also been an issue with my nephew and him not listening and me trying to get him to stay in the house so that causes problems. He is 12. My mother called the police and they came and told me I had 10 min to get my stuff and get out. I said I m on the lease and they said as of August 1 your not. This entire time I never knew she removed me from the lease. What can I do, I am currently homeless this all happened yesterday? |

Question: Am I being cruel to my little sister? Posted: 22 Oct 2017 02:20 AM PDT So my little sister who is fourteen has been begging to spend the night at my apartment. I am 19 and in college. My mom thought it was a wonderful idea thinking we would get along better. She then brings a cat which my apartment has a no pet policy. So I am making her stay up all night and take care of it because I don't think it's fair to me. It has been destroying my stuff since it got here. I don't want it to destroy anything in my apartment since I will have to pay for it. So every time she falls asleep I wake her up and tell her it's her responsibility to take care of the cat. No she did not bring a cage or a kennel. She brought her in a backpack to sneak her in with nothing to take care of her. Ps. My roommate does not know about it yet. |

Question: Help, my brother is out of control?!? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 10:57 PM PDT I'm crying in my room right now and I don't know what to do. I also have depression and it's making it way worse. My puppy peed in the kitchen and I was about to clean it up, he got angry. He cussed at me so much and I did too because I wasn't going to let him call me all of this stuff. He kept getting angrier when I called him stuff. It was horrible, our relationship hasn't ever been good. He's done this a lot in the past and I always just cry myself to sleep or something but my mom isn't home Right now and I'm actually afraid and crying. He came and threw all of my stuff off of my desk and threw me to the floor while I was holding my puppy. He's also hit my puppy in the past, I went to the vet and one time it was so bad. I'd rather be hit than my own puppy. He has anger issues and my mom just thinks this is how siblings are because he always sweetens up to her. I'm crying and he's just in the living room talking about me badly to my younger siblings. I wanna kill myself. |

Question: How do decipline teen boys for fighting?? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 10:17 PM PDT My teen boys (17 and 13) often fight wuth each other, they have for years but boe that they are a bit earlier they've actually been doing real damage. I tried to give them opportunities tobeork their differences out between them as a "Boy will be boy" position. But they have gotten out of hand, especially my younger son bc he takes advantage of the fact that my older son will take it easy on him so to speak. I'm fact my 17y/o has been hospitalized after fights with his brother. My 13y/o has hit him over the head with something and knocked him unconscious, he's dislocated his shoulder and gotten him countless stiches. I feel like my house is a war zone sometimes and don't know what to do. Their father isn't in the picture. |

Question: What legal actions can i take against my sisiter? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 10:05 PM PDT so earlier this year on Thursday June 8th i was assaulted by my sister. I was at my mother's house (my mom and dad are divorced) and i was eating cereal early in the morning in my brothers room. I was home with my sister (she is 20) her husband and my younger brother. she came in very mad. we got into and argument about eating cereal in my brother's room. she said that i was mooching(taking advantage and using) my mother ( i am 15). I then said she was using our mother. she then walked over to me and tried taking the bowl from me. i held onto the bowl so she pulled witch caused it to fall and break. she then slapped me( i had a broken leg with a cast on at the time) i stood up and told her not to do that again she then she then punched me in my face and grabbed the carton of milk and hit me with it. she repeatedly slapped, punched, and scratched me but i did not hit her back at all. the only time she got injured was by stepping on glass that she broke. i then pretended to fall on the floor near my door and pretended to hurt my leg that was broken at the time. so my dad took me to his apartment then we field a police report. |
Question: What would you do in this situation? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 09:43 PM PDT Our family was recently illegally evicted from our apartment and put out into the street. We were provided emergency housing for about a month for our family of 3 . However once we arrived at ny brotherinlaws home. His wife was not very hospitable to us. We felt very unwelcome and were relieved when we found a new apt to live in . Its been a year now and I just found a new job and would like to pay them 1500 for our stay there. I think its the right thing to do. My husband says no. But the wife basically told us to leave. What would you do? Pay her or just let it go? |
Question: How can i stop my sister from being a pornstar? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 09:18 PM PDT Ok, my sister is 17 and she says she wants to be a pornstar. Is that weird? I mean, why would you want to be used like that? I understand you make alot of money but, why can't she just go to school like i'm planning to do? Our mom doesn't know but, i'm thinking about telling her if she doesn't change her mind because, that's nasty. She's a cute girl & she said she wants a career. That's not a career, I mean it is but she can do better. She's a virgin by the way. Should I tell my mom or leave it alone? Here's a picture of her. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/fr/cp0/e15/q65/10991409_865438910168917_3568486665645737119_n.jpg?efg=eyJpIjoidCJ9&oh=aed0f5bb0b359e11ea976b98274474f2&oe=5A742767 https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/fr/cp0/e15/q65/11701231_950059231706884_3330253539834779308_n.jpg?efg=eyJpIjoidCJ9&oh=29ebad3d251365c0942a52f366acb496&oe=5A77EC0A |

