Been together 7 months. Our relationship hasn't been smooth sailing by any means. When we begun, one month in on Mother's Day, I found out when I was out of state visiting my Mom she hung out with a male behind my back. Said it was her brother, then confessed it was a guy friend. She was at the bar at 2:30 a.m. and I didn't hear from her that night, only the morning after. So, she broke trust early on. I gave benefit of the doubt, took her story and tried working on the trust issues 2 months later she went to Miami Beach with 2 girlfriends. Was acting weird. Came back trying to break up with me. We stayed together and a week later I found out she added a random guy on snapchat This hurt once again, I asked her why she did that she said she had no intention of talking and was being friendly A month ago, 11 p.m. at night we are hanging out she receives a phone call from a guy who used to like her. I asked how he got her number, because she changed her number two months ago. She said he took her phone at work and called himself. Fast forward to two nights ago. We got into an argument and she said she doesn't want to be with me because I have trust issues and insecurities. This was very hurtful. Posted: 18 Oct 2017 07:37 PM PDT okay, so basically i'm in my high school's chorus, and basically everyone dates everyone, and i just got out of a nasty non-realtionship with someone in chorus about a month ago, and i've been harping on it, so our choir director [who is like a cool aunt figure to all of us] and she said i needed to move on and find someone else who isn't yanno a COMPLETE piece of garbage. i'm a sophomore and i'm in select women's choir, so there isn't a ton of options, and the last guy i was with who was garbage was in advanced mixed chorus, so a lot of the guys in there like HATE me now cause they think i'm crazy. so my options are limited, since i'm not really interested in anyone outside of chorus because i go to a WHITE *** school, but there IS beginners mixed chorus, which is prodominately freshman. so here's the thing, i've befriended one of the members of beginners mixed, and he's VERY cute, and VERY sweet and VERY talented. and we hit it off, and he's a BIT immature but no worse than the last guy was, and he wasn't shitty cause he was immature. but the thing is, he's a year younger than me. like, it's kinda weird cause he may just see it as "oh this girl whose older than me wants to be friends" because it could EASILY be seen as that, but i don't wanna like just be friends? basically, what i'm saying, is would it be completely ludicrous for me to date him or even try and flirt with him, when he's a freshman and i'm a sophomore, or would it be inappropriate?? |

We're currently in our third year of college together. He/she attends another university than I do. During the summer we would hang out almost every day. However, he/she is a very attention seeking and depressed person at the same time. Me, being a very emotionally independent person, I choose not to let many things bother me, and it's been going really well for me after I made the decision to do that. So, in college my friend gets mad at me because I won't talk to he/she for at least an hour a day on the phone. We obviously text a lot, but she talks with me more than her boyfriend. Recently he/she was very upset that he/she puts more effort into the relationship and that I don't give he/she more attention. (I had a phone call until 5AM with he/she because I didn't want to upset he/she.) He/she has a boyfriend(5 years) and gets upset when I am too busy to talk with he/she, even though I work 20 hours a week and have 18 credits and I am an officer of two clubs. Any advice? I don't know how to let he/she down gently saying I need space, last time I attempted this he/she cut himself/herself and it put me in awkward spot. Pleas help! |

Sarah likes Adam, but it isn't mutual. Sarah is convinced that Adam likes ME. I'm not sure if I agree with her but here are some reasons. Sarah texts Adam A LOT but he NEVER answers. Adam only really answers my texts from the friend group, an even texts me first. According to Sarah, whenever I'm not around he always asks where I am. He's told me things he hasn't told anyone else in the group, and always mentions that he trusts me. We talk about meaningful topics but we also have a crazy amount of jokes that only we understand. Also, he always asks how my crush and I are. He remembers the little things I've told him. He lives really close to me and when I walk home from the bus stop I pass his house, and sometimes he comes outside and hangs out with me before I go home. He's not one to talk about his feelings, but he's opened up to me. He sticks up for me and supports me. He ALWAYS gives me high fives. Sarah told me he said "The jokes between (me) and (my crush) are getting annoying." Also, if he notices himself getting excited, for ex. when I mentioned I would be on his block, he instantly adds a "or whatever" at the end of his sentence. Posted: 18 Oct 2017 06:51 PM PDT Ok technically he was a friend with benefits, and so I asked him if he was in a relationship 5 weeks ago, he said no, I found out today he he got a girl pregnant 7 weeks ago, and he didn't answer then I asked what is it that she has that I don't have, and he said it was something to do with her horses having pedigrees and she sent him pictures of her horses papers and he sent them to me and I kinda got mad and Flipped out on him and said something that my colt has a lot of famous horses in his bloodline (Which is true), and then he didn't believe me so I sent him my colts pedigree (with certain things blacked out) ( I know this was stupid of me) My colt as I have been told is at least worth about 10,000 when he is fully trained (not selling him, he also knows tricks) But its stupid that he brought my horses up, and then he said its because he has never seen me ride english, but clearly I have an english saddle in my tack room, along with my 2 western saddles. I ride it very often. I am Like WTF, I just want one freakin answer and I just don't enjoy being lied to. I know I am stressing over it but this is extremely annoying that I asked and then have to find out later, during the 5 weeks I didn't know he kept sexting me. |