Posted: 21 Oct 2017 09:15 PM PDT (Before I start , I don't want to hear about how I'm young and I shouldn't mess my life up , I'm mature and well aware of what could happen . I just need advice on this ) Okay , I am 16 about to be 17 in January . I have a really rough time at home . My parents are really mentally abusive , everyone in my family knows . I cannot stay here any more it is horrible and. They just generally make me hate life . I have tried to get emancipated , didn't have the courage because it would not work . I have had child services over there (to live with my grandma) and my step dad is a pothead and drunk . They are broke , never had money . My mom is a recovering drug addict (Xanax , Percy's, etc.) she is mentally unstable , all they do is take their rage out on me and my sister . Well basically I have this 23 year old girlfriend (sounds weird at first, I know ) but she's on the same maturity level as me . And we've been dating for over a year (met at work) I'm just wondering how Can I live with her ? She gives me everything I need emotionally and physically . And she makes me want better in life . At home I just hate being here and don't even want to go to school because of all the drama here . I have tried living with other family members , so that's not an option . I just need to know do I have to be 17 or older ? I cannot stay in such a draining environment . It sucks the life out of me . I want to live with her (not just because we date) but because it would honestly be the best thing for me . How Can I do this legally ? My parents have said I can't leave until I'm 18 and there is no way I'm waiting a year and 3 months In this misery . Somebody please help me . ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.0.03 |