| Question: How to stop having strong reactions to what my boyfriend says or does? Posted: 18 Oct 2017 06:42 PM PDT When me and my boyfriend have an argument or we finish the days we hang out on bad notes, I feel so horrible. For example on Monday night we ended our last conversation badly and I was so sad and felt so sick all of tuesday and most of today until we talked again and dealt with the problem. This keeps happening and it is so hard for me to deal with because I overthink so so badly and even when I'm busy (I work and have a fairly busy schedule) I can always always always think about him and our argument I'm never too busy to think unless I'm sleeping which is why I can't stand arguing with him because I'm so negatively affected by what happens in the argument. When we have a good day I feel delighted and super happy and I don't think about him too much and everything is okay but when we have a bad argument my entire mood changes and I feel sick and sad and my head is loud and i can't sleep because I'm busy thinking and overthinking. I haven't told him to what extent this issue gets because I don't want him to be scared of talking to me normally. How can I deal with this?? When we are together everything is so amazing but when we talk on the phone it just ends badly most of the time. I'm thinking we need to stop talking on the phone but we don't live too close and can't see eachother very often so we rely on it. I'm so so sick of feeling sick when we have an argument. It affects me so badly and it's not healthy for me. Thanks x |

He's pretty nice and fun to talk to, but he's been acting pretty weird. Today, he kept asking me some questions such as if I had a boyfriend, if I ever had one before, if I have any brothers, and if my class with him is one of my favorite classes? I was kind of upset today during class for some different reason, and he thought he was the problem. He asked me what's wrong, and if there was anything if he could do. One of his friends sits next to him, and he kept whispering something over to him. He kept whispering, "Isn't she a cutie?" And I acted like I couldn't hear a word he was saying, but he clearly isn't any good at whispering. One of my other guy friends sit next to me,(I know I sit at a table with all boys, weird af I know) and he kept asking me questions about the project we were working on. Then he randomly just says, "You stare at her too much." in kind of a jealous tone. Then he started saying "You're one of a kind." But he didn't say it loud enough so I could hear, but I obviously heard it. Do you think he likes me, or he's just messing with me? I'm 14, if this helps? |

Posted: 18 Oct 2017 06:34 PM PDT We were together for 10 months.. she is 18 and I'm 24...everything was going a good few months ago which was February, until I asked another girl on messenger for a nude...my girlfriend saw that message then got mad at me... the day after that she told me it's fine...she forgave me and all of that but it stills linger in her mind....months past... I started to get irritated at little things she does so I get mad and would raise my voice at her...she tolerated that for a while...and this month....we went on break for about 2 weeks, she told me that give it time and we will see what happens...I got sad cried and she was all fine.I guess because I would get mad, anger issues...but whenever I get angry she wouldn't do a thing....she just sits there and be quiet which makes me angrier...at least talk to me about it....fast forward...after break we spoke, hung out for a day then the next day all she said was good morning. The whole day she didn't even text me or talk to me at all, I got angry and overthink sent her a load of messages then took her the next day to reply back to me and all she said was "wtf are you talking about?" nothing else just that, and she started to ignore me, I sensed something was off so I called her and message her some more. After third day she finally texted me back and told me " please just give me a break" and slowly, she drifted away from me, ignoring me. Anyway, today she told me she's talking to someone else for a different perspective on viewing things, so she told me she understood how I felt but she feels better alone and she keeps saying "honestly" every text she keeps saying that, she told me she doesn't feel sad or mad that she was on break. I'm putting effort trying to fix this but she isn't even doing the same.....I feel like we are broken up but I am trying....she still has me as a friend on facebook....I don't know anymore...she is confusing me. |