Question: Is this fair to you? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:55 PM PDT A few times a week, I have to wash dishes. (I'm 14 years old.) I live with my family of 10 people. My sisters and I are the only ones that have to wash dishes. My aunt's kids (who are younger than me. Just a few years younger) don't have to wash dishes. They never do anything. I moved in with my aunt and uncle a few years ago. They started making me wash dishes when I was 11.(my sisters were 15 at the time) Do you think it's fair for me to have to wash dishes many times a week in a house of 10 people? And that my cousins don't have to clean but my sisters and I do? |
Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:53 PM PDT He won't apply for any jobs and he doesn't know what he wants to do. He went to college for painting, but he has lot his passion for that lately. He has his grandpa's inheritance, and he's been using that to pay for his rent, but it's running out. How can I help him? I've suggested he try therapy and even given him some referrals for therapists, but he doesn't want to go. Is running out of our grandpa's inheritance the only thing that will get him out of the house/to find a job? Any articles or links to informative websites would be super helpful as well! Thanks :) |
Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:13 PM PDT So like 2 and a half years ago I caught my dad drinking in the car while driving and I told my mom ( they've been divorced since I was born) anyways I told my mom because I didn't know what to do not because I didn't want to ever see him again. In the long run it ended up costing my dad thousands of dollars you know in attorneys fines even tho he's super rich but he did not go to jail which I am glad. For about a year and a half now he picks me up about every Sunday for chruch now then drops me back off so I get to see him like 4 hr a week at most. About half the Sundays he's out of town road racing motorcycles ( legally tho) . So half the Sunday's I don't even get to see him. My mom has offered him if he wants to spend the night with me a night but he said he's not comfortable. This was a few months ago tho but he doesn't act uncomfortable around me when I am with him. He lives a mile at most from me his house is within walking distance yet he makes no effort to see me besides chruch. What should I do I want more than chruch once a week with my dad for rest of my childhood. Is he waiting for me to make the first move. I am 15. When I told my mom I was 13 is he just scared to make a move or does he want nothing to do with me. He treats me just fine almost like we use to be when I am around him like he has nothing aginst me. How do I get my dad back should I say something to him. Or just have my mom text him saying ur son really misses u. |
Question: My mother is punishing me for the dumbest reason.? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 08:11 PM PDT ok so I'm in college and ever since I started my mom has just been plain mean to me for no reason. Well today I had to take my car to get a part replaced but I was with a friend so my mother offered to go with my step dad to get it when it was done. well I had plans to go eat breakfast with my friend before he left to go back to his college. my mother knowing this decides to use it to her advantage and decided she wants to chew me out for only having a quarter of a tank of gas in my car. legit something so small and stupid she makes into a big deal and tells me I have to drop everything I'm doing to come home and that I can't go hang with him tomorrow. is this not complete bs? honestly I don't know any parent who would punish over this crap |
Question: I don’t fit with the family? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:56 PM PDT I love my family, I really do. But lately, I feel like I'm more of an obligation to them. To be checked in on to see if I'm still alive. An asset for my own sibling to help save money on paying bills. And overall just the alien to them. I'm a shy, home body, nerd in a family of outgoing people. I have a low self confidence bar and sometimes the comments they say can hit it even lower without them realising and when I tell them that they just ask why or how and not really apologise for it. I noticed the change in family members when it came to me and my sister. My mother actually came to meet her during her birthday even though she lived in Alabama and we in Maryland and mine had passed just months before while we were living together. I thought that was odd but childish but I also realised I didn't even get a phone call from her. My grandparents even find more to talk about with her than me. My sister is nice to me but only because maybe I'm helping her save money on the apartment. But times she's really mean and cruel and shoots my self confidence down without even a second thought to what she says and it hurts. I try so hard to connect but I see it in their faces they don't want that from me. I don't know what to do. |
Question: Was my husband sexually molested? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:35 PM PDT I would like to know if these three scenarios are considered molestation: 1) When he was 14 years old, one evening, his father decided to "teach" him how to masturbate by giving my husband a hand job until reaching his first orgasm. As he was "teaching" him, he told my husband that it was okay to be horny about many things and said "for example, I m getting horny right now because I m masturbating you." 2) Sometime later, his father had my husband sleep with him during a weekend getaway on the same bed and decided at night to "teach" him once again about masturbation by creating a circle shape with his hand and telling my husband to insert his penis into it. 3) About a three years later, my husband was taking a nap and woke up to both of his parents "playing" with his pubic area because they wanted to "play" with his pubic hairs. My husband got very upset and told them not to touch him like that ever again. Some time later, he confronted them about them having done this and they both denied it. I m wondering is this is considered molestation or if this is truly how some families teach their children how to masturbate. To me it is clear sexual abuse and molestation but I want to make sure I m not overreacting. Thank you for any answers! Thank you for the answers so far. I just wanted to confirm as I don't have many people I can confide with and I grew up in the states in a Latino family whereas my husband grew up in a French family from Paris so for a second I thought this could have been a cultural thing but I can't fathom in my mind the idea that this is not molestation or abuse. Thank you again. Now I just wish I could make my husband see that this is molestation as he was unaware. |
Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:24 PM PDT So im 25 and my name is Patrick. I have an identical twin brother named John. I'm currently single but John is married to a girl named Kelsey who is 23. They got married two years ago in 2015. Kelsey and I both work at Olive Garden so we see each other often. Im not stalking her or anything but she always leaves with this one guy and I caught them making out in the kitchen once, which was beyond awkward, since she is married to my twin brother. She always leaves with him and today I decided to confront him. I told him that she's married to my twin brother, and he started yelling at me about how he doesn't care. I started yelling back about how that he's my twin brother. I eventually just walked away. Should I tell John what Kelsey is doing behind his back? I don't want to be a snitch, and that guy said he was gonna beat me up if I said anything. What should I do? |
Question: Is it strange to consider your cousins like your siblings? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 07:01 PM PDT I'm an only child but am close with my cousins(male and female.) We are all teenagers and I visit them every month(we live in different states, though.) I know they're just my cousins but we're just so close that I consider them like my brothers and sisters. Do you think this is weird? I'm a girl. |
Question: I’m breaking my mother’s heart? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 06:55 PM PDT I'm 19 and my parents absolutely hate the man I'm seeing. |
Question: Siblings take my clothes? Posted: 21 Oct 2017 06:48 PM PDT Is there any way possible I can prevent my sisters from taking my clothes. They go to school in He morning and get ready while I'm asleep and sneak my clothes. I wouldn't mind them doing it if they would just put them back. But all they do is take them off and throw them in the floor and I never see them again |
